We hired Sheffield Moving & Storage for a move from Ontario to New Brunswick as they provided a competitive quote and we wanted to use a reliable trusted company. We weren't disappointed! The movers arrived on time and loaded our belongings with care, taking time to wrap every item of furniture. They took the time to carefully load the truck so as to prevent any damage (and there was no damage.) The workers were friendly and polite and the driver was very informative. Our items arrived within the time frame provided by our consultant and were quickly offloaded and placed where we requested. They even moved a few items twice as we didn't have a set spot for them. They put all our furniture back together and removed all wrappings etc. We were very happy with the amazing service we received and with the very friendly workers. I give Sheffield Moving & Storage and five star rating and highly recommend them for your next move. Thank you!

Worst unprofessional experience in my life. I use moving companies all the time. Neither one of the two delivery guys wore a mask!. The short heavy set guy was somewhat pleasant but tall skinny guy with a hat was very unprofessional. They were delivering a sofa. I asked if they could wait just one minute so I could take main door down and drop it off inside door. The skinny guy proceeded to tell me "We aint got no time for that we have other deliveries . You got what you paid for!!" Bravo Sheffield . I am a business man and if I talked to my customers like he did, I would have none.. He didn't care and left my box on the step. I asked them to leave my property as I was so upset. I use moving companies a lot this is the worst I have ever seen. Train your employees and just be courteous. It goes a long way.

I would recommend Sheffield in a heartbeat based on the following important factors for me: 1. Exceptional communication and punctuality; always on-time, made us aware of additional services to make our move easier which we didn't know of and follow-ups through email to confirm dates, times and services were greatly appreciated. 2. Safe and secure packaging and transportation. Everything was over-wrapped and carefully packed so nothing moved. No scratches or issues whatsoever. 3. Upon delivery, the team worked with us to place items at our preference and worked around difficult corners and stairways with any damage. Considerable extra time was taken in the delivery process and never did we feel rushed. Again, sincere thank you to Sheffield, Mike and his team!!

After reading multiple positive reviews, my partner & I selected Sheffield to assist us with a long distance relocation between London and Kelowna. I prepared a lengthy list of questions to ask during the on-site estimate and was pleasantly surprised when Mike automatically addressed all of those issues without needing to ask. He also came prepared with a variety of documents that would prove incredibly useful throughout the rest of the packing and planning process. This initial experience confirmed Sheffield as our #1 choice and that was further solidified when their pricing estimate was more realistic than any of the other companies we investigated. Mike and David also remained helpful throughout the process and were happy to answer any additional questions as they came to mind. Sheffield accommodated our desired moving date and the movers from Allied Van Lines were very fast, detailed and careful while loading the truck. Our possessions arrived in Kelowna within the estimated timeframe and we were kept up-to-date on the progress as needed. My partner confirmed that the movers were equally great while delivering our possessions and everything arrived in the same condition as when it left our apartment in London. Long distance moving can probably be complicated and difficult. However, the services provided by Sheffield and Allied made the process of moving to a province incredibly easy, relatively affordable and stress-free. I highly recommend them and can't imagine a better experience than the one they provided.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! FALSE SALE REPRESENTATIVE.........Hired men off street with no experience ,A guy named Marko showed up on my move broke things ,inappropriately spoke to me, and he and the other young man quite before move was finished, There was a older man left on truck to place things...We had to rent a discount truck to put the remainder of stuff on! We only got into new home after 12: 30 pm , because we had to wait till another crew on another job finished. All of our stuff just got thrown into two rooms of the house ,being it was so late ...When Notified the company......... they wanted to charged more money!!!!!!!!! stuff was told to be broke but never did they show us.......... Very professional and very hard working. Our move went off without a hitch and we have absolutely no problem recommending this company wholeheartedly. Our old house was an old Victorian with steep stairs and all kinds of nooks and crannies but Sheffield managed to navigate all of them. They even disassembled a railing and the reassembled it after they were done. Our bed was put back together and my massive record collection - 28 boxes!! - was moved with utmost care. I don't ever want to move again, but if I do it will be with Sheffield Moving and Storage! Exceptional customer service! If I could give less than 1 star I would. I had my belongings shipped from Ontario to Alberta. No one from the company gave any sort of information regarding the transport of my belongings. They gave a delivery date of any time between 23 days after pickup then informed us after we had to call to ask where things were that the delivery would be an extra 4 days at minimum. After indicating this was unacceptable as we told them to begin with that it needed to be moved asap, they got the stuff here by the last date of the original time frame. However they had broken a few items and refuse to replace the items they broke. We were not informed of anything and there was no communication between the company and the shippers. When items were delivered by Allied, they informed us that Sheffield broke our belongings loading it onto the truck and that it was on Sheffield to replace. However, when brought up with Sheffield, they denied responsibility and made excuses for their incompetence. If we had been informed of everything prior to shipment we would have gone elsewhere. They put the blame on anyone but themselves and their movers.

Hi This is my first time i am using Sheffield Moving company . 3 movers and a truck . They did an amazing job yesterday in my move out and in . Reaching at 8:30 am sharply , modern and clean truck , uniformed staff, never wast time in side talking , all what i saw is work and only work . With almost zero damage Left , they load my furniture in the truck from town house in london to my new house in london . Finish on 4:30 as estimated by their manager . I really thank Diana / manager and the team , and i strongly recommend any to go ahead with them for moving services with no doubt that the service will be delivered professionally , on time , High quality , and worth the paid value 100% . Actually , i was happy to give them extra .

I used this moving company last week, and caught wind from an employee that one of the workers tested positive for COVID, not entirely sure who has had people move within the last week but all should be aware of this situation. You’d think the business would be shut down during this time due to not taking “ proper “ protocol on COVID matters. as far as I’m concerned matters should have been taking serious and no movers should be moving anyone at this time

Sheffield helped me relocate from Chatham, ON to Edmonton, AB in May of 2018. Looking back at the experience I think it deserves 5 stars. Estimation was reasonable, all questions were answered. Furniture was thoroughly wrapped and loaded up with care. Special thanks have to be said to the truck driver. Real pro, honest, nice and helpful. Looked like he cared a lot about our belongings and our time. There was a little hiccup, however. Dates were messed up. On the day we were supposed to be leaving we discovered that the truck is expected the next day. We were shocked, our schedule was going south. But Sheffield had shown its true colours when this happened. After this was discovered they really went to turbo mode and made sure our move happened on the same day. At the end, the delay was only a couple of hours. I've relocated between provinces before. Mistakes do happen, but it matters how they are dealt with. Sheffield's reaction was impressive. I don't think I will be moving from Chatham to anywhere again anytime soon, but if I ever have to - I'll call them again. Thanks guys!
