Alex from Morrows Moving & Storage drove my stuff from southern Alberta to northern Alberta and he gave great service. Alex teamed up with a local company to help unload my stuff. Alex was very careful, considerate, and made sure everything was looked after. He also was kind enough to help unload a few things from my car as they were heavier items, even though it was not part of his job. I would hire Alex again in a heartbeat and I will recommend him to friends for sure.

I knew we had a difficult move on our hands - full pack into 2 different locations, time sensitive and across the country, and I was worried. I didn’t need to be worried at all. One of the best experiences in moving ever. Pat who quoted the move was terrific - gave us lots of used boxes, was helpful, staying in contact and followed up the day after the move. Ken was the master loader/unloader and driver. He was there when he said he would be. What this guy does is an art. His swampers at both ends were awesome. We would highly recommend Morrow's Moving.

Terrible customer service. Lost item and no responsibility for it. Initially we had delivery time set up a week earlier, and at moving date, the crew arrived several hours later-not even close to the initial scheduled time. After unpacking all the inventory, I realized that a leather office chair was missing. I called to enquire and the receptionist said “they’ll look around for it”. Never heard from them again.

I had a great experience using this company. It was the first time that I hired movers personally, so I was quite nervous about what to expect. The men that showed up made the process very easy. They were very personable, friendly and great to get along with. Made a stressful day fun! Showed up on time with everything needed to do the job efficiently. Even though it was an extremely hot day in the middle of August they kept going and going. They were fair in their estimate and what I was charged as well. I did have them assemble my bed for me, which was probably the best decision ever so I had somewhere to sleep that night! I booked everything over the phone, and even had reminder phone calls. Friendliest front desk out of all the calls I made also! I really appreciated it, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

If you've moved houses even once in your life-time you know how stressful that experience can be! Not with Istvan and his crew; you can rest assured and have peace of mind that your stuff is getting the "white glove" treatment from the moment they pack it up to the moment they deliver it. We hired Istvan for our big move from Toronto to West Kelowna, and I can't say enough good things about him and his crew. I was particularly impressed with his friendly demeanour and his communication style. He was quick to respond to our txts and picked up all our calls during transit. We hired Morrow's to move us from Langley to Kamloops and they did an excellent job, right from booking with Sandy to the actual move. Clint, Paul and O'Shade (hoping I spelled that name correctly!) arrived on time, were pleasant and professional, and worked very hard. The next day, Clint arrived at our new Kamloops home with Nick and again, they were great. Nothing was broken, which is always a plus when it comes to a big move. I highly recommend Morrow's moving. Professional team. Clint arrived on time to Victoria, professionally wrapped my daughter's stuff and carried them to the moving truck from the 8th floor. We quickly loaded the truck and we drove to the ferries. Arrived in Langley on time where Pavel joint the team . We had time to carry everything to the 4-th floor day time. To pack, move and unpack from Victoria to Langley in one day is not a joke. Great job. Thank you to Kristina & Istvan and to their outstanding team. I highly recommend this company for your move.

Booked by phone two weeks in advance for a local move in Chilliwack. Quote was provided by Sandy based on list of items and pics I sent by email;. On moving day, Clint and Josh were on time, followed all precautions and, with a professional positive, attitude just proceeded to get the job done. All little extra requests were happily accommodated. When it was time to pay the bill it was substantially under estimate. For a hassle free move, call these folks!

The final bill was higher than the quote but that was because we had to add boxes to the load, and Clint discussed the increase with us. We’d use this company again without hesitation.

Following a friends recommendation, we chose Morrow’s to help us move house in January & again in March 2020. It was an excellent decision, they were both personable and professional from quotation through to completion. Moving is stressful enough but even more so during the pandemic. However, they were flexible, supportive and the removal men ensured social distancing with an extra level of hygienic practise. They turned up on time, worked diligently and completed both moves efficiently in a friendly manner. Should we ever need to move again Morrow’s would be our preferred removal company. Beware of this moving company. They provide you with a very low quote initially just to send you a much higher bill at the end!! As I had to move in a very short period of time I needed packing services. They initially quoted me approximately $1400 for packing services. They also offered a half-pack or partial pack as an option. I stated I would like to go with that option as I already had many boxes already packed and I could easily pack our clothing and toiletries. Other companies quoted $1400 and 3 packers for a full pack option and approximately $700 and two packers for a partial pack. I inquired how I would be charged for the partial pack and the lady Pat stated that it would be material used and the time it takes to pack. On the day of the company send a single, elderly man with health issues. He was unable to go up/downstairs very well at all (the company knew ahead of time I have three floors). It was a rainy day and I have beige carpets and he initially refused to remove his shoes, nor did he have shoe booties. I immediately tried to inquire from the company if I would be charged hourly as it was evident that he would be much slower getting the job done in compared to another packer (I’m sorry it’s the truth) the company did not respond. I immediately called Pat and she was extremely rude and condescending on the phone when I voiced my concerns as how I would be charged and if the job will even be completed in time. She simply did not address how I will be charged and told me “it will be done when it is done.” She also mistakenly mentioned that it was a busy day and he is the only person available to complete my pack so I have to deal with it. She quite literally said this. Yesterday I received my bill of lading. They charged $1060.25 for the partial pack. 2/3 of the cost of a full pack. When I requested a breakdown for the charges I noted they charged $70 per hour for the packing services and charged for 10.5 hours. The packer himself stated “well I got the job done in 6.5 hours!” as he left (which he did not do himself, I had to phone a family member to come over and help me. We did the top floor, bottom floor and packed a significant amount of boxes ourselves.) I also noted they charged for 3 full rolls of packing tape at a significant mark up which is completely untrue as not even a full roll was used. When I tried to call the owner to voice my upset over the bill he basically told me that I was narrow-minded and that if I did not pay the bill in full I would not get my personal belongings. His exact words were “well who has your stuff right now?” in a threatening tone. He stated that I was charged for 4 hours of travel time which I never agreed to pay for. Even if a did, google maps shows their office to my home is 54 minutes. So where did the extra two hours go? He also stated he charges $70 for packing because he can and he will. At no point, even when requested did the company inform me that they charged $70 an hour. They also refused to explain how they charge for the full pack. There is no way they charge $70 an hour per packer if they send two to complete a full pack. I even asked how he could blatantly do this to a family and he laughed. In the end, the owner told me I better pay or else he is keeping my personal belongings and then hung up on me mid sentence. Do not use this company. They will give you a very low quote and then completely screw you charging you for things you did not receive and over charging you with a poor service.

Upon recommendation from friends ,I contacted Sandy at Morrows to handle/book my out of province move ,which was from Abbotsford ,BC to Regina,SK. I also spoke to Patricia about storing my belongings for a month prior to leaving the province. Sandy and Patricia were awesome ...professional ,knowledgeable and courteous.When the time and date was set up for delivery the Morrows driver and team arrived at my new residence ahead of schedule which was greatly appreciated. The driver and his team handled everything with care and efficiency. I was very pleased with Morrows from start to finish. To put the icing on the cake the bill was lower than the estimate. Thank you all at Morrows ... I definitely recommend their services.

i had such a good experience 8 months ago with a different local moving company that i thought this would be the same unfortunately it wasn’t even remotely comparable i wouldn’t use this company again and dont recommend them they advertise 40 years of experience they sent me 2 young new guys the one was his second day and one ready to retire exhausted man without the older man the younger ones couldn’t have done the move they complained the couch was heavy its a regular sized basic couch no recliner in it or anything they complained about moving a dresser to the top floor said its heavy its an average dresser your supposed to be professional movers these guys would not be able to move large curio cabinets if you have any of those look elsewhere damaged the walls going up the stairs damaged the walls on main floor because they leaned furniture against the walls ive never ever had movers push furniture up against walls damaging them it will cost a few hundred to fill and paint no discount was offered even though he pointed out the damage he made so be it they complained about all the stairs two sets of stairs inside not steep your doing a move in promontory everyone here has alot of stairs yes we know thats why we hired you moving furniture is your chosen job the last company i hired didn’t complain things were heavy thats part of being professional which brings me to my next point i felt terrible for the brand new guy who just started because the other young guy was bullying him when starting a new job you need guidance a bit of patience and respect is always appreciated they moved a piece of furniture together the newer guy was put in the walking backwards position other guy kept yelling “LEFT,LEFT,LEFT!” the guy was going to his own left not the other guys left common mistake when backing up he then proceeded to yell at him “ FOR F***K SAKES DO YOU NOT KNOW YOUR LEFT FROM RIGHT?!!!” dont humiliate your fellow worker in front of customers it’s uncomfortable i doubt that guy will stay prior great reviews are based on other movers i can see in at least one of the reviews pictures of the movers not the guys i got maybe request the guys in the picture if they are still there i hired based on those reviews big mistake ask how long each worker has been with the company these guys were very slow i definitely paid 30 percent more due to how slow they were also all the cream coloured furniture had black tar substance rubbed all down the sides and banged into legs the finish is completely ruined on three pieces no idea what they did it must be from the truck they said to leave things in drawers but then carried nightstands upside down from truck all the way to upstairs so between the damage to walls, furniture, and hours extra due to being slow i overpaid and i dont recommend

Our tenant was moving out of the basement suite and hired morrows. They showed up at the front door at 7:30 am and banged on our door like they were the cops. Not once but twice, when there was a DOORBELL next to the door. Woke everyone up and then instead of apologizing, one of the guys argued that we didn't have a doorbell??? Really?! The doorbell is next to the door, it even lights up when you press the button! They came back again to ask for a vehicle to be moved in the driveway and this time they RANG the doorbell, so why couldn't they do that in the first place. You don't bang on someone's door like you want to take it off. When my dad went to go talk to them later. One of the guys told my dad that he had to knock hard because "it was such a big door". Absolutely unprofessional!

This is the second time that I will be moving with Morrows Moving. My first move was awesome, the movers were friendly and knowledgeable. They were also very patient, and took care of my stuff like it was their own. They are an amazing company, that really values their customers. Sandy in sales is awesome, and she is very easy to talk to. This company also will accept income assistance cheque’s to help you move. They also have used boxes they provide from their warehouse. Tonight, a worker even carried them to my car. I was blown away. I will never choose another moving company. Morrows is definitely my go to!

I too found myself in a difficult situation with this company. The service provided was long & drawn out, taking 2 days to move my furniture & effects 15km. They arrived late...had to have a smoke break before starting. Took almost the whole day to load up things from the garage, so when they got into the house to load up the day was already gone. Arriving late to my new residence, I knew they were tired, but they insisted on unloading. After my brand new king size mattress got ripped & cut up from the way they were unloading it near the ramp attachment to the moving van I got them to stop. They had to come back to unload the rest of my items the following day. Unfortunately I had to go to work so I was not here for that 2nd day...& thank god. If I saw 1/2 of what my gf was telling me...how my things were handled...drop kicked into the garage, plus the way they loaded my garage you cant even get in there...I imagine they didnt want to haul all of the boxes in the house so they loaded a good portion of them into said garage. Many things were damaged...even the walls going up the stairs in my new place. I didnt think they unwrapped all the furniture BEFORE moving it into the house...but this was the case. Now the manager doesnt even respond to my phone calls or my visits down to the office. I'm being treated like they dont even know me & that "oops she just stepped out 10mins ago". This has been a month now...1 week from dropping into the office & again leaving my tel # for her to call me back & yet...no response. I remember her telling me that they were a professional moving company. THEN START ACTING LIKE PROFESSIONALS & address your complaints!

We used Morrows to move into our new home. Booking and organizing was easy and quick. The prices are good and competitive. Shane, Shawn and Clayton were fast, professional and effective. They are also great with kids. The owner Stefan is also very friendly and supportive. They made our moving experience easy and enjoyable. Nothing was lost or even scratched. Thank you fellas.

The only star possible related to their punctuality. They showed up on time and delivered on time. The interim process was terrible. Their charge was 75% above their estimate, (see Stacy Porritt review below), they lost 3 of our boxes, a 24 foot ladder and negligently damaged our furniture. 6 months have past and we are still trying to settle the insurance claim. We believe this entity is just a call centre - beware! Once they have your commitment, (and money) they totally disappear. The previous long time owners were dependable and they developed a good reputation. Apparently the business was sold in 2018 and the new owners do not appear to be the least bit interested in any level of professional customer service.They have not returned a single call, email or letter. We have reported them to BBB and Canadian Association of Movers. There are numerous good moving companies, you don't need this one. Check BBB and discount their rating. You will be much better off with "Bob the Mover". Supplementary: After 3 months Morrows finally responded to the review above. They seemed to think that since we had obtained their estimate, all is well. Unfortunately, the amount we had to pay to get our belongings delivered was 75% over their estimate, and they did a terrible job! Allied had to pay over $2,000 to repair the damage they inflicted, after we went through 5 different adjusters and waited over 7 months. They indicated that they had tried to contact us.. This is a blatant falsehood! THEY HAVE NEVER, NEVER, RETURNED A SINGLE EMAIL, LETTER or PHONE CALL. They have always had our telephone number, our email address and our home address. They were able to quickly contact us when they wanted payment. They have invited us to call them but this is totally insincere. We have tried many times, only to be told “someone would get back to us”. NO ONE HAS TO DATE.

Booked over the phone for January 2021. Informed of the hourly rate and agreed. After moving for 2.2 hours, they tried to charge me 4 hour minimum for weekends, which was not discussed. They then said 3 hours is the best they could do and that covers the drive back to Chilliwack from Abbotsford. We did not initially discuss the return travel time, so I reluctantly accepted. Movers were great, I would have used them to move out of storage if not for this poor business practice.

I had booked my move from Winnipeg to Nanaimo with Allied Van Lines and was lucky enough to be paired with Morrows Moving. After seeing quotes form other companies and reading reviews about the final cost deviating so far from what was estimated I am glad the direction I went with this company. Cost came in less than the estimate, movers were on time, careful, communicative and very friendly. If you go with Morrows Moving make sure to ask for Clint. Very Happy Customer.

We were very impressed with Morrows. We moved from Agassiz to Enderby. Sandy came and did an estimate for us where other companies wanted us to do it ourselves on line. Sandy did an amazing job of scheduling us to accommodate our Moving time line as other companies wouldn't give a exact date of delivering our belongings. Clint was also amazing! He was the master of knowing what to load ... Like a puzzle and he managed to get everything in and a whole lot more than we didn't plan on. They also worked longer than scheduled.
