Used these guys after hearing about them through a reference. Two movers, friendly guys show up and seem to have everything under control. At the time of moving furniture in to my new place, I hear them knock something on the wall as they enter the apartment with a table. After placing the table inside, they head out to grab other furniture and sure enough- I see my table (white in color), has dents in it. I approach them on why the table wasn't protected as they were bringing it in and they say that they take the protective covering off in the truck. Ask me to speak to their boss about getting the damage compensated. After getting on a call with Philip, he is completely defensive and dismissive and starts to talk about who is being more honest. Even his workers are more open to negotiating a fix while he is completely disregarding anything I am saying. Finally agrees to reduce the price by a small amount so that we can go to Home Hardware and find a solution ourselves. It was a $500 table from Structube purchased three months ago that has dents in it that make it look as though I've had it for ages. When I hung up with Philip, one of his guys said to us "mistakes happen from time to time...". When you look to use this service, Philip will make it sound like he really wants and appreciates your business. Wasn't quite the same level of enthusiasm when his guys made a mistake.

Philip and his moving team were awesome to deal with. Philip came to our condo downtown weeks before the move to take a look at how much furniture, etc. we had and give us a proper quote. His two movers showed up right on time on move day, and were efficient and careful with our stuff. What we ended up paying was almost bang on to the quote. It's the Right Move was a great choice for our recent move. My parents were leaving their home after 30 years and they were feeling very stressed about the process. Our first contact was with Philip. He did a walk around the house, taking careful notes about what was to be moved. He provided a quote, in hardcopy, on the spot and carefully explained the process to my parents. He stayed in touch with us as we approached the move date to make sure all was on schedule. It was reassuring, especially the email the day before the move, just touching on key details. On the day of the move Taylor, Kyle and Justin arrived and they did a terrific job! They were very professional and kind. When they had questions they checked in with us to make sure that their plan would meet our expectations. I've never seen people move boxes so quickly! At the end of the day the lead, Taylor, reviewed the quote with my parents, adjusted the price as they completed the job in less time than expected and wished us well in the new home. It was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional moving company.

Phillip at It’s the Right Move came to the house and gave a firm estimate, explaining that if it took less time we would pay less but there would be a max 10% limit to overcharges if the move took longer than expected. He was accurate. Phillip dropped off boxes, which were charged at a reasonable rate and only once they were used. The movers showed up on time and were polite and cheery. They wrapped the furniture to protect it and worked diligently until the job was done, with only a brief 15 min break for lunch on route from the old house to the new. I got what i was promised at the price we agreed on; I would use them again!

Looking for a trustworthy, reliable and fast moving company... HELLO! These guys are BOSS!!!!!! From beginning to end this was the most pleasant company I've dealt with. The free estimate was short, sweet and to the point. I had the pleasure of meeting Phillip and talk over my concerns and requests. He was punctual and helpful, estimate came back to me almost immediately. I went ahead and booked them for the day, they advised me ahead of time when they would be there to start and approx. how long it take. When moving day came, again the two movers were punctual and boy did these guys WORK!! They were careful, strong and fast - not to mention just as nice as the owner! I found Philip on homestars back in September. He came in on time to quote was very friendly and easy to talk to. Heade his checklist and quoted us the next day. His rate was very competitive. We maintained communication via email. My wife ended up selling a number of pieces of furniture between the quote and date of moving. Philip came back out to quote again 1 week prior to closing and offered us compensation for what had been sold. Move day(today) 10:00am the truck and team of three were onsite. After a quick walk thru his team began working. The pace they kept was amazing. They asked pertinent questions. They handled ALL of our belongings with the utmost care. No damage to any of our belongings. No damage to either of our homes. They had loaded two trucks by 1:30pm Philip asked that I call him when I had an update on recieving our key. They left for lunch. From 1:30pm we didn't recieve keys to our new house untill 5:00pm there was no pressure or stress from Philip or his team. Once we recieved possession his team immediately began unloading the trucks. They offloaded and sorted all of our furniture and belongings into appropriate rooms never once a complain or issue. Each team member was never afraid to ask where things go/belong which saves us a ton of time later. Hats off to Philip and his entire team, very easy to deal with 5 stars without a second thought. Punctual, honest, friendly I wish all businesses were operated like this. I will had we had a very negative expirence with movers on our last move so we were hesitant but this really was The Right Move. Thank you so much Philip and your team!

My wife and I recently sold our home in Mississauga and re-located outside the GTA. In advance of the move, I solicited quotes from 4 different moving companies who all came via personal references. Philip from It's the Right Move had been referred to us by friends who had also utilized his services and who provided him with a glowing review. Of the 4 quotes I obtained, Philip's price was the lowest by a considerable amount. Philip was only too accommodating to arrange to come to our home at our convenience and provide us with a detailed quote. His attention to detail in quoting the job carried seamlessly over into the move itself. Move day went like clockwork, from arrival through to the end of the day. Philip's trucks and equipment were spotless and each and every item was wrapped for protection and skillfully secured for transit. Philip's team was awesome and could not have been more accommodating. At the end of the day, I was shocked that Philip and his team had completed the move in less time than anticipated, especially considering the drive time between the two locations. Not one item of our belongings was damaged and in the end, Philip came in under budget. I must say Phil was a wonderful help to us when we moved. Our furniture was well taken care of. Some of our furniture was well over 100 years old. It was well wrapped and arrived safely and without a mark. All of our fragile items arrived in one piece. Phil took some items we did not have room for in our new condo apt. to give to families who were in need of them. This served a dual purpose. We try any chance we get to pass along his business card. We have used It’s The Right Move two times and both moves have gone without a hitch. Arrived on time, no damage to goods and the price quoted for the first move was even reduced as less time was taken. The second move was a bit more difficult for them as we were moving into a condo so the elevator came into play with each load. The move was still completed courteously and without damage to our stuff or elevator. We sincerely hope we do not have to move again, but if we did, we would certainly use Philip Heitz’s company - It’s The Right Move without hesitation. Philip is a super guy to deal with.

Sorry I am little bit late in sharing my review, but here it is. Buying a house in itself is a stressful and exhausting process, on top of that dealing with the stress of moving, but our experience with 'It’s the Right Move' movers has been nothing but the best. Right from the initial meeting with Philip, we found him very friendly & professional. He took a tour of our house and gave us a quote. On the day of, Philip and his team came to our house in the morning at 8:30am sharp as promised. They walked around the house and started loading the stuff in the truck. I was surprised to see how fast they were in taking stuff apart, wrapping it and loading it in the truck. After they got to the destination they quickly started unloading the truck and Philip and his team did their best to keep all the boxes and furniture in the room where they belong. They then assembled all the furniture (except the cribs) which was ready for use before they left. The best part, they completed the job earlier than estimated time during the quote and I was pleasantly surprised when Philip showed us the number of hours they took to complete the move was less than initially quoted for and therefore they billed accordingly. They only charged for the hours they worked, I have never experienced that from any other mover. Not only that, during the move an item was left behind in the truck which no one noticed, Philip came to drop it off to us the next day. I cannot say enough good things about this moving company, they are the best in business and are my go to guys for any of my future moving needs. I highly, highly recommend 'It’s the Right Move'.
