This Moving Company belongs to the category of Canoe & kayak rental service.
One of my favourite spots in Banff to spend an afternoon. It is quick and easy to get a canoe for an hour, and at a reasonable price. Staff is friendly and helpful (especially with tips for those who have not paddled before).
Hope they open soon everything looks boring because of the covd 19
Pretty awesome experience, equipment is well maintained, and staff is friendly. Id do it again. Idk about the pricing but otherwise pretty cool.
I recommend Banff canoe club , Banff, Alberta - Canada Excellent service Calm and tranquility with nature . Amazing .
Was really excited to go canoeing since I've never done it before. So, my friends and I were super excited when we found this place since it's much cheaper compared to othera. However, our experience with the staff was not good at all. Since it was our first time canoeing, we has no idea what we were doing; hence we ended up just going in circles. Funny thing is, we weren't really helped until our designated time was up and they needed us to get back. There was one man in particular that was getting really fed up with us despite knowing that we were really struggling. We were already panicking because we didnt know how to turn the canoe around and this man's yelling, screaming, and really loud sighs made the panic worse. Luckily one of the female workers was nice and we made it back. For a first time experience in canoeing, it sucked. Dont know if I want to try this activity again but at the same time I don't want this bad experience to hold me back. Definitely not going back here. Watch out for the redhead male employee.
If you are in Banff, make a trip with a canoe, it's great
Friendly staff with reasonable prices considering the area.
Beautiful place... you can have boating here
Awesome rental place! We enjoyed our afternoon paddle to the vermillion lakes. Today we were pushed by the wind into the tall grass when the thunderstorm picked up (the staff warned us of the risk), and we were stuck. The rescue team was professional and showed up within 10 minutes of my phone call, and made sure we were alright (the lakes were quite some distance from the launch). Thank you so much for your help!!!! I wish I knew the names of the people who helped us, but I forgot to ask (we visited on Jul 1 2021 5:30pm to 7pm). Although we spent around 1:30hrs in the water, they charged us only for 1 hour due to the storm (it was not their fault at all!!) Definitely one of the best experiences in Banff, would 100% visit again!
Staff was very nice, river was awesome with amazing views, equipment was well maintained and clean.
Great breathtaking views, not expencive and definietly a must-do once in Banff! Staff very nice.
Very friendly staff helped my wife and me make canoeing a bright spot in our Banff honeymoon.
Nice fun
Easy to book, great and friendly service when we got there. The scenery was amazing out on the water. An easy, leisurely paddle was a great day activity.
what a lifetime memories for canoeing
Fantastic place. Rented a couple paddle boards for $25 each for an hour. Had a really nice time going up the creek and back. Incredible mountains for scenic backgrounds. Wonderful staff and good info.
Great value and friendly staff.
Our experience with Banff Canoe Club was exactly what we hoped for. The location was easily accessible with great parking options. We got into the canoe within probably 4 minutes of entering the shop. A pretty simple paddle updated led to a calm lake with superb views. We were able to take the pup with us, too! My only complaint would be that other canoers and kayakers were... Inexperienced and lead to a few frustrating run ins.
Super cool staff and great views
I loved the experience, bec it was my first time but it was not scary wld do it next time
To rent a canoe in Banff is nice thing to do. Bow river offers you a lovely view on surrounding mountains. The river is peaceful and it is suitable for family trips. Prices could be better.
Reasonable pricing for Canoe and Kayak
Organized. Quality equipment. Lots of parking. Lovely lake to cruise on.
really good in benff. i think kayak is better than canoe. The flow of water is stronger than the lake.
Brilliant staff, brilliant scenery
Went there two weeks ago. We were canoeing for the first time, so one of the employees gave us instructions, very helpful and friendly. Loved the view while canoeing. Also reasonable price.
Great round trip with Aussie Ant. Balanced boat well which I always appreciate!! Knows the terrain, mountain names, history and a few anecdotes. Recommend.
Great prices and great staff, nice and peaceful and amazing.
Amazing! Friendly!
It is well run facility, with good equipment. The location is beautiful and the prices are reasonable.
This is the only canoe place in town that allows dogs of any size on the canoes. You have a few options of which direction you want to go in and the views are stunning. The staff is always very friendly. You can go out to vermillion lake. The rentals were about $40 an hour which is so much cheaper than the ones on lake moraine, louise, etc (those were all $90 and up)
We went on the explorer tour with sydney, and it was such a nice experience. All the interesting information, the views and funny convo's, I would definetly do it again. Thanks.
Really nice afternoon adventure. As a first timer, they made me feel confident and even though I tipped the kayak as soon as I got in it, I still went out and had fun!
Best short activity to do that gives you fun, adventure, independence, beauty and nature all wrapped up in a canoe! Paddle up stream, bring snacks.
Best place to enjoy canoe in bow river
If you get the membership then 2 hrs rental is cheaper. Can go up the Bow River or over to the lakes if you go over a small beaver dam
Lovely place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. It's always a go to place ????
Friendly and inviting staff. Enjoyed our kayaking experience it was a lovely time. Would recommend for the beginners in canoeing or kayaking. Lots to see on your adventure
Fantastic scenery of Banff area. Very helpful and friendly staff. They gave us good tips on how to take our dog with us on the canoe ride and which paths to take.
We went there for renting boats to paddle in around. Actually we forgot our phone in car and one of our friend went to get that but one of staff working there was very rude he said if your friend doesn’t come back in few minutes you guys have to leave, that was rude. Overall good experience but not with staff.
(Translated) Choose a kayak (both paddles) if the person you're with is weak. (Original) 같이타는 사람이 체력이 약하다면 카약(양쪽 페들)을 선택하세요.
The staff were super rude and sarcastic. My parents are not fluent in English and it was clear that the staff were not used to being nice to anyone like that. The staff were clearly less happy to deal with the people of colour than the other families, the sudden change in tone between us and the family in front was crystal clear. Next time, I would love for your staff to make eye contact with my parents when speaking to them thanks. Other than that, canoeing was so much fun, and it was a straight-forward process to get to the fun stuff. Prices are good, the lake is so nice, and you're just surrounded with good views the entire time.
Don't spent your money at other places! This is the most fairly priced canoeing experience out of all the ones we found. Get there early in the morning like we did, and you may get the whole river to yourself for a bit.
Great fun, and not too badly priced.
Great customer service!
Friendly staff and a must if you go durning warmer weather.
Had a great little ride with my husband. We'll decibel come back next time we're in town!
Super staff, especially Lucie who is always smiling (even when it’s busy) and so helpful. Awesome selection of SUP’s. Magical setting on the Bow River.
We were hoping to book a tour but due to a recent shoulder injury, we were advised that this would not be a good idea. We were disappointed but very impressed that the tour guide cared enough not to risk aggravating my injury further. She was very sweet and had the best personality! Her name was Brooke and I definitely recommend her if you would like to book a tour! She was very knowledgeable about the Bow River and Banff. It is truly a beautiful location to spend a few hours in paradise!
Reasonable rates. Great service, and there is generally enough parking close by even when they are really busy. This section of the river is quite calm so it's a relaxing way to spend a few hours on the river. Masks are required within the service areas but once you are out on the river you can remove your mask and enjoy a relaxing time paddling down the river.
Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about the bow River and where it leads to and what areas to avoid. Also VERY good price in comparison to kayaking or canoeing on other more touristy lakes. Definitely a must!
Loved the experience. Very good staff and very canoes.
Had a great time with our guide, Austin! Recommended if you're visiting Banff!
Had a great kayak trip. Very reasonably priced compared to some of the more touristy lakes you can rent canoes and kayaks at. Also a good place to start the Bow River/Bow Falls trails. We did get a parking ticket here though, be careful to stay out of the no parking zone!
Closed 1.5 hours before closing time. Used an unnecessary excuse to close shop. Who doesnt except more business?? Drived to banff to try this and went home unhappy. Terrible service.
Wowww views. Nice staff very helpful. Easy to find. And we can find parking very near.
Friendly staff, easy to get going and great day on water
A gem of an experience. The Bow river is beautiful and this is an authentic way to experience it. Our guide (Austin) was friendly, fun and knowledgeable. I recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
It was fun and awesome. Staffs are fun and patient. Overall a great experience and I’d definitely do it again when I’m back to Banff. ☺️
We rented a two person kayak and a canoe with a third seat. $45 per hour for each and $5 for the third canoe seat. Nice paddle up the creek to vermillion lake. Saw some Canada geese families and a large white swan.
The river is so beautiful and placid, we had an amazingly lovely time on the canoes. Some of the staff are a little cheeky but that’s okay ????
Beautiful location for a paddle!
(Translated) The passages that this site presents are incredible. By turning to any side you can observe nature and colors that will make you feel in a movie. The Banff Canoe Club has canoes that can be shared or individual, they are rented and with each one they give you basic instructions for their use as well as a life jacket as a safety measure. After a day in canoe you have the possibility to walk a few steps and find a variety of restaurants and areas to buy subsidies. So if you visit Banff this is a good option to admire nature from another perspective. (Original) Los pasajes que presenta este sitio son increíbles. We booked the paddle and ride packages from banff adventure. You get two hours of canoe at vermillion lake! We saw otters and goose while canoeing.
Wonderful tour with a lively tour guide. Thank you to everyone there!
Friendly staff, beautiful place to canoe.
Great way to explore the Bow River. The people at Banff Canoe Club were awesome (they clearly love what they do). They have options for both kayak and canoe. The hours on Google are reflective of their summer hours. If you're going off season, be sure to check out their website for those hours.
Great place to have your first canoe experience the staff was really friendly and they taught us well on how to row the canoe. The scene was great though the water was bit dirty but not their fault reasonable charges. I felt great and was thrilled throughout my experience. Attached are some scenes from the place may help you decide if this place is worth going.
No hassle rental to go out and enjoy the river. We only did arrive and rent (no guide, etc). Staff was friendly and helpful. River was great. Docked a star as pricing was a bit higher than I’d expect.
Great service and a perfect day on the river to boot! Couldn't ask for a better way to spend the last of the lazy days of summer!
(Translated) Good place to rent a kayak or canoe, the best service and the landscapes speak for themselves. (Original) Buen lugar para rentar un kayak o una canoa, el mejor servicio y los paisajes hablan por si solos.
I loved this place! Helpful staff, great prices, and an amazing canoe trip down the river!
Friendly customer service and not too expensive
Staff very informative n helpful (think it helped I had a cute & fluffy passenger) willing to give suggestions to make it an enjoyable trip!
Friendly folks, good rates for hiring canoes or kayaks....better than the guys offering rentals on the other lakes like Louise or Maligne. They only rent out per hour though, no all-day rates.
Amazing place too many fun.
Great prices especially if you're a local. Kayaks, canoes and SUPs available.
Great place. Very nice and friendly people.
This was an amazing experience for our family. Our tour guide, Ben, as well as the entire staff were great. We got clear instructions when making our reservation, and the prep for the canoe ride was nice, with lots of explanations about local wildlife. The ride itself was awesome, kids loved it and the length of the activity was perfect at least for those ages (5 and 3 years old). Definitely recommend for families with young children, perhaps to build up some confidence for future canoe rentals. Thanks!
Nice place
Great service. Loved the experience
Amazing! The creek is gorgeous. Go early to avoid the rush.
Lovely time kayaking 40 mile creek and Bow river. Our guide, Brooke was very knowledgeable about wild life, Banff park.
First time canoed, but the canoe club guy and lady explained and guided us well.
Fantastic experience
Gorgeous views on calm waters of the weather is bright. The canoes are light, easy to manage and comfortable. If you're in Banff on a gorgeous day, you should go.
Friendly and knowledgeable guides, was an excellent experience even in drizzly weather. Would definitely recommend!
Friendly chatty staff. Always a good time.
Friendly staff. Great location to either paddle up the river or take the creek to Vermillion Lakes.
Easy to rent, great views
Friendly staff, lovely day, great equipment and the views were awesome!!
Such a lovely experience! Friendly team!
Very cool staff. The views while canoeing are stunning too. We turned up at a community charity event just by chance and it was great. It was so nice to see them giving back to the local community. We went out on the water and stuck around for some food and donated some money. I even bought a new hat. It was a small but very nice event. Definitely worth going down to support these guys.
Super easy to get a canoe and the dog could come with us on a trip. Really nice surroundings on the river. Staff was polite and helpful. Recommended
The staff is great, the equipment is well maintained and honestly you cannot beat these views as you paddle up the bow valley river.
The people that run it are happy and very giving in info or canoe lessons
Staff could be friendlier.
Perfect setting for an easy-access paddle right from the center of Banff, with gorgeous scenery all around. Service was excellent, gear was good, and surprisingly for this location, rental rates are probably the most reasonable in the Canadian Rockies.
Hard to steer the boat but great fun
(Translated) We divided a canoe into two people and went to Bow Lake, which gives 1 hour round trip and was worth the experience. The water was calm, making the strokes easier. (Original) Dividimos uma canoa em duas pessoas e fomos até o Bow Lake, o que dá 1 hora ida e volta e valeu muito a experiência. A água estava calma facilitando as remadas.
Beautiful views, excellent and friendly staff. Totally recommend!
Great experience and friendly helpful staff
(Translated) In spite of being snake fast and friendly served, nice instruction and lots of fun. Definitely recommended! (Original) Trotz Schlange schnell und freundlich bedient worden, nette Einweisung und jede Menge Spaß. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!
It was a fun place to enjoy family activity. Fast service and good rate.
Reasonable hourly price. Great family activity! We got to see few wild animals while canoeing, so that was a plus!
Loved canoeing on the Bow River. Absolutely beautiful! Liked it better than Lake Louise:)
Lots of rentals. Clean place.
Staff was nice and welcoming . Was just walking by and seen it decided to give it a try and they had us in a boat 10 minutes later. Prices are very reasonable and river is absolutely beautiful.
Amazing time with Lucy and friends on our fantastic guided tour on kayaks. Would do it again for sure! Thank you again to our guide Lucy for all the fun facts and a great time!
Hood group of people who work there. Super busy at sometimes but worth the wait. Love how they have lower rates for locals.
(Translated) Great destination, nice staff. (Original) Tolles Ausflugsziel, nettes Personal.
Hired a canoe from here excellent experience although I recommend wearing trousers not shorts in July - I was bitten something stupidly.. my fault I know ????
Tour and Tour-guide was great. Crowd was a little bit annoying with the little kids talking and not listening. Good Experience, nice views. Sure its a bit pricey for 1.5 hours, but thats just how things are. Not much wildlife, but thats nothing the tour operator could be blamed for.
Beautiful, stunning loved the experience. Staff were so pleasant ♡
Great way to start the day. A genteel paddle up the Bow river with our guide Georgia and a family from Charlotte. Didn't see any wildlife but the experience was FANTASTIC ????
Nice. Beautiful place. But service ends at 4pm even sunset is at 10pm.
Very Beautiful we went on a guided tour in a very large canoe and we saw all the mountains and went along the river checking out the beaver dams and learning the history of Banff National Park.
Unsurpassed scenery!
the best thing to do in Banff. the staff is amazing! Austin in the man! he deserves a gold star :)
The employees were super helpful and going canoeing with two of my buddies wasn't too expensive. Great view, great people, amazing price. Love it.
(Translated) Nice moment with the family. We rented 3 kayaks to navigate the blue-green waters of the Bow River. Beautiful with the mountains behind. (Original) Beau moment en famille. Nous avons loué 3 kayaks pour naviguer sur les eaux bleu-verte de la rivière Bow. De toute beauté avec les montagnes derrière.
Loved it. The staff are so helpful and knowledgable about where to spot wildlife in the river! We saw duck families, elk and a big beaver! I recommend it 10/10!
Really cool experience to paddle along the bow river and see it from a canoe. The staff were super helpful and very friendly. I would highly recommend paying them a visit while in Banff. Definitely something I would go and do again.
Staff are funny and knowledgeable
Bow River is just as gorgeous as the other lakes nearby and you can follow all the bends at a reasonable price. Prepare your arms though.
(Translated) Although there is still no essentials for skating, we still like this new boating experience. Being careful is useless by brute force. Instead, it requires teamwork and a little bit of ease and wisdom, and enjoy the fun of losing control at the right time. After all, life will not be smooth sailing or plain all the way, even if it hits a rock, it can still be back on track. . One of the most recommended outdoor activities.
This is a must do whilst in Banff!! Perfect for the family or even by yourself. You can rent Kyaks, canoes and boards. You have to sign a waiver and they supply the life jackets. You can paddle the crystal clear glacier river and relax for hours. There is usually a lot of wild life on the banks of the river to take in, and when the train passes it's a pretty unique experience. Great for beginners and pros. They also offer guided river tours. Enjoy and have fun!!!
Great location to rent a boat to paddle around in. Great scenery with relatively slow moving water. Paddle upstream to start and have an easy trip back to dock or head up Echo Creek for a calm little float. Staff are great with decent covid protocols. Their payment processing is ancient though and ripe for credit card fraud so use your non-primary card here. They also hold your ID while you're out with the rental, which is also concerning from an ID theft perspective but I imagine they'd lose rentals at a higher frequency if they didn't. All in all, a great way to scratch your itch to paddle a canoe.
Great value for the price! Stunning views and wildlife. We had a wonderful time on the river. 10/10, would visit again.
Price is high to rent a canoe but the trip is nice.
Beautiful quick canoe adventure. Great to be out on the water!
Rented 2 kayaks and paddled to Vermilion Lakes. Very shallow in the lakes only 1 to 2 feet deep in most areas. Staff was friendly, but the guys on the dock were a little aloof. Lady inside asked one of them to go and confirm they had two kayaks available, but after 5 minutes I had to go check because he had forgotten.
For 50$ base price and 30$ for each additive hour, we managed to enjoy a relaxing canoe ride on the bow River.
(Translated) Lots of canoeing and kayaking (Original) Beaucoup de canoe et kayak
Great way to spend a couple hours free from the crowds of Banff avenue.
Terrible. Lake is murky and black and a rank view. Spend a little more and go to lake Louise. We were so disappointed. Only saw a couple ducks too. Waste of money time and energy.
Great time
(Translated) Nice sunset (Original) 日落不错的点
The best price in Banff and Jasper to rent a canoe. They don’t do reservations but we’re still able to get 2 canoes when arriving around 11am in a weekday. The mountain view and bow river is gorgeous but we didn’t see any wild animals.
Good price, equipment and canoes is well taken care of. It gets very busy after 11am get there early!
We did the kayak tour and it was amazing! Finn was great as our guide. He even took some photos of us and gave us great local tips for our trip! Highly recommended!
Fun and easy
You can rent a canoe or a kayak and the prices are pretty reasonable!
Friendly staff and wide variety to choose from canoe, single and double kayaks
Beautiful trip up the Bow river. AUSTIN was exceptional. Loved it! We saw elk , geese in a very big flying V formation overhead.
Rented a canoe to go along bow River and it was fantastic
Had a great few hours. Nice staff
Beautiful scenery
Canoeing that is cheaper than Lake Louise and Emerald Lake.
had a lovely time canoeing. rental prices are great and the staff were very nice
Canoeing on the Bow River in the early evening during the summer is a magical experience. The sunlight reflecting off of small waves sparkles brilliantly, making you feel like you’re floating among thousands of stars in an azure sky.
Definatly a must do ! When in Banff.
Took a canoe trip in a group and it was really beautiful. We seen wildlife and the experienced guide really knew his stuff. Told us he spotted a wolf once on a tour but we only seen some elk and also a snake in the water. The water was chilly but its artic fed so i expected that. Its a beautiful teal green/ blue color and its that way because of the glacier salt and its glacier fed. Id highly take this trip if possible. It's a great way to get away from the face paced lifestyle and take it nature.
Great support staff , awesome view and route for canoeing in Banff.
We had a great experience on the water as first time kayakers. Finn was our guide and he was great! Also gave us great recommendations for places to go in Banff afterward.
Always ready to help you!
Love it
Nice and relaxing
Awesome Awesome
gorgeous backdrop. water is prettier on the river, the creek to vermillion lake was ok.
Great place, they also have a live webcam.
These guys are extremely easy to work with and the kayak experience was fabulous. We were there slightly early in the season (very early June), but the Club was fairly busy with families renting canoes and kayaks. We rented a two person kayak for an hour and were told the way to go (basically not towards the big waterfall). Vermillion Lakes were peaceful, beautiful, and easy to get to. It took about 15 minutes to kayak there and 15 minutes back, which gives you half an hour to kayak around the lake or just relax. The mountains on all sides of the lakes provide a great backdrop for the trip. This was one of the highlights of our trip and the people at Banff Canoe Club made the rental easy and the trip enjoyable.
Great experience. First time taking 2 dogs in the canoe and the staff was patient and helpful. Very friendly. Good price. Beautiful scenery. Highly recommend.
Not many places to take the canoe. Way too overpriced.
Wish I could pclaim this place
Helpful staff, knowledgeable guides.
Rented a canoe from this club and the process was very fast and simple.
Fantastic tour would thoroughly recommend doing it. Saw lots of wildlife. Mick was our guide, very informative and lots of fun.
Great time here. Friendly staff and beautiful views.
Always a great time!
Lots of fun and good prices!
This was a perfect little outing for some quiet time with my wife. Great value and a relaxing experience.
Amazing views and very quite river. Makes for a very relaxing canoe or kayak experience.
Great guide down the Bow river. She gave us a terrific lesson on the park wildlife before we we off. Only problem was the other passengers weren't really helping paddle. Tough rude when only 3 paddling on an 8 man canoe. Views were stunning. Saw a beaver dam. Mosquitoes were horrid. Did I mention the views were stunning?
$45 for one hour, $70 for two hours which is not bad.
I have been frequently visiting the Banff Canoe Club a number of times over the years and have had wonderful experiences. However, I was very shocked and disappointed on how poorly the staff members handled a potentially fatal situation. During my last visit within the first 30 minutes, 3 members of my group flipped over in their canoe. My mother as well as my 2 brothers as young as 10 years old. My group was closer to the docks so we thought it was best to go over and get help from the staff while blowing our safety whistles. As we reached the docks we alerted the staff members of the situation. They did not hear any of our whistle blows, even though we were fairly close within range of hearing it if the staff members were paying attention. They then scrambled for about 10 minutes figuring out what to do and attempting to start the motor on their canoe. By that time my second group and a family of very kind strangers helped my family get out of the cold water and paddle back to the dock for safety. While waiting in line to pay, two of the staff members were attempting to joke with me about a potentially fatal regarding my family. 1 of the men said, good thing that family came to help them. I agreed. The other man said "at least the weather is nice today", as if the water wasn't freezing cold. If they were in there any longer they could have been at risk for hypothermia. They are decent swimmers however, the water was really cold and they were panicking due to the highly stressful situation. We fully understood the risks of getting in the water by signing the waiver but I seriously thought the company would have an implementation plan in place in case of emergencies.
Great price for a canoe and a nice paddle! The water is a beautiful turquoise just like Lake Louise but with the freedom of paddling up river, and in my opinion more to explore. Staff was funny and friendly, no problems at all. Didn't take a tour so I can't speak for those, but paddled past one and all of the participants looked happy!
Just do it!
(Translated) I liked that the staff were friendly~ Oh, and in early July, there were a lot of mosquitoes. Be sure to apply mosquito repellent! (Original) 스탭들이 친절해서 좋았아요~ 아 그리고 7월 초였는데 모기가 많았어요. 모기약 꼭 바르고 가세요~
My family was lucky enough to take a canoe ride up Bow River with Banff Canoe Club. It was lovely out on the river, made even more so by our wonderful guide, Lucy. Lucy is very knowledgeable about local wildlife and has lots of entertaining anecdotes. So happy we had her as our guide.
We went on a canoe tour for my sisters Birthday is was so much fun touring the bow river. The Banff Canoe is great place to do this. Holly our canoe guide was awesome very knowledgeable about the activities that going on in banff as well as the history of past years. It was a great afternoon. You should check it out reason in price as well.
This was an amazing experience
The scenic view was good. But honestly the workers seem very uninterested when explaining stuff especially for first timers it was a bit unsettling. We weren't instructed how to turn around or whether to come back at the beach or dock nor about the whistle use if necessary. They may have been tired since we came after 6pm. But more signs or tv with a video with detail instructions should be there.
The highlight of our time in Banff. Price very reasonable. Scenery was priceless. Watching Elk family feed and a 2 Muscrat munch was just great. A short walk from town and soo much fun.
Was awesome so peaceful!
You can rent a kayak or canoe here. Nice to explore the area from river.
Nice, friendly staff and well-equipped with clean life jackets and oars. Canoes were nice and the view was absolutely beautiful!!! The only complaint I would have is that the price is a little high ($42 for one canoe)... but in comparison to Lake Louise which is $100, it's good! Haha. Gorgeous waters, loved it! Would recommend to anyone. However watch out for parking. The lots are small there so you may have to park on the streets outside and walk down.
Beautiful
Nice experience. Efficient and friendly service. Definitely coming back!
I am giving it a 4 Star rating, because we were unable to hire a boat due to its closure during our visits to Banff. However the Views of Bow River were very beautiful, particular with Canoe Club as it's ornament. One picture from me.
It was an awesome experience and the staff were super friendly! 10/10 recommend

It was so awesome that its hard even to explain it...
The lake is very beautiful.
Amazing we has so much fun
It was awesome we love it and still talking about it
Staff are great. A very fun experience.

Very relaxing and enjoyable canoe ride to vermilion lake. Staff all had great customer service skills.
(Translated) Excellent service, really nice place (Original) שירות מעולה, מקום ממש יפה
Great experience. Good instructions given. Lovely peaceful trip. Well worth the fee.
Beautiful view on Vermilion lake. It's crazy under the bridge where the train goes ♡ wow
Great place to launch and rent a boat. Take the creek way it is so relaxing.
Super friendly staff! Views are great!
Fun time with a great guide, Austin.
Awesome and helpful staff. The price is fair enough and the views are just amazing!
Best prices in the bow Valley!
Awesome spot on the Bow River. Friendly staff and way more reasonable prices than the insane amounts at Lake Louise and Emerald Lake.
Really good experiance. It was my first time, and I do not know swimming!... so the person at the Canoe club was very helpful to make me confident of doing it .... and yes, I've done it on the side creeeks canal and the big one towards lake Vermilion. Took some great videos and photos in this clear greenish blue lake water.
Great guides
Great way to spend a morning in Banff! We went mid morning, had no problems getting a kayak. The river and scenery was gorgeous and the water very calm. There was a little dam to get your boat over which was interesting but part of the experience. This is great for beginners because the water is shallow, clean and slow moving. I would recommend going in the morning because it seemed to get a lot busier in the afternoon. The price was also reasonable.
Easy going and great sights
Decent equipment. Great staff.
We rented 5 canoes for our family trip and the guys here are very nice and even gave us a 10 minute allowance since we have a big group. Definitely recommended!
This is an awesome experience that was fast and easy to do. Go get your boat!
Pretty good little outfit. Not super organized but it has its own logic. Definitely worth it for the views, and the price is very good given how much other places charge for not nearly as good of a location.
Breath-taking and so calming
