I never had a problem with communicating back and forth during shipment and for my belongings in their storage. They are extremely friendly and kind individuals. I received my belongings just the way I gave it to them and to top it off their pricing is reasonably affordable. I definitely recommend anyone needing these services to use them. You will not be disappointed.

Your team on Jan 22 was awesome! Focused at the task, didn't hesitate at anything on the go. When an issue came up with basketball net they re thought their plan and executed it perfectly to make sure all items fit etc. All 3 were awesome and deserve ????!!! They acted like 3 all stars - came in, did their job and end result satisfaction achieved! I was happy with their work, patience shown and never gave any bad vibe to me or my wife. So very, very disappointed and upset regarding my recent move from Calgary to Ontario. Many missing parts and pieces, lots of damage to my property. They even broke my futon and tried to do a hack job fixing it without even notifying me of the damage. They fixed it by putting on a piece in the wrong spot and now they have done more damage than if they had of been honest and left it alone. All of the damage could have been prevented with proper packing and use of furniture blankets. I now look around my house and it looks like my belongings were pulled from the trash. Please contact me directly if you want more details or an honest review. I would have given 0 stars if possible.

HK Movers helped us move from Toronto to Vancouver. Over all I was very satisfied with the move. It took couple of weeks. the price was very fair. $3600 for almost 3400 Pounds. they were polite. they pick the stuff, unassembled the furniture and reassembled back on arrival. no damage to my stuff. I think they can be better with communication. they initially tried to reschedule the date a week before the move. i declined to change. also I had to keep asking them about the arrival date. and he had not had the final date till a couple of days before arrival which can make the arrangement for the move-in difficult. over all I am very satisfied and probably one of the least expensive ones for long distance moves.

Made such a stressful transition so easy. The guys came in and wrapped all my furniture. They handled it with such care and I was so happy. They were also so gentle and caring for me too, all the questions I had they answered. They even delivered earlier than promised and on delivery they assembled my bed and other things so good. HK Movers - they KNOW their job. Recommended. Our move (entire 2 BR household) from Mississauga to Calgary (about 3200 kms during December winter and snow!) was taken care of by HK Movers, and they did a good job. I got to know them from BBB (Better Business Bureau), and they had really-really good reviews. (4.95 out of 5, I believe) They loaded things efficiently, was flexible, transported within allotted time. Pricing is industry standard I felt. Everything arrived safely. So Recommended!!!

I recently bought a washing machine. Big companies refused to take the machine to the second floor to the laundry room, due to current circumstances. However, H.K.Movers were quick and happy to help! They were so efficient, quick and friendly! They came and took my old machine and replaced it with the new one and even installed it! They were so friendly. Also, the price they offered was the best I found for so much service. They really impressed us. These guys are old school. Maintaining all the records and bookings manually but they are far superior than so called high tech moving companies. They understand that moving in a stressful task, especially when you are moving from Toronto to Calgary or for the matter any long distance moving. HK Movers are reliable and trustworthy. We had Mark and his team, move us, for the first part of an across country move( our house deal fell thru 6 days before we had to move) Mark and his team, moved everything into storage , it was an amazing experience, we were so stressed with our circumstance of not having a home, did not think we could have dealt with a move. Booked HK Movers a month in advance of our actual move in July from Brampton to Kingston, ON. The guys were supposed to arrive at 9 Am the day of move pack our stuff in the truck and the truck was supposed to be parked in their yard and we would move the next day. But we received a call a day before our actual move and were told they would arrive at 6 AM to move us same day. This was totally unexpected. Anyways, we agreed and they arrived on time at 6AM on the move date. As soon as they parked the truck on our driveway, they started loading the truck with whatever items they saw on their way inside the house. They did not dismantle our furniture or shrink wrap anything. They were totally disorganized and looked like they wanted to do a quick job and dump our stuff at the destination. We intervened and asked them to do a proper job of carefully packing our furniture into the truck as promised by the owner when we initially booked their service. We called the owner of the company but the owner also wasn't willing to ensure we were going to be provided with the best service. The guy supervising the move was acting like he was the owner of the business and eventually refused to move us that day. He got the guys to remove our belongings from the truck and left. Horrible service. They run a shoddy business. Luckily, we had an additional day before we closed and booked another company from whom we already had an earlier quote from and they agreed to help us out. If I had a choice I wouldn't give them any stars at all.

Best delivery guys i have ever used. They moved us across the province and had no issues at all. The guys who came to load the stuff were fast and efficient. No extra charges for paintings and other nonsense..just one flat rate. Did not damage anything during our move and during unloading it took them 3 hours longer than what i was quoted, but there was no extra charge for it. We were very stressed about the move, but they really helped us out. The company has been in business for over a decade and the owner is a true professional and a man of his word. Overall good experience with HK Movers. They are highly professional folks and did all furniture shifting very carefully and top notch. Very focussed snd hardworking. Only issue I gave 4 stars not 5 is my new house was just 200m 1 block away but still paid for 1 hr truck travel cost and assembly/disassembly of a bed took time since he thought it can be moved without complete disassemble but after reaching new house it didn't fit in and he took a long time apprx 1hr. So for 1 bedroom house i paid 3 hrs + 1hr truck with 700$ expenses☹️ I feel they should have charged less as truck travel time is just 2mins from old to new house.

Consequently this meant 2 moves and storage for 2 1/2 months. Moved from Brampton to Whitby with full household stuff a month back. Googled local movers in Brampton and found HK Movers, called them up and got a great deal. They arrived the day of the move right on time, did a quick and neat job of diassembling my furniture, packing it, and then assembled it right back quickly at my new home. Charges were almost half the quote from a competitor too. Would happily recommend them.

I recently used H K movers for my junk removal and move within the province. I was pleased with the quality of service I received for both the junk removal and move. The movers placed cloth to avoid scratching the floors in my new home. They also had to wait a few hours to unload the truck since our keys were late for our new place, but the movers were very understanding and patient. One tip I would give to anyone who is moving, is to please remember when packing heavy items use smaller boxes and indicate on the boxes what the contents are for example books, dishes etc. As someone who does heavy lifting for a living I understand the importance of safety and avoiding back strain.

We had a sticky situation of moving our old fridge and hutch in the basement of the house, and the team really went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. I had a hard time finding moving companies that were responsive to my needs. I wanted my stuff to be picked up from Toronto and delivered to Calgary. However I was going to be on vacation for 2 weeks in between. Most moving companies were not able to meet this ask of picking up and delivering after 2 weeks. Also most moving companies were not upfront about all the misc cost, hence it was difficult to know the total cost. H.K. Movers were very responsive to my needs picked up my stuff and delivered after 2 weeks, they also gave me almost exact cost estimate for the move. Highly recommend them for customer service, responsiveness to customer needs and being upfront about total cost. Will definitely use them in future.

We hired H.K Movers for our move from Toronto to Vancouver in June 2019 on the recommendation of a friend who completed a similar long distance move. I can honestly say that they were amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my closest friends and family. Good service but could have been better. Lots of confusion with informing the day of pickup and offloading. No proper communication. Only if you call them again and again. The stuff was packed nicely no doubt. But the best part was the delivery service by the trio Harman, Gurpreet and Ramneek. Offloading done perfectly by these boys. Impressed.

TL;DR Don't cheap out!!!! Just go for a better company. This one is not worth it! To begin, we paid $4500 for them to 1. Break glass (and not clean it up) 2. Leave their trash at our old and new home 3. Play darts at our old home 4. Wrestle in our front yard 5. Put items in the wrong space (and refuse to move it once they did) 6. Insult us 7. Throw fragile boxes around and stack "do not stack" boxes 8. Forget a bunch of items, even when we reminded them multiple times 9. Move items they weren't supposed to and not move items they were supposed to 10. Fill our garage with items (that aren't supposed to be in there) so hard that the garage door can't even close. 11. Blame us for their mistakes all day, and then refuse to do anything about it Not only this, they also did not come with not enough trucks, and then blame us despite having someone come estimate prior! Then they make us wait another day to move, because they took so long! Side note: we moved a whole full 10 foot U-Haul and a full car by ourselves and they still were missing a 15 foot truck worth of space. Positives: moved most of our stuff to the new house.

Seems like I am one of the unlucky few that did not have a great experience with H.K Movers. They were highly recommended by a friend so we went with them. We used their services for a move from Hamilton Ontario to North Vancouver. We used their service in July - August 2021 What they did well - - Reasonable prices - Most of our furniture was well packed - Most of our things made it - Transparent Pricing - no surprise hidden costs (apart from the damages my stuff incurred) What they didn't do well - Damaged my Powerblocks dumbbell so that the right one is unusable. Clearly, one of the movers tried to use it and didn't put it back together properly. And then they stored stuff over it so they bent out of shape during transit. That's $600 CAD down the drain. - Didn't show up on the day of pickup. Their system had some issue and they mixed it up - Warned them to be careful with our dining table. Didn't pay attention and let the table fall and damaged one of the metal legs of the table - Delayed arrival at Vancouver. When they did arrive, they didn't give us a heads up and just turned up. I had requested they give us a heads up of a few hours at least. - Didn't seem to care about the few boxes that had been marked fragile. had stuff piled on them. - My stuff had ben poorly packed into the truck. E.g. My guitars had been just tossed in and had a heavy chair on them. Luckily I had bought very heavy duty cases to protect them. They had assured my my guitars would be stored well (flat and on top of the other stuff) - Turned the handlebars of 2 bikes more than 270 degrees stretching the brake lines off. Totally unnecessary. - 3rd Bike was new and was stored over metal grating so the body got all scratched up. And they dented the mudguard on the back tire. - Broke a glass frame - Had stored heavy stuff (like my bikes) over fragile boxes that were bent out of shape I might be a one off but I was deeply disappointed. I cannot recommend them based on my experience

We had an absolutely amazing experience dealing with HK Movers. Harp and his team were exceptional and delivering every single thing that they promised. They went way above and beyond anything that I expected from a moving company. I got there packing service and unpacking service and I couldn’t believe how well they took care of my belongings. Everything was double triple wrapped and they took their Time to ensure nothing was going to be damaged and everything was placed where was supposed to be placed. I definitely would use these guys in the future and for life I am going to be an HK Movers fan. I had so many negative experiences with moving companies, these guys totally blew me away. This is hands down the BEST moving company in the whole GTA area. The trio of guys (Sukhi, Robin, and Kirat) came to my house on time and didn’t stop working until all of my things were shifted to my new house. They are very hard working, honest, friendly, and efficient. It was Kirat’s first day on the job but the other 2 guys were extremely professional and knowledgeable so the work was flawless. They did everything I asked for and more. Excellent price, excellent work ethic, and amazing customer service is what you can expect from these movers. Not like other movers where they add hidden fees and only do half the work. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking for movers.

We heard so many things about the movers scams and so scared to go through the movers but thank goodness we found HK Movers from the day when they visited us till we got our stuffs everything was perfect ????????..we moved from Brampton to Fort McMurray. They packed all our big stuffs and delivered on the day as they promised. Before taking our stuffs they did call us to check the actual weight of the the vehicle and then again they weighed our stuffs in front of us and told us how much it will cost that same amount they charged us on the day we received our stuffs..absolutely trustworthy, reliable and honest.
