The driver turned up crying a sob story how he had to get back to Brockville, my soft hearted staff member signed without counting boxes Our Fault. We informed Speedy within 2 hours explaining and even provided pictures. The driver told us he handballed the goods to my staff member. We received a large pallet shrink wrapped see picture. Speedy customer care said they would provide picture proof all boxes were shipped. We have not received any pictures or communications from speedy Customer CARE. I can only provide our story you have to make the choice. We would never TRUST this company again.

I've worked at Speedy for a while now and since my very first shift everyone welcomed me as a member of the family. Every day I see the office crew work non stop to get the freight out. They're hands fly across keyboards as they answer client's questions, and create freight manifests for the drivers. My terminal manager is in before I get there, and still there when I leave. The dockhands handle each skid or box as if its crown jewels while "speedily" (haha) unloading and reloading trailers. Our SALESMAN spent his first couple weeks learning the in and outs of each department so that he can help out wherever needed and accurately answer client requests. When a client calls and requests a certain package be delivered that same day despite it being noon, our office handles the logistics, the dockworkers get it loaded, and our drivers agree to do an additional run despite having already worked a full shift. Basically, what I am saying is that every person at Speedy Transport truly cares about the results. They care about client satisfaction and agonize over ensuring all needs are met. Its a great place to work, and an even better place to do business with.

As a store owner my multiple skid order has been sitting in their warehouse for quite a while now. They never called me, I had to call them. Then they gave me little to no working window because "they need their truck to be back for the afternoon". What retail store opens at 7am? The driver seemed like a good guy though. Maybe a lack or resources (trucks and drivers)? A little more organisation wouldn't hurt this "Speedy" Transport company. Also, service in french from the dispatcher would've been appreciated (for deliveries in Quebec) even though it didn't influence my 2 star review.

Having been called by Speedy Transport to arrange for my Costco purchase to be delivered, we arranged time slot of between 12 and 3pm on Friday. We arranged for someone to be at home for the assigned delivery time. It was not delivered, when I called I was told it wasn't delivered because I didn't answer my telephone when they called. I didn't answer as I was at work having left someone at my home to received the delivery. I rearranged to have the piece delivered today between 12 and 3pm, I also said that if I could not be there between 12 -3pm I would call them. The delivery guy arrived at 10.38 am! The delivery guy was helpful and friendly but it is just luck that I was home. I would not use them again. When delivery is the thing you do, you ought to do it well with consistency.

As a former driver, always push push push. There is not snuff time in the day to do what is expected. Bounced from truck to truck and spend first couple hours a day finding freight. Pain in the ass. Hated every day. Terminal manager is rude ignorant and don't dare be off sick, he calls and messages you 30 times a day begging you to come in sick. Would not recommend to anybody...

Received a call to arrange delivery on a Thursday for Next Tuesday at 12:00 , no show, no call, on line tracing says will be delivered at 4:38....no show called was on hold forever, called again no answer I deal with many transport companies this one is ALWAYS late

I was called on Wednesday and arranged for delivery on Friday with an 8 hours window. I took a day off to receive delivery. Wait and wait nobody shows up, no phone call. Finally can talk to somebody to be told that my stuff never left the warehouse but they don’t know why and that I had to call the following week to reschedule. Contacted them the next Monday saying that I had a window to receive it in PM. At 08:30 they answered that all their truck had already left for the day and I had to pick another day. Wow do they think that we just don’t work and that we are there just to wait for them to deliver. Stay away from that company, not reliable!!!

I just had one of the most exemplary customer service experiences ever, and that was from Steve one of your Drivers. Personally, as someone having career experience in: Operations, Recruitment/HR, and Training roles I can tell you that an employee with work ethic-initiative-foresight/problem solving-client relations skills like that IS NOT A DIME A DOZEN! I received my mobility scooter yesterday! When I saw it in the truck - weighing 277 lbs, on a skid, in a box and secured within a steel frame my heart sank! I am 82 years old and have just had open heart surgery - there was no way I would have been able to unpack this. Never mind! To the rescue came Terry and Ron! In jig time they had it off the truck, uncrated, in my apartment and the wires, frame and bits and pieces of the packing cleared away! I know delivery personnel are very, very busy and have long days and yet they took time to help me! I was very impressed at their level of customer service. Thank you so much Terry and Ron!!!
