We’ve just completed a gruelling local move 9am-7pm. 2nd move with BVM. Randy’s team of Julian, Luc and Harry surpassed our expectations. We had a houseful of heavy items to be dissembled, heaved and toted, and reassembled on the other end. Long condo hallways and small elevator challenges. And “challenges” is the correct word. There were a few tricky moments with larger pieces and complicated parts but these fellows cheerfully addressed them as solvable challenges rather than impossible burdens. Their attitudes were reassuring, positive and accommodating. Man, they worked hard! We are so grateful to Randy and his crew.

After an unexpected relocation was forced on us due to covid, we asked Randy and his team to empty our storage locker in Calgary and bring our things to our new place in Squamish. Randy was willing to be flexible on price, which was a great start. And they turned out to be everything you would want a moving company to be: communicative, punctual, professional, respectful, and hard-working. They never complained once--even though it started raining halfway through, and we have some very heavy furniture I'm sure they were swearing under their breath at! Randy even generously took our unexpected overflow to a hastily-arranged storage locker for us without batting an eye, even though he was itching to start the long drive back home. I unreservedly recommend Bow Valley Moving to anyone looking for an honest, stress-reducing experience. Thanks guys! ????????

I am not one to normally write reviews for businesses but after our experience with the owner (Randy) today, I was shocked by his extreme unprofessionalism over the phone. We are homeowners of a duplex and today, the owners of the other side of the duplex moved in. A large Bow Valley Moving truck reversed onto our property and parked on our private cement walk path to our house. We were concerned that having a large moving truck parked on our cement could crack or damage it. My husband called the company and spoke with Randy to express our concern. He was just calling to inquire about the moving truck that was parked on our property and about any policy that Bow Valley Moving has in place if they were to cause damage to a homeowners private property. My husband is one of the most reasonable, respectful and level headed person to talk with and we were absolutely appalled by how Randy aggressively reacted to his inquiry. We were not accusing his company of anything, we just wanted peace of mind that if damage was caused to our path that Bow Valley Moving would take responsibility. Randy was very quick to jump on the defence and dismissed our concerns in a very rude, demeaning tone. He even hung up on my husband in the middle of the call. My husband called back trying to explain himself in a very respectful, calm manner and was again, treated very poorly. Randy was anything but helpful or reassuring. When the time comes for us to move and find a moving company, we will be sure to stay clear of Randy and Bow Valley Moving. I would caution anyone considering this moving company as the customer service (from the owner himself) is very poor.

I honestly never thought I would review a moving company but our experience was too good not to share. We booked a move just within Canmore. The guys they sent were exceptional. They were polite, funny and truly a pleasure to be around. They disassembled some furniture and then put it back together way better than it was originally assembled. We had two cheap beds that were broken years ago and I walked into a room to find them assembling them properly so they actually are fixed now. We last minute asked for a quick visit to our storage unit and a team that had finished earlier came by and did the move in about 30 minutes. Ive truly never met a group of more considerate and polite people. Nothing broken. Everything in place. Would hire them again and again.

Simply a bunch of Professionals. Moving is stressful and we got 5 quotes, Randy was not the cheapest but certainly in line with the others and the quote guaranteed a flat rate from Calgary to White Rock BC. He lived up to it, on time, friendly service and will use again if we have to move. We used the packing services too and nothing was broken. The packers, the pick-up team and the delivery team were all a different bunch but they were all fantastic. If you get a chance ask Randy for a complimentary bag of Granola.
