They did the job well and only broke 1 drawer. But they didn't honor the price they sgreed with me. I told them it was a half hour drive from the house to our place. We agreed on $200. On the way home I asked if they could make a stop at our old place for a few more items. We agrees on a new price of $350. They charged us $475 at the end. It was a horrible experience. Definitely don't trust what they say! UNTRUSTWORTHY

I check if it is possible to reduce workers' time and travel costs since the company is only 2.6km from my home and I was moving only 8.5km from my home! We agree on 2.5 hours of work instead of the usual minimum of the company which is 3 hours. Then he told me that he would charge me only 30 minutes of travel instead of an hour. I confirm everything by text and send him the estimates of $ 260 + txs according to our discussion. Following its confirmation, I am delighted and I proceed with the reservation for the date of my move. I didn't need a lot of time, since I just wanted them to help me with the big furniture. For small things and boxes, I brought a little every day to my boyfriend's house, where I was moving! On moving day, the movers call me at 8:30 am to let me know that they have arrived. 15 minutes later, after an interminable delay to park the truck, the men enter. To my surprise, they don't speak French and very difficult to understand their English! In addition, one of the two spoke only his native language (neither French nor English). I felt like they were doing everything to make the time longer as all my furniture in each room was ready to be packed and moved to the truck, but they kept wanting to move furniture around the kitchen or j was making boxes .. So constantly, I had to stop doing what I was doing to accommodate them or even settle down! The way he had parked the truck (not parallel to the sidewalk) was taking up too much space so on 2 occasions they had to move the truck and during this time his colleague was watching him do it. I was calculating my time, so as not to exceed it and after having finally put all the big furniture in the truck I decide to tell them to stop and to set off for the next destination. When we reach our destination, we start to put in the furniture, then return to the important and heavy furniture in the back of the truck, they realize that they have forgotten the “moving straps”. I had to go back to my old accommodation to find them. I wasted 30 minutes for their mistake. Not only was their service hugely unprofessional, they didn't even put carpet in the house or the steps. I had to ask and even there, no precautions were taken to respect the premises. They damaged the walls of the stairwell in 4 places and the floors in 3 places. Not to mention the freshly painted doors and frames. Oh! Did I mention to you what happened during the invoicing? Since they came to me with a bill of almost $ 400. Yes Yes! Much more expensive than expected for a big headache. Nothing to do during the telephone conversation. The owner was yelling on the phone. The worst moving experience ever lived and heard. Je vérifie s'il est possible de réduire le temps des travailleurs et les frais de déplacement puisque l'entreprise est à seulement 2,6km de mon domicile et je déménageais à seulement 8,5km de ce dernier! On convient de 2,5h de travail au lieu du minimum habituel de l'entreprise qui est de 3h. Puis, il me dit qu'il me chargerait seulement 30 minutes de déplacement au lieu d'une heure. Je confirme le tout par texto et lui envoie les estimations de 260$ + txs selon notre discussion. Suite à sa confirmation, je suis ravie et je procède avec la réservation pour la date de mon déménagement. Je n'avais pas besoin de beaucoup de temps, puisque je voulais simplement qu'ils m'aident avec les gros meubles. Pour les petites choses et les boites, j'en apportais un peu chaque jour chez mon copain, chez qui je déménageais! La journée du déménagement, les déménageurs me téléphonent à 8h30 pour me signaler qu'ils étaient arrivés. 15 minutes plus tard, après un délais interminable pour stationner le camion, les hommes entrent. À ma grande surprise, ils ne parlent pas français et très difficile de comprendre leur anglais! De plus, un des deux ne parlaient seulement que sa langue natale (ni français ni anglais). J'avais l'impression qu'ils faisaient tout pour allonger le temps, car tous mes meubles dans chaque pièce étaient prêts à être emballés et déplacés dans le camion, mais ils n'arrêtaient pas de vouloir déplacer des meubles dans la cuisine ou j'étais en train de faire des boites.. Donc constamment, je devais arrêter de faire ce que j'étais en train de faire pour les accommoder ou encore me tasser! La façon dont il avait stationné le camion ( non-parallèle au trottoir) prenait trop de place alors à 2 reprises ils ont dû déplacer le camion et pendant ce temps, son collègue le regardait faire. Je calculais mon temps, pour ne pas le dépasser et après avoir finalement mis tous les gros meubles dans le camion je décide de leur dire d'arrêter et de se mettre en route pour la prochaine destination. Rendus à destination, on commence à rentrer les meubles, puis rendu au meubles importants et lourds dans le fond du camion, ils se rendent compte qu'ils ont oublié les ''straps de déménagement''. J'ai dû retourner à mon ancien logement pour les trouver. j'ai perdu 30 minutes pour leur erreur. Non seulement leur service manquait énormément de professionnalisme, mais ils n'ont même pas mis de tapis dans la maison ni les marches. J'ai dû le demander et même là, aucune précaution n'était prise pour respecter les lieux. Ils ont endommagé à 4 endroits les murs de la cage d'escalier et 3 endroits les planchers. Sans compter les portes et cadrages fraîchement peint. Oh! Vous ai-je mentionné ce qu'il s'est passé lors de la facturation? Puisqu'ils m'est arrivé avec une facture de presque 400$. Oui, oui! Beaucoup plus cher que prévu pour un gros mal de tête. Rien à faire lors de la discussion téléphonique. Le propriétaire criait au téléphone. La pire expérience de déménagement vécue et entendue.

I had a very pleasant experience with the two young lads that did my move. They worked quickly and carefully while being also being friendly. Everything went smooth. I was afraid we would have to undo my bed and reinstall it at my new place which would be a pain and we did have to do such but they made it really easy and installed my bed in no time (would have taken me hours again I’m sure). Really appreciate the experience as I’m quite the worrying kind of person. Decent quote as well! Would recommend and do business with again in the future.

So for July 1st 2018, I had a hired a moving company for 13:00 that never showed up. I was lucky to be able to leave all my stuff at the new tenant's place but had to sleep at a friend's house. I was exhausted and stressed because I knew I had to get my stuff out of there the next day and didn't know if I'd be able to find a comany that fit my budget. I called STC because a good friend of mine had hired them to move some appliances and said they were very professional. I called and spoke to a man named Pavel. That same day, his team arrived EARLIER than expected and finished my move 30 minutes BEFORE my estimation of the time it would take. It was 45° and both the guys worked like beasts but were careful with my items. They talked only when it had to do with the move; they were not wasting time. Their communication concerning logistics was on point, they worked as a team should.During the move, Pavel called to check in and find out how the move was going. Before they arrived at my place, they had done a move and, after me, they were going to do another one!!! I will hire them again and recommend that anyone who needs movers should go with STC without hesitation.

I have used STC moving service for a 4 and half apartment and honestly, I could not ask for more. The service was very neat, clean and professional even with the COVID-19. The guys were very professional and have done their work very efficiently; I have moved 5 times within Montreal and I swear it was the best with no doubt and no competition with the other.
