Everything was moved in perfect condition, including an antique buffet cabinet with curved glass. They responded to emails quickly, were always on time, and took the proper precautions for covid19. Moving can be stressful. I just moved from Coquitlam to Calgary and my belongings were taken great care of. Four men loaded my 1 bed home in 40 minutes this included every article of furniture being individually blanket wrapped and documented in an itinerary. My stuff was delivered 2 days after it left Coquitlam first thing in the morning. They said 9:00 am and I received a call from Seth at 9:00 saying they’ve parked and already spoken with apartment management for the elevator rental and are on the way up. Considering parking downtown was particularly stressful but Seth and Peter made it so easy for me. With just the two of them they moved me completely up to the 10th floor in just over an hour. Very impressed with the service, care, and the price. This company will definitely eliminate your long distance moving stress. Have already recommended and referred.

Leo in the office was very knowledgable about cross-border moves and was able to answer all of our questions as well as provide documents and forms in advance that were needed for customs' processing. Lots of broken and damaged items...a 1700 cc motorcycle transported on its kickstand...we were told many things that were not carried through. If you're reading this, just go ahead and book them, you won't be disappointed! The team was great at communicating, professional, timely, and cost effective. The price was comparative to the numerous other companies offering but it's not something where you want the cheapest you can find. The price is well worth the value you get with Flat Rate, you're truly getting the best. Wrapped everything extremely well and were helpful in getting everything to where it need to go, unwrapping, and arranging. Used floor runners to keep everything clean and tidy. They even went above and beyond in repairing a table leaf that had fallen over and broken while moving. They offered to fix the part and have it re-delivered to us on their next trip to Calgary. Sure enough a few weeks later they dropped off the leaf, fixed and looking better than ever, and didn't charge us a penny for it even though it was more my fault that the leaf fell over. Amazing service!! I moved from Vancouver to Calgary during January. They arrived on time to pick up everything. They were really careful with every single one of my things. They wrapped everyting individually and marked them in a detailed list that they gave me after to check. I asked for the delivery 3 weeks after the pick up. They arrived the exact day and time we arranged. When they arrived, the got everything inside the apartment, asking me where exactly to leave it. They unwrapped and cleaned everything. Initial impression was good, they were very direct but got back to me with information quickly and they offer a very competitive rate. Unfortunately, they have a policy that they withheld from me until the last minute - they will not move you, if they do not have any other customers moving on your requested dates. I had to coax it out of a very rude customer service agent who suggested that "yeah, if you can find another company, just go with them". So please do your research and have back up plans. If they say they are trying to arrange other clients, it means there is a chance they will not move your stuff. I did not get a chance to experience an actual move with them as they let me know 4-5 days before I was supposed to move that they could not accommodate me. Follow up from a manager after I complained was very professional and they offered to help me out, but of course I had already found another company to use.

I recently moved from Calgary back to Victoria, and hired Flat Rate relocation to do the job. This was my first time using a moving company, so I was a littler cautious. I didn't need to be, every detail was taken care of just as they said it would be. These guys were honestly amazing, and far exceeded my expectations. I was a bit nervous when I asked Jason what happens if anything is damaged in transit and his answer was "It won't be", but he was absolutely right. They arrived right on time, were very respectful and careful, and really took their time to do the job right. Even my 6', 100 lb dresser was wrapped 360 in moving blankets before it went on the truck. They dismantled any furniture that needed to be taken apart, and reassembled it again on the other end. I don't have a single complaint or caveat. I would 100% hire them again, and I will be recommending them to anyone I know in the future doing a long distance move. I paid a little more than I was hoping, but it still ended up being less than some of the quotes I received from other companies. Do yourself a favour and hire these guys, you'll be happy you did!

Selecting Flat Relocation as my movers is the best decision I made in planning my move from the US to Canada. Moving itself is stressful enough but crossing borders adds a good deal of complication to the process. But Flat Rate Relocation made it as least stressful as possible. Leo in the office responded quickly to questions and gave helpful advice and links to government documents about what can be imported. He was very flexible with the changes I made between initial request and final decisions. Sef and Jason, the guys who did the moving, arrived one morning after a harrowing road trip during the night in the middle of a nasty storm; in order to guarantee their arrival would not be too late they had to leave at 3 AM. Their return trip was not much better, gusty winds and heavy rainfall. But through it all they were cheerful, helpful and efficient. They have a lot of experience with border crossing so it all went very smoothly. If you are looking for flexible and helpful movers who will give you the best value for your money you will choose Flat Relocation.

For example, we were concerned that our household will not fit into 26’ truck, and Jason promptly addressed this issue by sending a huge, much bigger truck (which was the right decision to do, as we saw afterwards). Everything went very smoothly, packed safely and well, and delivered on time as promised. Nothing was broken. We especially acknowledge the team of movers, both in Victoria and Lethbridge, for their hard work and gentle care of our household items. In summary, we would rate the Flat Rate Relocation service as excellent, and we would gladly recommend it to other people. Once more, thank you so much for the great service!

Don't let the number of reviews sway you, these guys are top notch. Moved from Vancouver to Edmonton, they included 1 month free storage which I needed as the new house wasn't ready for possession. I was worried because the majority of my furniture is glass, I actually budgeted some glass items being destroyed based on previous moves with other moving companies. In the end they were punctual, no damage to the house on either end, they took care of everything and wrapped everything perfectly. Not one thing broke, even random plastic pieces from some car jacks that fell off, were returned to me in a bag. If I had to move again, these would be the one's I'd go with. Great company, great team, and above all they listen.

It has been my great pleasure to recently do business with your company. The main person I had dealings with was Leo, who on incredibly short notice was able to schedule my wife and I in for a move of all our household possessions from Vancouver, Canada, to Bellingham, Washington, USA. I think it was about four days from my first phone contact with Leo until the day he moved us. In an effort to help us get everything ready for this cross-border move, Leo went back and forth with me several times to help me prepare my list of documents and 3299 form. Without him none of this would have been manageable, and he was replying to my continued questions regarding these forms even late into the night past business hours so we would be ready to go. He also went through the border crossing process and kept me filled in on timing and the order things would happen. On the day of the move they showed up early and went right to work getting everything down from our seventh-floor apartment to the truck, with no damage to our items or the building’s elevator and lobby. These guys were excellent. We followed Leo’s instructions exactly at the US border and had no problems, getting through in just a matter of minutes. Once at our new home in Bellingham, Leo had arranged for one of his associates to---incredibly---come up from California to meet the truck and help Justin get all our household goods inside. This was certainly the best moving experience I have ever had in my life, and although Leo had good workers to help him get it done it is obvious to both myself and my wife that the true credit for things operating so well, from beginning to end, should go to Leo. He is that rare sort of person that does more than is ever asked, expected or required of him. I wish your company continued success, and give you my warmest thanks for such great service!

The Flat Rate Relocation team are the best movers we have ever used! The communication we experienced with Leo was always very quick and professional. The team that moved us were so friendly and efficient! I used Flat Rate last December for our move from Vancouver to Kelowna and most recently to move my parents as well. Both times were the same level of excellent customer service. You will not need to worry about your items getting lost or damaged along the way. Would highly recommend!

We moved from US to Canada, Leo was so attentive to all our needs regarding our move. It was one of the easiest transactions I have made regarding our relocation. He would alway email me to let me know what was happening and making sure we were on the same page. Not to mention the driver. Seth was perfect! He brought our stuff with so much care and had a smile on his face the whole entire time. He also wrapped EVERYTHING that we left outside from the boxes with a blanket and tape. Our stuff stayed about 8 days in their storage in CA free of charge because our house was not ready yet. FREE OF CHARGE!!!! When Seth and another great guy came to deliver our stuff they were extremely careful and there was not a single broken glass or scratch in our stuff. I cannot describe how happy I am with this smooth move. They are just fantastic! From day one til the end we had all support we needed and quick responses regarding our concerns. Price was also cheaper comparing to many other companies. I don't regret for a second doing business with them.
