Nobody comes to deliver. I call back at the end of the day to find out what is happening. The receptionist checks and tells me that the delivery will be made within the next 15 minutes; that the truck is near my house. No delivery. We are the next day and I am still waiting. Terrible service, swing delivered to wrong address. Only picked up a week later after many calls on it. Driver said it was an easy mistake to mix up civic addresses??? Do not order anything important to have delivered in the Annapolis Valley, you may not get it. No one at Day and Ross would discuss with me why it took 6 days to return to the store even though they had the return number 3 days before. Do not use them. Not dependable at all.

Lost 2 seperate shipments, months apart from one another. First one took them days to find, second one never even made it past their Thorburn loading docks before it was "not dropped off" or existant to them, even after fighting with the front desk lady for 45 minutes for a BOL from them not just a sticker on the one we supplied.

Their staff are always willing to assist when needed and they can easily be reached. We have been using Day and Ross for the last 5 years to ship goods direct to customers and to our various warehouse in Canada. Every week, Day and Ross assists our business in delivering Great Service to our customers. With their vast network of trucks and facilities, they have been able to deliver our goods from Coast to Coast with great efficiency. It is also a very rare occasion that we ever receive any deliveries with damages. Our goods are packaged properly for shipping, which results in them arriving undamaged 99.9% of the time.

I am 67 with a bad back and a bad shoulder. They were delivering the pool table 7 days early so I only had one guy to help get it to the house. The lazy SOB of a driver wouldn't help move it up two small steps onto my porch. I had told them I couldn't lift anything when they called about the delivery. They left my pool table in a snow bank. I wouldn't hire these lazy SOBs to haul anything. They couldn't care less about their customer.

I came home yesterday to a double wide commercial fridge and freezer, left outside, 10 feet from my garage door. We operate Winsloe Farm Market and being essential food service workers we needed larger equipment to be able to continue to provide good service to our lcustomers. My heart dropped when I called the company and was told once a driver leaves we don't send them back. Also was told because of Covid delivery guys ate not able to take my fridge freezer into the house. I called Omni Foods and let them know what happened. 1 hour later Martin from McInnis showed up and put the fridge and freezer inside the garage door. I never write a negative review and concentrate on positive as much as possible. Everything worked out.

I had a parcel delivered today, there was no knock on the door, no nothing. The parcel was just left in a snow bank in a cardboard box. Come on use your head it's a cardboard box in a snow bank, how can you think this is ok. No respect for customers packages whatsoever. I'd give 0 stars if it was an option.

They lack logistical expertise and organizational skills Wouldn't trust them to deliver pizza. Downside is Home Depot uses them and if you ever want your order delivered on time expect it won't be. If Home Depot keeps using them you are best to shop at a different building supply store.

Terrible idea to ship anything with these guys. My package got delivered a month late, when it showed up (a new tv) there were holes in the box, 1 went through the box hit the tv and shattered the entire front of it. And dont bother trying to hold them accountable to damaged items while shipping,

Day and Ross lost my package twice and delivered it to the wrong city. When it finally arrived, it was 15 days late. Throughout the delivery the tracking number was never available. I called customer service at least a dozen times, they were not helpful, never returned my phone calls, and forgot me on hold.

Very poor service. Every time I asked Dsy & Ross to call me upon delivery, they never do. Very rude on the phone and the driver is even worse. Last time he got upset because I didn't help him unload a skid which weight over 1000 lbs. (Not my job my friend) Can not recommend.

Expensive delivery, poor service and very slow. Items were in town for 4 days before they delivered and were already 2 days late on arrival in town. The delivery driver refused to bring to the door or even help me bring to door he simply said it wasn't his job which infuriated me. For the fee that is paid they should at least assist you in bringing to your door not just drop in your driveway leave. The delivery before they wouldn't even bring to our driveway they went to the end of our street and we had to try and pick up in our vehicle. How is this considered delivery services?
