Island Movers Ltd are the most courteous, efficient and conscientious packers/movers I have ever used. Each item was wrapped and packed with great care. Not a single item was damaged. All furniture was wrapped up tight and safe in thick pads. They always responded effectively and immediately to any of my questions and emails. I would highly recommend them and their dedicated crew to anyone. They made moving a breeze!

I contacted Jeff to pack and move me from Port Hood to Port Hastings. He was always most responsive. Jeff and his crew packed and loaded me on December 17, 2020, and unloaded my goods on the 18th. The price was excellent and the service was outstanding. Special kudos to Jeff and Dave. It is only a day later and I have only fully unpacked the kitchen stuff to this point in time. which was the most fragile, and I found nothing damaged, broken, or missing. Jeff was also most accommodating in loading items that most of the major movers won't accept. I only had to move gas and canned butane by my personal vehicle. I would never, ever, consider moving with any other company in the future. I will be recommending them to anyone who is about to move. Jeff and his team, are professionals, courteous, and so responsive to client requests. They are where they say they will be, when they say, as agreed. You will never regret contacting Island Movers Limited. Talk to Jeff first, and then you can talk to "major" moving conglomerates, with all of their rules and regulations, and steep prices, which include substandard service. I have done several "government" moves in my lifetime, so I know of what I speak. Thank you, Jeff and Dave, for your exceptional service and courtesy. UPDATE: I have fully unpacked my house as of today, January 4, 2021. Nothing damaged, missing, or broken. This is a "first" for me. I have experienced several "government" moves and I could never report such good news. Quite the contrary. Lots of damage and other issues. I was initially hesitant to engage a young moving company, not affiliated with a "major" moving company. The Google reviews that I saw were all positive about Island Movers, so I decided to take the chance on them, since I had not been happy with my previous moving experiences. I am SO glad that I contacted Island Movers. You will be too. I would absolutely recommend that you engage Island Movers. If I could give Island Movers, six stars, I would! Thank Jeffery and Dave.

I hired Island Movers (Jeffery Briand) for our big move to our new house in Cape Breton. I met with him prior to the move where he gave me an estimate. The day of the move they arrived on time, wrapped all of the furniture, delivered it to the new place without any breakage or damage. The movers were very pleasant and hard-working. The cost of the move was the estimated amount provided to me prior to the move. I was very happy with the service and would recommend Jeffery and his team.
