I never thought that "Checking the mail" would be on my list of enjoyable activities.
We've had a Mail Box here for a couple of years now. There are 3 of us that drop by to pick up the various packages that get delivered to us. We all have such great stories of the staff. Here are some examples:
--Always helpful. I personally am a "take care of myself kinda gal". I never ask for help with doors, or lifting boxes. I don't need to ask here! They automatically help carry the boxes to my vehicle, or they quickly come from behind the counter to open the door if my arms are full.
--Always smiling. Literally always smiling. I don't know how they do it day in, and day out.
--They have hundreds of boxes, but always know who we are. When we walk in, they have already grabbed our boxes without us saying a word. It's not like they know us from outside of the store. The only relationship we have is "Pick Up Mail" and "Drop Off Mail".
--For $5, they will package up the super bizarre shaped thing that I'm trying to send to Timbuktu. Best money I ever spend! If I had to fumble around my house trying to find a suitable box, and suitable packaging, and then write out the label ... that would be at least 30 minutes of my time (if not more). For $5, this team gets it done in a few moments. No Stress! Amazing!
--It's always clean. That's nice.
--They send me a reminder when they get a package for me. It's like someone saying "I have a gift for you! Come and get it!". I love those emails.
This review is part of my COVID-19 "Send good thoughts to good people" campaign. Each day, I think of another company that has brought me joy, or gone above and beyond, and I send good thoughts.
I highly recommend it.
It's a lovely way to do something nice for the businesses that are hurting right now. Who doesn't love getting complimented, or being recognized for their efforts?
