The office staff have a great process to help you plan the move, lock-in dates and paperwork that involves a small deposit and prompt reminder the week on the move. On the day of the move, the crew arrived exactly 8am on the strike of the hour and finished the move well before quoted time. Absolutely no qualms and issues during the time and I was asked appropriate questions regarding what goes where in our house. Would recommend AMJ Campbell to anyone irrespective of the size of the move. Thank you!

The process with Darrin Drake was amazing. He came in and walked through EVERYTHING, and was awesome at showing the value of the service. Our driver was quite good, and we had a few small instances with respect to direct or scraps easily dealt with. I would have asked for at least one more senior guy to have been along to help. Delivery guys were tidy, polite, and conversational. They took all the packaging and all the wrappers with them. I hadn’t realized I wouldn’t need my boxspring and was struggling with what to do with it and they offered to take it for me. The people who were to unpack and despite two phone calls, in the morning when they were suppose to be open. There was no answer and no phone call back to our messages. These people were so great. I had to move my elderly parents into a retirement home, and then four days latter my Dad went into hospital, and never came out. As it was during the Covid19 my parents' apartment stayed frozen in time for 2 months till we could get in and clear it out (Mom had to move somewhere else in the building, for more care) , So, because AMJ Campbell did an wonderful job moving them in the first time, I hired them again to move their stuff out. In retirement homes one usually has 2 hours to move because of holding up elevators. These guys are quick, efficient, but at the same time REALLY take care of items. Furniture and delicates were professionally wrapped and taped. They even have special boxes for flat screen TVs and for some large oil paintimgs my parents had. No items or structure to the building were damaged. Added to this was all the precautions and the professional way they handled the move during covid19, and followed all the strick protocols put in place at the retirement home. The quote they gave was written out in detail, and did not change when the bill came. I can't say enough about this company and the great crew that did the moves. On a personal note, I want to say thank you to everyone for how they handled the moves during these crazy times we are living in...you are all so amazing.

We had the BEST experience! From start to finish, everything went amazing. The quote ended up being approx $17 more than the final bill. When Nick and his crew showed up to load, they were quick, efficient and friendly. Disassembled beds, furniture etc. For the unload, they arrived the exact day he said they would and were even quicker unloading. They built all the beds and put the furniture everywhere we requested. My husband and I did our research on movers and got recommendations from neighbours and our realtor - everyone was pointing us to AMJ! The first person we met was Kirk, which is a sales person for AMJ. He was great - very knowledgeable and friendly. We decided to book with him after he sent us the quote, it was very reasonable for such a well known company! The day of the move (Oct 23,2018) we had Nathan, Brandon and Matt as our moving crew. They were amazing to say the least. They were all very polite, friendly and were so careful in our current and new house. I have never had a moving company that wrapped every item of furniture, set up our living room, etc. And not only that, they were actually the fastest movers I have ever dealt with! I just had a delivery yesterday. I had purchased from Ashley Furniture in Brantford and they used AMJ for my delivery. The delivery crew, Jeff & Kyle, were great. The move was so quick and efficient. They were on time, very professional, and had no trouble moving my very large and heavy pieces of furniture down a flight of stairs to my basement apartment. We have now used them 2 times for different houses this year. They did an amazing job on our first house. Only complaint was clean up wasn’t very good. I contacted their office and they said they would mail a gift card or send take money off the bill. We still haven’t received it. On our new house on Monday the 2 men fixed part of the roof were extremely nice did a fantastic job on clean up. We dealt with Jamielee Reynolds over the phone and she was great to deal with. Would have rated them a 5 but first house clean up wasn’t good

When my family and I decided it was time to move to our forever home, we wanted to ensure that one of the most difficult things of moving was looked after - the actual move itself! My wife and I have helped family and friends move before and we’ve seen the pitfalls of what can happen when you go that route. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great way to save money, but when you’re dealing with one of, if not the biggest investment in your life, I believe having a professional team of movers help can make a world of difference. So, when the time came to make that call, AMJ Campbell in Cambridge was the only choice! We first dealt with Kirk Grady who told us all the details and answered any and all of our questions. He did a detailed walk through of our home we were moving from and was able to give us a very accurate estimate. We were thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and expertise. Then the week leading up to the move we received a phone call from the office making sure we were still good with our move date and what time the driver and their crew would be there to get started. The day of the move went flawlessly as well. The driver (Luke) and his team (Russel and Jayden) were courteous, polite and very professional. They treated all of our items with utmost care as if everything was extremely fragile. My wife and I were very impressed and AMJ Campbell exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers!

My husband and I have moved a dozen times and this was by far the smoothest move we’ve ever had. Nathan and his crew arrived on time, politely introduced themselves, then wrapped and moved our furniture with care. The truck was loaded quickly and efficiently. They drove 2.5 hours to our destination, unloaded, and and placed the furniture exactly where we wanted. They took great care to not ding walls or scratch the new hardwood we had installed. I had an excellent experience with AMJ Campbell (Cambridge, Ontario). The crew showed up on time, were friendly and professional, and had the contents of our our three bedroom single family home loaded in under three hours and unloaded at the new place in about the same time. There was no damage to our our or any of our belonging, with the exception on one minor piece of IKEA furniture which had previous damaged prior to the move, and we have no concerns about it. The cost of the move was less than what they quoted. Our only minor complaint is that they disposed of the paper towel that was used to wash their hands into the toilet at our new home instead of into the garbage can (maybe they didn’t see it)? However, I would not hesitate to use them again!

We had to put our stuff in storage while we waited for our apartment to be ready about 6 weeks. AMJ came the guys were amazing they wrapped a bunch of big things so they wouldn’t get scratched. My aunt needed her furniture moved from her home to a retirement home. Kirk started the process by giving me an estimate and answered all my questions promptly. Brayden, Nick and Griffin did a great job. All furniture was carefully protected with thick blankets and then placed into the truck. Everything was completed and moved without any problems. The boys worked without a break until all items were assembled (where necessary) and placed into their correct spot. They were all friendly, polite and did a great job. Our company recently contracted with AMJ for our Cambridge regional office move. Subsequently, for reasons beyond our control, we found ourselves in the position where our move is now postponed till early next year. Having paid a substantial non - refundable deposit (per our contract) to AMJ, we were concerned re how they would handle the situation. However, no concern was necessary. When I explained everything to them, their response was that they were not in the business of profiting from others misfortune and that our deposit would be refunded. We will definitely be using AMJ when our move is finally scheduled. How great it would be if all businesses treated their customers, and in our case even potential customers, with such professionalism and integrity !

Not a good experience this time around. Sadly I have to leave a negitive review. The crew that was sent for my move were not at all efficent taking 2.5 hours to load 10 - 12 boxes plus some few pieces of furniture. I even stacked all boxes in the garage so it would be easier and quicker to load on the truck. Then the crew took another 2 hours to unload the truck and also had to tell them to not assemble the bed back together as they would have taken another hour. So I ended up assembling the queen bed myself with the original bolts which 2 of them were stripped. Ended up paying $1200 from the original quote of $725. Its been almost a week and no one has contacted me back with this issue after I had asked for an insight to this move. Unfortunately I will not be using AMJ Campbell for my future moves. *Updated* After some talk back and forth with Darrin I just wanted to say that AMJ Campbell made things right after listening to my concerns and realizing that I was unhappy with the time spent during the move. And I do appreciate a business that makes things right and makes that unsatisfied customer satisfied once again! Thank you, looking forward to doing business with again.

Very professional team, and they did a fantastic job protecting our belongings and property. That paid for itself compared to the scratches and dings we had with moving ourselves last time. I used AMJ for my sixth cross-country move, and it was the smoothest move I've had. Everyone was very professional, responded quickly to questions, and all my items arrived safely and in excellent condition. I shipped my items using vault shipping, which was easy and prevented my items from being loaded and unloaded multiple times. There was an approximately 3-week delay in my items arriving due to poor weather and roads being shut down, but the AMJ team was very responsive to my questions and followed up with the status of when my stuff would arrive. I would use them again if I have another cross-country move in the future.

I was travelling the QEW alongside one of these drivers. I can tell you that anything on that truck went from one side to the other and back again. There is a customer with broken or damaged belongings from this driver. The driver was lucky he wasn’t in numerous collisions. Bad driver. This was my first time using professional movers for a residential move and I would use AMJ Campbell again based on my experience. The crew arrived right on time. After they introduced themselves, they conducted a walkthrough of the house, laid down the protective mats and began to wrap the bigger furniture items. They promptly began to pack the truck and had everything loaded within three (3) hours. For unloading at the new house, everything was inside within an hour and a half (1.5). The crew asked where we wanted things to go in the new house, unwrapped the furniture, and made sure everything was in the same condition before departing. Excellent service with great workers. They were quick and placed working carpets all through both houses. They wrapped everything with either shrink wrap or furniture pads. Even the cushions were wrapped! There was no damage to anything or to either house. They fit large furniture through small places without damage and they even quickly removed the doors to our fridge and fixed a sticky door which I thought just didn't open wide. They put everything in its final position for us and cleaned up everything including disposal of all protective packaging and dirt.

My advice is to stay away, specifically avoid their staging package. What they don't tell you is that there is a minimum 4 hour charge to bring your possessions back, on top of what you pay for the package. So you end up paying over 50% more i.e. $900 turns into $1600 for the basic package. This is not communicated neither in the package description nor in the contract you sign. They claim that the 4 hour minimum is somewhere in the email confirmation. But it's not in any of the documents you sign. Yet after I pointed them at all these gaps the owner still doesn't agree with me that they don't communicate this clearly. I understand, it's hard to admit you are wrong. Worse thing about all this is that your possessions are locked at the storage and no matter what you do you end up paying more, and that's in addition to wasted time and all the negative emotions you experience, which is definitely the last thing you need in the middle of the move. I ended up renting a truck and picking everything up by myself.

However when they drove out of our driveway they demolished our blue box and all the contents of the blue box were strewn on the road. We moved from Waterloo, ON to Halifax, NS using AMJ in April 2020 at the height of the pandemic. Moving is stressful enough and COVID added to that, but Shawn was on top of everything and kept us in the loop of every travel restriction update and how best to avoid issues or how AMJ could change their plans to ensure a smooth move. I used AMJ after being referred to them by a university colleague who had used them for business moves in the past. I moved from Southern Alberta (Lethbridge) to Cambridge ON at the beginning of March. I worked with Mike Rooks in the Calgary office and had a phenomenal experience. Mike talked to me on the phone and gave me a price estimate for my 1 bedroom apartment (bedroom suite, couch and kitchen table) and I was able to confirm a pick up for 9 a.m. the Monday of my move. Ryan (the driver) showed up right on time and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I packed things myself, and they simply tagged it with a sticker and loaded it up. Ryan called me twice with an updated timeline of when he would arrive and was actually a few days ahead of schedule. I would say the only difficult thing was that once things were on the truck there was not a way to stay informed, and communication became a little difficult. Thankfully the team got back to me quickly and my items were unloaded (all accounted for an undamaged) without any problems. Would definitely recommend them, and work with them again. Thanks guys!

Residential move: The guys went above and beyond to ensure our goods where safely protected and loaded/unloaded. Where they went above and beyond was during the unload where they had to work miracles to get our extra fridge and large sectional through entries that had a tolerance of centimeters. This move was no exception except for the time it took. Derek, Liam and James were incredible! What should have been an 8 to 9 hour move, including lunch, ended up being about 6 hours. They are beasts! They ran, literally ran. They went non stop, we slowed them down to have a snack, lol. They even went so far as to shovel a path to the back of our yard to get a patio set that we said we would do ourselves since it was a steep hill they had to go down, see pictures. Nothing lost, nothing broken, no walls damaged, etc. I will always use AMJ and if you are using the Cambridge crew, ask for Derek, Liam and James. I had people take apart the bunk beds, tables, dressers and took at least 40 boxes myself over 2 days. I taped and shrink wrapped most contents hoping it would cut the time to 6 hrs. Unfortunately all the work I did only reduced the price by 1 hr. Had I known that my numerous trips by car and having 2 full weekends spent taking furniture apart only saved $150.00 I wouldn't have bothered. Was hoping to save at least $500.00. Disappointed

Absolutely wonderful experience. I've used 3 different companies and this one is by FAR the best. From the very beginning of the process to the end - AMJ was great to work with. Caroline responded quickly to my request and set up a walk through with me at my convenience. She gave me some tips and hints about the move as well so I was able to prepare for the day. The crew was early and wasted no steps, grabbing boxes on the first walk through of the house I was leaving and the house I was moving to. Nathan and his team were fast, friendly, very great group. I was really impressed with them and would recommend to anyone. EXCELLENT - thank you!

We are seniors and sold our house to move into an apartment. AMJ were kind and caring and helped us with any questions we had. We were able to go there and get boxes and bubble wrap as we needed it packing. On moving day the men were wonderful and skillful. We had a piano and other antiques that were of value to us and they had everything wrapped and protected and moved everything with care. All four movers were very personable and caring. On completion of unloading all our furniture etc. and placing it where we needed it to be they all came over and shook our hands and wished us the best in our new apartment.
