Showed up on the scheduled move date despite there having been a blizzard in the days before and despite their trucks getting stuck multiple times. They were professional and made quick work of loading and unloading. Great communication from the owner as well.

Just finished our move with Five Star today. They did an amazing job, I can't say enough good things. Booking was easy, customer service was great, they showed up early worked and constantly when we were loading and unloading and wasted no time. Just simply a no nonsense operation. They always were very careful and honest about risk of damage to certain items we had unwrapped. They packed the trucks without an inch to spare, organizing and planning ahead how to make everything fit just so without damaging anything. They had tons of packing blankets all like new to keep everything safe. They even had floor runners they put down to protect the floors in our house. Very professional. I was there to supervise, but grabbed the occassional box and it was promptly taken from me as they were there to do the lifting. Our move was complicated, three places into one. We had to move a small apartment from in town to our new house and then from two locations 2 hours away a couple days later to bring everything from storage to our new house. Everything was picked up and delivered same day and they never batted an eye when moving items to individual rooms. They were very patient, polite and friendly. Their prices couldn't be better. I have no complaints and would recommend them in a second to anyone. Don't hesitate, you won't regret it. Best money you can spend.

5 Star Moving is the very best...I had booked them for a move ,they were on time ,,took very good care of my stuff while they loading it. Then we go to Extra Storage and the guy doesn't show up for me to rent a unit.....5 Star got right on the phone and found me a storage unit ,,and it's even cheaper a month then Extra Storage. 5 Star Moving is there for you and they are a great group of Awesome Men.. Call Them...because they truly care about you and your belongings.

Update: It has been 17 days since I contacted 5 star regarding the incomplete job, and have had no response after a 2nd conversation with the owner who said he would talk to his guys, and get back to me. I had a very bad experience. This was the 3rd time using them, and this was by far THE WORST service I've ever received from them. Now, on my first 2 interactions with the company, I couldn't have been happier. They moved me from a 3rd floor walk up 2 bedroom apartment in under 2 hours. Today.......NOT A CHANCE. I was booked for a VERY TIGHT 3 hour window as Dan squeezed me in last minute so, I was very appreciative. However, let's talk about today. Today started by being called to tell me the guys will be late. They showed up at 915am, and started at 930am. This obviously ate into my VERY TIGHT 3 hours, and I was now down to 2.5 hours. I had everything organized, and ready to go for them. I pulled all of my bins out into my hallway, and even provided them with a dolly to make it quicker. I told them to start with the bins, and then move onto the furniture, as that is the LOGICAL way to load a truck. His crew decided to disregard my instructions, and moved furniture first, thus leaving HUGE gaps in the truck. They then started with the bins, moving ONE BIN at a time, and only stacking them 3 high in the truck rather than utilizing space properly. This made them leave 1/3 of my stuff in my hallways, and apartment. For some unknown, and illogical reaso, this took them 4 hours to complete. The only thing that I added to my furniture since the last time they moved me is a dining room table, and chairs so, logically, it should have only taken them 3 hours to move me, because it only took them less than 2 hours to move me from the exact same setup last time. However, these 2 guys took 4 hours to move me, AND DIDNT FINISH THE JOB! I had to hire another truck and trailer to finish what they started. I spoke to the owner, and he refused to listen to me as I couldn't fathom why it took twice the amount of time than previous with just an additional table and chairs. As he couldnt or wouldn't listen to or begin to comprhend logic, I just gave up. No point in fighting with a company who doesn't understand basic logic and reasoning. I paid $441.00 for an incomplete job. This completely blows my mind. Their legacy is going to be unfinished work, shotty staff, and unable to understand logic or reasoning. I highly doubt that a join agreement on what is owed to me will ever be reached because I would just be banging my head off a concrete wall. No point. Will never use this company again.

They even returned a second day to move our treadmill, which couldn’t be moved initially as it needed to be taken apart. Ryan and Brandon were so great, they moved my sectional and king size bed from my duplex into an apartment in no time at all! Ashleys furniture struggled to get it though my door when I bought it, so I was super scared that it wouldnt get into my apartment but Ryan and Brandon had no issues with them at all and had it done in no time! No damage done and super quick, will deffinetly use Five Star Moving again and I highly recommend everyone to use this company!

2 young gentleman delivered a large sectional to my home this afternoon. I found them to be very courtious and professional. Did a great job moving it to the basement, no marks on furniture and no damage to house. Would recommend this service. 5 stars.

This company really is as good as their reviews say they are. I have used quite a few movers over the years for various things, usually chosen on who is available at the time. Two months ago, I was calling around and I found Five Star. They had an opening on the day I wanted, so I booked them. It was a relatively small job, but they showed up right on time, were extremely polite and efficient, and what really surprised me was they completed the job without breaking or damaging anything. That had never happened to me before! I was very impressed. Yesterday, I needed help moving some more equipment and, of course, there was only one place that I was going to call. This time I was moving some very heavy items, so Daniel and I agreed that I would need four people. Again, they showed up right on time, with two trucks, and had everything loaded very quickly and with no fuss whatsoever. These people not only know exactly what they are doing, but they handled everything with just as much care as if it was their own. Again, they were extremely polite, efficient and professional, and again nothing was broken or damaged! I could not be happier with the service I received on both occasions. Their rates are already very competitive, but when you consider the quality of service that they provide, I cannot imagine how anybody could give better value than Five Star Moving.

Great moving company. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and very reasonable. I moved from my 4 level split home in Southridge to Chinook Village, From start to finish was 2 1/4 hours. My couch was to big to go through the hallway in my suite so they measured and brought it in through the patio. Thank god I didn't live on the 4th floor. Don't know what they would do then. I highly recommend 5 Star Moving.

My husband and I needed our fridge and oven moved to the garage for new flooring to go in. Five Star charges per 15 minutes not a flat rate of an hour, which was perfect for what we needed moved! The two men took great care when they put the appliances back in the house to prevent scratching the new hardwood flooring. Everyone very friendly and easy going. Highly recommended!

WOW !! I've moved too much, and I know movers and Danial and John at Five Star Moving are amazing. !! Prompt, professional , reasonable, careful and considerate. My move necessitated changes and a number of updates , emails going back and forth etc and those inconveniences were handled graciously . These guys went above and beyond, making sure I was settled in with my carpet unrolled and offering to stay and move anything I needed , checking to be sure before they left that I needed nothing else . Class acts !!

We were moving cities, super tough to do. This company helped us out on short notice. They could only help out manually which worked out just as fine. They then connected us to helpers on the other end of the move. Everything was great ( except spouse forgot new house keys with me at old place) oh and he forgot van keys in his pocket...so other than that...super recommend! Great guys! Super poliet!

Got this company to move a couch from one apartment building to another apartment building, there truck was dirty, it had bed bugs in it, and they ripped our couch. I would advise anyone not to get this company to move anything unless you want your stuff broke, damaged or bed bugs.
