I had many positive 4 Aces experiences before the one I am reviewing now, and have always recommended them, until now. On a cold winter day, I called the cab to go from Three Sisters to the ACC. The rates are posted in the vehicle, and ACC said $15. Seems high for a 6km trip, and that same distance is $12 if you are going to town, but that's Canmore. Everything is a little high. As the ride was ending, I pulled out my money out and said, "$15?" the driver said, "Actually, it's $20." and then said something about it being two farther out points. Maybe posting this info along with the other rates would help to avoid the sense that I'm being taken advantage of in the battery killing cold.

Hung up on me because they didn't want to have customers who pay with a cc. Literally said : we don't want to do business with you. Then hung up. Impolite and not professional !

Dangerous and unprofessional service. We nearly hit a cyclist, who had the right of way, and the driver (license plate L-68533) had the audacity to scream obscenities at the poor cyclist. Don’t recommend- use Three Sisters Taxi instead

This was for this morning, I called promptly at 4:05am an was given a time limit of just 10 minutes. At 4:22am, no cab arrived as promised. So I cancelled their service an went with a more reliable source. This is terrible customer service if you give out shallow promises to your guests and then pull a no-show on them.

The cabs always smell like smoke and when i see a driver with no passengers they are smoking a cigarette. Arent cabs supposed to be smoke free?

Called Canmore Taxi first and the interaction with the dispatcher was HORRIFIC. This gentleman was so kind, answered my questions, told me the expected price for a round trip between here and Canmore so there was no surprises, and was just an all around helpful employee. Will be using this cab service from now on!

4 Aces is awesome :) I've used them before to get from Canmore to Exshaw, but I was a little bit worried that if I called a cab from Exshaw at midnight on a Friday that no one would come out cuz it's far and they could probably make more money staying downtown. But I called a 4 Aces cab last night at midnight and it was here in less than 25 minutes to take my friends back to their hotel in Canmore safely. Thanks 4 Aces for coming out to my neck of the woods :)

Worst cab driver EVER Last night, my family and myself went to Canmore for New Years dinner. We called went to Gauchos and had called cabs to pick us up and take us back to the hotel. There was 8 of us, so we needed 2 cabs to take us back. 4 of us ladies took the 1st can that came and the second we got in, things went badly. The cabbie was extremely rude and announced that it was double fare because of NYE, we said we have never heard that before, but ok, that was fine. He then sat in front of the restaurant and turned the meter on and left it on. We asked him if he was planning on driving and he snapped at us and told us "We need to learn a lesson on patience." When our friend who was sitting in the front turned around and said Hi to us, he snapped and said if he hears anymore from us he is kicking us out. My sister called him out on texting and driving with us in the cab and he yelled at us saying "He has been doing this job for a week and a half and he knows what he is doing." When our friend turned around and said that she was glad that the men weren't in this cab, the cabbie pulled over in a not safe spot and told us to "Get out". He was going the wrong way to our hotel and thankfully we were only a 5 minute walk to our hotel. He was threatening to call the police and we were not drunk or beligierent, we just wanted to get back to our hotel!! The cab driver refused to give us his name and number. I took a picture and video of the confrontation. After he kicked us out, I called the cab company and filed a complaint. The cab company itself was great and very apologetic, but this cab driver of car 73 deserves to lose his job and should not be able to work with the public. He tried to rip us off with the double fare, tried to take the wrong way to make more money from us and told us to get out in a place that was not safe.

We called and the driver said he would be 15-20 minutes and we asked him to call when he got there. After waiting for 40 minutes no one showed up and we didn't get a call so we walked and never ended up hearing from the company.

Seriously worst drivers. Today at July 2nd at 12:10 am, I was waiting to turn left on palliser trail and a driver passed me honking horn. Seriously, what I did? Made you wait for few seconds. Be respectful to all vehicles on road if you want respect. Won’t recommend these inconsiderate drivers to anyone.
