Use these idiots if you want serious cruelty involved in the removal of "pest" creatures. These clowns went out to Home Depot and crushed baby birds in 3 nests thinking the adults would leave. FAIL, they have not left and this is unnecessary abuse. Do these "professionals" actually know what they are doing or simply use blunt force trauma in any situation? There are alternatives, move the nests a few km away, net the adults and move them out to where the nests are and let nature take its course.

Our local rep in PEI, Rob Wright, is a pleasure to deal with. He explains the issues clearly and carries out the solutions thoroughly. However, the Orkin customer service department is a nightmare to deal with. First, you can't dial the 902 area code department if you are calling from 905 or other area codes. You keep getting bumped to the national line where they tell you you have to call the PEI number. Finally someone told me Orkin set it up that way. Apparently, it has never occurred to Orkin that people in other parts of Canada own vacation homes in PEI. After many tries, I finally reached someone in what I thought was PEI customer service. It turned out to be Halifax but hey, close enough. I was trying to resolve an inadvertent double payment. This person's attitude screamed that she did not care one bit about my problem. She certainly did not care enough to get back to me that it was resolved. I only found out when I received my next invoice and the credit was on it. If the local PEI rep was not such a pleasure to deal with I would have dumped these guys long ago.

Showed up quickly to address our ant issue. Applied indoor treatment fairly promptly, accepted payment and then left with the promise to return when the weather was warmer to apply the more critical treatment around the perimeter of the house. Never heard from them again. The indoor treatment did have good effect but we paid for a complete program. This seems to have been a communications issue. Within hours of my post, Orkin called and the exterior treatment was applied the next morning. Apparently the technician went on holiday without telling me there would be a delay. Bottom line - no more ants.

Robert Wright is our rep and had been for many years from his previos employer . I can't say enough good things about him. Really knows his stuff and goes above and beyond. We had to go with out him for a couple of years and had many issues . Now that we have him back hope to keep him for many more years . Really good with prevention and if there is an issue he is right on top of it.
