Worst moving experience ever. Worst team of movers ever. Arrived three hours late; made a mess at my old residence, threw garbage outside of my new residence. Workers were lazy and inefficient. Broke glasses, dishes, other irreplaceable items; broke a ceramic torch lamp that had moved 3 prior times. Damaged the wood on a china hutch. Literally threw my crates and boxes down my basement steps, damaging my steps and breaking the crates. Slammed a hutch on the ice and/or concrete breaking the "Foot" on the bottom on the cabinet. Paid over $2300 for what I expected to be a "professional move." They paid me $276 for all of the above damage they caused and more that I didn't even report. Management is quick to take your money but very, very slow on responding to your complaints or resolving problems. I would highly recommend you find another moving company and vet them carefully. I would have received better service if I hired 10 friends and rented a U-Haul truck. AWFUL!

Appreciated the professionalism of this company. I have done 2 long distance moves this year and this company far exceeded the other one. No damage to furniture, responsive throughout the whole process. The only thing that I wish was better was them being more proactive about communicating dates. I did have to reach out a few times to get confirmation, but once I got final dates everything was great and the movers were on time for both loading and delivering. Would definitely recommend!

Got immediate responses to questions I had (Natalie). The driver (Michelle) was fantastic! Both she and the 2 movers, arrived on time, loaded in 3 hours (taking great care with my things) and delivered my stuff on the first day of the 4 day window they gave me, even after a huge winter storm that had delayed me by a whole day while I drove my car across the country! We have had certain Executives work with Berger personally and using them recently to move our world headquarters was a great decision. Paul and his team we organized and quickly put together a game plan for our move. They had approximately a week time to put the puzzle pieces together. It was an amazing experience prior to the move and even better on moving day. Cardell and his crew really know what there doing and treated our less then new file cabinets as if they were purchased yesterday. The way the Shrink wrapped everything to protect it was apprenticed and truly above and beyond. You would understand better if you could see our clearly used cabinets. I would recommend them for any and all of your moving and storage needs.

The gentleman were so nice and extremely careful with the furniture and keeping my house protected during the delivery. They put down a mat and still always took off their shoes. They put a protector on my doorframe and put on gloves to keep my couch clean, all the while being very congenial. They cleaned up all the trash and set up my rug for me. From start to finish everything has been so easy! Allied/Berger had great communication when it came to getting my estimate, regularly checked in with me, updated me anytime additional information became available, and was always on time. They were quick and careful when packing my things and kept my place clean (no damage or trash left). They also had an easy to use payment portal (and having gathered multiple quotes they were also the lowest cost). I will definitely be using them for any future moves and highly recommend them to others.

My wife, Stephanie and I moved from Akron, Ohio to Orlando, Florida and the quote we received in Ohio was exactly what we paid in Orlando. And you want to know the best part? Berger Allied was cheaper than anyone else to begin with! Their packers, loaders and drivers were courteous and professional throughout loading and unloading. Nothing was broken, and nothing was missing. Everyone greeted us with a handshake and a smile in the morning, and they ended the day with a handshake and a smile. So, if you are looking to move across the country…or across town; do yourself a favor and call Berger. Let’s face it…moving is a stressful. Don’t add to that stress by calling Larry, Curly and Moe. Arhaus kept getting the order wrong at least 3 to 4 times in an attempt to replace defective desk drawer and desk delivered to be assembled without any hardware. The bright spot in all of this was the delivery team. Apologizing for things that were not their fault. Very professional and quality delivery and assembly.
