We had two hard-working guys move the contents of our three-bedroom house and yard in about 7 hours. They were friendly, courteous and worked very hard. There were a couple scuffs on some of our furniture (two pieces) but that's to be expected. I would recommend Bill & Ben without hesitation.

If you want a cheap mover who doesn't care about your belongings you have found the right people. Not only did they show up late in a very small truck but the crew seemed drunk and angry there were at work . They were sloppy, made several dents in the walls at both the pick up and drop off locations and damaged several of my items. Never trust the cheapest quote ! Lesson learned .

The cross-country move from Calgary to upstate NY was generally well arranged. Truth being told, I had moved some of my stuff out already in my constant shuffles between towns, but the heavy lifting of furniture and electronics was handled quite well by Bill & Ben. Would recommend this Calgary mover to anyone.

I am very grateful for and pleased with Bill and Ben's dedicated service. I was on the search for moving companies in Calgary and found that many of them didn't provide all the services I needed. I was relocating my home office within Calgary and moving all of my belongings as well, and they made sure they took great care of my property as if it was their own. I will definitely use their services again if I move home and office, or if I am in need of some warehouse or storage space for my growing business.

Crew was too concerned with getting job done as quickly as possible under time quoted. As a result they were very careless and lots of furniture sustained damage. Wooden framed sofa and love seat were damaged on the backs, antique armoire leg was broken, night tables were scratched extensively on the tops, matching dresser has a large scratch on it, and wooden book shelf front also damaged. I contacted Lillian day after our belongings were put into storage and basic settlement was offered but I was concerned with other damage as we couldn't inspect any other furniture until we moved into our home and our belongings taken out of storage. We agreed to wait and see... well I have tried to contact Lillian and Barb twice via email and no one has replied. The cost of repairing the damage will likely be more than what I paid for the move! I would not recommend Bill & Ben and if you do use them get the maximum insurance you can get!

When I moved from Edmonton to Calgary 3 years ago, I was infuriated. My antique dresser was scratched and broken, a mirror had even shattered, and I was actually missing a whole box of dishes. I heard these guys were good when I was deciding to move back, so I hesitantly tried. I must say, Bill & Ben were awesome! They were kind, careful, took every measure they could to ensure I was comfortable, and they got me and all my stuf here safe and sound, everything in tact and not a ding. I was so grateful and their price was so much better I felt I just had to tip them $50. Looking to move to Canmore soon, I know who I'm calling. Thanks again guys!

Don't use this company. They are the worst and most unprofessional organization I've dealt with. I don't understand how this place has so many good Google reviews. They were awful to deal with. They were supposed to move us at 11am. They called us only two hours before and told us they had some "unforeseen circumstances" so they had to move it to the afternoon with no set time. At 2pm we finally got a hold of Barb and she just made excuses, she was supposed to call us back and never did. The driver finally called us later that afternoon and we just decided to cancel rather than using this company. They had double-booked us and no one let us know any details.. Barb and the movers were incredibly unprofessional and made no attempt to call us throughout the day. Please be warned and do not waste your time with this company.

Pros; one of the moving guys (nigel) was very friendly and easy to deal with, making the booking with barb over the phone was positive as she was friendly and attentive, all of my items were moved carefully, nothing was broken or scratched including some antiques, Cons; the movers were two and a half hours late, even with me helping move boxes in and out of the truck the move was half an hour over the quoted time, (not a huge deal but still) Biggest con; one of the moving guys had made incredibly suggestive sexual comments towards me and made me feel very uncomfortable Overall this is a decent moving company aside from a few things.

Wow is all I can really say! I was a little worried about hiring people to move my personal belongings, I mean I break something I cry, but if some one else breaks....well you know haha. But with work and school and everything else going on I didn't have much choice. These two took great care with my belongings as if it were their own, I was very much impressed. Not only did they treat my stuff with respect, but they were quick and efficient and all for a very reasonable price! Extraordinary client administration and expert group! I moved over a long separation, so was somewhat worried about my effects. Be that as it may, these folks were extremely cautious with my stuff. They stuffed everything completely and quick. No harms, no earth - only an immaculate employment! My turn couldn't have been smoother and quicker. My compliments to the Bill and Ben moving group. Had them come to move my mothers things to my home. They were mad because of all of the stairs. We had two pieces that survived WWI and WWII. Beautiful, solid wood and hand carved. I asked them to be careful, all I got was attitude in return. Their carelessness these near mint items were damaged beyond repair. The woman I spoke to regarding the claim gave me attitude and hung up on me. The movers ran out of shrink wrap to wrap the doors on all of the cabinets causing damage. we paid for three movers, but we got two and a half (maybe a quarter). He seemed to be hung over, sat around most of the move, complained and tried to talk me out of moving some of my mom's belongings. They dropped boxes and smashed flower pots that they didn't bother to strap in. It's bad enough I lost my father and losing my mom and then these people have no respect for my family and our treasured items!! Do not hire these people.

Great pick up service, not so hot delivery service. They seemed more determined to be done than they cared to be careful. When I questioned what I felt to be an overcharged bill, I was promised a call back that never came. I then called them myself in regards to a missing item and was once again promised a call back that never came. Very disappointed.

I found this Bill & Ben on the BBB Calgary site. I had two movers show up right 9 (even though they said between 9 and 10) and were very professional and were able to get right to loading up the elevator. They were able to move us out of a one bedroom on the second floor to a 3 bedroom on the 21st floor within the estimated time! I would highly hightly recommend Bill & Ben to anyone who is looking for a solid moving company for a fair price. I will be using them for our next move without a doubt!!

Used these guys for my move from Calgary to Airdrie. I have hired movers several times, this was the first successful one. The guys they sent were great with my kids and dogs. They sent a 26 foot truck, and initially I lost my temper thinking that it would not fit...sure enough they got it all loaded! I will never move without hiring movers as long as these guys are in Calgary.

we had the same experience as Amanda. they had bad attitude about the stairs. my wife and I moved more stuff than they did. they were not careful with our stuff. lots of stuff broke. showed up three hours late. Paid twice the quoted price. if we didn't help them it would have been 3 times the price. several 20 minute breaks at our expense. never again!!!!

A friend of mine suggested I choose Calgary Movers & Moving Company to help me move my daughter to her new place. Today I was driving home and I had one of thier trucks cut me off. I had to slam on the brakes to prevent an accident,I also honk at them. They then looked out the mirror and laughed as if this wasn't a big deal, but that wasn't all then they gave me the fingure and sped away to almost rear ending someone else. I called thier dispatch and left an message describing the incident and requesting a phone call back, but never recieved one. This company is clearly unprofessional and doesn't not care for the content they are moving. I would strongly advise to choose a different moving company.

My friend referred me to this company who moved her in another city. Their service went beyond my expectations. I moved from a three bedroom in Silver Springs to another three bedroom in Coventry Hills. The move was done by three guys in 6 hours, just shy of their 6.5 hour estimate. I was worried about heavy treadmill they moved from downstairs, however they handled it ably. They put a small ding in my wall by the front entrance, and they were back a few days later to fix. I was super satisfied by their moving and after-sale services, and would recommend and use them again.

Bill & Ben helped me with a big move a few months ago. Moving to a different province and going over the mountains really made me nervous- considering all the breakable things I have. These were the best movers I have ever hired. They were on time, nice and FAST! They moved my 4 bedroom house to my new location another 4 bedroom house in about 6 hours. My new house is about 14 miles away They wrapped everything and nothing got damaged. They came in under their quote as well! Very good value, and my back does not hurt.

Extremely disappointing experience with this company- would request people to stay away. We had moved with this company in 2013 and the service at that time was excellent- which is why when we moved again in 2017, we went straight to this company. At the time of booking, six weeks prior to our move, both Stephanie and Barb confirmed we had a booking, and also confirmed this a week before the scheduled move date. All confirmation was done by email so there was no room for misunderstanding. On the day of moving the movers did not show up and upon calling was told they had accepted an alternate move order. Very let down by this company and unable to see that how they will last if they do not honor commitments made six weeks in advance.
