Emmanuel got me out of great big jam, when the outfit I had booked with tried to take advantage of a last minute change, when I canceled with them and called Bargain movers he sent two crews with two trucks and had us moved in five hrs with a great price to boot , thanks a heep Emmanuel and thanks to two great crews , they were fast , funny and made the move better than they usually are, Again thank you and will always recommend Bargain movers.

Emmanuel called me on behalf of Bargain Movers and had a poor attitude from the start of the conversation. Absolutely not professional and when I asked him to email the quote he said he would "text" it, sorry but as a business practice email is the most professional form of communication. He then didn’t even forward the quote via email or text. Would NOT recommend this business. UPDATE: Since the owner responds that text message is best for all parties.... well this party explicitly asked you to email and you DID NOT, therefore clearly UNPROFESSIONAL.????

They were awesome! Showed up on time and they quickly packed the truck. Strapped in the large delicate items, shrink wrapped everything and after many moves with many professional movers as we moved with RCMP, this was our best! Not even a dish broken. Guys were happy, upbeat, very strong and even moved my small freezer still packed with food. They checked in with their boss who sent an extra crew to help unload. They set up my beds, placed the furniture where I needed it and worked steady. I recommend them to anyone doing a move

I don't recommend. The move took twice as long as the quoted. So instead of it taking 3-4 hrs to move a 2 bedroom apartment it took over 7 hrs. I even took apart my large furniture ahead of the move & it still took this long. 3 pieces of furniture got broken & my kitchen table got chipped as well. They only had to move me 5 min down the road so it's amazing that they manged to break that much & take so long. If you're moving a house it'll probably take them 2 days.

Called this company at 4:30pm on a Friday night when we found out we needed to do a rush move to NS that weekend. Originally were booked with another company for $1,000 more for Monday but borders were closing so had to get there asap and original company couldn't change it to the weekend. I am not going to lie, I was nervous as I was talking to the owner via text (while he was busy working at his other non-moving job). I was nervous as he doesn't send paperwork/contract/quote or maybe normally he does but not because this was a rush, then wanted 1/2 the money upon pick up (which I understand) but I didn't even know if we would see our furniture or if this was some type of scam to get money/belongings (sorry but there's so many out there nowadays). The team who was about to go home and start their weekend, changed gears and were art our home within an hour and loaded up the truck with everything. It was a whirlwind as you can imagine as we weren't done packing etc. They did say it was going to cost a little more than quoted on phone however that was fair as he was only going with some of the pictures I had sent. As we couldn't be there when they were unloading in NS it was a bit of a mess walking into HOWEVER there was no one there in our home to help direct where things should go. Sadly one of our pieces of furniture was broken but again was this because they had an older gentleman helping unload and had lack of helpers (this was because of the last minute move on our end), so I will gladly give 5 stars because they SAVED OUR BUTTS! I don't know what we would have done if they weren't willing to come right then and help us, honestly they were amazing and didn't just say no. Thank you Bargain Movers!!!!

When they shove everything into the truck you can guarantee that there will be damage (which they don't take responsibility for). worst experience ever!!! never again, they left a bunch of boxes that literally covered all the entrance as a fire hazard, they damaged my 800$ dresser, they said 25$ was enough to cover the damage. they were supposed to be there at 8 arrived late, we asked if they were gonna move the boxes out of the stair case way and they said they would then didn't so we asked agian and they said it was too hot, we have A/C in our apartment its freezing inside here, I went outside before they left to confront them and said I was gonna leave a bad review so the guy gave me the finger so gave it back went inside to get my boyfriend and went back outside and my bf asked which one gave the finger and Shane said it was him, he then proceeded to tell me that if we had an issue to call the number on the truck, plus he tried flirting with my bestfriend when she was alone(kept calling her cute and looking at her) he's 33, she's 17 she even told him this. worst place ever, would rather of moved everything myself then have this all happen, i havent even opened any boxes yet hoping nothing is broken. I would give this 0 stars if I could, save your money and time and energy.

Mike was very professional and quickly loaded the debris and he even swept the walkway where the debris was located when he was done. So we call them to move two wooden wardrobes. Once they arrive they complain that it's so heavy and made the homeowner feel terrible. I showed up after being called by the homeowner. I had to actually teach them how to get the items out of the house as I am a mover myself . They didn't use a ramp or have the right tools for the job. I explained that on the other end it was a straight shot into the basement. They didn't even try. They left both items in the driveway and demanded payment . I had to show up the next day and brought them downstairs with my girlfriend. I called the owner and he basically gave me the whole " I can't be everywhere " speel. Then ended off with " well maybe I won't move these types of cabinets anymore " People if they can't do those. Don't trust them with your stuff. I paid them and literally had to do the work on both ends. Terrible service .

Do NOT use them. I made a reservation to move a home locally. Everything seemed fine. A few days after I thought I'd reserved a date, I called to pay the deposit and was told that he had already sent me an e-mail with the particulars on how to pay. I said I would check my e-mail for such a message then pay it. I wanted him to call me regardless after he was out of the meeting he was in. He said that it was getting too complicated. During that phone call, he told me to find another moving company. What?? Really?? Yes, that's EXACTLY what happened -- no more and no less. I didn't leave anything out or misstate what happened.

I called these guys at 9 am to move a couch for me that was left at the end of a drive way in my rental property. By 2:30 the couch was gone!!! As well, wonderful service. Emmanuel was good to deal with initially. I had a specific piece of furniture (sofa) that I cared about and made that clear. He gave me good instructions to wrap it in industrial saran wrap. I went a little further than that and actually put a plastic cover on, then wrapped it from all angles, making sure I had several layers of coverage on the corners. When my stuff arrived everything was fine except my sofa, which was damaged on all sides. The wood was gouged in several areas and the stitching was coming out of the leather on one corner. It was pretty clear that the guys had just dragged my sofa along the ground. I sent a message (with photos) to Emmanuel as soon as I saw it. He didn't respond for 3 days so I put a negative review on Google. Within an hour of the review going up he responded to my concerns. Turns out there is insurance of $0.65 per pound. That equates to $50 for the significant damage done to my $2500 sofa. I spent more than that on the materials to prepare for the move. Here's the kicker though. He said he'd only send me the money if I took down my negative review!!! I'm not sure if that's legal, but it's certainly not ethical and goes a long way to explaining his 4.8 star rating.

I hired Bargain Movers this past weekend for our move and with no hesitation I would do it all over again with no regrets. I had Luc and his coworker all day Saturday (7 hours). They had to do a lot of up and down the stairs with big furniture/tights corners and no damage done at all. You could tell these guys had lots of experience and actually loved what they were doing. We used Bargain movers to move from Moncton to Halifax. We had called one of the bigger companies and all we got was an inflated quote and a run around as to when they thought they could move us- so we called Bargain Movers. There simply are not enough stars to rate the high caliber of service we recieved from this smaller but mighty company! From start to finish we were given top notch service from Dave and Marc. My husband was concerned about the move as we were moving sentimental items from his family home after his mother's passing- every item was handled with great care and all arrived safe and sound. They went above and beyond. My only complaint is that they are not located in Halifax as I would use them and only them for all my moving and transporting needs! They even reassebled. WITH GREAT CARE, our antique itms that had not been moved for over 30 years not a single scratch or ding- even the bone China arrive intact! I wish all movers could be like Bargain Movers!

We drove down with two cars and and 18 wheeler transport truck full to the brim with stuff, approx. 17 hours in two days. Never again. Used them to move from an apartment to a house. Some damage to furniture. Moving blankets in a pile on the ground and not on furniture. Because of the size of the truck sent a second trip was needed. I did agree to the truck size as it was cheaper. In between trips they left our sofa in the lobby of the apartment because it would not fit in the truck. At the end of the second trip we noticed 2 end tables were missing. When we asked about them we were told they were left in the lobby. Not sure why as there was plenty of room on the truck. When I returned to the apartment they were there, 1 of them in pieces. They only pay by the weight of the damaged item regardless of the value. They broke the casters off our coffee table and tried to cover it up by lying about and putting it back on which made it worse. They offered us $100 in compensation but only if we signed a waiver saying we would not post anything on social media. Not even so much as an apology. Very disappointing. Don't expect to hear from owner because of the reviews I have seen he only replies to positive reviews
