Called Big League at the last minute and they were there in an hour. Guys were great! whole move took perhaps 1 and 1/2 hours. I highly recommend them as they're quick and professional but more importantly, honest......

Not only did he have to wait on the closing as it got pushed back but he was very prompt in getting his team assembled fast once it did, and worked late into the evening. Absolutely fantastic. Had a terrible experience with previous movers and these guys made my move so quick and easy. Moving was extremely stressful and once they got there everything went so quick and easy I was instantly able to relax. They were extremely polite, clean and professional. I cannot say enough good things about them. Nothing came out broken, they wrapped up delicate items and took very good care of everything. They moved very heavy and fragile items carefully and with ease. They arrived to the new place quickly too and were more than fair in their billing. We will be using them again for our next move next year.

This was my first time using Big League Movers but definitely not my last. We didn't have too many large pieces of furniture like a lot of customers, but we had a LOT of boxes. Lawrence and his team put every box in the correct room. For us this was a really big plus. Also, they were very careful of our freshly painted walls and didn't damage anything. I have already recommended Big League Movers to friends!

I was excited for the opportunity to move with this company, as I was piggy backing on another person's move. A facebook ad was posted from someone moving to the town I was moving from, and I was able to pick up the moving truck for the way back. Jackson gave me a great deal for the move. The movers were professional, did their job quickly, and efficiently, and all things arrived on time, and in good condition. I didn't send any breakables with them, I chose to put those in my own car for the move. The four stars are because the date was changed last minute, although Jackson explained that this was due to the other movers, not in fact Big League Movers changing the date. There was also some confusion on the price of the move, but Jackson honoured our agreed price, and left me feeling taken care of in the end. I would recommend this company.

We heard and read great reviewes about Big League and decided to go work with them for our move from Toronto to Kitchener. I received a call from Jackson shortly after I submitted an inquiry through their website. I was told that they would call again the week before the move to confirm details, we booked the time for the move during that call. I didn't receive a call the week before and the following day was a stat holiday so I reached out to Jackson. I expressed concern about how much we had to move, discussing in as much detail as I could, but was reassured that the vehicle they would use would be fine. We confirmed the 9:00 am timing for the move, all seemed in order. I wasn't on site for the move as I was taking care of our toddler. When my husband called me and said no one had arrived by 9:30 I contacted Jackson, assuming they were running behind. Jackson explained that there were two clients of the same name booked the same day and the move times had been mixed up and we could expect the movers for Noon. He apologized and told me that would discount the move. The movers arrived after 1:00. I tried to reach Jackson for updates on their timing but could not reach him while my husband and in-laws waited in Toronto. When the truck arrived, it was evident to my in-laws that the truck wouldn't accommodate everything in the house. A second truck was called. I was told (that the guys who took care of the move were exceptional and worked non-stop, on an incredibly hot summer day, to get everything packed up as fast as possible. They handled items carefully but worked effeciently. My husband and father-in-law also helped move boxes to help things along. Thank you!!!! I didn't hear from Jackson for the rest of the day to check in or provide updates on the second vehicle etc. We were emailed the invoice the following day and the charges were unclear. No call to explain so we reached out to Jackson again. He walked us through it and explained the charges. We were not charged for the additional vehicle or the additional time it took for the move. I had expected some additional cost reduction for our trouble, a gesture of goodwill, to acknowledge that the day had been very stressful. It wasn't offered though Jackson apologized and shared how badly he felt about the situation. The stars in this review go to the guys that took care of the move. No customer service, very poor communication and clearly poorly organized. Perhaps we were an anomaly as they do have great reviews. They might be your movers if you have a smaller, more local job.

If you or anyone you know is moving don't do all the work yourself! I highly recommend Big League Movers. I had a very smooth move from Bobcaygeon yesterday. Jackson and Nathan are two young guys, cousins actually, who started their own moving company last July. They are based in Cambridge and were prompt, quick and very careful with my belongings. Their price was very reasonable too! These guys were great!

We hired Big League Movers at very short notice (less than 12 hours). We had to transfer a storage container, move across towns and unload. They turned up on time, were very quick and efficient, and unloaded very safely. One of the owners was part of the moving team, and the whole team was very professional. The mover we had hired unexpectedly turned our move over to Big League moving company at the last minute. We did not know what to expect and were very nervous about this development. But we had no choice. Moving day came and we were amazed. We've moved often and never experienced such a caring professional hard working crew. They even took special care with 2 items we told them were not worth bothering about. When and if we move again we would only consider Big League movers and highly recommend them to anyone.

We were so happy with our move! Big League Movers went above and beyond, they were super friendly, and everything I asked them to do was "no problem"! I would absolutely use these guys again... Jackson and Seth treated our belongings as if it was their own. They took extra care wrapping our things in moving blankets to ensure their safety. Nothing was damaged, nor were our freshly painted walls marked! We messaged several moving company's - 8 in fact. And only 3 responded. Then we messaged Big League - they responded right away, as well as a follow up phone call. Their hourly rate was VERY competitive. Communication continued up until our move, as he answered my many questions expeditiously. Just give these guys a call!! You will be very happy you did!!

This company has been incredible to work with! They were responsive to phone calls and emails for scheduling and the scheduling issues my parents had! They were kind and contentious with my parents during the move. All items arrived safely and the guys worked their hardest to complete the move in a timely manner. What a wonderful company! Originally I was quoted $2400.00 for 4 guys and two trucks and told it would take approx 8 hrs which we were fine with. Everything started out great the guys were amazing but as the day pressed on Jackson advised that it was going to take much longer 12 hrs or so now. He also kept advising me that it would be better if we moved the paintings and mirrors and a bunch of other things ourselves. We hired movers so we wouldn’t have to move anything ourselves but what could I say. After 12 1/2 hrs the truck was unloaded and when it came time to pay Jackson said he know would prefer that I don’t pay by credit card which we had agreed upon as he has to pay a service charge so I wrote him a check. He also said I should give his boys a tip. I had planned on it anyway but should never have been told to do so. I found That to be very unprofessional. A few days later after unpacking a found some broken China and when I called Jackson about it he said sorry but we didn’t pack it so we are not responsible. Again very unprofessional. When speaking to some of my friends they were shocked at how much o was charged but there was nothing I could do after the move started. Jackson’s team is great too bad I can’t say the same about him

Big League Movers made our move to a city eight hours away so easy. They charged exactly within the price range they quoted, contacted us two weeks before and the day before the move to see if we needed extra packing materials (we did the packing ourselves), and they showed up on time. The two movers had our three bedroom house completely loaded in the moving truck within a couple hours, giving me plenty time to clean the house we were leaving. When we got to our new house, they put items exactly where we wanted them (and when I changed my mind they repositioned it!) I couldn't be happier with the service. Nothing was broken/lost/damaged. Big League Movers helped me out big time at the end of March. I had 5 very large and extremely heavy wardrobes to move. We had intended on moving them ourselves and had to do so in a short timeframe. When we realized we couldn't handle the move ourselves, Jackson at Big League Movers saved the day. I used big league movers to move from ayr to Timmins, needed all my belongings including a pickup truck that needed to be towed. I clearly informed them what was needed to be moved. They told me they'd send a 26' truck, I told them I didn't think that was enough as I had used a 50' trailer to move to this house, they said it was no problem. They showed up late on moving day, no communication why. They failed to use mattress bags as previously discussed and A LOT of stuff didn't fit on the truck. They say they can send it with another truck when they tow the pick up, apparently they were unable to schedule it same day. We leave for Timmins that day, moving truck is supposed to arrive the following day to at least unload mattresses to sleep on. The Truck failed to arrive, resulting in an additional hotel stay. The truck was supposed to arrive the following morning but they asked if it would be ok if they came at noon, I reluctantly agreed. They were unable to make it then either, they arrived at 4pm. The second truck arrived late as well, after they unloaded I realized they had forgotten a ton of stuff yet, so a third truck had to be sent. When my pick up arrived by tow truck we requested the driver line it up with one of the garage doors, he ignored our request, dropping it in the middle of the driveway, blocking the garage. I had to hire a tow truck to move it again. In addition to all that we now have a chair with a leg broke off, an ottoman with a leg almost broke off and damaged shelves. All we got was a sorry for the inconvenience. Would not recommend.

Great Movers!!!!!! I had to reschedule our original moving date, and Jackson was very accommodating, answering my call and texts very quickly. I had the move yesterday and it went amazing, nothing broke and they packed their truck very well. I have heard horrible stories about movers, breaking furniture and walls, so I was a little worried that it would happen to me too, but Big League Movers were amazing, They were very efficient and very friendly. We had three movers and it couldn't have gone any better. Big League Movers are very affordable. Totally recommend them if you are moving. 5*****

Horrible experience when hired to move 2 twin size beds. Even though they picked the actual move date at like 10 pm the night before the move I got a text saying that date no longer worked for them unless I paid more money. So I agreed to paying more, not much choice at that time, and the pick up time was arranged. Then on the planned move date there was a last minute time change, then less then an hr before they should have been there to pick up I get a text saying they again can't go. I was at least offered a discount for the hassle. The next day another last minute time change but finally the beds got picked up. When it came time to pay I was told I was getting a discount off the increased price that was brought up if I wanted them delivered on the origional day...which never happened. I was then told they had done everything to accommodate me and were going to lose money on the job , I guess it is the customers fault if they don't calculate quotes properly or don't plan for things like traffic. The only thing that happened like it was supposed to was the part where I paid....everything else was completely unreliable with zero concern about customer service or care. Edited to add...I was reconnected by the owner explaining the driver was tired on the one day and would have been unsafe. Obviously I do not expect someone to be unsafe this however still doesn't explain 2 full days of last min changes. For the record he did ask if he could do anything to make the situation better, at this point the only thing really possible would be to honor the offer of the discount. To that he did not reply at all, so not too concerned about making it better. I think that about says it all!

My family used Big League Movers to move us into our Guelph rental after a long trek from Manitoba. After giving us a really affordable price, they stuck to it. They arrived early, and were polite, helpful, organized and efficient, and took great care not to damage walls or drop anything. I marveled at how Jackson and Nathan were able to carry our massive extra-large Green Egg, which was set in a heavy hardwood table, with ease; when we loaded the Green Egg on the other end it took six of us; Big League did the same work on the receiving end with only two strong men. In short, Big League Movers was truly “big league”!
