Customer service was great. They responded very fast to my questions about the quote and booking. I moved from Calgary to Toronto and everything was in the same condition. The person that packed my stuff and drove it across the country was amazing. He told me when he thought he would arrive and he updated me along the way by text. Great service and not over priced (same or lower than other quotes I looked at).

If I could give this company minus 10 stars I would. This is a total scam and the people they hire are experts at theft not moving. We got an estimate for 4000 pounds which they told us was 1050 plus tax no extra or hidden fees. They are supposed to weigh the load. First the movers were three hours late to arrive and were extremely rude. The "supervisor" found 10 extra ways to charge us extra fees, including 100$ to cross the bridge from Ottawa to Gatineau. They also charged double the estimate even though the load was never weighed. They tricked my husband to sign the weight right in my drive way, thinking it was a zero on 1050$ but in reality it was a surcharge of 1650$ on top of the other 5 hidden fees. They arrived to the destination over two hours late and waited in the driveway while they extorted all that extra money that they scammed or they were stealing my furniture right them and there. (This is only half of the scam) They then unpacked the house in the very most difficult way to unpack, it'll take us a week to get to out beds. Intentionally done as they were at least supposed to.place big items in the right rooms. They took my furniture apart, as per contract however they didn't put it back together as per contract. This included all bases on 3 TV, a hand made Italian glass coffee table that was in my family for 3 generations. (The only thing I have of real value) and my Kitchen table. They hid all the items behind our mountain of boxes. Making sure we would have the most possible difficulties when we got to our new home. To put icing on the cake. They shattered my coffee table in a million peices, 3 witnesses saw them do it and they still refuse to even talk to.us about it. They also shattered my 55 inch Samsung TV. (Pictures and witnesses to prove) they removed all the wrap that was on it and just left it there shattered and refuse to answer any emails or phone calls. So far I am out 6000$ and that is if you deduct the initial estimate. I want the print out of the scale weight as they lied. We have almost no furniture. No living room set no appliances. So there is no way their estimated weight is correct. They refuse to give us the weight print out which Is standard, even though we even paid for the scale. But worse than that they won't even respond to us at all. Just like any company in Toronto. This is a total scam and they own several companies, and websites call you 100 times a day with a new name, so people are literally always talking to the same thieves. Pretty much the same as the W5 they had on Toronto Tow Trucks and home renovation people We hired them because we are disabled and had to leave Toronto. We would have hired a u haul but were trying to avoid displacing our families during a stay at home order..If we don't have some type of remedy by tomorrow at noon I will bring them.to civil court and am speaking to police now about criminal charges. If a company.puts illegal things and lies in a contract that contract is NUL and Void. So all their contracts would be. Just a heads up for anyone who has had the same problem. Regardless of the name they are Almost all the same company. Canada Van Lines, taking advantage of the sick, vulnerable and Desperate. I swear I will do everything I can think of to bring them down. Don't care. Tired of all.the Toronto scammers. It is a big reason why I left the city. Not an honest company in the whole freaking place. Thanks Mathew I got your number too. I suppose.since your company isn't responsible, your next in line.

We recently moved with GCVL form Ontario to Quebec and would like to thank you for the excellent service you provided. Emily was very helpful and quick in responding. The driver, Evan and his helper, Donny were very helpful and professional. They used paddings and blankets for everything with extra care and payed attention to all my instructions. They inventoried everything and explained details of all forms before signing. Transport took less than 24 hrs. The price is resealable and fair. We highly recommend this company and would use them again in the future for sure!

The customer service was really excellent and friendly, things were moved efficiently with good list tracking and everything arrived at destination. The final cost ended up being more than the initial estimate, but that's too be expected with likely all moving companies. Would have appreciated a bit more of a heads up on the delivery side that things were arriving, as I got a call same day as delivery, but it all worked out in the end. Overall, a positive experience.

I moved my stuff (1300lbs) from Alberta to Quebec and all I have to say is WOW that was so smooth! I was assisted by Sara during the quote and planning process and I will admit, I was very nervous to move forward with such a big decision. I felt more comfortable talking to her on the phone and voice my questions/concerns. She was so helpful and friendly and really gave me confidence that I was making the right decision to pay a little more for a more reliable company (other companies were quoting me around $750 for 1000lbs... which I thought was too good to be true). On the day of the move, Bill and Kevin arrived (a bit late, but they called me to let me know) to label and load my already packed stuff. They were super friendly and loaded my stuff with care and patience. I was left with a sheet of paper with all my belongings labeled, and a huge feeling of relief when I realized my stuff seemed to be in good care (wrapped in blankets, placed nicely in the truck, etc). 8 days later my stuff arrived at my new house, all in perfect shape! As they unloaded it, I was responsible for checking off each item on the list to make sure I had it all. Nothing was damaged. I was so amazed at how easy and smooth the whole process was.
