I hired RIF Moving yesterday to move my furniture from Sentinel Storage in Vancouver to my home in Kerrisdale to pick up more furniture and then move everything to my daughter's townhouse in Coquitlam. I was a bit worried because I had never used this moving company before but I needn't have because the three movers were absolutely FANTASTIC! Three movers (Diego, Louie and Abdul) showed up at Sentinel Storage 15 minutes early (they texted me 40 minutes before they arrived that they would be early) and emptied the storage unit very quickly. Then they came to my home (even the manager, Henry, showed up to make sure everything was going smoothly) to pick up more furniture and wrapped everything up either in cellophane, cardboard or quilted blankets (there were some glass table tops). They were extremely careful moving the furniture down the stairs and up from the basement. Then they promptly drove to Coquitlam, unloaded the truck, moved the furniture to three floors of the townhouse (one of the items was a queen-sized remote controlled EXTREMELY HEAVILY MECHANIZED bed which had to be moved to the second floor around a VERY NARROW staircase - I closed my eyes because I didn't dare to see how they could possibly do it but they DID it - we all applauded when they finally got it up and into the bedroom!). They removed all the wrapping and cardboard they had taped around the furniture and took it all with them. They even swept the floors before they left! The fee they charged was VERY reasonable (I got quotes from other companies before choosing this one). I would not hesitate to use them again and I shall certainly recommend them to all my friends and family! If you are planning a move you MUST hire this company! Magdi Ramdani, the owner of the company, arranged everything. They took all the stress out what I thought would have been a very stressful event. (I wish I had taken pictures of the move, especially of them moving that motorized bed up the stairs!)

Great service, great prices, and really fast! I've used Rif Moving twice now and the guys have been great! The are extremely fast, very professional and even managed to fit my gigantic couch through a narrow hallway. Please consider this a warning - do not risk hiring RIF Moving. I hired them and they were a NO SHOW on moving day. It was agreed that they would arrive at my place at 9:00 am. When they hadn’t arrived by about 9:30 am, I tried calling Magdi but he didn't answer and his voice mail was full. I tried calling their office and their admin assistant said that she would try to getting in contact with them and get back to me. At around 10:30 am, after having no luck getting ahold of Magdi, their admin assistant suggested that I find another moving company! I cannot express how stressful and horrible it was to be put in this situation by RIF Moving and it’s something that I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience.

Each time, they are early for the job, super friendly and fast but also very careful and respectful of our items... and they are FAST! I hired RIF moving to move me from my studio apartment downtown Vancouver to a 1-Bedroom apartment in Kits, based on their awesome Google reviews. My initial impression wasn't great as the movers were 2 hours later than they had scheduled (I booked what I was told was the "first slot" of the day to avoid this issue) and I had to call in myself to identify what the issue was (they had taken another "quick" job before mine). That said, once they arrived, Bouzie (sp?) and Jeff were FANTASTIC. I have never ever in my 3 moves seen movers *jog* between loads to/from their truck. These guys worked their butts off to complete my move in 2.5 hours, and the destination was a three-floor walk up to boot. Both Bouzi and Jeff were friendly, professional, and treated my belongings with care; my furniture was wrapped for protection and transported carefully to avoid damage. When all was said and done, these guys did a 5-star job, and I would 100% recommend RIF for your next move.

Thanks again to Magdi and team!! **-=-*** RIF Moving took the stress out of moving! There were some scheduling conflicts with booking the two elevators from the building I was moving out of to the one I was moving into that left me with a very small window of time to actually move. Magdi was always available by phone or text so I could communicate what was going on. He was very accommodating to the constant scheduling changes and also offered suggestions. On the day of the move, they arrived early with a huge, clean truck. They were efficient, quick and friendly and positive throughout the whole process. Most importantly, they got everything done on time and way more affordable than most of the other moving companies I researched. Overall I highly recommend RIF moving ... great service, great price, great people!

Edit: Changed to 2 stars from 3. Because the response to my review from the owner claiming those $ offers he gave us is completely false. Not sure if he's got us confused with someone else. ************************************************* We choose Rif as two of our friends recommended them. But our experience was rather not great. To begin with they were 30mins late but they promptly notified us about it. The truck arrived and to my surprise didn't have the Rif logo/painting as seen in the advertised pictures. There were 3 guys and 2 did the moving as the other guy was only a driver. The two guys worked very hard but were very slow. I can definitely say they were inexperienced as they took a lot of time in figuring things out. We had around 10/15 small packages (u haul boxes and suitcases) and two big (a 3-seater couch and a 3 door wardrobe) furnitures. They were clueless how to move out the couch through my old place and they were trying methods. Then one point I asked them to try remove the footrest and they did and it worked. Once they moved and loaded all in the truck they were just waiting to start. And when I asked what're they waiting for,one of them said that they're waiting for the driver. I had no idea what they're waiting for as we're paying by hour but left to the new place so I had to get there before them to arrange things. After they arrived when they were trying to move in the wardrobe, it made huge thuds multiple times. They ignored it and still continued doing what they were doing only to find out later the back cardboard was ripped apart due to the slabs moving freely inside the wardrobe as the wardrobe was turned upside down. I wished they had either simply removed those slabs and carried them separately or did not turn the wardrobe upside down. But should point out that the driver compensated $30 for the damage only after I brought that up. So overall I felt that the work was amateurish as they were pretty slow (again we're paying by hour) as they were taking time trying to figure things out. And we only had 2/3 heavy/delicate things to move in which one arrived broken,the other I had to tip them how to. And the total move time was 4.5 + 1 = 5.5 hours !! So I'm not sure what went wrong for us unlike for the rest of the people but I wouldn't recommend their service. 3 Stars for their hard work and friendly communication.

I have moved either myself and / or helped others a number of times over the past few years. Never have I had a moving company come anywhere close to the service level provided by RIF Moving. From the first phone call for a quote to the very end of a long day of moving .... Magdi and his crew were more than impressive ..... they were exceptional. My move entailed a huge amount of fragile yet heavy goods and furniture from a mountain top home with a steep and unforgiving driveway. Other moving companies were going to google a map and throw a quote. Magdi came to my home, immediately understand my concerns on what was a far from normal situation and came up with a plan and quote that was more than reasonable. I remember breathing a sigh of relief the moment they actually arrived on moving day ...... the team were friendly, polite, extremely hard working and more than anything, committed to moving my things safely, yet quickly and efficiently. I cannot say enough about the professionalism I experienced. These guys are the best you could ask for .... bar none.

I am extremely happy with Rifmoving services. They helped me with my work move and the boxes we got through them were extremely convenient and sturdy. Magdi and his team kept me updated throughout the day and was always transparent. I understand at any workplace or job there's always challenges but with the moving business I see it is even more so. I appreciate the humane aspect of their company that I don't see in others often. Their prices are very reasonable. We had given Magdi less than 24 hours notice and we were very last minute with what we needed to be moved suddenly. Magdi was very accommodating. His brains and his guy Sam's skills worked hand in hand and they somehow got my couch through a very very narrow doorway. Their relentlessness and amazing customer service really made this move easy. Their price was very reasonable compared to other companies that I called. Not only that, they were actually on time! Unheard of in this day and age with movers!! Magdi's personality lightened the mood and kept my family at ease while he was figuring out a way to get the furniture items in the condo. My move was done after 5pm and that easily ruled out a lot of the companies i called previously. His upbeat personality really goes a long way during a move that can easily be stressful for anybody. I have already recommended RIF to a couple of friends of mine who are going to be moving in the next few months. Was a no brainer and will definitely be using them for my next small or big move. We had a painful move, down one flight of stairs and up another and did not want to do it alone. I called around and RIF had full insurance coverage included, not as an additional charge, and sent us two trucks to make sure we got everything in. The crew were friendly, on time, and very careful. I always hire movers and it was just such pleasant experience and I recommend them strongly to anyone. 1. Consulting with Magdi was so great. He was professional and very responsive. All the questions were answered right away. 2. Henrique's team was amazing. Henrique was exceptionally careful wrapping all my furnitures (even though I wrapped them with wrappers - very thin) with padded blankets and my furnitures have no damage thanks to him. RIF Moving was wonderful. We had a small job where we needed to move our China cabinet from the main floor into the basement. I asked around many moving companies, and RIF Moving was one of the only companies willing to do such a small job, and offered a very competitive price. From the very beginning, Magdi was great on the phone, expressing a great amount of professionalism and patience when answering all my questions.
