The team was supposed to be in at 9:30 and they did not show up until 2:30 pm. Moving was not done same day since mover were tired because of another move they had in morning. I would say NOT a good (trying to avoid saying bad or weak) scheduling and communication happened.

If I could give this company a negative star review I would. Extremely rude employees that hung up on me when I called to ask where they were when I had a scheduled move. They claimed I didn't confirm the move which I did and when I tried to have a manager talk to me about my issue my calls, 4 times I called, were never returned. It's been 4 weeks now. Very unprofessional, they will duck your calls and not return them if you have a complaint.

I would have to call the experience mediocre at best. The good: movers were really nice guys who worked hard. The not so good: the movers showed up exhausted because they had already done another move that morning. My husband helped them load and unload all our furniture and it still took well over 6 hours (our estimate was 3-5) and that was with a time discount because of problems they had parking the truck. They didn’t end up being able to take everything because it was getting so late (move finished after 10pm) so we have had to make several trips back over the last few days. They also broke our king size bed frame. I would suggest the company reconsider teams of 2 for larger moves. It seemed ridiculous.

Nothing negative to say at all. We were moving 5 hours away, we were very nervous but they confirmed the night before, the movers showed up exactly on time and they were in and loaded very quickly. My husband had everything super organized and ready to go so that helped as well. At the new place again super efficient and in and out quickly and they used protective mats for the floors. Our driver was Dave and I’m not sure who the 2nd mover was but this took place on December 17 from new west to salmon arm. Recommend these two anytime! Thanks guys

I just paid $28.86 per piece to move 15 minutes apart. Elevator both sides, up one floor. Not to mention losing my $200 deposit due to damage because the mover literally stuffed my reclining leather sofa into the elevator while the one of the movers was yelling that they hate working with the other. (The company assures me I will get it back ????). It took them a half hour to take my bed apart, wrap 3 pieces plus the Queen mattress, so 4 in total, and 2.5 hours to get 11 Furniture pieces (I made the bed rails count a 1) down to the truck, along with 5 large clothing boxes and 9 small boxes. Total pieces 25 and one bike, which I moved down and up myself. And just for fun, let's say we gave them 100 bucks to move the 14 boxes...just under an hour...that would mean I paid $56.51 to move each furniture piece. They then went to North Van instead of New Westminster and I waited from 12:40 when I arrived until 1:41pm...for them to arrive. I'd give them half an hour for slow travel in a truck but the detour? It then only took them 1 hr, 20 to get the stuff inside and unwrap. Same elevators, same distance to and from. Only difference, an extra guy. But does that one guy really account for the 1hr, 40 minutes of difference? And supposedly we need to account for how difficult it is to load 25 items into a truck? First half...3hrs. 2nd half...1hr 20. plus their driving detour in between. Total bill not including damage: $721.60. And this is off peak rates! This isn't even their full weekend or month end rates! While I never leave a complaint and try to understand where people are coming from....this needed to be mentioned. I've moved this same furniture plus my TV stand, dresser, side board and 25+ more boxes the same distance with other reputable moving companies for $800....and that's including the artwork, ironing boards, etc. I'm just shocked and saddened that these guys were like this and this company is okay with it. I hoped for better. Side bar, the additional guy seemed to know what he was doing but....too late I guess. The dispatcher Barb was really nice honestly and I'm thankful she took my damage seriously and even brought the extra guy to site herself. But no help on all the added time. Maybe I'm wrong but for any of you looking for a mover, judge your amount of stuff against mine and then budget $28+ for each....it'll give you a rough idea if your destinations are under 30 minutes apart. And then go get another quote elsewhere! Good luck!

After searching for a good reliable company for more than 4+ weeks and reading horrible and terrifying experiences from all of them, I encountered two small men with big hearts, they have great customer service, they give you a flat rate (not depending entirely about cost per pound) which is great because that’s how all the other companies scam you (at least what I read). They are a little bit more “expensive” than others but this is because it’s a guaranteed rate and you have peace of mind that they won’t charge you $2500 because “it ended up weighting more” still, pretty reasonable. The movers arrived on time, they even gave me a call informing me they were on their way, they were so careful with all our furniture, took their time wrapping everything up and were extremely efficient and professional, good kind people, they even gave us advice on how to get around in our new city, they helped us move from Prince George to Vancouver and this normally being something so stressful and complicated they made it so smooth and stress free, on delivery they were efficient as well and even helped us put our furniture back together. I don’t remember their names but they were two gentlement, I think one of their names was billy (blond guy with long hair) and his associate. They were so good, If we ever have to move again I’d hire them in a heartbeat. If you see this, thank you! And sorry to have waited so long to write a review I just didn’t have the time :)

Under-quoted fees to win business, then up the charges when it comes time to pay. Quoted $300-500 for 15 boxes + furniture on a 1-bedroom+den based upon an estimated 1-2 hours to load/unload + 1 hour travel. Furniture was already taken apart and everything packed up ready to move. Movers even noted that things were moving quickly, but then it took an extra 2 hours for some reason, so I was charged $750! Contacted the company to ask someone to look into this and was told it would looked into and they'd reach out to me. Haven't heard a word from them since. UPDATE: They called and left me a message. I've since called them twice and left messages both times and they've gone silent again. Stay away from this company! Terrible service!

About two years ago we didn't have the best experience but decided to use them again because the office handled our complaint quickly and professionally! This time we were very impressed. The movers were on time, laid down runners on our hardwood floors, wrapped everything fragile with blankets and treated our possessions with care! The two guys were seasoned movers and we were blown away by how awesome the experience was!

HORRIBLE!!! They broke my beloved aquarium! Was quoted 800 dollars over the phone and subsequently charged 1300. Personal items were damaged as well as the doorway to the apartment. I spoke with Stephanie the customer service representative and she agreed to drop the end cost of the move to 880 however at the end of the phone call she was upset that I still wished to discuss the 40 dollars exceeding the quote they made originally. She got mad and ended the call charging my credit card the 1300 dollars that they internally had decided the move should be valued at. I'm trying to work with the Better Business Bureau of Canada to have the bill lowered to the value we discussed before all of the shenanigans.

From the get-go Two Small Men were very professional. We have had to move three times in three years and have chosen their team every time! The office was very prompt to call me with a quote which seemed very reasonable for the longer trip of this recent move and they were able to give us a loyalty discount since we've worked with them before. The two guys got our 2 bedroom apartment cleared out and respectfully handled our belongings at both ends of the move. We are very grateful for their consistent service over the years. I moved from Alberta to BC and these guys answered all of my questions to ensure I knew what to expect come moving day. The movers arrived on time on Thursday Morning and delivered to me in Vancouver Saturday Afternoon. Everything showed up as it should have so I was very happy, the only thing is that they were more expensive then the rest due to the fact that they do not charge by weight, and I had a small load. However I would rather pay more for a service that I am confident in especially when moving your personal belongings. Thanks guys!

I would have given 3 stars due to the Movers being friendly and sort of careful but that would be misleading as the company is anything but good. I booked over a month in advance for 9am - 10am. person of contact (Barbara) decided not to answer my calls. No one came until 4:30pm! Move did not end until 8pm. My strata in the old apartment fines us for using the elevators after 5pm. The movers did not finish the pick up till 6pm, so I was fined, Two small men still charge me for their "Service"... I got a discount and an hour knocked off of the price, but I still had to pay over $400 and will still be charged by the strata which means I still lose money. AVOID if you want to save money, and move on time.

I've never hired movers before and my roommate and I were very pleased about how friendly and efficient the movers were. I don't think we really knew what to expect nor were we were anticipating the movers to be so personable, and to be honest, that had a huge impact on our day. They were easy to work with and chatty, never complained a moment about anything and were very accommodating and helpful. The only negative thing I have to say is that though they were careful with the pieces of furniture we flagged as especially sensitive, they did cause a fair amount of aesthetic damage to a number of other pieces. I'd thought they'd take more care to use furnies or plastic wrap or ties to make sure things didn't get scratched but a number of our shelves and smaller pieces of furniture had a lot of scratches all over the tops, which is a shame. Nothing broken but we were disappointed to find that some of our items seem to have been neglected when it came to taking care with them. I would still recommend this company for sure, we had an excellent experience from day one, everyone in the office was lovely as well. Our quote was way below what we paid, but we know why it took longer than we'd hoped (elevator limitations and access problems in our new apartment) and weren't overly surprised by that. I felt supported with all the questions we had and know our move was a thousand times less stressful going with this company. I will definitely use this company again, but I may take more care to cover my furniture myself or request special care with my furniture items. -Rory

The movers did a good job, moving quickly and carefully with my mom's things. They were cheerful and friendly and treated my mom with respect. I have to take away one star for time: the residence into which my mom was moving has very strict rules about the elevator's use for moving, and so we knew time was tight. I stressed that in my confirmation call, but they still arrived much closer to 10 than 9, and by the time they arrived my mom was quite distressed. It was an extra bit of stress added when the move was a difficult thing to begin with. Otherwise, great job and I would recommend.

We moved using “Two small Men” moving company. They sent a large truck with three young men. You will pay 1.5 hours travel time at 199 per hour. They arrived an hour late. They had no tools. Hey did not take everything, so make sure you’re there to check the place afterwards. The crew did.not work fast at all. Actually slow. (One worker would put only one item on the truck end and use the automatic lift to get it down to the ground. Up and down, up and down. Not efficient with time at all). We were told the men would set everything up when at the new place. They didn’t. They broke my dining room hutch and said they’d give me a sheet to fill out at the end of the day, they just told me to look for the sheet online. I asked to keep the chunk of wood that snapped off, they said they’d glue the wood back on. I don’t know where the piece of wood ended up. Don’t hire this company. The receptionist is awesome and makes you think you’re getting top notch service. But then they send workers who don’t work hard, forget stuff, and make promises that aren’t true.

Do not use this company!!! They were once good but the new management is a joke. I booked them a month in advance and when they showed up they showed up with a broken truck and just two people (one guy and a woman). I told them that I had a few heavy items that they would have a hard time lifting. After an hour they began to move the first item which was the heaviest and ended up putting a hole in my wall and them ran out to their truck and left. The two workers said to their boss that I told them to leave which was untrue. I was talking to there office when I noticed them leaving. The management blamed me and told me too bad for you, we have other jobs today. They never attempted to contact me to repair the hole. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
