I booked this company for my move from Ontario to Fredericton and I recommend them highly????????????????. They phoned before arriving, arrived on time and made quick and efficient work of packing me up. They took my belonging east and stored them for a month until I got possession of my new house. Tammy and crew arrived just when they said they would and quickly unloaded. It was soon discovered that I was missing some stuff and as soon as Tammy returned to the warehouse, the missing pallet was located, she immediately phoned to let me know and they were on my doorstep the next day with the missing items. It was a great experience all round and I highly recommend them????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Moved from Fredericton, NB to Alberta. Had my items in storage with them for a year and fully insured through them. On move day they informed me someone had underestimated their quote in Nova Scotia and there was no longer room for my vehicle. Their option, send by rail which would take 30 days or wait two weeks to have everything shipped at once which we ended up having to do because their trucker wouldn't take just the vehicle, he had to have the full load. After receiving my items, they all stunk of mildew. We had to throw out tons of clothes. And after waiting months for their insurance guy to call me back and constantly ignoring my emails, a new person has been assigned. They informed me that my two tvs they damaged are not being covered because nobody checked to see if they were in working order before they were sent and they will not cover my mattress that they burned a hole in because I do not have a receipt for it. After spending thousands in storage and insurance coverage, this is what you can expect from this company.

Used this company when I moved last year. They were professional, showed up exactly when expected, were quick, took extra steps to make sure furniture and walls were protected they even took the extra time to put pieces together and remove an extra couch that wouldn't fit in the apartment. With another move coming this summer, called the owner who had lots of great advice about preparing for the move as well as what to expect if we decide to hire the company again. Very happy with the service!

The reason I picked East Coast Moving is they are associated with Allied Van Lines under SIRVA Canada. The company has always shown complete professionalism when it comes to moving Household Effects whether it is a Government move or a private move. My driver for the move was a guy named Fred who is a totally true professional. The move from New Brunswick to Ottawa went extremely well. The HHE was loaded and Unloaded very efficiently and the Transit Time Guides were met at both ends. The helpers in New Brunswick and Ottawa were very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend East Coast moving to anybody moving their HHE as you couldn't experience a better move with any other company. Thanks to Roger and Fred for everything. We used East Coast Movers for our last move in September. They showed up over an hour late. The lead mover YELLED at me that our new apartment was a “hell hole”, because the parking was difficult. He later made a sexual comment to a family friend, told us to use a different mover next time and then capped off the day with a racist joke. When we shared this with the company we received a full refund, which was appreciated. We were also assured that the employee in question would be dealt with and that no one else would have this experience.

Roger met with us virtually, and was very thorough with his estimate so there were no surprises when we received the final bill -- it actually ended up being a bit lower than quoted. Very happy to have chosen East Coast Moving for my move from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland. I was contacted quickly by Roger after initiating online, and the virtual walk-through of my home was easy. The quote came in lower than other companies and the final shipment even lower. Roger answered all questions and was very accessible throughout the entire process, and was particularly helpful is assisting me in setting up my vehicle shipment as well with a third party. My house was quickly packed and the movers were great on both ends of the move, shipment arrived less than a week to destination. I had booked east coast movers to help me with my move, was told we would confirm on time closer to the date and was not informed at the time that they could not accomodate varying schedules. I am now left 2 weeks out from the closing of my house with no movers and unsure what to do as a single woman moving mid week. Unfortunate that they are not able to be more accomodating at such a busy time for people. I have heard good things about the service but wish there was more communication at the time of booking as they have really left me in a tough spot.
