Aggressive and negative response to feedback and requests. damaged furniture by placing heavy objects on my new wooden furniture, broken dishes and lamps. Non responsive and follow up. I would avoid using this company. They dont work with you or one another. Moving is such a stressful time so moving companies must have the complete ability to support customers. I selected them after carefully reviewing their scores on both Google and the BBB. They had a pretty good score on both and their quote was middle of the pack from the many quotes that I received for my move from White Rock to Calgary. I was told initially that the delivery would be on October 29 or 30th. However, the day before the October 26 pickup, I was told they only deliver to Calgary on Fridays, so my delivery would be on October 31 or November 1 if they experienced delays in the mountains. They were supposed to notify me when they had loaded my shipment to deliver so that they could provide me with a more accurate ETA. Come Sunday, I still hadn't heard anything back about my shipment. I try phoning and get a voicemail message telling me that they are closed and to email instead. I finally got a phone call back at 4 PM and the person simply tells me sorry, we couldn't fit your stuff on the truck, so it won't be delivered until the following Sunday or Monday. So now I am left for a week with no furniture, no dishes, no cutlery, no pots or pans, and no bedding. I have had to go out and buy replacement stuff to get by for an extra week. The only positive thing I can say about my experience is that the two people who handled my load up were incredibly efficient and did a phenomenal job.

They made my life much easier from the very first call. I had no problems at all, when I talked to Manager I knew that I was making the right choice. He was easily accessible during the entire process via email or phone. In the end they delayed my delivery by 1 hour, but it was not a big deal, since the rest of the job was excellent.

I had a move scheduled for delivery on September 1 after pickup on Aug 22. I called on Aug 31 after hearing nothing and was notified they somehow didn't move my possessions in 10 days and would be delayed a week until Sep 6. They told me they'd then call me in the following 2-3 days to discuss a price adjustment and I would of course receive one days notice of the delivery. Instead, I got 1 hour notice of the delivery. They then wouldn't even unload my possessions without full payment despite not rendering the service they were hired to provide. Furthermore, they don't even provide legitimate scale information - they sent me some pictures of a portion of a page with some scale weights but no way to verify that they actually represented the same truck weighed empty and filled with my possessions. The service provided was wholly unacceptable and this business should not operate. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. They basically held my possessions hostage - the delivery men sat outside my house unable to unload until I paid in full and I was going to be charge a rescheduling fee if I didn't pay the bill immediately despite these unacceptable deviations from the service purchased. Please never hire them.

My fiance and I moved from LA California to Calgary AB and I couldnt be much happier for choosing Cargo Movers. They said that they were new in the national moving business but assured me that they had years of moving within Canada. It was alittle hard for me to decide at first because it is only our second time moving and the first time (with a different company) was HELL. Karen from the office was very sweet and ensured all my questions were answered. Im glad I gave my business to Cargo because everyone starts from somewhere , and no one is perfect. I definitely recommend for any type of moving, local, provincial and cross country!

They can not keep their promise. Delivery was late could not deliver in due time. Customer service is very poor and unprofessional. I asked invoice by phone and twice in email for name correction and they did not bother to reply or correct name in the invoice. Please do not become fool hiring them. They have hidden cost which they will not explain properly. They said it is customer responsibility to ask and get clear about the cost. So be careful about them. I believe they will not sustain too long in this business if this is going on. I shared my bad experience with my friends and colleagues and warn them. If you are moving, give three times thoughts before hiring them and remember my bad experience. Thanks for reading.

They don't have any Respect to your time, they are not Empathetic to your problems. I did a mistake without reading reviews about them. they selectively respond to reviews. " DO NOT CHOOSE THEM" This was one of the Worst experiences ive ever had. They are very nice and Kind until they get the $200 upfront Payment. They don't really provide any information on the Pickup time until the day of Pick-up. Calling them will result in "Karen" repeatedly providing the same information ( Not her Fault). The window given for Pickup was 11 to 2. and they showed up at 2. Pickup was on 24th September and my stuff was supposed to be delivered on the 26th. I did not hear anything regarding this. I called the company and they told me that it will be delivered on 28th. I called them on 27th to ask what time the delivery was, they informed that its cancelled as someone called in Sick. and the delivery now is scheduled for 1st of October. No time was provided until the last minute. I called them on 30th September and they informed it will be delivered between 8 to 10 in the morning. Since i was moving my things to a storage unit, i reached at 8, waiting for the truck to show up. Driver calls me at 9:45 saying that oil is leaking since 5 AM. they could have just informed me as soon as they know about this, but they dont respect your time. Called the company again to ask what is going on, they just say, it is what it is. "Samantha" is so rude and unprofessional, she spoke to me and told it is what it is. The Delivery time changed to 5 pm and later to between 7 pm to 8pm. they showed up at 7:55 pm I asked the Driver to help me move things to the storage unit as my arranged help had to leave because they were delayed. He told me " Dont be Cheap". They do not take any responsibility what so ever. horrible people, they got payment in advance and were not even open to move things without extra cost. " 10 cents per pound".

Though Cargo Movers was priced more competitively than other companies, and making a reservation was straightforward, pinning down a schedule was a challenge and the movers damaged a brand new couch, wall, and doorframe. Because the large couch wasn't ideal to manoeuvre, it was dragged to the point of tearing in multiple spots, it was scratched on the front, and the wall and doorframe badly scratched. The same couch was moved into the condo by myself and a friend (two untrained movers) without damage. Their insurance offering is admittedly limited and it would have provided $150 for the couch I paid $5,150 for two months prior, after paying a $300 deductible! When I requested a compromise, and $150 compensation to cover the cost of the drywall/doorframe repairs, I was quickly declined. Because of this experience I would NOT RECOMMEND CARGO MOVERS CANADA. Though other reviews are positive, it doesn't seem this company shows compassion or or reasonableness when problems do occur. BEWARE.

Don’t use this company as they are very unprofessional. They delayed my delivery by two more weeks and told me the last day before the actual delivery that they are unable to deliver. Some of my belongings missed and after all emails back and forth, they said that I have $350 deductible and they can’t do anything for me. They are always charging you a lot by so many hidden fees. Never use them!

1-movers dragged a big chair on the floor, which resulted in a scratch 2-There some other spot of the walls that got scratched as well. 3- Our phone calls were never being answered by either the office staff or the drivers. 4- One of the movers was very disrespectful, and was rudely speaking back to us as well as the building management 5- The main furniture items re-assembly was included in the deal. When the mover was asked to contact your office to get this issue clarified, he refused and he left saying that we do not understand!! 6- Floor protection (runners) were not used inside my unit which caused these scratches 7- Some items were brought in a bad condition/ broken, such as lamps and plastic containers. 5- We are missing: one small trampoline and a small drilling device – total value around $120 Below is the response from Cargo management: Hi, the insurance that we have is $350.00 deductible. The "damages" that you have shown are minor scratches that can be fixed very easily. If you were to claim this, then nothing would come back because of the $350.00 deductible. We were originally going to charge a $200.00 long carry fee because of the distance of the truck from the enterance and then the elevator to your house. But because we dont want to create any more tension, we will not charge the $200.00 long walk fee. You can consider the long walk fee getting reimbursed for you for the applicable damages. If you do decide to move again, we can offer you 10% discount for your next move if you decide to book us again. Otherwise, unfortunately, Cargo Movers cannot cover anything for these minor damages. They are quick to get your business...provide you with so many false promises...you ask them to provide those promises in writing and they say Trust me we will and they never will...their estimate of weight can be Doubled as they refuse to weigh your goods on the day they take your goods...their trick is they come with a half full truck and they tell you they can't go to scale it today(when you are present)...they leave everything for when they got their hands on your stuff and when they feel in charge everything changes...their Main Driver,,,packer...Brian can be the rudest guy you can imagine...he uses such a disrespectful language when he is challenged...we booked with Samantha and Joseph ...Samantha was good until the day that she should've fulfilled her false promises...She reversed everything she promised on the phone...just like that...They are con artists never ever trust them with your money...they charge double of what their estimate is...extremely unhappy with their service ...such a shame I recommended them to another friend just a week before our move and they did a terrible job for them too...they broke their goods without any apologies and delivered their goods 1.5 months after the date they promised...DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

Some items got damaged but they were old so its okay. I just wished their prices were not so expensive. But the whole moving process was great for me. I've moved five times in the past five years, and this company was BY FAR the best moving company! The man who booked my move was helpful and polite. The movers were on time, quick, and hard working. They brought wardrobe boxes to pack up my hard-to-fit-into-normal-boxes stuff. Highly recommended!

The movers were great but the office staff are the absolute worst! They movers were a day late to pick up our belongings because of mechanical issues (I guess they only have one truck?). Fair enough. Three weeks later I had called to organize a drop off date two weeks in advance and I got no indication that there would be any issue with that date. When I called two days before to confirm that our items would arrive on the arranged date (a Wednesday) I was told that our things would not arrive until the following Saturday! (We were staying in a hotel until our possession date so it was costing us $$)After complaining I was referred to the accounting department where I was called a liar and was accused of digging for a discount. The conversation ended with the young lady assuring me that something would be done afterwards to make amends if I would just pay the bill. The bill was paid in full and still haven't hear from them. Use these idiots at your own risk!

Used Cargo Movers to move from Nelson BC to Williams Lake BC. I told them about a 900 LBS gun safe and they said they could move it with no problem. I was very worried because other companies who came to do an in home estimate said there was no way they could do it. I dont know how Cargo Movers did it since only my husband was present during the pickup but they managed to do it and I am so happy! They did charge alot which I didnt like, but considering the trouble they had to go for it ( i am sure it wasnt easy) I think it was worth it. Definitely recommend.

Moving is always stressful but Cargo Movers Canada really came through with organizing a long haul 2 bedroom + den move from Alberta to BC during the high season (end of February/beginning of March). They helped coordinate dates and ensured they worked. Estimated quote was quite accurate. They Movers, did and excellent job with packing, disassembling furniture. No damages occurred and all items were delivered in full. Would highly recommend this moving company.

Avoid using this company!! Keep it short and simple… they were 5 hours late, I was waiting at our destination 3.5 hrs away and because we were late we were not allowed to move our belongings into our condo after 10pm. Aside from processing my quote the amount came out almost $1000 more because every single item was to be placed in a box of some kind. The movers were aggressive with our belonging and because they were behind schedule they were rushing and not respecting our fragile items. They were extremely rude to my wife to the point I had to talk to them on the phone while moving. Save yourself the headache and find Anyone else

We used them for a large move and it was not an experience I would repeat. They had too little staff to unload truck & by the end, the guys were so beat, that they were just dropping stuff in the middle of the room for us to move later. We gave them bottles of water as it was a very hot day & they left the bottles all over the yard along with their other garbage. We also got charged for an extra drop off as we were moving 2 families and they didn't end up doing the 2nd drop as plans changed with possession. They refused to credit us back. We also had many things damaged like dresser, hole in the wall, hole in our wheelbarrow. There are way too many things to mention so do your homework before every hiring this company !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Initial contact through Karen seemed promising, and their quoted price was fair, but unfortunately, the company demonstrated zero professionalism or integrity. I'll use point form to keep from turning this into a book. All issues were addressed with the company in writing; their response was the equivalent of a shrug of the shoulders: - despite having promised no additional charges in writing, they unilalaterally and without authorization put a hefty additonal charge on the credit card before they would deliver. Be forewarned that their position is that once you authorize a credit card payment to them, they can charge whatever they want to your card for 6 months. - their website promises "room to room" service, but they stacked all the boxes in one room, leaving us to move them around before unpacking (they claimed afterwards that 'room to room' applies 'for the pickup only' - whatever that's even supposed to mean) - they expected me to remove the blankets from the furniture and assist with moving heavy items (their office says "this is to help them" - so be aware that even though you're paying this comonay a good price to move your goods, you'll be expected to act as an unpaid assistant) - packing was erratic - metal measuring cups were wrapped in three layers of paper; valuable soapstone carvings were tossed in boxes without being wrapped at all - contents of desks and dressers were thrown into boxes upside down, and in general in a manner that suggested they were trying to punish us for having them do the packing. A month later, I'm still trying to sort out the mess, and several items have disappeared completely. - a heavy oak desk was slammed into a wall hard enough to damage both the wall and the desk; the company's response was that damage like this is "in some ways expected" (just part of their service, I guess). In contrast with other movers I've dealt with, they did not bring the damage to our attention or offer to rectify it. They actually said that if I'd moved myself, I probably would have done similar damage (and while that may not be untrue, I wouldn't have had to pay myself thousands of dollars, which somewhat changes the expectations!) - despite the fact that the move was into a senior's residence in the middle of a pandemic, the delivery driver complained about wearing a mask, had to be reminded by management, and kept taking his mask off in the suite. (Cargo Movers defended him by saying he didn't do this within 6 feet of any seniors - illustrating their lack of understanding and conveniently ignoring the fact that I'm a senior and was in the suite with the maskless driver most of the day. They also stated that because their drivers are tested twice a month, they're "completely safe".) All in all, I could not possibly recommend this company. It doesn't matter what they promise you up front in terms of price, service, or anything else, they will likely fail to deliver, and when they do, will take no responsiblity whatsoever for those failures. They outright told me my complaints about the lack of professionalism "will definitely be disregarded" because I'm a "good person and....do not mean that" (I actually am a good person - but I totally meant every word of it!). So if you're looking for a mover who lacks accountability, makes no pretense of keeping their promises, and will treat your home and possessions like yesterday's trash, Cargo Movers is the company for you - otherwise, look elsewhere.

The driver told my wife and I that we would receive copies of weigh bills showing the trucks weight before they picked up our stuff, the weight after their next pickup, and the weight again after that load was dropped off as that load was a one day move. ( ours went into storage) They somehow lost this paperwork and couldn't prove they weren't billing up for someone else's moving costs. We were also informed we wouldn't be charged until after they had proven the weight to us. What they actually did was charge us the next day without notice, so the payment maxed out my credit card, which wouldn't have been so awful if I hadn't been trying to buy groceries for my kids and had to abandon all of them since I had no payment. If you're a criminal these crooks are for you! Everyone else look elsewhere.
