I can't say enough good things about my experience with Hands On Moving. These guys were professional, friendly, reasonable, working at an incredible pace, and kept going from start to finish. Their packing service is the best value you'll find through your entire moving process. They've been at it for 20 years, so they know all the tricks to getting your things moved safely in the best way possible. My wife and I have hired many contractors and services over the past few weeks, and this is without a doubt the best hire we've made.

If you're reading reviews to choose the right mover for you, I'll save you some time: this is the moving company you want. Completely satisfied with the job these guys did. They showed up on time and didn't stop hustling until the job was done, finishing earlier than expected and under budget, and everything made it from my old house to new house intact. Can't ask for more than what Hands On Moving provides.

I shopped around quite a bit, and Hands On Moving was the most reasonable price compared to every other company. Jason, who is the owner, was very professional. He was happy to answer all of my questions from my first conversation with him and throughout the entire process. He was super quick at getting back to me as well. The day of the move, him and two other movers did a great job. They were very quick even though it was raining, which did not stop them. They finished the whole job in three hours (including the drive to my new apartment which was close to an hour and a half commute). Overall, very satisfied with Jason and Hands On Moving and would recommend anyone moving to check them out!

Hands on Moving uses a web-based home inventory system that allows you to convienently share information about your move and request a quote. This eliminates having to schedule someone to visit your house to give you a quote for your move. I found this to be SO helpful especially when I was busy trying to organize all pieces of selling my house and organizing my move. The one thing I would do differently is give myself more lead time to complete the inventory. I personally waited until 2 weeks before my move to schedule and since packing happens over time I didn't leave myself time to add to the inventory. Basically, the more accurate you can be on your inventory the smoother the move and the move accurate your quote will match your final sale. That said, on the day of the move Jason Hand and his team were prompt, professional and so very helpful making our move as easy as possible. I would definitely use Hands On Moving again. Hands on moving was excellent to work with. They were prompt at arriving when expected and worked dilengently to get all our furniture packed up. Jason was extremely friendly and made sure I was happy with where everything was placed. During the entire move I felt like they put us first - they even brought an extra mover to reduce the number of hours and make it more cost effective for us. Hands on moving is the best! They moved my daughter to her apartment from her brothers house, they also had to make a stop at my house to pick up her furniture and drop off a bed. These guys were so polite, professional, fast I was so amazed. If I could give 10 stars I would, I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone I know that's moving. We had an excellent experience with our movers last week and would highly recommend them. It was a difficult decision to select a moving company but we are happy that we went with them. The movers were great, they arrived on time, were careful in their handling and moved quickly. The company was priced very fairly and they had excellent availability. Called a few times to discuss a move and was happy with discussions and game plan. Booked the move and texted information as asked. Did not receive a confirmation. Texted a couple days before the move....nothing. Called on moving day before before business hours and received after hours message ... left a voicemail. Called after the business opened and it transferred me as in the past ... left a voice message. Called again! No response to this day! If there was a mistake, issue, crisis... whatever, I would have expected a call back regardless of the reason! Critical move and time sensitive, scrambled to find a company to move me 2 days later. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! As a follow-up to the response.... that is complete nonsense. In today's age of technology you would actually attempt to sell the notion that I was called, left messages and texted several times. I have no record of any of that whatsoever! Plus, I left my phone number after each message I left. When I called the day of the expected move. No one ever called me back, but you respond to this bad review quickly???

Hands on Moving did a fantastic job with my move! The guys arrived on time and were polite, conscientious and very efficient. Knowing that I was paying them by the hour, they worked very hard and diligently, not wasting any time on their phones or taking breaks. I had some heavy, fragile pieces of furniture and they handled them with great care and respect. They worked hard and fast and got the job completed. I felt very confident with their work and I would highly recommend them and use them again.

I looked in to a few of the big moving companies, and got quotes ranging from $2900 to $1800 then I called Hands On. Jason quoted me over the phone 1/2 of what the others were. He asked me what we had to move I told him what I thought. his thought was 2 and a truck for 6 hours. Looking at my stuff days before the move, I called him back and said, send 3 guys. He said sure, no problem. Well 1750 fully loaded basement was more than they bargained for. I said good thing I asked for the extra guy, he said should have been 3 extra. we laughed. The time was 6 HOURS on the nose and price was as quoted they worked at a pace that would have killed me. But for a few minor scraps in paint ( carrying full rolls of carpet down tight steps) I told them just get it down I don't care . The move was better that anything I could have expected for 1500 less. Don't be a fool Call Jason today! P.S The move was on a bitter cold day in January. George McNabb 3/29/2019 Sorry Jason. This took so long should have had it done the day after the move.
