Great option for those who are in need of storage for things such as general moving or if you are getting your place renovated and need a place to store your things rather than hauling them off to a storage facility. It's convenient to have a clean sealed container dropped off at your residence for as long as you need. Then the container can be delivered to your next home whenever you are ready. Definitely more sheep than hiring a moving company. The only downside is finding enough friends to help you lift your stuff around the house without damaging anything ????

I used Cubeit starting in October and will complete my service with them in a week from now. Overall, the service has been really good. However, I recommend making a paper trail of any conversations via phone by email, so there's a track record of it. Two hiccups happened: 1) I was told that my portal storage unit would be delivered from Mississauga to somewhere at a storage facility in Kitchener/Waterloo (where I moved) over the phone. A few months later, when I wanted to access my portal storage unit, they told me that the portal storage unit was at a storage facility in Mississauga. Unfortunately, I don't have this in writing, so it seems like this information was lost. 2) I called a month ahead of time to inform them that I'll be scheduling a delivery of the portal storage unit. I asked how early I needed to give them notice so that I don't get charged for time I won't be using the portable storage unit. The rep informed me that they would pro-rate the fees. Everything was fine and dandy... except a few weeks later, I got invoiced for the full month. When I called, they have no record of my call or information about the pro-rate conversation, and there is no way they could give me a refund for the amount after I was charged. Moving forward.. if dealing with this company, make sure everything is in writing.

Using this company has been the worst experience I have had with any company, to date. First, the company changed the cube delivery date at the last minute, obviously affecting our ability to re-schedule movers, so we had to do it all ourselves. Second, when the driver dropped off the cube, he backed his truck into it before leaving and punctured a huge hole in the unit, and didn’t seem to care. I had to silicone the hole and hope for the best. When we called to notify the company of this, nobody seemed to care. At our new house, the company alone again changed the date they were supposed to deliver it on. Then, on the actual delivery date, after waiting 6 hours for it to show up, they called to say the driver was sick and could not drop it off. This is in the context of once again having to cancel movers, with only myself and pregnant wife to unload the pod. When I called to get an explanation or any type of satisfaction, I was told simply by Emma and Mason of the company, that really it is too bad and there is nothing they can do. When I asked to speak with someone of higher authority, they would not give a name and said it wasn’t possible. So, we are still without our cube and have no idea if, or when it will show up. Please, STAY FAR AWAY from this company. I am now moving to the better business bureau as well as legal to see what my options are.

I have mixed feelings about my experience. We used Cubeit to move from southern ontario to manitoba. On one hand the service was really good. Delivery and Pickup of the container was on-time in both locations. Clear communication about when they are coming to deliver/pick-up, all of the drivers I interacted with were kind and professional. our stuff arrived undamaged, no signs of water or pest entry into the container while it was in storage, no mold or mildew, etc. On the other hand the billing was a headache, we ended up getting charged probably 15-20% more than we were originally quoted for, with no changes to the service. The bills came in multiple waves and it was often unclear exaclty what parts of the service we were paying for. We got charged incorrectly a few times and had to call customer service to get it sorted out, often having to call back multiple times in order to get our refund.

Good service in theory but beware of using their storage facility. My goods were stored for three months and when we were unpacking we were shocked to find mice droppings everywhere, even in sealed boxes. The mice had even chewed up my expensive clothing. When I called them to address the issue they said they were not responsible for rodent infestations. Very disappointing that they do not have proper controls to protect their customers valuable assets. Update: They responded to my review right away acting like they were taking this seriously. HOWEVER over one month later and still no follow up from them.

I ordered 2 containers at different times due to the lack of space in front of my townhouse. The customer service is definitely a 5 star. I talked to different agents at different times to ask questions. All agents were polite, quick to respond and very helpful. No issues in cancellation at all because I ordered 3 initially. The only issue I had was the time of container delivery that is never promised. My suggestion to whoever using this service is not to call the movers the same day as of the container drop off. Another mistake that I made was that I only measured the garage door opening for a 7x7 container. The truck needs about 1.5 feet on both sides to maneuver the big machine. Rest assured, go for it, I highly recommend Pups/Cubeit containers.

I had to change my Cubeit delivery dates on two occasions & I was able to do so efficiently & with zero delay when i contacted the call center & spoke to David! It was a positive experience to have someone who answered my call immediately vs waiting on hold for the expected 5, 10, or 20 minutes & I spoke to a representative who spoke perfect English who was knowledgeable, respectful & efficient. This is my first time moving and storing using a portable unit. I researched companies in my area, and Cubeit was the MOST straightforward, easy to deal with, organized company. There were no fake front end web pages that routed me to some location farther away. The drop off service was absolutely top notch, informative and on time! Phone service both in booking and a call in with a question I had was also clear, friendly and efficient. Billing is clear and rates are reasonable. The unit was very clean and fresh. Very happy with this company.

Customer care was friendly. Only complaint is that I was charged a late fee and wasn’t discounted for the lock because I was a Costco Executive member.. it took several calls to be sure this was rectified. Customer service should ask clients if they are a Costco member (executive). Could be more proactive with this, as a lot of people are members. Also the unit was delivered without notification. I was told I would be texted prior to delivery. There was no text,phone call or anything. Was also told the delivery could be as early as 10:30 am and it ended up being towards 4 pm. Had to stay home all day, they could have given a shorter range of time. The unit was dirty inside, my husband had to sweep it out and pick up broken pieces that were left inside. A little disappointing.

Very disappointed with their service and false advertisement about their containers, throughtout my interaction with their customer service rep, he kept saying the container would be a barn door style container and because of the limited space on my driveway, I needed to store it facing the road. Also that the container size would 8x8x16 on the outside. When I received the container, it was a rollup door and the outside measurements were 8x7x16 on the outside, so I lost quite a few sq ft. of storage because of the size and door style. I had about 15 boxes in the end that I couldn't fit into the container so I had to pay for another small locker with another company to store those that could have fit in the container if they had sent the right size and door style container. When I called to register my complaint, the customer service rep told me that they were very busy these days so they sent me an old rollup door container and that he couldn't do anything for me. He said he would forward my case to a manager to review and the manager would call me but it's been almost a month but haven't received any manager's call. Also beware that your containers are stored outside so the facilities are not temperature controlled. I should have paid more attention to the reviews before signing up with them. I thought since they advertise as Costco's exclusive partners, their service would be reliable but boy I couldn't have been more wrong. I have used their competitors' such as Pods before with no issues, they might have been slightly expensive but they delivered what they promised. I would advise everyone to do their due diligence and pay attention to reviews about different issues people have had with them. If everything goes well, that's good but if things go wrong, that's when you need good customer service to win your customers back and make their experience better not worse, that's where they lack greatly.

You only paid when a service was provided, so you are not laying out a large payment at once. Drivers were very professional, acknowledged any of my concerns . The staff who answered my calls were very prompt and also answered my questions. I would recommend Cubeit to others. I prepared and had people with experience to load the container.

Friendly recommendation if possible have containers cleaned between customer delivery. My Container was delivered muddy with loose leaves on the inside (likely from previous client who used it for storage)
