I had to move the contents of my elderly mother's condo to two places. Some of the items went to her place and some came to my place. I was especially worried about a large oak dining room table and hutch being damaged in the move. It was handled with utmost care and transported unscathed. The guys were very flexible and helpful, able to make adjustments as needed - definitely service oriented crew. They even made a second trip to drop off items to my home that my mother decided she didn't want to keep at her new place. They were great. Friendly, helpful and efficient. I would definitely use Clarke's for my next move.

My wife and I just moved from Courtenay to Vixtoria. The movers showed up promptly at 8:30 like they had promised. They had 5 workers assigned and were done in an hour. An extremely well organized team! The next day Christian and Nathan showed up at 9:00 like they said they would. They unloaded the truck in no time and put our belongings in storage in a very organized fashion so we can access in the future. Well done Clarke's Moving! This could be a funny/ironic thing to say, because I/we don't like moving. And - it was an absolutely amazing experience. The team came a few days before the moving day, to pack some of the more breakable things. At least, this is what we thought. They ended up packing most of the stuff. On the moving day, they packed the rest. And, even though we somehow ended up with a LOT of stuff, their packing was unbelievable - at least a Ph.D. in Tetris, as to how they were able to pack the truck with all our belongings. Then there was all the professional side of things, like showing up on time, packing fragile things in an amazingly safe way, delivering everything perfectly, including a fully stacked deep freezer. A BIG Thank You for making our move such an amazingly easy experience!

The crew showed up early (for both ends of the move), they quickly formulated their work plan then went to work in a organized fashion, barely spending a moment to catch their breathe throughout the day(s). We recently sold our house and needed to have movers come and move our stuff into storage for a month, before we take possession of our new place. We have used other movers in the past, and had nothing but terrible service with the movers we used previously. So we were very impressed when Clarke Movers showed up. From the initial meet with Jason, to see how much stuff we had to move, we knew we were in good hands. He was so easy to deal with and put our minds at ease with the stess of moving. Then when moving day came, everything that Jason said would happen, did. They showed up exactly when they said they would. All 3 of the movers were very curteous and professional. They joked around with my 21 month old baby, which helped me out so much. They wrapped every piece of furniture that we had. They covered our rugs so our carpets wouldn't get dirty. They managed to fit all of our stuff into the truck without hesitation or worry. Everything was done efficiently and properly. They fit everything into the storage unit and nothing was damaged in the process. Its a weight off knowing that they are moving us out of storage and into our new home in just a couple weeks now, and I have no doubt that it will go just as smoothly. Ours was a two-part move with Clarke's Household Moving. One was from our home on the Sunshine Coast to a Cumberland storage locker where our possessions sat until we found a home six months later on Gabriola Island. I cannot say enough about the service provided by Clarke's Household Moving. They made a stressful experience so much easier with their very careful packing, moving, and unpacking (twice, in our case). During renovations, I hired these guys to move a heavy old piano from one room to another (this was a 750 lb piano and one step between the rooms). 3 of them came and listened to my specifications to put it on a piece of plywood and then moved it through a doorway carefully after removing the door protecting the floor as it was lowered over the step. The return was just as good and they were able to squeeze us in to a very tight schedule as they were very busy, and the next opportunity would have been 3 weeks later. From the ladies I spoke to in the office to Jason and his crew, thank you so much. Great work.

We only had a short move of a couple kms and had sold a lot of our furniture to the buyer of our existing property so we didn't have a lot to move but that didn't seem to make any difference to the quality of service we received. The guys were on time pleasant and they all introduced themselves and took a lot of care placing runners on the floors before moving anything. Everything was well wrapped and protected. They worked quickly and carefully both loading and unloading. The move took exactly the time they had estimated (4 hours) and the final cost was also exactly as estimated. Good honest service. We were very happy, good job guys.
