The customer service is great. Very courteous and helpful. If I left a message it was promptly returned. Very accommodating with my timeline getting the storage box moved back and forth from my property to theirs. The use of the storage box made my move a lot smoother. My only complaint would be that the inside of the storage box was wet. Perhaps condensation or moisture coming in from the doors. However I did not find damage to my belongings. I would certainly recommend the storage box and I would certainly use the service again.

WE CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT USING THE STORAGE BOX. MOST IMPORTANT WAS THE EASY USE OF LOADING AT OUR LEISURE, ONE ITEM/BOX AT A TIME. THE BOX ITSELF WAS CLEAN AND WE CHOSE THE 20 FT. I would not recommend this service for anyone moving. We rented the three bedroom house box and filled it with the contents of our three bedroom house. When it was time for pick up I was told it was too heavy. I had to, on the spot, remove 1/3 of the contents out onto our driveway. Then had to rent a UHUAL to load and transport those, obviously at added expense and time. Made an already stressful day 10x more so.

The customer service was great. The delivery people were friendly, and willing to adjust the box when I needed it moved just a foot over or a foot closer they didn't make too much fuss at all. The box is great and comes very clean. I was a little disappointed, when I measured the box from the outside it was less than 20ft (19-8 I think, smaller on the inside), and not quite 8x8 as I was told. For me, who's pretty precise about things, I had planned on using some 4x8 sheets of plywood to brace the boxes but they wouldn't fit and they couldn't be cut so I had to improvise, but likely this is not something that would concern most people. I liked that they had some places to attach straps inside, wish there were a few more, or they were adjustable, you need to plan ahead with the straps before you block them with boxes though. I wish I didn't have to purchase the lock, I'd much rather return it after the rental, not many uses for it afterwards. They give you a 1 hour window the day before and call when they are on their way and their times are very close to what they tell you. Much better than a service call that is either AM or PM :). Their fees are inline with anyone else's and if you have the time to load the box for a move it's great, cause when you finally need to move, it's just a matter of unloading everything. Oh and they deliver on Saturdays, which is a huge plus.

I decided to go with The Storage Box over the other container companies because they offer a daily-rate (as opposed to a monthly rate like the others - they upsold me to the better container, but after using the service, I doubt the basic/shipping container would have been a problem for my purposes: moving)...& I only needed the container for 3 weeks. Note: The Storage Box will charge you for a 4 week period up front, & then reimburse the unused time at the end of your term. The container was clean & functioned great (I had to purchase my own disc lock though - $15). I was able to move things from my home into the container in my driveway a little bit every day, which was very convenient & less stressful than having to move everything in an afternoon. The customer service was good too: I was finished with the container a few days early & although they couldn't pick it up right then (it was Labour Day weekend), they did stop charging me as of my phone call. I will certainly recommend/use this service again!

The First 2 boxes that we got delivered were very clean and smelled good. However when it came to the 3 box it had a very bad musty smell to it. As we will be storing our stuff for up to a month we could not put our stuff in it. After being told to air it out for a few days the smell did not get much better and would not be able to put my stuff in it. I had asked them to please deliver a new box that was usable. They said the only way they would deliver a new box is if i agreed to pay another delivery charge. This would not be very fare as i already paid for the delivery and this situation was caused by them. Also was told the lock was $10 and once i agreed to purchase a lock for each box it went up to $15. I had such a great experience with the first 2 bins and really hope that they just deliver another smelling bin with me having to go to bbb and consumer protections

After 40+ yrs. of moving furniture up into and out of trucks, I can't do it anymore. This was the easiest and best organised move ever. Fill the box (furniture Tetris, I'm bragging here; filled every inch) Box gets moved. Empty the box. Box goes away. Definitely the way to go.

Excellent Company/Service. From the point of inquiry about their services, to the end point of picking the storage bin up from my new property. They did everything they said they would: called ahead of time to schedule drop-off/pick-up; called when on the way to do so; would check with/guide me re placement of bin; billing statements took place exactly as they stated; Staff EXTREMELY helpful whenever I had questions. Especially appreciated that they could store the bin overnight & deliver AFTER my closing date. This really decreased stress of moving. I had the bin delivered long before my closing date so I could move items into it, at my own pace. Only suggestion re 5000 lb limit on the weight: perhaps a general breakdown of how much items weigh (sofas, beds, tables, shelves, etc.). I was unsure as to how much/many of my bigger items to pack in the bin. I would use the Storage Box again & based on my experience, would recommend this Company to friends/family.

Wendy at Guardian Storage was polite and accommodating and I was grateful for that since I ended up renting way more space than first expected. We were so impressed with The Storage Box service. We had a few months delay between moving out of our old house and into our new one. The container was dropped off and picked up at both locations on schedule and our belongings were stored safely. When we unloaded the container, there was no damage and everything was clean and safe. We found their pricing to be very competitive and all communication with them was very responsive and professional. We would definitely recommend The Storage Box for moving and storage needs!

These people were great. From the phone and email communications to the guys that did the work. Phones were actually answered and you spoke with normal, responsive people, not overtrained mindless agents who are scared to say something wrong. Those are the worst. Even the guys that came out to move the bin were awesome. Again, normal guys, and when my bin was overweight, they allowed me to take things out until it was acceptable. They were cool about it and didn't just leave because they were on schedule. Definitely going to use them again if I ever need. The prices are more than fair.

Timely Delivery & Friendly expert staff helped make my move as smooth and easy as possible. The Container we received was in excellent condition and kept our belongings safe and dry. The no-tilt pickup system works well, and is fascinating to watch. Although this should be obvious and isn't a mark against Storagebox or their product...these containers don't have internal lights or windows. We did a lot of packing after dark, and needed to set up some worklights.

Everything went perfect as planned for delivery and pickup but I think they send someone out to check on the location of the bin from time to time bc every few weeks or so I would see someone stop in front of my house looking at the bin maybe writing the number down or making sure the bin was still there according to their inventory..

Very happy with The Storage Box in the Windsor area. Cory and Dominik were extremely help and accommodated us whenever needed. They really do a great job communicating with you (i.e. letting you know when they will be there, confirming 30 minutes prior to arrival, invoicing to email). The only thing I would say is to be cautious on asphalt - I didn't have a supporting block of wood in the corner and the bin began sinking into the asphalt driveway which left damage to the new homeowners. If you ask them to ensure there is wood at all corners for support they will do it without a problem, but just a heads up for those that may not be aware.

Started off the new year with a pretty bad flood. Needed a storage bin and found The Storage Box online. They sent me a bin withing 2 hours of calling. Such a simple process. Great staff to work with. Never had an issues. When i was done with the box they collected it immediately. Great buisness great staff!!!
