Our house that we moved from was in a pretty awkward location but they were able to get their truck in and out without any issues. The movers were pleasant, worked very hard and took good care of our furniture. They make very wise use of their time, and don't stop for even a second. Kate answered my call and was more than helpful. I am incredibly pleased with their work and would highly recommend their services to anyone!

My move was from a storage unit 10x15 and 10x10 to a two story home. They showed up on time. They got to work very fast and were friendly to work with. I had them put put all boxes in the garage and the bigger furniture in the home. It’s so nice to have someone in the moving business who I can trust to take good care of my belongings. I liked everything about them. I liked everything about them.I highly recommend these movers!

We had GetMovers move our entire house within Vancouver. A truck and three movers showed up on time and went to work fast. The guys were really strong and worked well together. I booked with Get Movers because of the high google rating and ratings elsewhere on the internet. Now I am not sure if these reviews are real or if the bad reviews get removed because my experience was quite bad and I struggle to believe that it is an isolated event. I scheduled a move for June 29th. Everything was fine until the day of the move. The movers, after already being 15 minutes late, called to say the truck had broken down. Given that elevators were booked, it came as a surprise when we were told that there were no other trucks on standby for such events. We rescheduled the elevator bookings and agreed with the mover that he should meet us at 1pm (move was initially meant to start at 8am) as that was the latest we could push the move to on that day. He agreed that he could make this time as the truck would be fixed by then. When 1pm came, he was not there. Called him and he said “30 minutes.” He kept saying “30 minutes” until he eventually arrived at 2:45pm. This was now too late. An arrangement had to be made to move on another day. As it was the end of the month and Canada Day, the next available day to move was July 2nd. Luckily, the landlord was flexible, but it meant that we had to pay overtime fees for the elevator bookings, extra BC hydro, and time lost. It was a very big inconvenience. The move on the 2nd happened, although the movers were 45 min late. The movers were efficient and kind. However, it is very clear that Get Movers is some kind of booking agency because it seemed as though they outsourced this move to another company. Everything that is in the pictures on google is not what we got. Including the truck that had no branding. Even though the movers were good, it felt as though we did not get what was marketed in the promotional material. I would have much preferred knowing that Get Movers is a booking agency instead of a moving company. It’s about establishing trust. I would give the whole experience 1 star, but I’ll add an extra star because the movers on the day were efficient and kind. Otherwise, it was an expensive, inconvenient, and unprofessional experience. I will not use them again, nor would I recommend them based on this experience.

I absolutely recommend GetMovers. The team were such a joy to work with! Movers arrived very promptly at 8am, handled all our stuff with care, and moved it quickly and carefully. We were all wrapped up sooner than I had predicted. They communicated with us throughout the process so we knew what was happening and they also followed all the safety precautions for COVID-19 (wearing masks, keeping socially distanced from us etc.).
