I’ve used Top Move service once a few years ago and was VERY impressed with their service quality level and professionalism. The staff who came to pack my 2 bedroom-apartment and moved me the same day within Barnaby were really nice, efficient, courteous, and very helpful. They definitely know what they are doing! I also enjoyed dealing with John, the owner, and the staff and would highly recommend Top Move to anyone who is looking for a smooth, cost effective, reliable, and worry-free move. NOT IMPRESSED! Had booked this Top Move Inc. almost 2 weeks ago. Just received a call 5 minutes before they were to arrive, saying that their truck broke down and the driver called in sick. Huge disappointment and now having to scramble to find a new moving company at the 11th hour.

It was my 14th move and it went very well. I was a medium size residential move with furniture items and 50+ totes and boxes. Smooth from the start. Planning and quoting went well. No hidden fees, no surprises. They confirmed again ahead, I had peace of mind. The movers Scott and Chris arrived on time, took an overview and jumped right into action. They worked like a well-oiled machine, hand over hand. They did a fabulous job! Always time for a smile. No damages. They were as professional as can be. Big thumbs up, 5 stars for sure! These guys were so slow and disorganized. They also showed up 45 min early and wanted to start working. Tried to charge me for 1 hours travel time when my house was 600m (metres, less then 1 km) from their office and the new house was 2km away. They broke 2 things. They took a cabinet to repair and it’s been a month and it’s still not been returned. They have stopped replying to emails.

we hired Top Move to move us from our house in Burnaby to Abbotsford. On the day of the move the crew arrived right on time and were very polite and friendly. They started working right away. Although we had a lot of items they managed to load them all in the truck and protect the furniture properly. They were very efficient and all the items arrived at our hose in perfect shape. They took the stress out of moving. I will definitely recommend them to all my family and friends.

They were available on sort notice and accurately judged the crew and truck requirements for the shop move I was doing. The crew were a great bunch of guys: friendly, professional and they did an excellent job loading, packing and unloading some pretty heavy, awkward and fragile items. The cost was very reasonable too. Highly recommended and I will use them again in the future.

Top Move Inc. moved me yesterday from my apartment to my storage locker. There was very good communication between Terry and Rash about the move. The movers Scott, Gurpal and Chris were very hard working and careful with my furniture. The move took a little longer then anticipated as there were challenges with the piano and the oversized couch. Terry and Rash assured me that the second move between the storage unit and the new apartment would go much more smoothly. Top Move took care of my moving in West Vancouver. They were on time and did a very clean job. The movers were extremely cautious when moving the furniture not to damage the furniture or the surrounding walls and floors. They were also very skilled in figuring out the most efficient way to move things to save time. I would highly recommend them for any sort of moving you may have in mind!

They were available on short notice and didn't have a 4 hour minimum like other movers did, and were fairly priced. They were friendly as well. We were concerned with how long it was taking at first, but they couldn't help it. The elevator wasn't blocked off for us and it was clearly not their fault. Once we got to the second location they moved everything very quickly.

The two movers that came to help us with our move from Surrey to Burnaby left us with nothing but an excellent impression of their service and company. I would not hesitate to recommend this moving company to any friends/family that are moving. They took extra precautions with all fragile items and were mindful of our labellings and treated all boxes accordingly. I appreciated that they were willing to assist me with placing all of the furniture in approximately where I wanted and even helped move items that were not part of their load. I was surprised that they went out of their way to also package up any loose items that we had forgotten and was extremely pleased with their care and effort to our experience. In summary, they worked with efficiency and professionalism that I cannot praise enough.

Just had these guys move a sofa and bedframe I bought. Very careful when moving and took the time to assemble it and made sure everything was level with bed frame before securing last screws.

Unbelievably unprofessional. Called us the night before our moving date and said that they might not be able to come and get the job done. Regardless of what his reasoning was he left it until the very last second to let us know, resulting in loads of added stress for my family. I spoke to him on the phone to give him a piece of my mind and he was very rude and unprofessional, demonstrating his terrible customer service skills. He then proceeds to call my father and complain about me and say that I was rude to him. The audacity of this guy... To think he is running a business as a grown adult lol. All in all terrible experience with this guy, would NOT recommend doing business with this company.

Total Shock

Totally destroyed 6 pieces of high-end furniture. I’ve been dealing with their insurance company for almost a year now and have had no resolution. As it turns out they actually aren’t even properly insured, and therefore the insurance company is not willing to pay for these destroyed pieces. I am left with no choice but to pursue this through small claims court - I will post an update once resolved.

We Do not Recommend these movers !! A 1 day move took 3 days and not completed, promised 2 trucks and not enough movers. After 3 days we still had to move items that were left behind ourselves. We were informed 3 days before the move that they could only supply 1 truck and possible 2 maybe 3 movers. This was the most unpleasant moving experience we have ever had. Damaged multiple items and didn't complete the move. One of the damaged items t was a lamp standard that the moving truck took out and they refused to pay for. Too many items were damaged to list. :( Again will not recommend the company to any one!!!!!
