Truly awful communication during our long haul move. We could never get answers and just got rehearsed lines from customer service. So, not only did our stuff show up a week later than our quoted time frame estimate, because they quoted a time frame without having already booked a trucker driver, they did not reimburse me for an item they lost. Not sure how I can prove with a photo that something doesn’t exist, but they would only reimburse for “damage”. So thankful the process is over and done with so we never have to deal with them again.

We contracted Moving Solutions to do all of our packing, as well as to load, transport, and unload. It was a single-household move (approx. a 3 bedroom house amount of household goods). The owner came to give us the in-person quote, and was excellent in answering all of our questions. There were a few areas that were unclear or did not go to plan; specifically: the "unpacking service" was not explained well to us and we believed we were going to receive that service, but once we were in the new home, he fully explained to us (it's just taking things out of the boxes, not putting anything away). We ended up declining the service. The other issue was that their big truck did not fit on our prior home's street, which they should have noticed at the time of the quote. They did find a solution and took care of it, though. We had no damage except for a few rubbermaid storage bins getting cracked. They took precautions with our wood floors and wrapping furniture well. The movers were friendly and efficient. They even managed to unload much more quickly than anticipated. Overall we had a very good and smooth move experience with Moving Solutions and would definitely consider using them again and recommending them!

Moving Solutions provided outstanding service. Even with a delivery delay, everyone went out their way to make sure my delivery and setup was smooth. The gentlemen did not leave until I was happy with each placement. Each item was carefully wrapped, protected, and inspected. If I could I wouldn't even rate this place a 1. While traveling on I-70 before Knightstown we got stopped in a traffic back up due to construction. As we were stopped in traffic we hear something and all look to the left. When we do we see a semi barreling past us to avoid a rear end collision with us. If he had hit us we probably would have either been severely injured or killed, as he went 500-1000 feet in the median before swerving back into traffic. After we had gotten out of stopped traffic we observed him almost take out a barrier wall as he was speeding through many construction zones while swerving all over the place. I hope he didn't kill anyone on his way to his destination as we were not slamming on our brakes when he almost hit us we had been stopped for a while, which means he wasn't paying attention for a long while. His license plate was from Ohio and read PWF 3368 and his US DOT was 1223357. There was also a number on the truck that read 527.

I used Moving Solutions to move my office from one location to another seven years ago. They did such a good job, I called to have them move me and my family to our first new home in 23 years. Originally scheduled as a two-day move, they did it in one long (very long) day, moving rooms of furniture, a piano and over 100 boxes in a most professional manner, without any damage at all. I had a damaged vanity that needed to be returned to Costco. Costco set up Moving Solutions of Mentor to pick up the vanity. Liz was my contact person from Moving Solutions, She was wonderful. She had been given my incorrect phone number and she eventually got a hold of me thru e-mail. She stayed on top of my pick up trying to co ordinate it with other pic-up or delivery's in my area. She was so pleasant to work with and kept me in the loop until after pick-up. She even had Howard and Josh the movers, call me 1/2 hour before they arrived. Josh was so courteous when he called. They did arrive within the 1/2 hour like they said and they were FANTASTIC. This vanity was 48 " long with an attached Marble top (HEAVY). They were so professional and pleasant as they quickly got the vanity out the door and packaged on their truck. It was excellent. I did not have to worry about taping the box back around the vanity of secure it in any way. Howard and Josh took care of everything. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with them. Thank You to all.

Not even a one star! Have been dealing with our botched move from Stow, Ohio to Dallas Texas for almost a year. Not only where they over 3 weeks late with our items and not helpful at all, multiple items came damaged. Now after attempting to file a claim to get reimbursed for damaged items and 3 extra weeks in a hotel room our claim was denied. Mover beware! North American Van Lines and Moving Solutions have no idea what customer service is and don't care as long as they have your credit card number and get paid.

Moving Solutions was great, start to finish. From getting an accurate, affordable estimate, to loading up in a blizzard (they actually shoveled the driveway about every hour), to a speedy delivery to our new home 800 miles away. All my pre-move questions answered speedily. Not one thing was broken, this was a good natured, fast, hardworking crew. The way they handled the logistics of that snowstorm was so impressive- I unreservedly recommend them for your move.

Would never use them again. Left cigarette butts in my driveway. Used them twice. Left glass cardboard laying in the front yard. They continually complained about the company they worked for. Also the movers transported an turn of the century Antique, and the drawers got damaged.

Recently had Moving Solutions move our complete household from Ohio to Arizona. We chose Moving Solutions because their representative came out to the house to inventory what we were moving and explain how the move would take place. His calculated weight was actually a little heavy so we did see some savings after the movers weighted the truck. The movers notified us the day before scheduled pickup and arrived on time the morning of the move. They were very courteous and professional. Wrapped all furniture, disassembled a few items and did a wonderful job packing all the boxes. We were notified a day before the scheduled arrival and that was the same as the pickup. (on time, professional, and very courteous.} Having never done this before we weren't sure what to expect. Now after completing a 2000 mile move we highly recommend Moving Solutions.

They made my move so easy! Very accommodating. We didn’t find out until the day before our move that our motorcycle could not be ridden to our new house. With one call they told us they would be able to move our motorcycle as well. Such a relief! The movers were very nice and professional. Kept a great pace and put boxes and furniture right where I wanted it. They took an interior door off and put back on to get furniture into the basement and didn’t leave one mark or knick. No surprises in pricing. I would without a doubt use them again and recommend them to everyone.

Moving Solutions handled an appliance exchange with Electrolux, and as part of the exchange they were to install the new dishwasher. Their team lacked ANY experience in installing the dishwasher causing extensive damage to new custom cabinets, failed to use supplied parts from the manufacturer, had difficulty understanding directions and could not install the dishwasher straight into the cabinet. Caused damage in excess of $2,900 and I am chasing Movign Solutionsto be reimbursed for the expense. Round 2 Ray, more to follow!

If you value your furniture and personal belongings, DO NOT USE MOVING SOLUTIONS! I agree with the person who said they don’t deserve one star, but you can’t leave a review any other way. My dining room hutch had the glass broken (looked as though a football was thrown through it), all finials broken from top of baker’s rack (pieces were wrapped in duct tape and placed in top drawer - can’t say they weren’t aware of damage), completely took apart a beautiful oak fireplace and wrapped duct tape over the wood to hold pieces together, insert and grill were next to the pieces. Never meant to be disassembled! Completely ruined. Destroyed multiple lamps-harps missing or bent, two floor lamps ruined, beveled mirror broken, beautiful grandfather clock missing glass, key, etc., parts missing from sleep number bed, fragile glass items shattered (boxes marked fragile on all sides were placed beneath heavy items), upholstered chairs dirty/material torn. Biggest mistake was trusting this company. Belongings were taken to large climate controlled storage facility. Home sold quickly and hadn’t found another. Stayed with relative until new home purchased. Didn’t think it was necessary to watch movers at storage facility. Took personal belongings/clothes to relative’s home, then drove to storage facility to pay thousands of dollars to a company that ruined countless belongings, including some irreplaceable items. Didn’t know about damage until I hired Two Men and a Truck to move me to my new home. Highly recommend them - competent, kind, professional, and charged half the price. Five movers from Two Men and a Truck were as upset as I was as they discovered one damaged item after another. They stated they move people for a living and my things were not properly handled. They gave me their individual business cards, stating they were willing to testify to this. President of Moving Solutions is lacking customer service skills. Denied any responsibility, even though one of his employees came to my new home and saw the damage himself. To quote him, “It’s taking me a while to process this.” Promised “to make it right”, then sent text messages saying he was on vacation (three weeks in a row). - I have never written a negative review about a company before. As a professional I am absolutely appalled. If you value your belongings, USE ANY COMPANY EXCEPT MOVING SOLUTIONS. Wish I would have read previous negative reviews before dealing with them. No wonder their rating is so low! Reporting to Better Business Bureau.

I used Moving Solutions to move me from my apartment to my new home. This was not an easy move (no elevators, long walk to parking lot..) and the weather was awful. The guys who moved me were absolutely wonderful in spite of the difficulty of the move and the bad weather. They were fast, polite, and professional. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a hand moving.
