I can't say enough about this company. Excellent staff and attention to customer service. My trailer was completely covered in snow and a staff member in his tractor dug it out in a snow storm for me. The price to store my trailer there is extremely competitive but the convenience is priceless. Thank you and keep up the excellent service.

I would highly recommend Primo Storage facilities, no matter how little or how much you need to store. I have used there facilities several times! Staff is very friendly & knowledgeable. Units are clean, secure & BY FAR the BEST deal in town...ny a long shot! I've rented a unit from them twice & plan on returning. Signed for a unit on Saturday April 28 at 5pm (closing). Primo isn't open until 9am on Monday. Due to changes we needed to cancel the unit, and attempted to do so within 6 hours, during which time we had requested a callback for the actual dimensions of the unit. We have not taken possession of the unit, or utilized the "free" trailer service. Wilma, who answered the phone, refused to refund our first month, despite the fact that: A) We haven't taken possession B) Our rental term hasn't begun. Frankly that's a disgraceful way to do business. Update: our unit was canceled and money refunded, after getting lectured from the proprietor.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. They cleared snow so that I could get out my trailer for a trip in early March with no troubles. The routes are always cleared and easy to traverse. Some customers do not park their trailers efficiently, but otherwise, it is great! As an added bonus, if I need servicing, the trailer servicing folks can get it and return it after servicing without me having to even show up. (The latter is the biggest reason I keep my trailer there.)

Thankfully I tried Primo before giving up. The employees are extremely friendly and treated me as a unique individual (because we all are!). I have used Primo self-storage for more than 3 years. The initial contract set up and help with storage unit size and specifications was easy and supportive. I had a shipment of boxes and furniture coming from Australia and wasn't exactly sure of sizing. The few times I needed to go into the office the staff were always friendly and available. The facility felt very secure, and access was always smooth, whatever the season (i.e. snow clearing was always done). The building that my unit was in had a solid and effective temperature control system, and the hallways were wide facilitating moving with a trolley and a couple of folks at a time. It's been a great experience storing my personal goods with Primo!

1. Costs are too high. 2. The condition of the area where RVs are parked is poor. Pot holes , puddles, and in dry weather constant dust which coats the RVs and the exterior components

I had the pleasure of using Primo Self Storage this past year after moving out of my home into temporary lodgings for a period. The website was very specific and informative, which made the initial process incredibly convenient, but things only improved when I started reaching out to the company, both by email and phone, and was met with absolutely terrific customer service. Tom clearly went above-and-beyond, literally every time I had a question (and I had many!) or needed anything, and made the entire experience very straightforward and stress-free [which, during an otherwise stressful time in my life, was definitely appreciated!] Everything was up-front and clear from the getgo, and there were no "hidden fees" or unexplained conditions to follow. I was able to rent out a large Climate-Controlled unit, and it was so well maintained that a 1918 piano spent 7 months in there and came out of it still in-tune! The finalization of the contract was simple-and-easy, again with no hidden fees, and with the damage deposit and returned-keycard deposit being promptly refunded a few weeks later, exactly as promised. All told, the experience I had with Primo Self-Storage was nothing short of fantastic, and that's *before* considering that its availability and pricing, compared to many of the "big name" competitors, was amazing (if I recall correctly, it was basically 2/3 the cost of 2 other companies that I priced out). I would very strongly recommend this company to anyone looking to utilize the services of self-storage units in Ottawa, particularly if you're looking for a large unit [heck, even getting moving trucks to/from my unit was simple: they clearly considered the layout of their lot when they designed it!]. Edit: I will say, my only regret is that I failed to write a review sooner [as my last dealing with Primo was a little over a month ago], but the process of moving and all that has kept me busy.

This place is great. We have stored our RV here for 3 years now and never had any issues. The security system is amazing. What is even better is that there is plenty of room to pick up or drop off your RV. There are lots of RV's stored here for a reason.

I have been stoping my cars over the winters for a number of years now in Primo's heated units and Wilma at the Front Office calls me in the fall to check well in advance to ensure I get in before the snow comes. The Staff is courteous and conscientious and assists in getting the car in safely. I check every couple of weeks and there's never any signs of rodent visits and I have always been 100% satisfied. I presently am storing stuff over the summer in the climate controlled storage and again, very satisfied. I highly recommend this facility.

We were VERY happy to choose Primo for our storage needs for the last 6 months. Telephone staff who answered were super friendly and prompt, and when we went to tour it, we were reassured we had chosen the best place. We researched not only prices and value, but condition of the units (we wanted something that had an interior hall so that moisture could not penetrate the door of our unit in the winter). We were also offered the free use of a trailor if we rented a minimum number of months so that was nice to know!It's clean, secure and easy to use for gate access with a card too! We also recently received the last month's rent as we had miscalculated coming in one day late to close our unit. ( recent death of my father in law) and thus the last few weeks have been "off'...but Primo was understanding and reversed our fee> A nice HUMAN touch. Thanks Wilma! We will be renting again in the fall thru winter and not going to look to go anywhere else. We recommend Primo due to price, value, professional friendly service and kindness. Thanks Primo!

Had my trailer there last year but were charged for this year. Had to go in to see them and i was told that we had not canceled which we did over the phone .The gentleman showed me an email they sent me but i did not answer that email so they started to charge me for the new year but they could of called me which is the right way to do business. When we did call them last year they were very rude over the phone.I do not like giving out bad reviews but to cancel I sent them three emails before they came back and said my contract had been canceled.So if I were you do your self a favour and go somewhere else.There rating is high and all the reviews are good but what they do is call you or email you and ask if you can take your bad review down .Also the contract you sign will continue year after year so when you are finished with your storage needs ask for an email confirming your contract has been canceled. Service was awful business practices the worse.How they stay in business I do not know customer service was a big joke.
