I always say that you can see the true character of people when they don't know they're being watched (that could sound super creepy but stick with me here haha!). The Big Guy's Moving Co. team came into my photography studio this week for new headshots and I could list a whole ton of wonderful aspects of the experience but I'll keep it concise: -everyone arrived early and ready to go -every single one of the staff put their cups/mugs in the sink when they were done with them rather than leaving them around the studio (I expect people to leave their mug in whichever room they used it in, which most people do, but my studio manager specifically noted how thoughtful and courteous everyone was by doing this, and he's right!) -each of their staff were personable and professional throughout their shoot and in the lounge while waiting their turns I have had trouble finding a great moving company in the past and will no doubt give these guys a call next time I need help! We had Shane and the Big guys moving company to move in December. I can absolutely say they were a pleasure to deal with. He was great in communicating every part of the details and they arrived exactly on time with his team crew. Their crew was very friendly, professional, careful and fast. They made multiple trips during the day and were extremely friendly and cooperative throughout. They were hustling and working so hard we were feeling tired just watching them. We were a bit anxious about the move but they were so good that they made it smooth and quick. They were also reasonably priced for how hard they worked and the service that they offered. We had one glass piece that accidentally broke in the move and Shane took care of it. That speaks to how great they are to deal with. We were really happy with their service and I can whole heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for help moving. Two big thumbs up ????????!

We had a complicated move in a complicated time (thanks, COVID), and Shane, Katie, and their team were a bright star in it all! We were moving a storage unit full of stuff that hadn't been looked at in over a decade - meaning everyone was a bit fuzzy on the details of what and how much exactly was in there. Not only that, but it was to move the stuff from Ottawa to Kitchener, meaning a multi-day endeavour with no way of checking on things beforehand. Katie and Shane and their crew were wonderful to deal with. They answered all our questions, provided details of exactly when they would arrive for the load and unload, and they were punctual almost to the second! We noted that they treated everything as if it were their own stuff. We also had some pretty specific instructions on where everything should be placed at unload, and they were accommodating and had great attention to detail. On top of that, they were so pleasant to chat with throughout everything. Thanks so much - it's been a super stressful time and choosing Katie and Shane turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have made. PS, their price was not the cheapest quote we got... but it was 100% worthwhile for the quality of service we got!

Friendly, professional, and fast! I was nervous about hiring movers because you hear so many bad stories, but BIG Guy's Moving was INCREDIBLE! They arrived exactly on time and were exceptionally friendly and professional during the entire move. They were so careful with our furniture and all the boxes marked fragile. If you're going to trust people to handle all of your possessions - make it the BIG Guys!! When they arrived at the new house they covered all our flooring so nothing got dirty or scratched. We got a few quotes from movers and BIG Guys was the highest, but having experienced their EXCEPTIONAL service and care, it was worth every penny!! We went with them because we felt reassured that Shane would be there the whole time as the owner, and we wanted to support a local company rather than a big chain. Moving is so stressful, but these guys made it a dream and so smooth. Thank you!! 12/10!

Shane stopped by my place to review the process with me in advance and was very informative and explained everything thoroughly. Gave me a quote, which was extremely reasonable, and I might add that is exactly what I paid at the end of the move. The day of the move Shea and Tyler were early, bonus!!! and they started right away. They were extremely proficient in wrapping furniture and loading the truck, they were very kind and accommodating also. Once they got to Owen Sound, the unloading was done with a courteous effort to keeping the front door closed due to elderly people in the building. They had quite the flow going while unloading and was done in no time at all. I have to say this was the smoothest, worry free move I have every made, thanks to The Big Guy's Moving Company, if I could give them more stars I would. This company is excellent to work with communication is great in the office and the movers. The movers were doing a double move, my mother was moving from her home she lived in for over 48years with my father, and that is in Kitchener and then I was getting some of the furniture no one wanted and I could use in my home in New Hamburg. The movers had tremendous patience with my mom and mom only had great things to say about the guys, so they came to my place first and did an excellent job the communication between the two guys was great to hear and they were very nice and very corrigible. I paid extra to move a safe in my garage to go in my basement and it did not look like a fun job, but they did great communicating between them. Great company I would highly recommend them. The only suggestion I would give to them only cause my mom complained and had to clean them out herself before using is the crates, before handing them out maybe clean them. Especially to older couples at 82 she should not have had to clean out 10 crates before using. That is my only complaint, it is very minor so they still get a 5 star.

The BIG Guys Moving Company far surpassed all expectations from my husband and I. We underestimated the amount of stuff we had, drastically, and when Moving day finally came we were pretty worried we wouldn't get it all to fit, or it would take forever to finish. It was very slushy outside, so they were sure to lay down rubber runners to protect my floors. During their time at my home, they also built 2 beds, and unloaded a delivery from Home Depot right down stairs to my family room . Couldn’t have been smoother, I highly recommend them .

Kate was able to come the day before to quickly pack up our kitchen and a few other items, and then Shane and his team came for the move. They were HIGHLY efficient in the move, moving quickly while protecting all our precious cargo. My daughter & family recently used The Big Guy's Moving Co to pack up and move 2 homes consisting of 9 people. THEY WERE FABULOUS! Not only were they personable and fun to be around throughout both days, but they treated everyone - including children, elderly folks, and pets - with kindness and respect. As well, anything they touched, packed, or moved, was treated as if it were their own. They worked long, hard hours and only stopped for a bite to eat mid-way through the day. Save your time, stop your search for moving companies and go sign up with The BIG Guy's Moving Co ! They are great! They are your one stop resource for your moving needs, as they have solutions for everything you could think of, and things you may have not even thought of too. They helped move us from our old office to our new office at the end of December, and completed the move by the end of the workday, in just 8 hours. This also included un-assembling desks and re-assembling them, going up and down our flight of stairs (as the only way to access our old office unit on the 2nd floor), plus, carefully working through freezing rain that came our way mid morning and throughout the afternoon. They are very efficient, are problem solvers, easy to work with, friendly, responsive, good communicators, prepared, and are so careful with your belongings. There was not one scuff or scratch on anything, and the way they carefully handled our items made us feel very comfortable right from the start. They packed the moving truck so well, so that things were loaded in a way to be cushioned, not move/shift during transport, and be easily offloaded etc. I recommend them for any type of move.
