Highly recommend this company!!! If you ever questioned using a moving company or moving on your own (ie. uHaul) save yourself the stress and please just book these guys, you won’t regret it. I know how difficult it is to look for a reliable moving company as many of them are pretty shady with fees, so I’m also here to tell you that there are no hidden fees. They tell you the cost upfront (it is also listed on their website). Elmer and his partner arrived ten minutes earlier to start time and off they went to start loading the truck! They were extremely efficient and handled fragile items with care. I appreciated that they used a mattress cover to move the mattress and wrapped fragile items as well. They also took due care with how things were loaded into the truck, so that nothing would fall during the drive. As we were driving in front of them about to get onto the highway, Elmer gave me a call to tell me that one of my back tires was almost flat! I’m so thankful to him for that because that easily could’ve popped once I got onto the highway! After pulling over at the gas station up ahead he helped me to pump up my tires. Once we got to the location, Elmer was also quick to unload all the items off the truck. He used a roll of carpet for going up the stairs so that they would not be stepping on our carpet which was also great. This is the first move I’ve ever had that wasn’t stressful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They’re also funny and great people to be around. I enjoyed chatting with them afterwards. And to Elmer and his partner, thank you again. Elmer and his crew were super kind, careful, and efficient. When our scheduled movers never showed up and ignored all my calls, Elmer came to our rescue a few hours later. He made what could have been an extremely stressful situation into a pretty seamless move! All of our furniture and fragile items were moved with great care and despite our haphazard packing job, everything arrived in our new home in perfect condition. Since we got a late start, they finished the move in a couple hours of darkness, but that didn't even slow them down. We were completely moved in by 8pm and the guys were still friendly and smiling! I am thrilled with their service and would recommend Elmer and 1-Call Movers to anyone! THANK YOU!!!!

Great movers and very kind. They loaded and moved half my belongings into storage as well as to my new place for the rest which was quite far. No damage and great rate. I wasn't able to get out of work so it was important to have complete trust as I wasn't there. E-transfer when all done. Easiest move I've ever had. Even took down my daughters Owl lightswitch-casing that I had forgotten about.

I used One Call Movers for our move on April 14- Elmer and Gordon were very friendly and professional movers and treated everything extremely carefully. They worked very hard and hustled for 7 hours straight. They packed our entire apartment in three hours which was amazing. Highly reccomend these guys, I worked as a mover for a few years in university and one call movers is very impressive and very competitively priced. 10/10

I recently sold my home and in the process sold some furniture. The person who bought some of my furniture used 1-Call Movers to pick it up. When I saw the great service they provided the buyer, I knew they were the company I'd call for my big move out of the house....and I'm really happy I called them. They were excellent! Very careful and professional, with all the right tools and equipment to ensure we were moved without incident. And this was no small feat as I moved from a house to an apartment building (which doesn't have the largest elevator)... however Elmer and his staff managed this skillfully with no problem. Plus....they were very reasonably priced! I couldn't have asked for better and really happy that I chose them. And I'd definitely call them again!

Zero stars, is what these movers should get. Although they were fast, the wrecked a number of my things.... My $3000 dollar storage bed. My sheets from my bed My end table lamp And worst of all the scratched my newly installed floors! My husband wasn't aware of all of the damage or how little their insurance covered. He paid them for there services, which I feel that shouldn't have accepted. The owner told me he would fix my bed.... I am sorry, last time I checked you were a mover and not a carpenter. I told him I was going to use his insurance which he gladly offered. $1.64 per KG. So I would maybe get $500 dollars for my bed, $0.50 for my lamp.... who know what they would give me for my floor. Since it was only on one piece of flooring I am guessing $0.10? The owner did call me to follow up, but at that time I had discovered all of the damage and was so mad, that I couldn't even talk to him. Let's sums up what his negligence has costed me....$1000.00 deductible to my home insurance + higher premiums. $ 500.00 to fix the floor and a house full of stuff that was supposed to under my storage bed. The pieces of my bed all over the house- did I mention I have a 9 month old,so we are confined to her room so she doesn't hurt herself. My $4000.00 dollar mattress sitting on the floor. The should return my payment is what they should do as they didn't hold up theirs end of the bargain, safely moving my belongings.

I was looking specifically for someone with experience to make sure the truck was correctly packed. 1-Call Movers, found in a google search, seemed to be a good fit. I have used Elmer's services twice, the last time just recently on Friday, Feb. 16/18. Elmer was courteous and prompt, letting me know when he arrived at my storage locker and when he was finished and on his way to my new townhouse. I have some large and expensive pieces of furniture and Elmer took the time to wrap everything in plastic wrap and moving blankets to ensure that they arrived without any marks, scuffs or damage. I also have two flights of carpeted stairs and Elmer used a long runner to protect my carpets from the rain and mud that could have been tracked in. Elmer asked which rooms the large items and boxes needed to be placed and he made this move the least stressful move that I ever have experienced. I would highly recommend 1-Call Movers to anyone who needs a safe and competent mover. Thank you Elmer and Jordan!
