Submitted a request for an online quote. The website is great, though there were some technical glitches (the address autocompletes and it generated the wrong postal code). This business never bothered to email or call me back even though I did receive a confirmation email that they received my request. Clearly that's unprofessional, but still, I've heard and read good things so maybe calling them is the way to go. Good luck!

The two individuals that moved my furniture were professional, polite and above all moved very quickly to get the my furniture out of my Condo and onto the truck that had to travel to Barrie. Their fast service saved me money and as a senior I appreciated that. I would highly recommend this company. I also want to say that the sales staff in the office were all very polite and helpful and gave me an accurate quote. Plus all Covid rules were enforced to keep myself and the movers safe.

I hired Two Men and a Truck to move my household items from a single detached house. An itemized list was provided to a staff member who provided me a quote of $1,100 for 7.5 hours. Before the move, a couch, loveseat and queen size mattress which were included in the quote were already gone as well as 3 large televisions. After 3 hours of loading the truck it was full. The Mover asked me if I could move the rest of the stuff myself to which I replied no. The Mover then called the office and told them there was only about 20 minutes worth of work left so they sent another truck. The first truck headed to my new house to unload their truck. After 30 minutes I had to meet truck 2 at the old house. It took the 2 Movers an hour and a half to load the remaining items, not 20 minutes. Once everything was unloaded they headed to my son's house to pick up and deliver a hot tub to my house which is approximately 8 minutes away. It was about 3pm when the Movers were done and left. My bill went from $1,100 to $1,650 and they only worked from 9am to 3pm even though I paid for 7.5 hours. Needless to say I will not be using this Moving company again!!

I used them twice, once to a storage locker and then to my new home. They were on time and fast. There was no elevator for my condo and there was a lot of stuff. I also purchased their boxes, which were great sizes. I definitely recommend them. Also office staff was very responsive.

Hussein, Hamdi, and Alico were amazing! They were on time, super professional, kind, and so fast. They treated all our items with a lot of care, wrapped everything for added protection, and maneuvered the truck so as to not block the road. They are an amazing team. It took them less than an hour to move all our items from a 3 storey townhouse and then another hour to move all the items into a condo with tight curves. They are phenomenal! I would use all three of them and Two Men and a Truck again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our move so stress-free! You are all awesome!

Asked for a quote for next year, after spending a bunch of my time filling in the quote request on the website. They advertise long distance moving coast to coast. I asked for a move 4 provinces over and was told they don’t offer that.. just beware don’t waste your time on the website. They then recommended a different company which I looked up and they have very low ratings and bad reviews. Thanks but no thanks.

The move did not go to plan when the lone elevator for my condo broke down. Three movers and I stuck in an elevator for half an hour. Things were rescheduled two days later and they took all my heavy solid wood furniture up three flights of stairs in just two hours. They were friendly and professional the whole time

I have done a few major moves and this by far was the best moving company I have ever worked with. Obtaining an estimate was easy and it was extremely detailed resulting in no unexpected fees, in fact our move came in less than what we were quoted. The office staff was efficient with the booking and the actual move team was top-notch. We were moving my in-laws from their 30 year home into an independent living retirement home. The team knew exactly what they were doing and worked with absolute safety and efficiency. The team lead oversaw his crew and made sure things ran smooth while working alongside to get things out the door. They were professional, polite and made everyone comfortable and at ease. Everything made it in the move and the team worked extra hard to make the very narrow moving window given at these facilities. Not a good experience at all! Given a quote and on moving day they sent way to small a truck, we ordered 3 guys and only 2 showed up. It was estimate of 8 to 10 hours and it took 14 hours with us helping. They also forgot to bring special boxes ordered for our tv and mirrors. The only positive thing we can say is the 2 young men that came were troopers.

These guys were prompt, adaptable and made everything happen on time. There were a few small miscommunications which led to some confusion on the day of. They didn't tell us the crib needed to be taken apart so we had to do it in a rush the day of. The boys were very respectful but make sure you're clear early on about any concerns you have even if they're in a rush! I gave them 5 stars despite the challenges because later in the day they were very adaptable and kept their cool through a 10 hour move. It was money well spent and I would recommend them to anyone.

We were downsizing a lot of larger furniture items to our new condominium and we were concerned of the elevator and smaller hallway, so our family decided to hire a moving company to help for the first time. Although the movers showed up slightly later than the time, they moved everything very quickly and with care. The team was polite and cheerful the entire time helped us. Everyone was masked and followed COVID protocols. They finished within 2 hours and if we had known they were so fast, we would have prepared more items to move! We would recommend them 100%.

2 men and a truck movers tracked black shoe prints all over our newly cleaned carpeting throughout our house. I asked them to put on shoe protection 5 minutes into the move and they told me they did not have anything to protect my carpets. I was told to take photos and submit a claim through the company. I did and after a full month of waiting the manager finally called me back to tell me that they would not take any responsibility for the damage to my carpet. He actually went as far as suggesting that his movers said it was probably me who scuffed up my own carpet. There was no resolution, refund or apology. This company service is subpar, the management makes no apologies, this is business as usual for them. I paid $500 and now have to spend more of my own money to have a carpet cleaner come in and clean up the damage created by this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I was pleasantly surprised by how well trained and how fast 2 Men and A Truck are! I had never used them before, but I am so glad I did. The man who answered the phone was very helpful and very understanding of the situation and the furniture that needed moving. There were 3 pickup/drop off spots all together. The guys who moved the furniture were also very helpful and understanding in the fact that my apartment building, which is very old and doesn't have an elevator, and were very professional and knowledgeable as to how to move the furniture around my very small apartment without damaging anything or hitting anything, and down the steep stairs. I 100% would recommend Two Men and A Truck to anyone who is moving! Grest guys to deal with and great and professional service!

Had some large furniture to move around my house. The movers showed up early and were professional and friendly, and did the move without damaging anything. They asked if they could wear shoes in the house while moving something from my garage up to the to level--appreciated them asking. Be aware the charge for service is a minimum two hours, but this was clearly disclosed to me ahead of time during booking. Happy with my experience and would recommend using Two Men and a Truck.

I am appalled with this company's business practises. I scheduled in advance. First of all, they arrived to move my things and the manager didn't say a word just blew past me and started on a tirade stating how my move could not be completed fully. Next, moved only half the things in my home and then told me the move could not be completed. I was left the day of my move, with no movers and only half of my things moved. The movers abandoned the move stating they "didn't have time". The manager/owner denied all responsibility and offered no solution. I ended up having to ask a few friends to help as my closing date is the next morning. Bottom line? This company offered me half of a completed job, argued with me, and left me stranded on an already stressful day. I'm beyond unimpressed and upon sharing my situation with another company, they had guessed I used two guys and a truck. A bad reputation for a company with poor business practises.

My great experience all started with Shaun in the office who coordinated everything from the beginning. Then the crew of Kalvin, Hamdi, & Karandir were fantastic from the minute they showed up. The guys didn't waste any time and got right down to business....they told me what their plan was and started loading the truck like a well oiled machine. This was my first time moving and these guys certainly made the experience much better than I was expecting. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for my next move!

Moving during a pandemic is an adventure to say the least. I called the folks at the Etobicoke location and I have to say the level of radiant positivity exuded by everyone involved from Nancy the Office Manager to the movers - Brad and Libby, was unprecedented. The move was scheduled early Saturday morning. I was impressed by the energy and positivity right away! They moved so quick and a move that was quoted to take 3.5hrs was cut to 3hrs and no matter what the worry, in Brad's words - "don't worry, EVERYTHING is easy!!!" I had never used a moving company before, but I will 100% be suggesting them to anyone I know who is looking for a hassle free move by people who genuinely love what they do!

If i could rate this company a ZERO i would..... first off i would love to know how it takes "2 professional movers" to move a 10x10 storage unit into a home 6 hours and over 1000$ later????? I recently had moved my things twice with another company that only took 4 hours both times and i had more belongings that were coming out of my home and into another home (which is wayyyyy more work) also the men moving my belongings told me it was no problem if i left the storage facility and they wld meet me at my house....... for the company to unload a 10x10 took them almost 3 hours......... the company iffice manager cannot explain this so how should i be expected too?? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY OR YOU WILL PAY IN MORE WAYS THAN 1

We picked the worst day to move (it snowed a foot over night and was freezing) but they still arrived right on time, were extremely friendly and courteous and efficient. We moved two different condos into an extremely difficult to access home and they still managed to fit everything in the estimated time. No surprises and everything ended up where it should be with no damage or issues. One of the nice gentleman even noticed and then fixed an issue with our entertainment unit. We couldn't be happier moving into our new home. Stress free and pain free. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who moves and if and when we move again they'll be the first call we make. The move included many pieces that could not be replaced and I was thankful the crew took time to protect each piece. A winter move is never easy but the crew was always cheerful and considerate. Couldn't be happier with the services we received. Erna was very helpful arranging things, and our movers Andre and Carlos were both friendly and efficient. The move out was a challenge, as there was only one elevator in service so the landlord wouldn't put it on service. Plus, the ramp leading to the main doors only had room for the truck, so they occasionally had to move the truck to let other traffic pass. Even with all the hurdles, the move went well, and they even helped us disassemble and reassemble our heavy and difficult Ikea bed. Highly recommended!

I called two men and a truck (TMT) because of their reputation but was disappointed. Being fair am giving 2/5. It was a small move for TMT (several pieces and some boxes), less than 1 km between distances. The problem began as I didn’t receive their email indicating the terms of a 3 hour minimum (the move took approx 2 hours). Some items should have been assembled on delivery as this would have been the common sense thing to do. Spoke with Omar at head office and indicated there was a language barrier at the move and could not understand my dad but only called me at the end of the move for a tip. I asked to be charged for 2 hours as I found to be fair and reasonable and Omar said the best he can do is 2 hours and 15 minutes so this review is over approximately $40. I find TMT need to managed carefully otherwise the least amount of work will be done. All of this could have been avoided if TMT sent the email (they misspelt Gmail) outlining the terms and the mover actually calling at the beginning of the move if they weren’t sure. Used these guys before, with Teresa, for clients and they were great! Easy, peasy. Second time not so much. I was dealing with Jacob. All I needed was my house moved from one location to another. Same town. 3 bedroom house. No big deal. He insistsed I fill out a item sheet. Do you know every item in your house? Do you have the time to go through them all? I do not. I have small kids, a 100 hour a week job and no time. I asked, politely, if I could skip this step as it would take a considerable amount of time. I was told no. I asked to speak to a manager and was told this is their company policy and to respectfully take my business elsewhere. So I did!

They told me not to move anything, even the stuff I wished to take in my own vehicle they would take down to my car for me. They took beds apart and reassembled them at the new location. At the new location I was told as long as they were on site if I wanted anything moved that all I needed was to ask. I couldn't have asked for more. Also they were 2 of the most appreciative guys I've dealt with. I supplied lunch and tipped them and they were very appreciative, and you could tell it in their faces. Lots of people expect tips and such but these gentleman never gave off that feeling at all, I even had to stop them from leaving just to give it to them.

Well I can't state how therly treat there customer... But when asked to move by 4 neighbors for blocking to street they were very snippy. I myself am a fellow mover and this is a disgrace to the whole industry.... When I asked him to move he was very very rude and swore. Side note none of the items are wrapped entering the home... I paid over $500 to move from a Bachelor apartment to a basement suite. I had a lot of stuff and no access to parking downtown or to hold the elevator for the movers - I had told this over the phone prior to the move but the movers were unaware of this when they arrived. I didn't mind paying more for the time it took, but my items were damaged and the movers seemed overworked and pressed for time. I reached out privately by email to talk about the service I recieved and never recieved a reply back. I now have a damaged table and shelf and am posting this because this company chose not to handle any of this with me privately.

I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with the communication coming from their dispatch employee/coordinator. I'd rather have the company reschedule my move request then make up stories about issues with their trucks & equipment, followed by issues with updating the vehicles GPS. (The reason why they were delayed was a shortage of staff on that day). Geez, I live in an older part of St. Albert, what is there to update? The moving staff told me that the coordinator would follow-up with a telephone call regarding the repeated delays...he never called. Not worth the money I paid to have a freezer moved from my neighbours house into mine. I ended up cancelling the request to have the movers move other items within my house. Will not recommend to others.

I can’t speak highly enough of this company and its staff. This review is long overdue but they helped me out of a very tight spot when I moved in 2015. Another moving company had bailed on me at noon on the day I was supposed to move out of an apartment. Every other moving company I called was unwilling to help me out. These guys were great. They sent a crew over within the hour. They also could have charged me way more than they did but I actually feel like they gave me a really good deal given the situation. The movers I had were kind and professional and everyone at the company was sympathetic to how stressful this situation was for me. The service providers are so unprofessional. I called to book an appointment with them and clearly mentioned to the lady that I only needed 2 hours maximum. I did not want to pay for more than that I said to her. She said it’d be okay since you cannot go less than 2 hours. I said sounds good. Later she asked for my credit card just to get a call the next day that I had been charged for 4 hours. I was so frustrated because I had mentioned to the lady a million times I did not need more than 2 hrs to move my stuff. We went back and forth till she decided to refund me. I did not get why they would charge me for more than what I wanted to pay for!. Later we got to the moving place, the 2 men looked at the load they and said, “we are going to need 6 hours to move this”. I said no you do not. I called the office and the lady kept talking wasting my time till an hour went by and nothing had been done. She wanted to convince me I needed more hours. I kept telling her I did not. I said they can move whatever they can within that time and period and if 2 hours was over, they could leave. She would not listen and instead kept arguing I should pay more. I told her well this is so unprofessional we should cancel the moving. She told me I was still going to pay the full amount whether the service was done or not. I was so enraged and finally the movers started moving and did nearly a quarter of the stuff I needed moved in an hour and an extra 30 minutes because the first 1 hour was wasted. I was charged $364.88 for 2hours and a half.

The crew showed up with no masks or floor protection. They marked up the new front door. Numerous items were damaged costing us thousands. The crew was visibly rough with items. I watched one guy throw our belongings into the garage when he thought nobody was watching. They somehow lost one of our two 100lb dumbbells. When we called to let them know after we had unpacked they were not willing to do anything to rectify the situation. We were told it must be in a box somewhere at our place. They smoked right outside our door and around our newborn and 1 year old. They were constantly swearing around us and our kids. Once we got to our new house our baby needed to sleep . We put her on a mattress in a bedroom stacked with boxes. We told the crew she was sleeping there so not to go in. They all collectively groaned and complained about this for some unknown reason. All of our bins were labelled by rooms to make it very easy. We had kitchen bins in bathrooms, winter tires put in the basement even though we have a garage, basement bins in bedrooms. Instead of putting our couches so you could sit on them the laid them upside down for no particular reason. I cannot begin to express the incompetence of this group. They have zero respect for peoples belongings. It seems once you sign the damage waiver before they start loading your items that you might as well assume the move is going to cost you significantly more than anticipated. Do not be fooled by the office staff. Once the actual moving crew is on site its all own hill from there.

The worst moving experience I’ve ever had, do NOT hire this company. -The movers were almost an hour late, they said it was because they had been given the wrong address. We were charged for the entire hour it took them to show up. -The movers did not wear masks into the house we were moving from, or while they were loading. They also made no effort to maintain a 6 foot distance from us. Before the movers were finished packing our things into the truck, we told them that they would have to wear masks while moving our things into the new house. They said that they did not have ANY masks with them, OR in the vehicle. -Once the truck was packed and ready to go to the new house, we were left waiting for the movers for another 15 minutes because they had to drive around and purchase masks, time that we were also billed for. -Over the course of the move, they were slow and unprofessional. They took several smoke breaks, adding up to half an hour of time that we paid for. They complained openly to us about how much they disliked being movers and how much of a hassle our furniture was. -The move was extremely slow and inefficient, taking nearly 5 hours to move what other companies we’ve hired in the past could easily have done in 3. -My credit card was charged before the movers even left, and I didn’t receive ANY invoice or proof of payment until two weeks later, after emailing the company three times.

They assessed the house to see what needed to be moved, made a plan and proceeded to pack up the truck accordingly. Mats were used to cover and protect flooring during the move. Not very happy with the service, truck showed up flooded with damaged boxes, everyone blamed everyone else and at the end of the day they charged me a full price for an incomplete service. Due to the flooding on the truck they were not able to move all of my items and I had to incur additional costs to move my items through other methods. The really disappointing factor is that after repeated attempts to contact Two Men and a Truck local office and head office to receive some acknowledgement of what occurred, I have received no feedback or resolution. Very disappointed, I would strongly suggest using a different company for you moving needs.

Pros: The process of booking was simple. The movers were nice, and on time. Cons: the guys were clearly going as slow as they could to pad the time. Eg: there were cases of them going back to the truck to grab a thing and they didn't take anything with them on the way down, instances when they would grab a single light weight item that a small child could easily carry and not grabbing another lightweight thing that was sitting next to it. Customer Service is terrible, especially from James who NEVER once called me back when he said he was going to, I continually had to chase him. 3 months after the move my broken item was finally dropped off to me. The repair job looks like it could have been done by a child! Oh, and buy the way there is a $150 deductible on any repairs or replacements they have to make. I was just told this info this week after dealing with this for 3 months...good luck getting more money out of me! Save yourselves the headache and stay away from Two Men and a Truck Burlington!

TwoMen and a Truck provide terrible service. My tenant got its service for moving out in March 2020 and complained the price is more than double what the tenant can find from the community, while service is terrible. The service guys left numerous scratches on the wall and even broken the drywall. Ridiculously, no one come to repair the broken drywall and their last responding email and the only email I got from TwoMen was in Sep 2020. Is the company out of business?

First rate. Tyler & Mo showed up on time and got right down to work. This was a local move from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment. They carefully wrapped the dressers & tv in blankets. They were careful on both ends of the move being careful not to scratch either the furniture or the walls. I had a move with the London Two Men and a Truck in July during which several pieces of furniture including glass display case were damaged with broken glass. The movers explained to us how the furniture was broken during transport, documented the damage, and told us that the company will be able to fix the damaged caused by the movers. I promptly documented the damage and reached out to the office by email. I did not get any response. I called the London branch and was told that only the manager can deal with this issue. Over the next 2 weeks I had to call it several more times, each time to be told that he will call back. Only today (17 days after moving) did he finally call back. The manager was brusque on the phone. He did not address our concern, and even make light my request for an assessment. He basically refused to take ownership over what happened and how his office and he was unresponsive to our legitimate concerns. I think I'm left with no recourse but to leave my personal negative experience on social media and google review. I feel an obligation towards other consumers who are looking for a moving company to know how things can go wrong and you can be left with no recourse. I had initially decided to use Two Men and A Truck because of good reviews online, and the slogan "The movers who care". I am very disappointed.

This was the first time using Two Men and a Truck. My go to guy for the last 35 years was no longer in business. From the first contact asking for a quote to the day of the move, I received excellent service. Shaun who answered my request for a quote was knowledgeable and willing to amend my quote as my needs changed. The prescreening from the company regarding Covid-19 protocols made me feel secure that my move would go well. On the day of the move the moving team kept in contact with me. They worked quickly and efficiently and finished the job in a timely manner. My initial quote was amended to reflect the actual time needed to perform the job. The technology used to track my move and payment also made for a seemless process. I will use this service again and if possible request the three young mentioned above. They worked well as a team.

I'm tires of calling .for nothing gets done Not really, if your clients are important , you would have been answered my calls fix something with me, but in addition to stealing from me more than $ 500 of my things and breaking some obstacles, your manager told me and asked me for a few days to fix the problem and never did. so in addition to stealing and being liar, I really don't know how they continue in business and I'm really going to open a case at the best business bureau because you are literally taking advantage of their clients I was very happy with everything until 3 boxes were stolen from me and what a coincidence that it was 3 boxes with liquor worth more than $ 500 dollars they called me and I told them what happened and they never contacted me or tried to fix the problem. I think after paid almost $1,400 dollars , these things would not happen or at least have the decency to try to fix the problem. very angry with this whole situation

This company is missing honesty and integrity. Deceptive billing. They doubled the actual travel times to knock up the bill by a small amount they didn't think I would care about. I was given an excuse that it was a big truck and there was traffic (Wednesday 2pm traffic is nonexistent in London). I knew all destinations well and can ride a bicycle in the same time they gave me for travel, google maps agrees. I had someone present at the start location sign the invoice and they are standing behind the position that it was a signed estimate. I was under the belief as I was told before hand that they would charge me the actual time, not a random figure they decided between my estimated time window. Their go to point is that I was not there. I did however have them timed at the original and final destination on video at both places so their only defense was travel times and it was signed. There were no problems with the move just the easily documentable exaggerated costs. It's been a month, I did contact them and they said they would look into it, never to hear from them again. A sure sign of guilt. Crooks!

Movers were late, we were charged for a mattress bag when they didn't even move our mattress or bed at all. They complained about having to move so many things when in reality I was very upfront about what had to be moved (small furniture items, and some slightly larger), no boxes. Rather than carry some of the lighter items together, why not strap them to a dolly and bounce them down the stairs? (seriously, what the ____ ) They scratched the floor in our old suite and the walls in the new suite, when I pointed it out they said it's just the door (What?!). When we called the office to try and mitigate everything they didn't care about our experience at all. Given the stress, we should have moved everything ourselves and considering we did with the exception of the small furniture pieces and couches, why not a little more without dealing with people that didn't care? Would not recommend this service again. They also tried to charge us for the time they were late. Who does that?

Booked a truck and 3 guys to help with the move, overall was worth the money, iffif a bittbit overpriced - also first I have used a moving company. Office staff were helpful in the estimates. The truck was about 35 minutes late and I tried calling several times with no answer so I got quite concerned as I only had the elevator for set amount of time. I got no early confirmation except for 5 minutes before arriving, would have been good to get a confirmation the day prior. Once they did arrive it took another 20 or so minutes for them to park the truck, which they had to redo after doing it backwards, perhaps poor communication from the building super, but truck drivers should understand how to park easily to load a truck. So effectively I paid an hour's work which should have been about 20 minutes. Once the guys got here they did a good job. Of the 3 guys one was excellent and clearly experienced, the other two were obviously new and slower than I would expect a professional company to operate. But they got the job done. The main guy wrapped all furniture and I saw no damage at all so the took care. Overall i would recommend Two Men and a Truck.

In short - I will NEVER recommend Two Men and a Truck for moving services - not to ANYONE! In detail - I was abandoned on the day of my move by Two Men and a Truck - because of an unverified "health hazard" that the head mover claimed was my cat pissing on my boxes. Not only were my boxes completely dry, but my cat has been fixed and was quarantined on the day of my move. The movers "discovered" this so-called health hazard after loading the first third of my boxes into the truck, and then reneged on the contract. Not only did they fail to qualify or substantiate their claims of a health hazard (to the best of my knowledge, none of the movers are health specialists and in fact only one of the movers complained of a smell in his truck which he attributed to my boxes) but they also failed to communicate any protocol for handling the situation. If there was a health hazard, it didn't present a problem somehow in them continuing to handle my boxes to remove them from the truck. I was not offered an opportunity to see the truck before it was closed to ensure all my boxes were returned, and I was left high and dry on my moving day without any recourse. I am thoroughly dissatisfied. To clarify even further, I rented a rental truck at the last minute from another company and did the move myself with the help of family and friends. NOT A SINGLE PERSON identified a smell or suspicious boxes during the move, and all of us were able to complete the move (after a very, very long day) without ANY health concerns. Moving is stressful enough without the incompetence - GO ELSEWHERE!!

These guys when they moved me, left a bunch of stuff behind, gave my computer chair to the WRONG customer, and tried to stuff a bunch of picture frames (with glass faces) into a bin, shattering the glass. They then threw the pictures away (Jokes on you turds, thanks for the pile of glass shards in my laundry) They also broke my shelf unit(A damn steel shelf, tiny one if u can believe it), took 4-5 hrs to arrive after loading my items (Which was barely half a load) If the original guys are still around somewhere, its time to talk to these 2 guys you gave your truck to. And its not Islamophobia if they really are doing a bad job to tell them they are doing a bad job.

I'm so disappointed, I was in tears. They initially arrived and were courteous and gentlemen. They worked hard at the move and were always smiling. At one point in the day I looked out the window and saw one of them putting my chaise lounge into the truck without having wrapped it and kicking it into place. I was devastated., but ignored it. After the fact, it all sat there for a couple of weeks while I unpacked and put everything into place. Then I discovered the wide spread damage. The walls had been devastated, and many of the furniture pieces damaged. Most of all, my metal print had been damaged...this brought me to tears. 1400.00 5 km move was the most destructive move. Keep in mind that this furniture had once been moved from Alberta without a scratch. I cannot if good faith recommend this mover.

"Two men and a truck" moved my girlfriend about a month ago. They caused extensive damage to the door frame at her old house, and her large dresser. Maybe the dresser was too big for them; they seemed like they struggled with smaller pieces too. Seems like they just hire whoever and throw them on a truck. The movers were very careless and seemed like they wanted get the job done faster than they could. She has been in contact with the office for weeks now with no resolution. She had to pay out of pocket to fix the damage to the door frame at the old house. From what I understand, these guys have only been in business in the area for a few years... so I'll choose someone with more experience when I move in with her in October.

As our closing date landed right in the middle of Lock down, I wanted to hire a professional moving company for the safety of my family and the people around us. 2 men and a truck were NOT THE PROFESSIONALS I was after..... Despite their website saying they were experts in moving during this difficult time, The movers arrived with dirty gloves and no masks.. They DID NOT wrap or protect our mattresses in any way... And even left boot prints on a king size mattress. They caused damage multiple time to our new home .. yet when I told customer service they said there is a COST to SUBMIT any claims.. I went back and forth with customer service for 2 months within no resolve... I am done with this company.

Scheduled a move and tried to use this company. They called to confirm nthw day before but on moving day they cannot be reached and when they doak contact they are saying it is normal that movers are late and they would not arrive until 2 hours after the scheduled time . Seems it to a better and cheaper to just rent a vehicle from Discount, home depo or U-Haul and do the job yourself. $900 bucks saved - if you are running a business do that if it is a hustling let the customer know upfront.

I don’t know what the steps are and was not instructed of them. I had a truck booked tentatively and only needed confirmation for a move-in. "First come, fist served' they told us. But instead of telling us that other people wanted to book the truck, and giving us first right of refusal, they simply gave it to someone else and left us high and dry. Had they told me that someone else wanted it, I would have confirmed it, but they care more about money than they do about serving people. Very disappointed.

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY LIFE! Let me start out by saying that I've using moving companies several times to transition between homes. This by far was the worst experience ever! It's been a little over two months so i have had time to calm down, but feel exactly the same as i did during my move day. Let me explain.... Movers arrived on time (great). They were both inexperienced and super young. One had been on the job for a week and the other for 3 months. The more "experienced" mover was a 19 year old kid who came to the job with a broken hand! I asked him if he told his boss, Jay, who told him to work with the broken hand anyway. Long story short, these guys took way too long for the move that should've taken 6 hours turned into 12 hrs. The broken hand kid basically gave up and I stepped in to help them to get the move done quicker. They ended up sending some very last minute at 11pm to get the job done. This of course costed me more having someone who was unfit to do the job since it took longer. They had the audacity to charge me for the entire time they were there....a whole 12 hrs. I would never use these people again. Worst customer service, worst movers, terrible customer service. ***EDIT*** Yeah thanks for your message. I shouldn't have to contact you. Good customer service would reach out to me. You have all my information. Pathetic company.

Our air conditioner broke down on the day of our move and they still championed away and got everything out even though it was 82 degrees Fahrenheit in our home. They wrapped all our furniture pieces and when they were dropped off at our new home nothing was damaged. Theresa who answered many of our calls in the office was great and a pleasure to speak to. Quick, efficient and timely. Moved from Kitchener to Guelph - had the movers pack up majority of our big stuff and even unassemble and assemble the furniture as needed. Done quickly and faster than we expected (would have taken us longer to assemble the furniture)! Price was reasonable, worth every penny from our point of view. Saved the headache of moving a lot of big items and movers took care of packing everything properly (wrapped items properly, didn't leave any damage moving in or out, etc).

I have used Two Men and a Truck Barrie twice now, and both experiences were fantastic. The first time was a New Years Day move from a 4 bedroom townhouse to a 3 story condo. They came in under the estimate, set everything up and were great. The second time, this past week, was also excellent. We had Steve, Liam and Jesse. These guys literally RAN, I kept telling them I had no idea where they got their energy from. They again came in under the estimate. I was so stressed out with my move, the house buying process etc. and by the time move day came around, I was exhausted. It was so great to have these guys come in and just take care of things - huge peace of mind. They helped me move furniture around too so it was where I wanted it before they left. Excellent all around, I would highly recommend them.

DISAPOINTED AND UPSET! (Movers were from the Cambridge Location) WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! After some research and reading review, I decided to go with this moving company. Oh my goodness!! The movers were indeed very nice however, ask I unpacked over the months, I had been coming across so many damages to my thing. They were young men that moved my things. Not impressed. Before they left, all the boxes looked okay but two which they crushed as they didn't load my things in properly. Treating my things with respect - they seemed like they were, different story when you go to unpack and you see all the damages. And you sign a paper before they leave stating that everything was okay. As it only seemed like two of my moving boxes were crushed. With everything I had, they shouldn't have taken the 9 hours to move it. It should have only taken half the time! I'm very upset and disappointed with this company. I definitely know between my friends and I, we could do a much better job of moving. Thought that I would use a moving company to do my long move as it seemed like it would be easier and we would be able relax. Hell NO!! Just damages upon damages and I can't even go after them to pay for the damages as the contract you sign at the end states that you cannot after you sign it. So, I have learned you do not trust movers with anything. I'm just happy all my crystal ware and fine dining ware were not part of the move. I would have destroyed them as they are all antique and passed down through generations! Those are irreplaceable! I conclude - never trust a moving company that sends young inexperienced men to move your things as it WILL BE damaged and broken. It would only bring disappointment and leave you upset as you can not ask for them to compensate for the damages later on when you notice. There's no point in calling their customer service for any resolution as well.

We hired Two Men and a Truck to move our home in October, a cool rainy windy day, and we got 2 trucks and 6 men (as per our prearranged quote) who were upbeat, polite, professional, and ready and willing to work. Our quoted time came in just a little under what it actually took, so we were really impressed that our quote was pretty close to what we actually paid for their amazing services. We don’t know how we would have done it without them! They knew exactly what they were doing, handled our belongings as if they were their own and couldn’t have been nicer. Unfortunately this route seems to be the only way to get any kind of response from this company. I have sent 5 emails (2 to the person who quoted us and specifically said to contact him if we had any issues and 3 to customer service all with no response). We had an in-home quote done estimating 5 hours for a move, which I thought was high since it was minimal amount of items. I expressed this and they said it would likely not take as long and we discussed how we would be reimbursed if it was under the time. The move ended up taking 7.5 hours (again I point out it was a minimal amount of items). It would have taken at least another hour if they had to reassemble our 2 beds and unwrap everything but we asked them just to stop and did it ourselves. The two extra hours where literally wasted time. One hour was spent trying to move a bookshelf that was specifically discussed during the in-home quote. It ended up being left at the old house because the movers couldn't get it out confidently (and I wasn't confident in their ability either). This resulted in a loss of $400 as we had someone ready to pick it up a that evening. We got charged for this hour and the piece was never even moved out. We knew how this item case in and were very specific about what needed to be done but they spent time trying it their ways, obviously with no luck. Another hour was spent on moving a large sofa from the top level of the house. My husband ended up having to assist because they had already spent a long amount of time and appeared to be stuck in the stairway. They were also damaging walls literally each step of the way. The damage was deeper than a paint touch up and I provided photos in my 5 unanswered emails. The 2 movers were apologetic about the extra time, the damage and the fact that they count get the bookcase out and offered a half hour discount, but that is not enough to cover the issues. This move ended up costing us far more than expected (2 extra wasted hours, damage on our old home that we had to repair and a loss of $400 because we couldn't sell the bookcase that they couldn't get out of the house). And to make matters worse, we are just being ignored. We expected an in-home quote would help us keep the estimate pretty accurate (and we discussed the bookcase specifically during). We are pretty stunned we had to pay for the extra time when one item wasn't even moved and another needed help from us to move. We hired professionals to avoid this. To be frank, I would never recommend this company and hope no others have an experience like ours.

Be prepared, you will receive a worse-case scenario quote, and my job came in well under the estimate as I had imagined. The sofa-bed that had been misidentified by the office as a futon (for the second time), was a several hundred pound piece of junk gifted me by the previous tenant without consent, that I request moved out to the street before loading in. The guys didn't blink though, and I had a chuckle.

I chose Two Men and Truck over less expensive quotes hoping for a stress free experience. It was not. The driver was late, belligerent, and rude- going so far as to threaten to not complete our move even though we had paid a substantial deposit. We were told a time window of between 8-9, which was not met nor did they seem to have any intention of meeting it. The driver indicated he does not even arrive to work until 8:30 and then has to prepare the truck. He also indicated he had no intention of coming initially because I had missed his call and taken 10 minutes to call the office back. Again, when I pay a deposit I expect the service to show up, whether or not I can promptly answer my phone at work. The driver did make some attempt to apologize to my husband after the move, but overall this poor quality of service was not worth the money.

They helped me take apart and put back together my bed, they protected my antique dining table, and they did it all with gusto. I have not commented until now, three years later. I trust that things have improved, and that it was an “off” day for this Company. It was barely okay. We had many broken items, and also missing articles. To be fair, they came back to our new home and repaired walls and repainted. I was reimbursed for a broken item, but some smaller antiques never reappeared. One of the young men in the crew had never had any type of moving experience. It was apparently his first day on the job. An addition in response to your comment on my review. I am glad that you now have such a high referral rating, and that things have improved. We all want a positive moving experience. I rate you not out of any long term bad feeling, but you might remember that we had an large fan that was broken, and you later found the pieces hidden in a back room. Yes, you did send away for the missing pieces to repair this expensive item, and you were honest about the actions of your employees. For this, I am quite willing to say, that I am happy that things seem to have turned around for you, and I wish you a continued, successful business. I would not hesitate to tell friends to give your company a try. I respect your attitude and willingness to be completely honest about how my move went so wrong.

Very very very disappointing! Not recommended at all!! They were very prompt when they came and gave us the quote. Unfortunately the quote didn't really work as expected, as they claimed that I had more boxes, absolutely nonsense as nothing has changed since the quote. My biggest issue wasn't the extra $400 that I paid. My issue is the guys who came smelled like weed, excessive breaks during which they came back smelling like weed again, and took them very long time to drive from pick up to drop off. (I'm talking close to an hour to drive 9.8km that i drove in 12 mins). The move ended up being 8 hours while i was quoted 4 - 6. If you cut the wasted time, slacking around and smoke breaks it won't exceed 5 to 6 hours max . Their head office mentioned that they are not supposed to charge me downtime and breaks (not what happened in my case). Moreover, every time we tell the movers please move this piece here or there they show very weird faces, as if its not their job and they are not paid for that service. They showed extreme carelessness while dealing with the furniture we had some scratches on the house walls and the furniture. I dealt with close to 5 moving companies in total, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND CENTENNIAL MOVING. I was tight on time and couldn't make it ends meet, but I guess i should have found a way :(

My long awaited and dreaded move went so so much better than I thought, due to the professionalism and hard working team that I was sent...I needed four guys and two trucks due to the size of my move and was truly not looking forward to what I thought would be a long nightmare of a day. My experience with Two Men and a Truck exceeded my expectations for my long distance move from Edmonton to Calgary. I was confined to moving into my apartment between 1-4PM due to condo regulations and elevator booking. Therefore, I was on a tight schedule to move in a single day. My movers showed up promptly at 08:00 (10 min early actually!), worked efficiently to load up my stuff and made delivery in Calgary on time. My move-in was completed without incident, within schedule and was free of any damage. My movers were polite and courteous and I was impressed with their work ethic. This company charges outrageously high hourly prices and the actual workers are paid well below industry standard wages. Workers have no professional certifications for packing training, proper piano relocation practices, or any training beyond what is learned in the field at the customers expense. This same location owns the Woodbridge location as well. Claims take months and often times low ball offers are made to frustrated and tired homeowners to go away. Be very careful. There are plenty of better options available... explore your options.

Worst in the city showed up over an hour late took 2 hours to move a couch out of the basement caused damage to walls that needed to be repaired in the house I just sold. Damaged our leather couch which they promised to have repaired it's been almost a year couch still not fixed and because their people couldn't figure out how to move a couch they tried to charge more than double the quoted price. This is unacceptable we wouldn't recommend to anyone and we will spread the word that these guys don't care about their customers. Oh and my couch had to go to storage because this mover couldn't get it into my new home.

We hired them to perform a same building move (moving furniture between offices and into basement storage. in prep for the move we put together a list of items that we would like moved first and after providing copies of the list as well as walking though it all with the crew they proceeded to completely disregard our wishes and moved the furniture in whatever order they pleased. While moving furniture from the 2nd floor offices down they decided to take the desks and credenzas off their hand trucks and slide them down the stairs with zero protection between the furniture and the stairs. This resulted in several desk tops receiving scratches/gouges across the entire top as well as corners of desks being damaged/chipped/raised up. Additionally, when they go the furniture to the basement they decided to stand them on end and drag them, unprotected, across a bare concrete floor - resulting in severe scratches to the sides of several desks and credenzas. Additionally, they managed to snag and tear a leather sofa as well as gouge drywall. After 6 weeks of back and forth they finally repaired some of the damage and paid a token amount to cover the remainder of the damage that they deemed unrepairable however none of this should have happened in the first place had their crew cared even a little. And to top it off, after the long back and forth to get to this point they had the nerve to ask if we would refer them to others needing moving services... TL;DR - if you just need things moved and don't care about the condition that they will be in once moved - use them. But if you care about your furniture and want to avoid weeks of post-move headaches - find someone else to do your move, I wish I had.

We moved a little over a month ago, and due to our last movers being unable to guarantee a time, we ended up having to find a new mover. We called these guys on short notice and they were able to accommodate. They two guys (Andres I believe, but didn't get the other guys name) showed up early, and finished early, and charged accordingly. We actually paid less than we were quoted! They were efficient and friendly and took care to move the furniture without damage. I would 100% recommend these guys.

We used Two Men and a Truck from the Burlington ON location. Upfront I will say that if you are using this franchise, you should know they have a 6 hour minimum for local moves. So, when you agree to an estimate, as they don't provide firm quotes, be mindful that its just an estimate. They are very detailed and list everything you are moving. In our case, the amount of furnishings was about 25% of a 28 foot moving van. A very small apartment sized move. The distance from outgoing property to new home was approximately 5km or 3 miles, so very short. In our case it was to move my mother in-law into a Retirement Centre in Hamilton/Ancaster ON. The Negative Criticism: Movers did not adhere to the Covid procedures of the facility by not wearing their PPE properly. They had to be asked to do so by the Director of the facility When I followed up with Barbara at the Burlington office she said the movers had rights and that the city by law says they can be exempt from wearing a mask while doing physical activity. Absolutely not! I checked with Hamilton by law and there is no provision that says movers are exempt from wearing masks. In fact its the by law office that issues the fines for these offences. The Health dept. create the rules! This was a retirement center, are you kidding me? In no way was this move a difficult chore there was absolutely nothing heavy that one person couldn't lift except one dresser, minimal physical activity During the payment phase of the move the lead hand pushed his mask under his chin at which point I could smell Hashish. I asked my wife who said she smelled pot breath on one of the other movers. I checked reviews for this franchise and discovered that we are not alone, other reviewers have said the same thing. Wonder what the Highway Traffic Act says about Driving a Commercial vehicle under the influence? Its a $2000 fine first offence! Make sure you understand that you are going to pay from the time they leave their place of business to when they return. Find the closest franchise you can. Do your research not all TMAAT franchises are the same or operated the same way. They are independently operated. This franchise changed our estimate from three men and a truck to two men and a truck and then back to three men and a truck based on some deletions and a few additions which made no difference to the time to do the move. There ended up being a 3 hour layover that would have allowed two men to do the job and saved us $600 dollars that was wasted on this move! Positive Criticism: The workers did a good job of moving the furnishings they were polite and they didn't break anything. The actual time to do this small move was 1 hour to load and 1 hour to unload so efficiency is not at issue. The company agreed to send me a reimbursement for 1/2 hour due to the fact that the workers sat in the parking lot until they were allowed to go in but could have done their Covid screening prior to this which would save a half hour of my 86 year old mother in laws money. Cost for two hours of labor, travel time, and a 3 hour layover just under $1700 I'll let you the reader decide. The reason for 2 stars is for the actual hours the movers worked. Just added this in after thinking it through. We did this move on the Hamilton Mountain. TMAAT sent their team from the Burlington office (same owner) instead of Hamilton office? The lead man said it took them an hour to get from Burlington to our location on the mountain. They apparently left at 9 am and arrived at 10 am. The meter was running! At a cost of $205 an hour that's a hefty fee The actual time for that drive is 19 minutes so I guess they meandered through Hamilton instead of using the 403? You know, I hate writing bad reviews I prefer glorifying people when they do good work and are really professional This move was for a senior going into a senior retirement center during the worst pandemic we've seen since the Spanish flu. On the phone and in emails this company showed a professional attitude but where it really mattered was out on the playing field.

Moving during Covid is more stressful than usual and this company was amazing. I have never used professional movers and Erna was always calm and reassuring, understood my budget issues and walked me through details when I booked. The movers handled my electric piano, artwork and rather rickety furniture with care. They were extremely personable, saw how stressed I was and went above and beyond to make this musician’s move as painless as possible! They had to start a little late, but ended up billing me for the estimate rate which greatly helped me out in this time. I didn’t have much for a tip so added in some of my CD’s and even made a new fan! If I need to move again I will definitely call Two Men and a Truck.

I had heard about the quality of TWO MEN and a TRUCK (TMAAT). My previous move was not as smooth and hence thought to inquire with TMAAT. I found their quote not that pricey as compared to self move i.e. UHAUL and mover or other movers i inquired with. This was a pleasant shock for me as i was told they are at bit expensive. However the quote was reasonable. On day of move i was very nervous, but the Movers for my job were extremely professional, on time. quick, polite and helpful. They kept me in loop of the journey and stop if needed and while unloading also they were very professional. It was the day of heat wave and it was scorching hot but they kept going. I am extremely impressed and felt the money paid was highly value for money. BTW i did not even move any item with them as I have a back issue. Thanks again to the team. We had a good experience with 2 Men & a Truck in Barrie, so we decided to use them again in our move to Mississuaga. The Brampton crew was not good. They damaged our new leather couch (dropped it and bent the frame), and took a corner off one of our bookcases. The men shrugged and said not to worry about it because it's insured. I contacted the office multiple times about the insurance claim, they said someone would come out to assess the damage but they never did. No care about other people's property.

Agreeing to move our furniture they have only moved 20 to maybe 30 bucks worth of stuff and saying our stuff was too unsanitary to budge, talking about the stuff behind the furniture where we are unable to reach and lift, they wanted to charge us more to clean behind the furniture we cannot budge, some of the easier things aren't even moved including a pet cage that was asked to clean and still did not move and I needed it for 8 hours for my pet, and caused a family member to have a panic attack,this should be refunded as they wasted a lot of our time.

They boast about an insurance policy and delivery of items in a careful manner - they are the worst movers I have ever had. They damaged a costly item, refused to repair it completely and left it here with dirty fingerprints all over it. Their workers don’t care about quality of service and their staff are negligent. Avoid them at all costs.

Tried to book their services. Set an appointment time for them to call me at 10:45 am. I am extremely busy in my line of work so I booked a 45 min time slot to take off work so I can do business with them. 11:15 rolls around and still no call, I tried reaching them directly and there was no answer. 2:30pm I get the call from them. No apology for being late with their call. Told them I'll pass and work with someone who respects others time. DO NOT RECOMMEND

My moving experience with two men and a truck was excellent from start to finish. I was greeted by Nancy on the phone. She was very professional, warm and informative. She took the time to explain the process in full so I felt confident going into the move. Eric and Mike were my movers. They arrived on time and were very efficient. They spoke directly with the building front desk staff to ensure all the building logistics were taken care of and then got straight to work! They were efficient, prepared my furniture to ensure no scratches, cleaned up after themselves and even helped us disassemble cumbersome ikea furniture. Moving is incredibly stressful. Eric and Mike made sure I had nothing to worry about and were really fun to work with. They also returned to the front desk staff to close out the elevator booking so I didn't have to. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your future move - great experience front to back!

Customer service told me they'd get back to me on some issues in a few days, a month and a half and several emails later and still no reply. Tried again. Would adjust rating if they got back to me but that's fairly ridiculous customer service Edit: they claim in response they did not get my email, though they emailed me back promising to get back to me in a few days, I've emailed six times since, they ignored me so I finally called the day of my review, promised they'd call me before close. They didn't so I called back. They said they'll get back to me (again) and accused of me of not providing the proper information. I'd remove review if they actually answer me and stop accusing me and calling me out here

Asked to be reached through their website and received a reply within the day. I can now see why so many choose Two Men and a Truck as their response time is quite remarkable. Wil most likely be choosing them for a move at the end of August. They also provided a checklist of items so that the best possible quote can be ascertained. As a former mover myself, I can appreciate this effort.

This was my second experience in contracting with a moving company. We were fortunate to have had a great experience with this company 5 months earlier so we did not hesitate to contact them again for this move. I can't thank them enough for everything they did for us: arranged to move the moving date up by a week, found personnel who agreed to undergo a rapid Covid-19 test in order to enter the Retirement home and who were also personable and respectful of the items being moved. Negative remarks➖❌➖❌➖❌ 2 men and a woman(seems too nice but kept the men busy by talking nonsense & did nothing) came for moving. They took more time then expected. Chatting & smoking after every half an hour. Broke the side of a bunkbed, chipped off the cupboard, burnt the dining chair cover by cigarettes, missed putting the bed rails & chipped off the walls of basement. Charged us with 2100$, no communication, nothing. Not receiving any calls and not responding to the emails. PURE FRAUDS!!
