Dear Sir: I want to thank Bekins for an excellent job moving me from Cordova Bay to Sidney. Everything was perfectly done, and I would like to mention a few names. First, Barb came to do an inventory in April, then again later when I explained I had got rid of many things. She was so pleasant, encouraging and positive. She represented Bekins very well. The teams I had for pickup and delivery were Antonio, Thomas, Jon and Viktor. They were all high energy, cheerful and clearly enjoying their job. The two team leaders (on pickup and delivery) were outstanding. I hope you appreciate how they encouraged their team and managed things so well. They both had exceptional interpersonal skills. I enjoyed watching the banter and how they got things done. (Well done to the perceptive person who hired them, too!) I will have no problem mentioning who the best movers are in the Victoria and Peninsula area. Thank you to all. Joan Foster

Move was great they were fast and friendly. Only thing was I had a quote for 6 hours and 3 guys. All said and done it took them just under 5 hours and it cost more than the quote

Moving during Covid: Yikes! What terrible timing. I can't say enough about the excellent service provided to us by Bekins Moving and Storage out of Kelowna. We were out of country when Covid hit and were unable to attend the process in person. Shannon from Bekins met our realtor and provided an estimate which was very close to what we expected. The office was extremely accommodating and quick to respond to my questions and concerns of which there were many given the timing of the move. For various reasons relating to the pandemic we had to make changes to both the packing and moving dates and to the delivery dates. No problem! Everyone was polite, helpful, efficient, and accommodating - Shannon, Dawn in the office, Les, the dispatcher and Goeff, the driver and boss of the delivery crew and the members of the delivery crew themselves as they unloaded our belongings for us once we made it to Vancouver Island. This company is professional, efficient and excellent value for the money. I hope we don't have to move for a very long time but if we do we will definitely call Bekins. I can recommend Bekins Moving and Storage without reservation.

Highly recommend - The company I work for used Bekins for a large commercial move, and their team was fantastic! They were fast, and careful.. It was a super long day, and there was not one single complaint. Would use Bekins again.

I used Bekins to move my son and I from Sooke BV to Radium Hot Springs BC in June 2021. Several item were damaged and i submitted a claim for about $1000.00 as they requested. .Never heard from them again. Thanks Bekins.

Way over a dozen moves and this is the best company I have ever dealt with. Awesome crew packed and loaded and the same stellar service from the crew unloading into storage! They were great to put things I needed at the front of the locker … totally unlike any other move I have ever done. I will use them again in a heartbeat!

When Skip came into quote our place - I asked him to quote with everything in our home. I knew that I would be taking a few loads on our own - but I wanted the worst case scenario. He seemed detailed and was nice at the time. He said he went high. Yes high, twice as much as the other companies that were quoting. I felt he was more detailed and actually used a computer to record the items. I had also heard great reviews about Bekins. So I went with them. Once we confirmed we were using Bekins - Skip's responses we just short. I asked him the size of truck he was sending - he said 5 ton. He also said they would bring me seven wardrobes. We took multiple SUV loads as well we rented a 15ft U haul for one trip and took two loads in a 9 foot U haul van. So... you would think my items would fit in the truck he was sending. Nope, we had to give away stuff last minute and fill our SUV full. Also they only brought 2 wardrobes and had to sent for more. The movers themselves were nice and polite. However, my favourite Pottery Barn lamp was broken. Lol, the mover said it was already broken. It was the concrete base to weight the floor lamp - it was completely broken - crumbly mess. So it was already broken - a crumbly mess - you would think in my bedroom where it was standing and even where he wrapped it - there would be bits of concrete. Nope - nothing. Also our garage fridge ended up with a dent. Which I didn't see as the lighting in our new garage was dim. When the new lights went in, I could see the dent. Oh, I almost forgot, I have a white slip cover sofa. Thank goodness it is a slip cover sofa - so I could wash it. Everything was supposed to be wrapped. Black hand prints everywhere. Bottom line, I would not use or recommend Bekins. I didn't complain to the company about the lamp and freezer as I felt it might be held against the mover himself. You just had that feeling if they had a claim it might not be good for them.

Wow. Super surprised. They moved my dad and showed up 8 days late with many many promises along the way. Then because we were upset with the lateness then demanded cash before starting unloading and promised some help after from management. )Also my dad paid for unpacking and they left 95% of the items in the garbage and left.) Also promised a retuned call from management but heard nothing. Called today and the lady answering the phone said no need to return call because my dad will get NO money back. Have been promised another call from Lori when she returns to work. Not 100% how to response to Lori so I will play here. We did ask for a call back many times and even Domonic talked to someone from Campbell River that would not talk to us directly but promised that you would return our call. Then when I called the office last week the lady answering the phones said why would Lori call you back you do not get a refund so not need to return the calls. And that a note of my dad file said no refund needed. And I ask for a return call here also and still haven’t received one. But you did find time to response here. On the unloading answer - did Domonic not tell you in his report that he didn’t unload? He told us he made a note about it. For the record I have hear nothing but great things about Bekins and was the one who suggested it to my dad to use.

We had a small local move which was handled wonderfully by Bekins. No complaints at all. Would use them again for sure.
