This was our second time using Angel Movers - the first between condos in Toronto, and most recently for a full day move to a house just over one-hour north of Toronto. On both occasions the process was smooth and hassle-free - from the first call for a quote with Anna to the last box being unpacked. All representatives of the company (both in office and the moving team) are personable, accommodating, and took great care with all our items. I would not hesitate to use Angel Movers again and/or recommend them to family and friends.

Amazing Experience! A colleague recommended that I use Angel Movers and I was not disappointed. When I booked over the phone they were friendly, personable, knowledgeable and efficient. I received a call the day before the move confirming the details, which was reassuring. On the day of the move they arrived 5 minutes early to when they said they would be there and got right to work. The two movers were incredibly professional and careful. They protected all furniture before moving and were very mindful of the building I was moving out of and into. They were worked smartly and did not waste any time. I highly recommend Angel Movers! They were amazing from the first point of contact to the very end. In the beginning, I made a list of 5 moving companies. did my research and compiled all the information into a spreadsheet. Angel Movers were the most cost effective option. But what impressed me the most was how knowledgeable, friendly and efficient Anna was. She was always prompt, patient and personable in responding to my emails. It was like having a friend who was a moving expert that you could call or email and know that they would take care of everything. It was very reassuring in a time when I was stressed with planning 2 moves in one week. For both of my moves, I could not believe how efficient, careful and friendly the movers were. They showed up 15 minutes early and these guys are definitely professional expert movers. They were fast in disassembling our furniture, carefully wrapping them in thick blankets and moving them to and from the truck. One guy moved a dresser by himself on his back!! They were like machines! The whole time while they worked, they were friendly and courteous and kept the atmosphere light. The movers’ dynamic with each other was cooperative and easy-going. They look out for each others’ needs and took care of one another. And I really liked how they used runners to protect my new hardwood floors. The runners were in good condition and smelled like they had just been washed. My brother is planning a move and my husband and I just had one story after another on why he should go with Angel Movers. I want my brother to be taken care of during his move and I trust Angel Movers to do it. It was a great moving experience, THANK YOU!

I'd have to say that the reason I went with this moving and storage company was because I was divinely guided I kid you not. Anna was AMAZING! She was so helpful, beyond helpful. I had to change some aspects of the move and she jumped through hoops to make things work. The men arrived to move my apartment contents into another storage company that Anna had helped me with as their storage facilities were full. So far, so great with this company!

Long Distance Move Without A Worry! Couldn't have asked for a better experience in moving from a 3 bedroom house in Toronto to Montréal. Their front office was extremely pleasant and was able to respond to all my asks. They were able to confirm a moving estimate within one day of me calling, which was below my budget and they ended up costing a decent amount below the estimate. They picked up our stuff in Toronto, kept overnight and delivered in Montréal the very next day, being fully moved in by 3pm. All of their movers were super professional, friendly, efficient and most importantly, did a great job with everything making the move just as it left Toronto. Would strongly recommend!

Chose Angel movers for my big move from Montreal to Toronto, 4 bedroom house after extensive research and gathering feedbacks. Great experience, very professional, responsive. Took care of some of really tricky situations. Best part is no surprises with regards to cost. They charge hourly which works great because guys are super efficient and fast, no time wastage. It wasn't perfect, it was big move so and had challenges which were managed well. My rating is more like 4.5 but google doesn't allow it. Strongly recommend them.

The movers Riccardo and Adrian were exceptionally skilled and proficent with their plan as they were greatly in sync and flowed like water even with the obstacales that were before them (ie driveway was blocked and new place was down a elevator) nothing slowed them down and they aided me in the removal of objects from the first place of residence that I could not do myself as I am physically disabled. We can’t say enough how impressed we were with Angel’s moving crew Nick, Adrian, Ricardo and Chris. From the moment they arrived, they had a positive can-do attitude, and problem solved every challenge our location and furniture posed. For example, the street parking on our narrow downtown Toronto one way street made it nearly impossible to load the truck efficiently. The crew didn’t stress us out or bother us with this challenge — they creatively solved it by very skillfully backing down the street (which is not what we would have thought of!), and parked in such a considerate manner that our neighbours could still easily drive down the street. They were extremely efficient, completing the entire move in the 9.5 hours you’d estimated. They were professional, polite and cheerful even as they faced three flights of turning stairs at our new home. They took care to place everything in the right room. We’ve unpacked and nothing is broken. From the front office responsive service at the very beginning, to the excellent moving crew at the end, we will recommend Angel Movers unreservedly. This is the second time I've used Angel Movers and I won't use any other company. They are professional and efficient. I moved from a 2 bedroom house into a 2 bedroom house, which included moving a piano. The movers were punctual (showed up early), and the move took less time than was estimated. From the moment Anna answered the phone, I knew I was in good hands. We moved a fully packed 10'x20' storage unit to our new home (granted, the home was just a few minutes away). At our destination, they continued to impress me with their abilities to handle large, heavy and fragile items. I've heard horror stories of movers, and these guys are the opposite. Recommend - yes.

Hired Angel Movers for a 1 bedroom condo move. I have no complaints. Communication with the company was great. The movers showed up on time. The movers were friendly, respectful and moved quickly, but carefully with my belongings. Its that little extra care they took that was really nice. I've moved a lot and some movers are more concerned with speed (and others not concerned with anything at all). But these guys have found the perfect balance between efficiency and care. Angel Movers helped us move from Ontario to Quebec in the middle of a freak ice storm last April. Their hard-working team arrived and emptied our place with energy and a positive attitude, despite being pelted with ice pellets the whole time. All of them showed the highest level of professionalism and respect. The following day, after performing a harrowing white-knuckle drive to Montreal in terrible weather, they arrived on-time with a cheerful demeanour, working hard to unload the trucks and put everything where it should go. They took the time to protect our floors against the wet weather, proactively changing the mats as they got too wet. Considering the horrific weather (most schools were closed that day), they managed to keep the place very clean. Leading up to the move, the administrative staff communicated proactively with us to coordinate the event, and provided useful tips for facilitating the move. Everyone there expressed genuine care for customer support. Angel Mover's flat fee structure removed any unpleasant surprises from the process, a welcome relief from having to debate over hourly rates. Moving is stressful enough as it is, and it was reassuring to feel that they would take the necessary time to do a good job. Overall, the price was not the lowest, but they throw in some features that you would otherwise have to pay for. I feel the price was more than fair for the excellent service we received.

On the day of the move, the 2 guys that came to move me out of my 1 bedroom basement apartment were punctual, personable and efficient! Having strangers in my home isn't the most comfortable thing in the world but Ty and Tom communicated well and made small talk as they did their job. They treated my things with such care, which I also really appreciated. On the other side of the move not only were my things put where I needed them but the guys also took some of my things downstairs to the storage locker for me so that I wouldn't have to deal with it later! It started off first with a great call with Anna. I had done a lot of research on finding a good mover. What I learned was that the first call was important. Given the pandemic, many movers aren't able to come to your home/condo to give you an estimate. Anna was thorough - she asked detailed questions on what needed to be moved, tips on how to best manage it. This lead to a smart quote with approximate number of hours and what to expect on that day. The day before we received an email confirming the start time the next day. Prior to the move, we were concerned about a few things: 1. Would items get damaged on the move? 2. Would they arrive on time The day of the move, they arrived 10 minutes early and the three individuals did an amazing job. Long Distance Move Without A Worry! Couldn't have asked for a better experience in moving from a 3 bedroom house in Toronto to Montréal. My first experience with Angel Movers was in 2007 and since then I use Angel Movers exclusively for all my moves. They even picked up my upright grand piano from the Pearson Airport and transported it safely to my condo a few years ago. Angel Movers are a little pricey than the average movers but they're just incomparable to other moving services. They are stress free, reliable, fast and on time every time. Yohan, Anna and their team of movers are respectful, friendly and courteous. My friends and family have used their services and they were all very impressed. I highly recommend Angel Movers.

Most of the time the experience is pleasant and easy, but it really depends on the "crew" that is assigned to your house. On one occasion the crew was a little rough around the edges. The other four times, they were very good. I am leaving a 5 star review because the company deserves that rating based on my experience with them. I would however like to disclose that the company sent me an email asking to leave them a 5 star review in return for a $40 gift card to a restaurant/store of my choice. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I hired Angel Movers in 2016. Customer service from Anna (office manager) and day-of moving staff (Matt and Tim) was phenomenal. Anna sent a highly detailed confirmation letter via email outlining the number of hours booked along with a breakdown of costs. Matt and Tim were kind, courteous with excellent work ethic and a great sense of humour. They rolled out the red carpet and got to work right away. They worked quickly and efficiently moving items from a house to an apartment. They used padded carpeting and blankets within both homes to protect flooring. The rate charged per hour (in 2016) was $99.00 (two professional movers and a truck). They factored in distance and loading/unloading. The price charged to move from Markham to Toronto was fair. I moved from a 2 bedroom condo to a house in Feb 2021. I contacted several movers in order to compare the quotes. Angel movers were recommended to me by my real estate agent and their quote came out to be most reasonable amongst all options. My very first interaction with Anna in customer service put Angel movers high on my list. Anna was very helpful in providing all the details, communicated every thing very clearly and followed up to my emails and calls with promptness. I was provided with a rough estimate on moving costs and as Anna had mentioned to me, it did come out to be a more conservative estimate. A queen size mattress cover and 4 wardrobes were included in the cost. On moving day, Angel movers team of 3 people arrived well before time. Steve lead the team and he explained to me how the team would go about packing the contents of my place. Ricardo and Alex were the other two on the team. Each of them were very polite and cordial. They took great care in wrapping all my furniture items in quilted blankets. They rolled out carpet on the floor to avoid damages while moving items. The wardrobes were handy as I didn't have to pack up anything that was on hangers. The team worked systematically and efficiently. They were done with packing and loading the truck within 2 hours. Upon arrival at my new address, the team once again rolled out carpets on each floor and the stairs. I was very specific about where what item needed to be placed and the team was very cooperative in catering to my requests. They unwrapped every item and collected all the garbage in a corner for easy cleaning. The unloading was done in 2.5 hours. Anna again got in touch to find out if the move went smoothly and was available to answer any questions I had around billing. Overall, I highly recommend Angel Movers to anyone looking for moving services. These guys were exceptionally good.

They were so great to deal with, from the people on the phone, to the two men who moved me. We did have a problem with booking my moving date, but the person who fumbled on it was super apologetic and we found another date that worked easily and everything was great. The day the pandemic was announced in 2020 was the day we out our house up for sale, obviously not good timing but we didn’t have a choice. Angel Movers did an excellent job. I hired them four times this year because they were such a pleasure to work with. Anna who booked the move, was very friendly and nice. I hired them in February to move all the furniture from the second floor to the first floor and the basement as I was replacing my carpet with hardwood floors and other renovations. They were very careful, professional and extremely knowledgeable as they knew how to position the furniture so it all fit downstairs. I was so impressed with their work I did not hesitate to call them in March to move everything back upstairs. Although I was a little nervous that the walls and floors would get scratched when moving back, it turned out that this was not an issue. They used runners to protect the floors and were very careful with everything. In August, when I renovated the main floor, I called Angel Movers again to do my internal move. This meant the move was not a straightforward move form one place to another Angel handled the entire move very well. The movers were polite and efficient and there was no damage. I have used Angel Movers twice in 9 years. Johan, the owner, was so helpful and professional when I moved 9 years ago, that I had kept his business card all this time. I moved this past February, exactly 9 years later, with winter weather to deal with. His crew of 2 that he sent were excellent, took great care with even heavy items, difficult to move and were done in record time. Though I had no contact with Johan this time, Anna was excellent and looked after all the details. An Impressive Heavenly Experience Indeed! Angel Movers more than live up to their 5-star rating and in dealing with them, many things impressed me. First was Anna, the company's customer care agent. Late on a Friday, I was in desperate need of a mover for the following Wednesday morning. I left a message expecting to receive a call on Monday morning, but instead, Anna (the Angel) calls me first thing Saturday morning to set things up for 8:00am Wednesday. I'm impressed. And not only that, but when compared to the nine other companies I contacted, Angel Movers was easily the best bang for the buck, especially seeing that it was a relatively small move, which some companies refused to do. Come Wednesday morning the Angel Movers arrive with a large, CLEAN truck 15 minutes EARLY for our 8:00am start. Again I'm impressed, especially since I've heard horror stories of movers being 1-3 hours late. The moving crew of Tyrelle and Darrin, were fantastic. Not only were they polite, courteous and extremely careful, they also worked quickly and had the truck loaded within 45 minutes. They arrived to unload on time for our scheduled elevator 'window' at the retirement home and all furnishings were safely in place in the apartment within an hour. Once again I'm impressed because the total time it took for the move and the final costs were exactly the same as Anna's estimate. Very impressive indeed. And finally, I appreciated Anna calling after the move was complete to follow up and see if there were any questions or concerns. Overall, the best moving experience I've had and as a result, I highly recommend Angel Movers from start to finish.

I had such a lovely experience with this company that I wanted to share, so that all the other nervous people would feel reassured. I moved from a two bedroom condo in Toronto to a house in Owen Sound. I have a LOT of art, and some of my pieces are huge, like 6 feet by 7 feet, and many more that are slightly smaller. I had read the horror stories of moving companies loading their trucks with people’s stuff, then telling them that the estimate was wrong and was going to be a lot more than quoted. Since their stuff was already on the truck, the people had no recourse so had to pay the inflated price. I combed the reviews on moving companies and came upon Angel Movers. They had hundreds of reviews and I couldn’t find one that wasn’t complimentary where the customer wasn’t totally satisfied. Anna was my first contact. She was genuine, took the time when I called to go through my place with me and list what I had so that she could provide me with a reasonable estimate. They don’t go by weight, but instead, what you have, so be honest and tell them the truth so you don’t have any surprises. Anna was so warm and friendly and put me at ease immediately. She took her time with me, though I could tell that she was very busy. She made me feel important and that my concerns mattered. The team that came to do my move, Alex, Greg, and Moe, were incredible! I was ready when they arrived, with everything packed, taped and labeled to put in the truck. They were extremely careful with my belongings, dissembled my couch, bed and massage chair, and packed the truck so that nothing moved around. They were done in less time than was estimated and were very thorough. They unloaded at my new place in less time than was estimated as well. Nothing was damaged and all my art, furniture and belongings arrived without issues. Johan, the owner, has a wonderful company in Angel Movers and I highly recommend them to anyone that wants their move to be carefree, safe, reasonable and personal. Way to go Angel Movers, I truly can say that I did have a Heavenly Move. I have already referred two other friends to this company for their upcoming moves. Great experience! Ours was a very difficult move. Lots of stairs from the house down to the street. Had to park park quite far away. Plus it was the hottest and muggiest day of the summer. Akiva and Gabriel not only did a great job moving -- they packed the truck perfectly. When we got to our destination (we hired Angel to pack our rented truck since they don't move to the U.S.) not a single scratched or damaged item. I would highly recommend Angel movers!

Due to a divorce, I had to sell my home this past summer. I haven't had to move in 20 years, and in moving, I knew I was not going to use the previous mover, which was a well known national brand, but the value was nowhere what I expected. I looked around for quite sometime, reading internet reviews, and ultimately I decided to try Angel Movers, primarily on the strength of their many positive customer reviews. I was right away impressed with this company, as I was contacted quickly by Anna, who most importantly wanted to understand what I was looking for and when, rather than just schedule me in. She wanted to understand the scope of the move and what was involved to exact details. Despite this though, they were able to provide some latitude for me unknowns - I wasn't sure whether some of the furniture would be staying or moving, but she was able to accommodate me in either case. I also found her personable, not focusing on the business side, but also was empathetic towards my situation. It was a great conversation, and I had decided to book Angel for my move as a result of seeing how they were focused in building not a business relationship but one where the move logistics is tailor made to the customer's situation. On the day of the move this past summer, everything went like clockwork. The three movers, Sam, Ty and Tim arrived on time and were professional right off the bat in introducing themselves and wanting to see the lay of the land for what I was moving. My kids were there and they were friendly with the kids and had good customer service skills. All three gentlemen were polite, to the point where they asked if they could put on some music while they worked, to which I replied "of course". There was some things that I had not anticipated, such as my bookcases being bolted into the wall and I had no tools - they were able to take those apart with their tools even though that wasn't part of the original arrangement. The flexibility in helping move some additional items was very much appreciated. I saw how they worked - with the kids heavy bunkbed, they tried to remove the top section on one piece and tried taking it down the stairs. When they realized it would be difficult, they made a good choice to not try to do it for the sake of easy, but for safety and the integrity of the furniture, they took it apart (and reassembled it later at my new place). At the new place, they were able to quickly move everything in safely and there was no damage to anything (unlike 20 years ago with the national bigger company). I think Sam, Ty and Tim's big strength was assessment. They were able to quickly determine whether something worked before they tried it and they employed good problem solving yet were efficient in their work. They were the consummate professionals and I would not hesitate to use them and Angel Movers again, which I definitely will. My kids really enjoyed them and said "those were cool guys". Anna followed up with the move and my bill ended up being less than I thought due to the move being less time. This says a lot about the integrity of the company - some other companies would have just billed the full amount, but I am pleased that Angel did not and for that reason I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for their next move whether small or big. Their commitment to customer service and the care they show the customer from start to finish a testament to not only their great business acumen, but also their honesty and focus on making sure the customer's needs are put first. I used Angel Movers' service when I moved between condos in Toronto. The movers did a tremendous job moving my belongings fast and safely, from the smallest one to the heaviest and largest one. They were professional and did well with the time windows provided for the elevator booking(the thing I mostly was afraid of) - they actually finished the moving earlier than expected. As for the customer service, Anna was amazing - she was very understanding (and funny and patient with me, answering all of the many questions I had to her. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with Angel Movers and I definitely recommend others to use them.

From the very beginning Anna works WITH you to get everything organized and lined up that works best. She is an authentic and caring person and that really helps. The movers themselves (Steve and his team) were excellent. They came in right on time and carefully moved our belongings from our condo to our new home with car and professionalism. There was one small issue with a broken leg on a dresser which was addressed on the spot. The dispatch/office team is another story. On the day of the move 3 movers were sent instead of 2 (our quote was for 2 movers at a rate of $125 per hour). The move was 4.25 hour and yet we were charged on our visa (absent of an invoice) for significantly more than what we had agreed to on our initial contract. The contract gave an estimate and also states "You will be charged actual time/travel costs upon completion of the move. We always aim to complete the move in less time than the estimate when and where we can." I asked for clarification for the charge on two separate days after our move and was promised a call back. A call back was never made on either day. I finally received an invoice that showed 7 hours billed for the move. Today I asked to speak to Johan the manager. Johan called me back and while I was trying to explain our concerns I was told that we are trying to 'nickle and dime' and he hung up the phone mid conversation. Never once did I ask for a refund. I simply asked for a call back to understand a charge that was not congruent with the contract we signed. My request to speak with Johan was simply to suggest that sending an accurate contract and engaging in transparent and accurate billing practice is preferable to changing the terms of an agreement and incorrectly/subjectively billing a customer. 5 stars for the moving team. 0 stars for management and the dispatch/office team.

After several attempts calling different moving companies and getting the run around, at the peak of my frustration, a friend recommended Angel movers, she said their service was second to none. Starting with Anna who arranged everything, she was professional, detailed and still managed to make us feel like we were being taken care of by a friend. The day of the actual move, the men were on time , friendly, polite, respectful and gave us an immediate sense that we had nothing to worry about. This was our second time moving with Angel Movers, and after our first incredible experience we did not hesitate hiring them again. Anna (the office administrator) is incredible and took care of EVERYTHING for us - including booking us a storage locker and somehow got the price over $1,000 lower than we were quoted when we called in ourselves! I was so anxious about having to move by myself, and under bizarre circumstances. My first closing date was July 31, but I didn't take possession of my new place until the end of August. So after my friends and I moved my things from my condo to a storage locker for the month, I knew I had to find movers to move into the 3 story house. Enter Angel Movers. They came highly recommended by a friend of mine, but I was still worried about footing a moving bill on my own. I reached out to Anna in the office, and explained my situation, and she just said, "Let us know when you know." When she hadn't heard from me at the end of August, Anna reached out and kept me posted on available dates in September. And when I mentioned that I had about 50 boxes at my parents' place in Markham, she figured that in too. So when moving day finally came, I met the nicest team of guys (Steve, Ty and John) and the angel magic happened. They were on time, loaded up the truck, drove to Markham, loaded the extra boxes, drove to Pickering, and unloaded everything in 3.5 hours. They made sure all the boxes were in the appropriate rooms, and even set up the kitchen table so I could have lunch. John even offered to some spiderman moves to get my boxspring in a window, when it couldn't get up the stairs. But honestly, the easygoing team worked like a well oiled machine. These guys squashed all the horror stories I had heard about movers taking theur time to rack up the billable hours. And in the end, when I got my bill, and I'd been overcharged half an hour, all it took was one e-mail to get the amount refunded to my credit card. If I have to move again, I'll definitely be calling them. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Truck was there on time. All my stuff was wrapped and carefully removed. Similarly, unloaded and placed at my house following my instructions. Truck was large enough to fit all my stuff. Two men did the job with masks on their faces due to corona epidemic but with no complaints and quite fast. I recommend Angel Movers and plan to engage with them again.

This is the best moving company ever! I moved from a 3 bedroom town house to a 3 bedroom condo that included stairs and an elevator. Being a student I was also looking for a company that was not to pricy and had a flexible schuedle. The customer service woman that I called to set up an appointment was outstanding and went above and beyond providing me with multiple quotes for different days and number of movers. On the actual day of the move the men showed up on time and were friendly and respectiful. They made sure we knew exactly what they were doing and checked with us at every step. Anna on the helpline was super kind to me and not only did she give me moving tips but also tips on motherhood. It was indeed sweet of her. The 2 movers who came to execute the move were very nice and did not let me pick up the smallest of bags. They did all my packing in less time than initially estimated as well as were efficient in the move and unpacking as well. There were issues with the loading area in my destination condo but they were very accommodating and worked around a repair that was on going at the delivery site. Angel Movers were recommended to me by recent very satisfied clients, so my expectations were high to begin with, but they still managed to exceed them. My move was not a simple one - from an older downtown apartment building with a very small moving bay, a second stop to pick up additional furniture from storage, and the final destination was a 4-storey townhouse with very narrow and steep stairs. Anna, who helped me with the online estimate and appointment booking was thorough, and extremely pleasant to deal with. Movers Danny, Shane and Sam were very professional and made magic happen - they got my extremely heavy treadmill up to the third floor, and a bulky sleeper sofa up the stairs as well. I didn't think they'd fit, but they somehow made it happen, and with minimal scuffing on the walls that's to be expected. The icing on the cake was the great price! I'd recommend Angel Movers again in a heartbeat!!

After reading a number of horror stories surrounding moving companies, I felt getting a personal referral would be a better option. A friend of mine referred me to Angel Movers whom she had used in the past and was scheduled to use again in the near future for her next move. When she explained her experience, it sounded too good to be true but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Angel Movers definitely proved themselves and set the bar extremely high. The guys were early, polite and extremely helpful. They disassembled items (as required) and wrapped the rest in blankets with care. At the new property, they rolled out mats in all of the pathways to ensure the move was damage free and clean.
