I asked for a second stop as we had a slight bit of time, they didn’t hesitate to help. Unloading was seamless. They got our belongings where we needed them. Thank you to the crew that came to pack up, and the service team who helped with scheduling. You made our move a great experience.

I am writing this review because rockbrune has put me in a stressful situation of having to find another moving company fairly last minute. I scheduled an appointment with them over a week ago for an inhome evaluation even though all my stuff is in one room in boxes ready to go and told them i could just send them photos of it... but they said no in home evaluation has to occur. I waited patiently excited that everything was coming together. I didn't hear anything from them until 2 hours before my appointment to tell me that they got military moves that they cant turn down therefore my move can no longer occur on the day i want or on the day before or day after. Don't over schedule appointments, as someone that is in a military family and has moved stations before i know that they "didn't have to" to take those moves but are only taking those moves because they would make more money on them than on mine. From a companies perspective i understand but from a clients perspective it is poor business ethics. Beware if your scheduling an in home evaluation with this company, they might cancel yours to schedule someone else.

Our move didn't get started as early in the day as we had anticipated and ran later into the night than we had hoped. The crew let us know that they may need to unload one of the trucks the next day, but would do their best. When the trucks arrived at their destination and the movers started to unload, the power went out on our street and the house back up generator only kept a limited amount of lights going. I would not have blamed these guys if they called it quits for the night, but they kept going and emptied both trucks with their way being lit by vehicle headlights, candles, flashlights and cellphones ... We were very impressed with the level of care they took in packing and unpacking items, ensuring everything got to its proper place, and especially for getting everything done in less than ideal circumstances. Just waiting on a piano delivery now ... Hopefully not too long on that last piece that had to come separately.

We have moved 7 times from one coast to the other. We have never had a better move then the one done by Rockbrune Movers! (Barrie to Ottawa). The packers were incredibly efficient and took extra care of all our fragile items. They were friendly and incredibly professional. Special shout out to Michelle! When the truck showed up, I knew it was going to be a good move because the driver came right up and asked to see all the rooms and the backyard. Experience tells me, if the driver doesn't first assess the load, he/she does not have a plan on how to load it. I was not wrong. Chris and his crew worked in the 35 degree heat with deliberate and measured teamwork. I took one look at how Chris was stacking the load and I knew he was treating our stuff like he would treat his own. 4 days later a truck pulls up to our new house and wouldn't you know it, Chris was the driver. They unloaded with the same care and attention to detail as they had demonstrated when they loaded our furniture. Shout out to Squeaks! Once everything was out of the boxes, there was absolutely no damage or missing items! Best move ever! John and his team are first rate. I would not hesitate to move with Rockbrune Movers. Extremely highly recommended.

We just used Rockbrune movers for the 2nd time in a year. Our first experience was a (long distance) relocation move. They were punctual, professional, honest and efficient. They treated our belongings like their own. We can't say enough about Joey, John and their team. Our second experience was a smaller furniture delivery and once again these guys came through. They gave us a delivery window of 45 mins...unheard of!! They were on time and in and out in 15 mins. If you want something done the right way you need to check these guys out, they take the stress out of moving. Highly recommended!

They were great workers, very accommodating (there was some rodent damage), polite, and easy to talk to. They made my already hectic and stressful move so much easier. Pure professional. So I called Rockbrune Bros Movers them last Wednesday after being stood up by another moving company and explained what had happened. Spoke with Joe and he seemed sympathetic to my situation and said he had availability for our move. I was elated. He said his brother John would be able to do a quote either Thursday or Friday. When I didn’t hear back on Thursday I called and was told John wouldn’t be able to come over until Tuesday. No problem. On Tuesday I received a call from John explaining he would be about 30 minutes late being it was the first day of school for his kids. Again, I said absolutely no problem, I understand. I appreciated the call. He came went through the home. I called later that after to make sure everything went well. It did and John told me I would have a quote by the next morning. When I didn’t hear back by noon on Wednesday I thought I’d better call. Joe answers the phone and I introduce myself and he says we can’t do your move. I’m sorry what!! Are you freaking kidding me? No we booked a “government job last night and we can’t accommodate you”. Obviously flabbergasted I asked how this could happen. I don’t understand. He proceeds to tell me that I didn’t put a deposit down to hold the move and they can’t hold a spot. YOU DIDN’T ASK ME TO! He also proceeded to tell me John didn’t know about this job. Well maybe not but you obviously did!!! I spoke to you FIRST!! They didn’t even have the common curtesy to call me first thing that morning to let me know - nope - they waited for me to call to see where the quote was. When I asked why “well, we are really busy “. WOW. To say I’m furious would be an understatement.

Cruel treatment on animals. One of the drivers had their own dog chained to the side of the moving truck while it whined and barked. When it wouldn't stop they taped his mouth shut! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!

Worst mistake was letting them touch my furnishings. From the time we were loaded, the way the trailer was parked wouldn’t allow the doors to close so we sat there from 4:30 when they were done until almost 11 pm staring at the back of the trailer. When it was loaded they left and said the truck would be along shortly. After multiple phone calls getting the run-around, they finally showed up at almost 11 at night. When it arrived at destination, even the unpackers were shocked at how it was packed. More damage than I’ve ever seen (after many, many moves. We were told it was being looked into and we’d be contacted to arrange a way to address it. After chasing our tail for months with this, they tell us we had 90 days to fill out a request form. Now we’re left with wrecked beds, a couch with a bent frame, multiple pictures damaged, antique family heirlooms broken, etc. I could go on for several pages with damages. The end result is after them telling us it would get addressed and someone would be in touch (and of course no one was) then we find out we were supposed to fill out a form to let them know there was damage and we weren’t satisfied?!?! To you this may be a job but this is peoples lives. If you don’t understand that, perhaps you’re in the wrong line of work.
