You can hire companies to boost your ratings, be warned. My daughter and her military veteran husband used them to move their stuff over month ago from California to Texas. Their stuff somehow ended up in Chicago, and no one is telling her when she will get her stuff. They have 2 young girls age 3 and 1. They are left in an empty house with nothing except for what they packed in the truck. Worst company ever. If the Owner sees this please, give my daughter her stuff. It's bad enough not having your belonging, but to also not know when you will get them is horrible. And no one answers the phone, or emails. They even had to get the police involved. B3484189. And don't bother with your standard sorry response. Just give them their stuff back!

Job No: B3486990 SAVE YOURSELF STRESS AND HEARTACHE!! Do NOT do business with Global Moving LLC!!!! I believe Moving Global should be DISBARRED from their accreditation with the BBB. They made false promises when I was first in contact with them about my move. They PROMISED me a guaranteed delivery date in August and I did not receive my household goods shipment until mid-October. The business has astoundingly AWFUL customer service and would hang up on me when I attempted to inquire about my two month late shipment. When I finally got my household goods, all my things seemed to be packed without a care in the world. I had multiple pieces of furniture damaged. Global Moving LLC even lost my TV. It is just an awful awful company. No one cares at all about your possessions, or care about you as a customer. The business just tries to get more customers by making false claims and promises that seem great at first, and then finds way to upcharge you at any possible turn. Again just a horrible, terrible company. THEY SHOULD LOSE THEIR BBB ACCREDITATION

Bottom line-- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I moved from Georgia to Colorado earlier this year and went with Global Movers as they gave me a more than reasonable estimate and promised timely service. My move was originally scheduled for 27-29 June and the original customer service rep I spoke with, Ashley, promised me that they could get it done. I had informed them that this was a military move and that I would need weight tickets so the Army could reimburse me for the out of pocket expenses needed for a move. I was told a note of that was made and that weight tickets would be given to me upon delivery. The 27th came and I received a phone call that they would have to push my move back until the first of July. I was annoyed, but I tried to be understanding of their situation, as it was the middle of summer and I figured there was a lot going on. I was promised to hear something by the end of that week to make sure everything was squared away. The next phone call I received was from a different rep named Chelsea. She informed me that my move would have to be pushed back further to the 8th due to their truck breaking down and that she would speak with her supervisor to try and get me some form of compensation for the inconvenience. I was appreciative because it looked like something that would be helpful was going to be done. I was promised that by the end of the day, I would hear something back about the compensation and about any updates on my move. Let me be the first to tell you that from this point on the only time I ever heard from these representatives again-- barring ONE phone call-- was when I called THEM, and I often had to give the entire run down about who I was and what was going on to the SAME representatives I had been working with. I called Chelsea's phone directly the next day. She had totally forgotten who I was or what was going on with my move, and I gave her the rundown again. Again, I was promised to receive a phone call by the end of the day, but no such action was taken. This time I waited several days to call back, hoping that they would call me with updates. Nothing. I ended up calling the customer service number to try and get the ball rolling there, and was ultimately left to leave a voicemail. I voiced my concerns, and waited. This went on until a few days before my furniture got to Colorado. I called back to get an update on where the truck was and to find out how much they would take off the move. Chelsea asked me, "And what exactly do you expect to be compensated for?" When I told her because of the poor customer service as well as the inconvenience of pushing my pickup date back well over a week and some change, as well as the fact that she had promised me something would happen, she told me she'd call me back by the end of the day with an update. After all that, I got a whopping $100 off my (expected) $3375 move. Thanks Doug. The day before they arrived, the movers called me and told me that they would be there the next day and what I'd have to have in cash for the next day. Thank God I withdrew $2200 out of my account the day before in anticipation of additional charges because I paid $2225 after all was said and done. The final cost of this move was $4770 and they had no weight tickets at delivery. For those unfamiliar, the Army reimburses a soldier based on the weight of their household goods. I called back AGAIN, and this time Kristi answered the phone. She was very understanding and was willing to work with me through this. She had promised by the end of the week to have something that could help me get reimbursed. I made the note with her name and phone number in my phone on 29 July. I have called back numerous times, and have heard absolutely NOTHING from this company as of writing this review on 09 September 2020. I've even gone as far as to call from other phones to maybe see if they'd answer then-- but no dice. I’d find a different company. I doubt I’ll get that phone call from them that truly shows a desire to help me out. Save your money, run like hell.

I called the number you listed below...it goes STRAIGHT to Christie, who has ignored all calls and communication since last week. Why are you are ignoring our calls, our emails, our myriad efforts to induce a professional response from you? Folks, if you are reading this review: this company has been HELL to work with. Zero updates on plans, zero communication, they are ignoring our phone calls, ignoring emails. Do not be fooled. I'm still not convinced this is a legitimate company. Avoid. at. all. costs. Is anyone else currently having a NIGHTMARE experience with Global Moving LLC right now? It can't possibly just be us! Our belongings have been stored in a warehouse in Chicago with NO plan communicated for our move to VA, constantly dodging communication, tons of excuses, no leadership to find a solution, scheduling is VERY behind with no sense of resolution in sight. Who else is experiencing this nightmare with this company? Unwilling to hire more people to help, rent trucks to fulfill contractual obligations. Extremely unprofessional, poor planners, poor communication. By the way, I'm HAPPY to take this review down once it no longer reflects our experience with this extremely unprofessional company!

I was anxious, since moving would be challenging because of very small and busiest parking area before our apartment. The team was a great problem solver and goal-oriented that they found out a way that wouldn’t bother the neighborhood and would be feasible. A lorry was used to pickup and load boxes in the truck. Terrible moving company. Cynthia, Doug, and Max managed my move. They delivered my things a couple days shy of a month after my original delivery date was set. Mind you, the contract says 14 day max window for delivery for my location. My original delivery date was missed because my things "did not make it on the truck". The 2nd delivery date was missed because "the truck was routed to a different location". Finally, they delivered my stuff almost a month after I requested. I have requested compensation on numerous occasions with no response. I am told my case is pending and have not received an update after being told repeatedly that someone would call me. I will never use this company again. Save yourself the stress by moving your own things or go with a different company.

I Would like to point out that all reviews in this space that rate global moving llc that rate this company only one star is only because there is not a zero star option. Note this company responds to bad rating with a comment that they can not find a record of their move. Please note this cookie cutter comment is similar to how they treat your prized possessions. I can not put into words the lack of satisfaction I have with this company. $0.60 on the pound for your damaged goods noted in the contract and they take advantage of that with your items. In addition, Please never utilize their storage services! List of issues: never showed up on time; Waited to late in the day and week to pressure only option; Jacked up pricing to more than double at pick up; Bad record keeping on packed items; water damage from storage; crushed boxes; broken glass; damaged wood furniture; only Russian speaking movers upon delivery; not equipped with proper tools; drop and go mentally; had to pay them to take trash left behind. Hire them if you like filling out paperwork on your damaged property. Please understand I never make comments or do reviews…the service was bad I decided I should warn others.

I am very angry of this company, I spent over $2000 to have my 6 suitcases to be delivered from illinois to virginia, and they lost one. i have contacted the company for 2 days by email and by phone, and no one responded. it is vey irresponsible. the delivery guy said he only picked up 5 at chicago, it was either lost or missed to be pickup before it was delievered here. the service people will forever be out of reach when you call them. they ask you to leave a message, but they will never call you back! very very BAD service. For the past two days, I have been in contact with representatives of Global Moving LLC., to confirm the pickup date for my move (Job no. B3488329). Each time I have been told someone would return my call once the date had been confirmed, each day ends without receiving a return call or an update from the company. During my conversation with a representative named Doug this morning, they requested that I provide proof of the wire payment which I sent immediately to your attention. They then committed to provide a full refund of the deposit amount once I provided them with the wire confirmation. I have provided them with all the documentation proving the wire was sent and received for my move. During our last conversation, Doug committed to have someone, “possibly a manager” from within the organization contact me to resolve this issue within 30 minutes, which has again not happened, so I reached out via telephone again to resolve this matter. Global Movers LLC has failed to honor it’s commitment to initiate my move as committed in the agreement, therefore once again I am requesting an immediate refund of the deposit amount paid on 8/6/21 via wire transfer today 8/12/21.

Illinois and Indiana Attorney General will be alerted. I’m also reaching out to my state and US representatives. It’s my perception that this Company does not abide by Federal regulations. I will not stand by and allow more victims to be victimized by their practices. More specifically changing a binding estimate to non binding when there has been no change to the inventory list, not weighing their shipments, not providing people with their registered tariffs, using cubic feet dimensions that are mathematically impossible, not returning calls, not providing inventory lists/survey reports when they use non binding estimates, etc. I guess they should think twice before they rip off a person with a compliance background. I read regulations for a living. I am very familiar with FMCSA (aka DOT) This will all be exposed. Help me expose them. They need an audit of their bills of ladings.

Their customer service representatives do not have any useful information when you call and do not follow up. They will damage and break your things. Literally could not be more serious about this warning: THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE! I have moved 3 times in the last 3 years, so I know how this is supposed to work. 1. Inventory was done sloppily over the phone. Every other move has been a virtual tour where they can accurately get a feel for the inventory. 2. When we were ready to finalize our quote, I had to track down multiple people to accomplish it - this should have been my first real red flag. Seriously, it was hard to get anyone to respond to my text, call, or email. 3. At time of booking, we paid a 25% deposit and were verbally told 50% of remaining fee would be due at pick up and the rest at delivery. NO ONE TOLD US THAT THE PICK UP AND DELIVERY DUES WERE FORMS OF CASH ONLY. 4. At some point, someone is supposed to call and do a Quality Assurance check before the scheduled move. I got 3 texts, asking when would be a good time. I responded "today" on all 3 attempts, no one ever called. I began to think it was a spam offshore text and just moved on. Looking back, SO much of the confusion could have been solved here if they would have known how to truly communicate. 5. Our sales rep (WHO WE NEVER SPOKE TO) apparently is no longer with the company and we were never notified. I found out when calling on day 2 of the move when everything was falling apart. 6. Someone was supposed to call us 24-48 hours before the moving window and never did. I spent all day calling, texting, and emailing every contact I had before someone told me the movers would be there the very next day. Great planning when we have children, paying for 2 homes, and a storage facility already. 7. When the movers arrived, the initial quote was off by more than half. We were outraged and were planning on calling the deal off but it was 8pm already and we were backed into a corner with all of the other moving parts in play. 8. The movers told us the next morning that they would not be able to deliver until 7 to 17 business days. Now the contract does say that, but the one time I got someone on the phone, they did not say that was the case when we told them we needed as close to immediate delivery as possible. She said that would be something we could work out when they called to confirm appointment (which no one ever did). 9. The movers also forgot to have us sign the contract that said forms of cash was the only form of payment. We told them we could only pay via credit card as our company relocation package would not be available until we got to the new site, they proceeded to pack for an entire day, assuming the funds portion would be worked out. 10. We immediately called corporate to figure things out at 9am and was told that a manager would not be available until 12:30 or 1pm. 11. When we spoke to the RUDEST person on the planet, Doug Parker, he took no responsibility for the missteps along the way and spoke very unprofessionally. 12. Decided to cancel services based on the interaction with Doug, and still no apologies, just more emails about how they plan to screw us out of more money. I would pay the full $20,000 and still not use this joke of a company. There is more. Could not tell you enough that using this company would be the worst mistake of your life!

They are big ***SCAM*****, be aware don't use them for Inter State Move. I booked Global Movers to move my house holds from Illinois to North Carolina at the time of booking I have been informed they will deliver my house hold items in 3 to 4 days, that was just the beginning of lies, once they picked up my house hold items on 07/22/2020, they said it may take 3 to 10 days(Maximum) to delivered my house hold items, but they delivered my items on 08/11/2020. But their bad service does not stop here, they broke my furniture and also they lost my lots of items including my mattress and bicycle can you imagine the lost such a big item, they don't care about you or your items, they took all the money from you, that's it, my sofa was broken and multiple households were missing, mover at the time of delivery acknowledge about broken items and missing item and told me he will talk with his manger to fix the issue, but till today 08/30/2020 issue is not resolved. I will never use their service in future, I would suggest other folks also not use their service, they are BIG SCAM, stay away from them. Once you pay them all your money they will not reply your emails or phone calls, doesn't matter how many times you call or email.

(Take note, I did not hire them.) After unloading the truck to find MULTIPLE (more than 5, but less than 10) pieces of furniture damaged including irreparably broken, glass shattered and other antique and sentimental pieces broken into PIECES, the moving company trucks broke a huge chunk of cement from the driveway, scraped a DEEP pit into the driveway with their truck, took out the mailbox AND hit the back end of this pictured vehicle. The vehicle didn't belong to the in-laws, it was ours. The moving company REFUSES to talk to us because we were not on the contract. (They are also denying responsibility to the in-laws.) They REFUSE to take responsibility for the vehicle damages DESPITE the fact that there is a text from one of the movers, AN ACTUAL EMPLOYEE OF GLOBAL MOVING LLC stating that it was one of their drivers that hit the truck. DO NOT HIRE THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY! We have tried to contact them on the phone, website and through email to resolve this. They refuse to give us the contact information for moving forward with this claim. We too dealt with the previously BAD reviewed North Carolina company of DOUG and CHRISTIE! What a horrible experience this has been. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER--DO NOT USE GLOBAL MOVING LLC. If you choose them, just know that you will not see your delivery when they promise, you will pay more than the estimate they give you, you won't have any updates on your delivery, you will be ignored and you will waste money. Once the contract was signed and deposit paid, I was unable to get a hold of anyone from the company. Christie Strong ignored nearly every phone call and email. My stuff was picked up on 15 JUN and wasn't delivered until 16 JUL when I was all but guaranteed delivery between 2-4 JUL. They wouldn't unload my stuff until I paid them significantly more than my quote. They refused to give me a final price based on the actual cubic ft of my shipment (my estimated shipment was 909 cubic ft and 6363 lbs). My actual weight was only 3500 lbs yet they charged me even more. This was the absolute worst moving experience I have ever had. This company should not be able to be in business. They are unethical and deceitful. Their customer service is abysmal. Their lack of transparency and communication is criminal. A company should not be able to just ignore their customers without any contact back. They should be held to some reasonable standard and should not be able to treat customers this way. I can't warn you enough not to use this company at any cost. Worst decision I could have made and cost me thousands of dollars extra in addition to a constant stress of not knowing when or if my stuff would ever get delivered.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! I have never used a long distance moving company. After receiving a quote from other movers I decided to go with Global. My scheduled pick up was confirmed for July 31, 2020. I received a call from the driver stating that they he won’t make but will be there tomorrow morning, he showed up at almost 2pm in a enterprise rental truck(flag).We went over paperwork and the second payment was given(half of the remaining quote). They were professional for the most part and worked efficiently. At the end when finishing, he goes over the inventory and the priced quote goes from 3600 to 5400. I was furious I can expect a few hundred dollars give or take but almost $2000, really. Anyway you can’t get in contact with anyone, there is no customer service, the line is just another scam if you ask me because it’s never answered, Good luck Update: I finally received my items, the driver and movers were nice but young and didn’t know how to reassemble some of the items. My 70in tv was damaged, I’ve been calling for a week and of course, no answer. While they accept a cashiers check for pickup they wouldn’t accept it on delivery. So I had to figure out where to get almost $2000 in cash, I have a credit union that’s out the state. I’ve had some pretty bad experiences in life but this by far is the absolute worst. Save your time and money

Please do not sign with this company. They are not members of the BBB which should have given me a clue. They called me two days before they were to move me and told me they needed to get my stuff the next day instead. I spent the rest of the night getting stuff ready because l was told they would be there by 3 p.m. l waited the entire day and here comes the movers at 8 p.m. The two guys sent were nice and efficient but they gave me no receipt for my items. That worried me a bit. They picked up my stuff on 8/26/2020 and here it is 9/18/20 and l still don't have my items. They have been paid in advance by my sister as a gift to me. I have begged them several times to let me know something. It was just yesterday 9/17/2020, that l got a delivery date for 9/22. Each time l had contacted them, l have been told l would get info. Ashley the representative who took inventory of my items, ignore all my requests for information after the contracts were signed. I resulted to pleading for my items and finally heard something definite yesterday. This is not right. I trusted them with my valued possessions and l have yet to receive them. I will update this review on 9/22. Don't sign with this company or you may regret it like l do. I see others have given this company positive reviews. Why was my move so badly done? How is it that l did not receive quality service? Update Here it is 9/26 and one calendar month since my items were picked up and l still dont have them. They have been jerking me around and l just found out that they have few requests to go to MS and they have been waiting for something to come up. I wished l had know this from the beginning. They have been stalling all this time and want to off me 270 bucks for the inconvenience. They have been paid almost $3000, have kept my items for 30 calendar days and denying me the option of picking up my items sooner. I am supposed to get delivered on 9/28. They may think that this puts them within their 30 day DOT rule but l have it in writing from Doyg that my estimated delivery is between 7/21 business days. They have not been honest with me and have not acted in good faith. Stay away from this company if you want stuff to gi to MS.

*****SCAM ALERT****** Worst experience with a moving company by far! Complete scam! They rough quote you over the phone, in which I over estimated because I know the game, and I still had to pay an additional $3k in charges because of the space my belongings filled. But when they dropped off the trucks weren't nearly as full and they want you to sign off right as they get there. They "count" your belongings when loading, not delivering. We are missing a lot of our belongings and wanted a refund on the extra charges. Christie from sales/customer service offered me only $200 back and only if i took down my original review. I never took it down and somehow it's been deleted. A lot of these 5 star reviews are from their drivers and employees. Very shady company and I would not recommend using them even to my worse enemy. Todd from sales acted like the owner and said I would have no further charges when placing my order. I order 75 large boxes and they only packed in wardrobe boxes, Christie is a scam artist that never answers her phone, and then a guy name Doug texts (only texts) stating the case was escalated to him, but transfers you back to Christie who doesn't answer. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I hired this company the North Carolina Division they were very late to show up to pack and load my apartment for move out to another state. The pick up date was May 28th, the contract states 7-21 days for a move to Washington State. I move into my house on July 3rd, they have all of my belongings, I have called and texted Christie several times with no response. It has been 31 days, so 10 days past the latest delivery of 21 days with no communication or date in sight for delivery. At this point I believe I will have to hire an Attorney to find or get my belongings. Horrible communication.

I would like to leave 0 stars, but that isn't possible. When I contracted this job, I repeatedly asked the booking agent Jason if they were able to move a large safe. He said it would be no issue whatsoever. When the customer care person called the week before the job, I again asked if the movers were going to be able to move the safe. She assured me they would. The day of the move, the crew showed up 6 hours late at 7pm. I immediately took the leader of the barley speaking English speaking crew to the location the safe was at. He said there was no way they could move it today, but they would come back the following day with better equipment and more guys. The following day, they arrived 4 hours late. Same guys, same Harbor Freight dolly (not even an appliance cart). They decided they were going to muscle the safe out. Needless to say, they couldn't do it. But, they did manage to damage the finish on the safe, the floor and the ceiling in my finished basement. Anyway, we completed the move of the rest of my house to the new location (3 hours away). In unloading the contents, they broke the door and frame of a very expensive china cabinet. They dropped a brand new freezer, denting the corner in, broke a office desk, and damaged the door to my new house. I filed a claim for the damages and was led on a well planned out journey that has been designed to frustrate and confuse anyone who attempts it. The claim requires estimates from 3 licensed contractors for any damage caused to your structure. Um, I am moving out of the house you just damaged, how do I have time to get estimates when I now live 3 hours away? Clever. Somehow, out of the 4 items I submitted, Global only received 2, and once a claim is submitted, you cannot make additions. Nice. Now they have received your claim. They bombard you with demands for copies of this, pictures of this, etc. All of which were included with the original claim, but they "need them resubmitted" I'm sure this is in hopes that the information is misplaced or you just don't get it to them by the deadline so they can deny the claim. SO, after you jump through all these hoops, they finally make an offer for settlement. It was about 1/3 of my damages, but at this point I just wanted to move on (no pun intended). I accepted the offer, thinking that was end of this drama. BUT WAIT THERE"S MORE!!!! Now the claim is sent to a third party insurance company and all the fun starts all over. Resubmit this, that, and some other things, by this date or your claim is denied. Wait, I thought we agreed on a settlement? NOT SO FAST!!! After a few more weeks of jumping through hoops, this is your new offer! About 1/3 of the original settlement offer and a fraction of my claim. What a bunch of organized criminals. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GLOBAL !!!!!! Do not even call on an estimate!! (unless you like being screwed, and having your possessions broken) in closing, one thing I would like to add.... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GLOBAL!!!!!!!!

Please do not use this company! For any reason! I don’t care how desperate you are! Let me take you thru my experience! My contract was for July 1-3 pick up they were a no show even though on the third I was told all day on the phone this afternoon! At 8:30 pm I got a call from a driver we will be there 9:00am July 4th I really had no choice my house was closing escrow! They get to my house to pack “I paid $1400.00 extra for “ in a rental truck! No dolly or tools! They bent every leg on my dryer by forcing it out of the laundry closet because they had no dolly! When I went to pay them with a cashiers check they said no cash or postal money order only after I was told different! Finally they took it after a fight with Global! How was I going to fix it on the 4th of July! Oh and more problems when we got to the drop off but I don’t want you to have to read for days! They say they don’t transport jewelry or liquid I open my boxes! I would assume if they didn’t transport liquid… They broke so much more stuff than in the pictures! I’m still finding damage! I will be making a claim! Please save yourself the headache! The pictures show how they packed some of my stuff! Not even wrapped! They just threw stuff in boxes! Pictures 2 and 3 are all one box liquid soap, shampoo and other stuff just thrown in the box with pictures! In the picture with the computer keyboard the small brown box you can barely see is my dogs ashes it was marked don’t move! The picture of the broken leg is off a large jewelry box full of jewelry once again clearly marked they still took full of jewelry! Who knows what’s missing out of there! My mom is a doll collector some dolls very valuable you see the way they packed them! My Rumba vacuum! My TV wasn’t even put in a box I still can’t find the power cord! I haven’t even opened all my boxes yet! If you could give a zero I would! I used another moving company years ago and didn’t go back to them because of damage! But they are shining stars compared to this company! They are so friendly and nice until you pay them. Then no response to any problems! I called customer service July 5th it is now July 12th and still have not gotten a call back! I can’t state this enough so much damage! Ok the response you gave seems to be the same response you give to all your negative reviews! How many of your friends did you have to get to post good reviews to get up to a 4 stars! To file a claim I now am told I need documents your drivers did not give me! So thank goodness my next step is to talk to my credit card company about all the damages! I’m still finding as your people unpacked nothing and put nothing back together for us!

However, a little damage was done to wooden panels of the bed while fixing but they made sure to repair it free of cost before going. I have no problem posting my contract on here. You know I'm a customer so don't even try. I'm almost positive that these reviews are fake -- the reviews are too perfect and the profile pictures look like stock images. Check out Global Moving on the Better Business Bureaus complaints page to get a more accurate source for reviews. Essentially, Global Moving isn't honoring the terms of our contract and my stuff is *somewhere* with no delivery date, and the person I talked to told me that "its not their fault because they're busy". I hired Global Moving to move my things from Indiana to Nebraska. I asked for a pick up date window of July 5th-7th. They promised me July 7th. So I disconnected all of my utilities and waited around all day for them to show up. At 4 pm I call and I'm told that they're 10 HOURS AWAY on another job. I understand delays, but if that's the case why wasn't I told first thing in the morning? Obviously they weren't going to show up on their promised pick up day if they're half a day away at 4 pm and still doing another job. I only found out because I had the initiative to call - which was incredibly off-putting. Not like I could cancel though without incurring a hefty fee. They show up and load my stuff up quickly and safely (I hope) which is the only good thing I can say about this entire experience. I was told what my final price would be a month before, but a week before the pick up date I sold a lot of furniture, so I had substantially less to load. I was told by a Doug Pilhgren that because there would be less to load, my final price would decrease and I'd see that on pick up day. Moving day I found that my price had not changed, and it was still the same even though I'd sold an entire bedroom set and couch. I put down the 50% deposit and left it at that. My contract says there's a 7-17 day delivery period. I figured there was no way it'd take 17 days because it's only an 8 hour drive. It's been 12 days and I haven't heard anything. I called and asked for an update and was told I'm not even on this week's delivery schedule - which I should be. After a brief hold I'm told that my things will be delivered sometime after the 17 day period - which is not what I agreed to and paid for - and it'll be some unknown time after that. I reminded the person on the phone that I was told it would be there in 17 days - it's literally in the contract - and he told me "No, the only time frame they have to abide by is 30 days" which is NOT in the contract. Then he spent the next 5 minutes telling me why it isn't their fault and excuse after excuse. "It's peak moving season" "If you moved in the fall or winter this wouldn't have happened" "The trucks are leaving for florida on another job" "we just don't have enough trucks and movers - it's nobody's fault". No, Global Moving, IT IS your fault. I really don't care that it's peak season and you don't have enough trucks. At the end of the day I was promised in a contract and verbally, and paid for a service that this company is not delivering on. At the end of the day, I'm in a new state with a new job and NONE of my belongings. I just submitted a formal complaint to the BBB and was horrified to see a ton of complaints that are exactly like mine. Check out Global Moving on Better Business Bureau before hiring them -- one guy just complained a few days before my writing of this and it's been over 46 days. DO NOT hire this company because it's a cheap option. Bite the bullet and spend more money to get a company that actually honors their contracts and doesn't make excuses. I'm going to go ballistic if they think I'm actually going to pay the entire other 50% after the service I've been given.

The movers were unprofessional— I asked one worker to please look at the markings on the boxes and put them in the appropriate rooms cuz I can’t move them myself and he told me he didn’t care. You have to sign papers stating you really can’t dispute claims. Go with Allied who moved us before—they were great and honest.

I believe they use contractors to hire for work and not an actual staff to complete moves for customers. This company practices deceptive business practices. This is a problem because people have jobs and other responsibilities when you have to make arrangements to ensure you are present during the move. Moving Coordinator (Todd) and Operations Specialist (Doug) are con artists. They do not answer the phone or emails throughout the day but may respond by 5pm but want you to contact your bank for full payment before they perform the actual services. Never again! They will not call or inform you of anything. If you want to chase after them, so be it. They may never show up when they say they are. They cannot be trusted and unreliable. The five star reviews are a lie in google. There is no way you can get multiple five star reviews and multiple one star reviews. Employees of this company or their friends write these reviews. RUN AWAY fast! And so they don’t say they didn’t move our stuff: reference # B3451446. Liars, cheats and don’t respond. Movers don’t speak English and act like they don’t have any idea how your stuff gets destroyed.. This company was late picking up - didn’t finish packing our house until 3am! Then held our furniture hostage for 25 days and kept giving us the total run around. When they finally scheduled delivery they said 9 am, which turned into 10:30, but then the truck broke down, finally one truck showed up at 2:30 pm. The minimal stuff on the truck was damaged. The second truck showed up at 6:30 pm and literally all my furniture was destroyed!!! They brought stuff in that wasn’t mine, and in addition lost a couch, our grill, 3 of 6 dining room chairs, and more. I kicked them out of my house at 10pm and was left with splinters of furniture and a huge mess.

Horrible customer service and communication. Potential customers need to check BBB complaints for company before proceeding with this company. Interstate move set up with Global Moving LLC for items from NC to MD. Entire experience ha been a bait and switch scheme. Initial advisor quoted amount half what final cost ended up as. Customer service specialize who confirmed inventory did the same thing when all items were disclosed before pickup. We went item by item with what was being picked up, down to lamps and number of boxes yet price was still double once movers showed up with 1 day advanced notice. Pickup occurred 11/16/2021 and as of 12/4/21, there is still no ETA on when furniture will be delivered (19days later). We have called manager Christie Strong, Operations Specialist, Doug Parker, dozens of times as well as sent emails with no responses over past couple of weeks. Original contact was Cassie Jones—who we were told this week is no longer with the company. Customer service told us on 11/30/21 that items were to be loaded Friday 12/3 and delivered over weekend. We have tried to confirm this over phone and email many times with no answer or response. Doug finally responded to email on 12/3 stating items were being loaded 12/3 and that we would receive confirmation once 100% loaded. At 5pm on 12/3, we still had not heard anything. Doug responded to email that â he hadnâ t heard anything differently from dispatchâ regarding the information we were told on 11/30 not still being the case. It is now 3pm on Saturday, 12/4 and still no email or call from Global Moving LLC with when we can expect furniture. We just want the furniture delivered as this company has already been paid around $2500 and has stopped all communication with ETA for furniture delivery.

I would highly discourage anyone from using Global Moving LLC for moving purposes due to their very shady and sketchy practices. First, they said they are a moving company and not a broker and therefore have their own trucks but when I got my load picked up it was an Enterprise truck. The load was supposed to be delivered in 7-17 days but they tried/ threatened to charge me a fee if I was not ready for delivery in 3-5 days because they claimed I would need storage even though I had given them a delivery location address and they would not deliver the load for at least 7 days. They also did not start the 7-17 day clock for delivery until days after pick up because I said I would not be ready for delivery until 2 days after pick up. They also meant 17 business days meaning even though I was ready for delivery almost right away they would not be delivering my load until at least 3 and a half weeks after the pick up date. When I tried to call and figure things out they have been unresponsive and often take days to get back to me. I am still trying to figure things out. I realized that Global Moving LLC comments on bad reviews that they do not recognize their accounts. I can assure you I have an account and can post my job number. I am in the process of waiting for my stuff now.

Do not use this company! The worst service I’ve ever experienced. Movers did not arrive on moving day until 6pm -in a rental truck -2 men, not the three promised. They were not done loading until midnight. Who moves at midnight? We were told by Doug the operation specialist this was not the norm-however on the second leg of the move (delivery) they attempted to do exact same thing. Upon delivery both TVs were completely destroyed as they did not package them correctly (again as Doug had promised they would) as was much of the furniture . Doug and staff were unresponsive and rude-Doug specifically saying he got too many calls in a day to actually return calls. The movers were extremely unprofessional making lewd comments and discussing their drug use. They sat up one of our chairs in the backyard to make their little smoking area -leaving the chair and cigarette butts in the yard. Several items were completely lost in transit. The absolute worst experience and incompetent service-many false promises from ops specialist Doug Pihlgren. Stay away from this place but if you don’t heed this advice be sure to purchase the full insurance on your contents because when they do . actually show up your possessions will be damaged or completely missing.Note editing post due to global response -my name is authorized on the account of my mother who hired Global to move out of state. Do not let their comment sway you. Doug P is fully aware and Global could have easily verified this prior to responding further proof of their incompetence. The only resolution offered was through their independent insurance contractor CSI which is why I state if you do not heed this advice to avoid global then be sure to purchase full insurance coverage otherwise you will receive only 60cents per pound for each damaged item which means 33$ for a $900 TV. Beware!

Global Moving LLC has been a disaster from start to finish. They are a COMPLETE SCAM. They quoted me $6000 for my move and only after the trucks were loaded they baited and switched me with a $13000 total cost. They then charged me an additional $1000 for storage because they advised I hadn’t paid the amount in full. Their movers showed up at 5 pm. Worked till almost 1 am before advising me they couldn’t finish the job. They came back the following day again at 5 pm to move the last few pieces and then spring the double cost on me. The movers themselves were fine. Transported my items safely and with a minimum of damage. My issue is with the sales and admin staff at the company. Quick to close on a commitment and take your money. Will not respond to messages or follow up with you afterwards. Over promised and under delivered on pricing. The final bill was nearly $800 more than the estimate. The 21 year old kid on site did a poor job of communicating the reasoning behind the uptick in price. By then their truck is fully loaded with all of your worldly possessions and what are you going to do? Not pay the second installment when they're already holding the first 1/3rd of the total money? I wasn't happy. Your results may vary.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY THEY ARE EXTREMELY DISHONEST. My move was pushed back due to COVID. They have done nothing. Impossible to get in touch with. Spoke to Christie strong and she assured me I would get a refund on my deposit. Then I call them as it hasn't hit my account yet, and they say I am not eligible to receive my deposit back. They are super dishonest, very unprofessional. The man I spoke to hung up on me when I told him I would dispute the charge. I would not trust them with any type of move. Trust me and use another company!!!

I moved several times and always used Global Moving , which provides custom prices depending on the amount of stuff, distance, and the floors you need to move. They schedule the delivery in advance and give you a time slot, which is also adjustable when you place an order. It was always very affordable. Pleasant and efficient. Would recommend it! I am surely going to hire them again after 4 months!

Worst experience I ever had. They were 6 weeks late, from day they promised. The truck arrived and there were boxes busted open everywhere. There was furniture damaged and over $2000.00 damage to my motorcycle. Two of the drivers were hung over. Do NOT use this company, you will regret it. They never even apologize for any of it.
