When I was beginning to plan my move from Surrey, BC to Montreal QC, the most daunting element was finding a way to transport my belongings. Quality Move Management was suggested, and I am so glad I went for it. From start to finish, the experience was amazing. I just moved inside Vancouver and used QMM. Their crew was on time, professional, clean and friendly. They were really thoughtful - putting all my bedding and towels in one box and marking it so I could find everything first. It was the first time I worked with movers that showed they thought about the client and what could be important to them. And they were honest. I have had so many bad experiences in the past but not this time. They are a bit more expensive but you definitely get what you pay for in this case - a great experience.

We hired QMM for our move from Ottawa, ON to San Diego, CA. Their process started with an online evaluation which was smart (no need for in-person visit). Several times throughout the process I had to ask them to modify our invoice and they did that without any hesitation. Their pickup team did a great job showing up on time and packing our furniture efficiently. They gave us a reasonable initial time window for delivery of 2-3.5 weeks, but soon narrowed it down to a few days and delivered on that! They local delivery at San Diego was professional and caring. Above all, they gave me a ~$9k estimate and charged me exact same amount at the end. All in all, a very pleasant moving experience. Thank you QMM!

I got several quotes for our huge move from Alberta to BC, we have an antique grand piano and my husband has a lot of heavy, awkward tools. QMM quoted slightly higher than some, lower than others, I chose them because they had a good reputation and good reviews online. The movers were polite and wrapped everything well. We moved from Airdrie AB to Vancouver Island. We needed to use storage between the moves. QMM provided the moves and the storage. We are missing almost $2000 worth of our stuff. Not just 1 or 2 boxes but multiple items including some large items like the bag for our lawnmower, my grandmother's sewing box and a large metal stand for our rabbit cage. Our BBQ and an antique table were broken in transit. QMM did replace the broken door on the BBQ but I haven't heard anything about my antique table top (we moved in September). Regarding our multiple missing items I was sent a form to fill out asking for the tag number of the missing items - the items are missing, I don't have a photographic memory - how am I supposed to know the tag number? I filled out the form (it took 2 pages to list all my missing items) and painstakingly priced out the replacement costs for my missing items using Amazon, Ebay (for my antiques), Canadian Tire etc. It's been 3 months since we moved and I've had 1 item returned to me. The rest are in limbo. The basic gist of QMM's attitude regarding the loss of my items is "sucks to be you". I would not recommend this company to anyone. ETA: I received a phone call from the president of the company personally apologizing for them losing our stuff. I was sent a form to sign (waiver of liability) and a cheque to cover some of the cost of our lost items. As we've settled into the house and begun home improvement projects my husband has found a number of more missing items. Still, they did apologise and send a cheque.

QMM is a moving company that listens and understands what the customer needs. I was moving from BC to southern California and the communication from QMM was exceptional. I contacted two other moving companies and QMM was exceptional in their customer service. Any question I had was answered fully and in fact every thing was so clearly and thoroughly explained that I didn't have many questions. From the logistic officer in Toronto down to the actual movers I can say the service was impeccable. I will definitely use them again if I have to move cross country again. QMM doesn't own the trucks or do the driving. Their business is to present a unified team of professionals to quote, plan and execute your move. The actual packing, loading and transport is done by independent contractors. Our self-packed possessions were transported to a storage facility and then loaded on a cross-country trailer along with two other unrelated households. At least two crews, perhaps three were involved in moving our boxes in various locations. Upon unloading at our new home, there were several boxes that had two ID numbers on them, indicating that two boxes had been consolidated into one. All ID numbers were accounted for but once the movers left we struggled to find several items. Contacted our QMM Relocation Co-ordinator regarding the missing items and was referred to the Claims Department. After all the "sorrys", I filled out the form listing the missing and damaged items. One of the missing items was an HP Laserjet Pro M1 multifunction printer/scanner, about the size of Labrador Retriever. I am certain that it was loaded onto QMM's truck but did not arrive at the destination. The other items were smaller and less valuable but the reality is that we are missing possessions. The Claims Department Manager communicated with me solely through email. He would not speak with me. His stance was since all ID numbers were accounted for then all our possessions made the trip. His "final" offer was to pay for the obviously damaged possessions and a $200 "Goodwill" payment for the missing possessions. I sent a written letter to QMM 30 days prior to this review and have not been contacted to resolve the issue. I can not recommend them as a mover as the Claims Department Manager has treated me as either a thief or a liar.

It was an okay move, but boxes had clearly been dropped and/or crushed (boxes were new so damage was easy to spot), and they smashed the corner of a drafting table I've owned for 20+ years and moved overseas (Australia) and back without significant damage only to have them cause permanent damage to it during a 3-hour's journey. Items which had specifically been marked with "This Side Up" notations and arrows on multiple sides were also unloaded on the wrong side, so overall I don't feel particular care was taken when handling all my things. They also bashed a 1-inch dent into the wall I didn't notice until a couple days after I'd signed off on the delivery and the driver had left, so I get to fix that as well. I've certainly had far worse moves, but those things and the inconsistent/slow communication (typically 2-3 days for a response unless it involved an invoice they wanted me to pay) were disappointing to me so those cost them marks. You could certainly do worse, but for what I paid, I had hoped for a bit better.

Moved with my partner from Toronto to Calgary in February. Great experience all around. Never felt in doubt about anything. Tyler and Abbigail were super responsive and helped set decent expectations pre-move. John was the driver at both ends. John was super professional and great to be around in general. Definitely didn't expect our moving pro's to be so nice and personable but they all were. Did an excellent job wrapping up our valuable items and helping us set things up when we moved in. Would use again! Albeit - I sure as heck don't want to move anytime soon.

Most inquiries required following up several times to get an answer, email was lost in spam (really?!), after insisting for a week she realizes on the last day that I was right about time not being enough for the pack & load which made us rush everything, and she forgot to provide details for the car export (perhaps I was expecting too much proactivity) making me spend 5 hours for an additional trip to US Customs and Border Patrol.

I had not hired QMM myself, but rather they were contracted by the international company that I had hired, and perhaps this is part of why my experience was so negative: I was simply the bottom of their priority list. The overall theme of my experience with QMM was confusion and disorganisation. From the very beginning, QMM was unable to provide any concrete information, with reassurances that more information would be available "soon." QMM provided the customs documents on a Monday, and on the Wednesday they called, and insisted that I provide them with the date I would be clearing customs and emphasised that I needed to do it as soon as possible. Understanding this as urgent, I made the necessary arrangements - despite living three hours from Toronto (the nearest CBSA office) - and cleared customs the day after they called. I provided them with the paperwork the same day, which they confirmed they received. Apparently this matter was not as urgent as their phone call to me had implied, as QMM would not provide a delivery date, an estimated delivery date, or even a timeline for when I might have a delivery date. After two full weeks with only promises that I would know "soon," and QMM having had all of my belongings for 4 weeks, I asked for the reason for the delay, or if there was any update. They were not able to provide any further information. As I had not contracted them myself, I began to grow concerned and contacted the company I had hired, who assured me this was not at all normal and they contacted QMM themselves. The following business day, QMM informed me that the reason they had been unable to deliver my belongings was because of an additional charge, that had been incurred nearly 5 weeks prior, that I had not yet paid - even though this was the first I had heard of it. They said that if I paid this fee, my items could be delivered in two days time. As soon as I made the payment over the phone, I was informed that there had been a "miscommunication" and there was still no estimated delivery date for my items. Once again, I was told I would know "soon." It was not until after I called and spoke to management that I received a delivery date for my items. All in all, the process was frustrating, lengthy and confusing. I appreciate that there are restrictions due to COVID-19 but I would have preferred some answer, at some stage, instead of vague promises of maybe receiving an answer in the future. If it were not for the actual movers, who were absolutely brilliant and absolutely worth 5 stars, this would have been a 1 star review.

I recently relocated from Windsor, ON, Canada, to Western Colorado. At the origin, Windsor Truck and Storage handled my loading -- but it was Don from QMM Toronto Office who drove my stuff down and unloaded it with local agents. Don was reliable and courteous, calling me from the road once he successfully crossed the border to update me on his exact day and time of arrival. He was pleasant and professional to deal with, and ensured that everything was done satisfactorily and to my liking. Aside from a solitary little lamp that broke (which was baffling -- since the box it was in was perfectly intact), everything arrived in very good condition and was handled very well; everything was unloaded quickly and efficiently, and any furniture that had been dismantled to save space was reassembled for me. If and when I return home to Canada, I'll be reaching out to QMM Toronto Office directly.

Don't be fooled. They're just like every other moving company. They arrived, walked in the door and one of the movers took a cr*p in my toilet. The toilet I had never even sat on myself and just paid cleaners to clean. They didn't have enough runners so only one guy came into the house with his shoes off, meaning my husband had to help move everything. Why did I pay movers if my husband was going to move everything. Since when do customers have to help move?!

I picked this company because a friend recommended them. My move couldn't have been easier for them. It was small and I packed up all of my things myself. They charged a lot for such an easy move, and took 2 months to deliver my belongings. They insisted i pay them in full before they would even schedule a date to delivery my belongings. It was overwhelming to choose a moving company for a long distance Canada-Us move with a large family. We decided to go ahead with QMM. Prior to the move, Tyler and Ana were absolutely amazing. Every email or phone calls were answered promptly and some paperwork was a bit confusing but they were great at helping us out. We always felt we were not alone in this process. And the movers and driver (Jake) were fast, efficient, polite and very nice. Everything went smoothly because of all of them. We are very happy we chose them!

It was difficult to find a company who we could trust since there are so many horror stories online about cross-country moving. Since we have never done this before, we started the moving process with confusion, frustration, and many questionable quotes from a variety of moving companies. Finally, we found QMM. They were attentive and transparent with the moving expectations and cost (e.g., our final cost was quite close to the estimate - so no surprise increase - and they provided a detailed breakdown of the costs with explanations for each fee). Ana and Tyler were incredibly helpful answering our questions and making sure that our moving experience went smoothly. The movers from Allied Van Lines were quick, careful, friendly, and very professional. We received everything much sooner than expected and nothing was damaged or broken. It was an absolute pleasure working with QMM and we highly recommend their services.

From a sales person (Tyler) and my customer manager (Anna), to my actual mover/truck driver (Jake), everything was outstanding and everyone was so professional. Because of my work, I have moved a quite number of times in my career, but this move was by miles the best and smoothest move I have ever had despite the fact that it was a cross-boarder move from Canada to the States. Having my truck driver who also packed, loaded, unloaded, and unpacked from the origin to the destination was seamless and so beneficial since I dealt with the same person. Jake was great from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend QQM for anyone if he/she expects the best moving experience.

The staff on the Vancouver side we’re great including the packers, however everything went downhill from there. Our shipment sat in Vancouver for a full month after it was packed. The staff on the Australia side were barely more than useless, we got juggled around to three or four different agents and could never get a straight answer about what was going on with our shipment. When we did receive our shipment 5 months later all our belongings were covered in a black soot which no one could explain. It was far too costly for this level of poor service.

Not me but a friend of mine used them to move from Toronto to Winnipeg and 75% of his boxes and items were destroyed. Not a couple folded edges on boxes, like destroyed. I am moving at the end of next month and was going to use them but not sure I can do that based off what I have seen.
