I contacted Cavendish and Country for a quote for a move from London to Oxford, a good few weeks in advance of our moving date. Had a long (45minish) facetime with them which involved showing them our property and contents. Was told they would come back to me with a quote - which was never received. I sent a follow up email after a few days of silence - and heard nothing back from that either. Unprofessional.

We are so impressed by our experience with Cavendish & Country, from start to finish. The initial quotation call with Nick, and Clare's communication throughout, was clear, quick, and friendly. The pre-move admin was made effortless by the team, and removed a lot of that moving stress. On the day, our removal men, Richard, Damian and Martin, arrived early, and were professional and careful with all of our items. They took initiative, and we felt we could sit back and relax while everything took place. We had some large expensive items that they had to pack; they took great care, and all items arrived in good condition. The parking situation on the delivery side wasn't ideal, but the team worked through it (very professional) and found ways around the problem. Will definitely use this company again, and would 100% recommend to others.

Cavendish&Country took the stress out of our move. The team arrived the day before moving day and we so efficient. They dismantled beds, furniture and carefully wrapped all of our fragile items (mirrors, ornaments, pictures, kitchen, TVs) and much more! Then the next day everything was placed in the right room and reassembled. Everything survived the move in tact, thanks to extra careful packing. They were also super friendly and just generally so helpful, I would recommend Cavendish&Country to anyone planning a move.

With relatively short notice before our move, I got in touch with Cavendish & Country on the recommendation of a friend. They were excellent from start to finish. They got me booked in within a day or two for a FaceTime call with Nick to provide a quotation for our move. Nick and Clare were quick and responsive in providing quotations for various removal options, in answering my follow-up questions and in getting me booked in. The box delivery and the move itself also went very smoothly and really took out a lot of stress from an otherwise stressful process. The team who did our move, Mark and Cristian, were super efficient and friendly and handled our stuff with care. It also didn't hurt that they offered more flexible removal options and were better value for money than a couple of the other places that I got quotes from. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone for their next move :).

My husband and I moved about a month before lockdown in London and despite only giving Cavendish and Country a week’s notice, they were most accommodating. The two friendly gents arrived early and finished within the quoted time, incredible as we managed to fill the truck and our new flat was up 2 narrow flights! Fantastic, professional and friendly.

We had a great experience being moved by Cavendish & Country from Clapham out to Gerrards Cross. The moving process was very clearly described in advance. The team were on time and worked very efficiently to pack up our house. Our possessions were carefully handled and nothing was broken in transit. The team took care to ensure that each box or item went to the right room in the new house, and helped with things like putting beds back together that would have taken us ages! All in all a surprisingly stress free process and I would not hesitate to recommend Cavendish & Country to anyone planning a move.

Followed the driver of this vehicle home tonight at 5pm in Tooting, in the space of 1 mile he managed to nearly collide with 2 cars, used his horn a number of times, pulled away at speed and ran a red light. Wouldn't want a company like that transporting my furniture. There's no guarantee it would make it back in one piece! Reply to owner response below: Whilst I appreciate you need to stick by your employee and company reputation, I can only go by what I witnessed in person. When a driver is in a vehicle with your company name on, he is representing the company. I didn't say he was speeding, I said he pulled away at speed which is different. And there was no harsh braking recorded, as the other 2 cars had to brake. Whilst it's good you have telematics, it can't tell you his behaviour in person, that he used his horn or that he ran a red light. In any case thanks for responding.

Cavendish have just moved us from Wandsworth to Horsham. It was exemplary. Super efficient and really pleasant bunch of guys who put in a massive extra shift when completion took longer than expected. I’d recommend them especially because if there are any hiccups they are in a position to be flexible. Extremely good. Can’t be faulted. Good value too.

Nick was super helpful in getting it all set up and the team of packers did a great job at both ends, including dismantling & re-setting up furniture. C&C also organised for our belongings to be stored temporarily between our two houses. From beginning to end, the service received from Cavendish has been excellent and I'd strongly recommend them to people moving home, particularly if you're short on time in the run up to moving. I had a video call with Nick to discuss the items to be moved and he was quick to recommend the size of team required and to provide a quote. The team arrived promptly on the day of the move and were efficient at packing and labeling boxes, which was completed by lunchtime. We met at the new property after lunch and unloading was finished faster than I expected. In conclusion, Cavendish took much of the stress out of moving and were great value. I wouldn't hesitate in using them again or recommending to others.

Definitely the A team of removals. We've used another popular SW London firm and although decent, there was literally no comparison. These guys were like machines and extremely organised yet friendly and personable. Its always stressful moving with a young family but the team looked after us really well and wasted no time yet packed carefully with extremely good labelling so unpacking the other end was so much easier than prior experiences. They made sure all our furniture was positioned where we wanted it and nothing seemed to phase them. Couldn't recommend more! Oh and they were cheaper than the other quotes we had
