Usually get my stuff shipped here for pick up and I always get this rude and nasty lady and the last time she refused to give me my package. Luckily someone competent came along and listened to me and gave me my property. Other than that lady the staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend getting your packages shipped to a different pick up location tho maybe the one on the other side of town.

I am in complete shock at how this location operates. I have ordered online from a site called wish. I pay for these items and so far I have 6 packaged orders delivered to destination Dalhousie, NB. 1 order was given without a id requirement, no signature, no transit#, or no questions. Someone picked it up and told me it was her who took 1 package. Thing is they also took 6 others which arrived 2 days earlier and told me she only recieved 1 package? Is it not illegal to give packages sealed from canada post to just anyone? Is it not illegal to open anyones mail? Guess not in Dalhousie, NB. I had 1 package delivered to Campbellton, Nb and I had to give my mom permission and item transit number. About 30 mins or less canada post sent an email confirming it was picked up. 20 mins away must be a whole other world. Now im fighting with companies over packages whose error is it? Not mine but im paying. Horrible customer service...

No one ever answers the phone and there is nowhere to leave a message. I haven't been receiving my mail properly for over a year now. Important documents having to be sent up to 4 times by companies because we haven't received any. Legal documents not coming in on time from a town over. Birthday cards 2 years in a row not showing up and only coming from Toronto. Why? Why can't you just deliver my mail on time?!

Expect the minimum from everyone working at Canada post, even Robert the GM as been MIA since covid. Working from “home”. We ship 25-50 packages a day and he’s to “busy” to give people a call back. If you think your single packages is worth the hassle think a gain. I’m out over 1.3K in revenue in two months because of people like him and things are managed at the higher level. Rob we’ve contacted our local MPP and media source. Maybe you’ll take time to reply to them, you incompetency is costing everyone Money.

recently I tried to mail a letter in a Canada Post mailbox on Francis Rd, It was locked to outgoing mail. Then I tried to mail a letter in a Canada post mail box on Merecroft, it was overflowing with mail. Is there pick up at the Merecroft mailbox and if there isn't postal pickup, why is there no notification on these boxes?

I rarely write negative reviews, but I felt compelled to write one of the Campbell River Canada Post office after I had a horrible experience with them. Sometimes one's patience becomes worn out, and my patience with Canada Post has run out to the point I absolutely will not use them anymore for packages or shipments where time is important. I was expecting a package from California to Campbell River. On 12/19, the package was listed as being in Campbell River and the status was "Item out for delivery"; however, shortly afterwards, the status was updated as "Verifying recipient's address; Possible delay". I thought that was odd, so I phoned the sender back in California to confirm the address which was indeed correct. So, I went down to the local Campbell River Canada Post's office to see what was going on and to solve this issue. I even printed out the tracking log information off the website to show the front-desk agents which details the status of where my parcel went. The lady at the counter went back to the storage room and did not find my parcel. She stated to me that "no supervisor was in today" and that they will be in the next morning to help me out. She even took down my phone number and promised me that the supervisor will contact me the next day. I thought "How nice. Someone will get to the bottom of this and help me out.". She stated she will place the tracking log paper that I gave her on her supervisor's desk, so that it "will be the first thing the supervisor sees when they arrive next morning " (her exact words). However, I never received a phone call the next day, so I visited the CP office again on the same day and spoke with another lady who once again stated to me that "no supervisor is in today". Now wait a minute, the other agent told me yesterday that a supervisor would be in today. Once again, she made an empty promise that someone will phone me tomorrow and that my tracking log paper "will be the first thing the supervisor sees in the morning" (again, exact words). Yet, low and behold, nobody contacted me the next day. Great. I tried phoning Canada Post's customer service phone line to find out the problem with my package and why it hasn't been delivered, but it is impossible to get ahold of any agent. Instead, you get automated messages which are useless. I was told over the phone the wait time is over ten minutes to speak to an agent. I waited 2 hours and could not get ahold of any customer service agent, so I gave up and hanged up the phone. By this time, I was getting frustrated. Then on 12/22, I learned through the Canada Post tracking webpage that my package was now in Richmond, BC at YVR being sent back to the States despite the fact that it was already right here in Campbell River. If only someone at the Campbell River Post office would have phoned me back, or if I was able to get ahold of an agent over the phone, this could've been prevented. I really needed this package in time for important work-related purposes. All in all, the customer service at the Campbell River's office is shady and awful. They like to make empty promises that go nowhere. They promised me that a supervisor would contact me to figure out what happened to my package, but I received no phone call. I feel the front-desk agents at this office will tell you what you want to hear with little or no action just to get you out of the door. On top of that, it is impossible to get ahold of anyone on their phone line. Shame on you Canada Post. Thanks a lot for screwing me over. I will never use your service again, and I will be sure to use FedEx or UPS next time. And I will be sure to tell everyone in town about your crappy service and to not recommend the Campbell River Canada Post Office. *UPDATE*= I ordered the package through UPS and they had no problems delivering the package to my door unlike you guys. So, it is worth it to pay the extra cost to ship UPS then to depend on Canada Post which is rife with incompetence.

In the mad Christmas rush I accidentally put the wrong amount of postage on a letter to the US. I realized my mistake and ran back in, thinking I would be told there's nothing they could do about it. To my pleasant surprise the employee took the time to find the letter, confirm my mistake and allowed me to put another stamp on it. I've gone in many times since, since I work around the corner and have been mailing some products, and they're always friendly and helpful. I see them being patient with other customers and listening to what they need. The lineups have been long but they go quick and employees will politely tell you too wait outside if it's too crowded in there. Nothing but good experiences here for me. So thank you!
