What a great way to move!! It is priced very nicely, you fill it and they will store it for you, bring it to your new place, and pick it up!! Only thing missing is movers, but for the money this was a great way to do a move and I would use them again in the future!!

Used the service to store items during our renovation. Completion date shifted by 5 months but wasn't an issue for the container. The container was clean and easy to load. Drivers were great and showed us the best way to use the container. Couldn't believe how fast we got it loaded and unloaded. No issues with damage to any of our possessions. I’ve been lied to consistently about the time of pickup and delivery of my POD. Reaching out to Customer service was a absolute nightmare. I’ve been hung up on before the call even starts a number of times, the hold times are ridiculous and a number of the reps I’ve spoken with were rude or unhelpful in any manner. I’ve even had reps fail to schedule my delivery date when they told me it was set. This caused weeks of delays the two times it was done! I’ve also been expecting a call from supervisors and Customer Advocacy Specialists but I’ve always been told they would get back to me within 72 hours we’ll it’s been about a month now. I’ve called, emailed and left messages just to get some sort of resolution to my case but still no one calls back at this company. Also the POD was so humid a number of the items within it were damaged or had mold on them. Does PODs care though? Absolutely not!! I can’t even get their ‘customer advocate’ to call or email me in over a month. Still waiting on that by the way! I’m not even being a Karen here. I only let my expectations be guided by what I was told by PODs reps.

As I read more and more reviews I feel like my experience is not a normal one. I have relocated from the US to southern Onatrio. I am extremely frustrated to say the least. The process that I was told was going to happen when we got the quote and proceeded to move forward with is the furthest thing from what has happened. I crossed the border into Canada with my family June 1 and it is now Sep. 14th and have yet to even know when I am going to get my household goods. the last time my wife called she had the call on speaker and I heard the rep directly insult my wife over the phone, I took the phone out of my wife's hand and asked for the name of the rep and he told me a completely different name that he had told my wife. In a world that is enduring such trying times, customer service is key. I really hope this company doesn't accept this kind of behavior. I have asked for a supervisor to talk to about this on the customer line and every rep has the audacity to ask me why? I also ask for information and the only response is they will email you? How can we track a $5 sandwich on a phone but not one person can give me a straight answer on a container? this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any company.............

They have charged me more on credit cards since i have been calling yhem. They have ur crddit card they charge u on that and when u ask to do evaluation they dont have time. Since jube and its mid august they cannot go over my profile. Plz make sure that u get in writing about all the charges of pick up and drop off before u book them as later on u cannot get anything back. The email they send u for co firmation doesnot have price details so make sire that they dont rip u off

I called PODS to get a quote for an interprovincial move within Canada and they quoted me about 3800$ for a 1 junior bedroom. When I inquired about the breakdown of the price given that I had called 5 other companies who had all quoted about 2000$, the agent Diego told me he had no details and that the price was competitive. After further inquiry because this was not an acceptable answer (he gave no details and simply gave a "it is what it is" answer) Diego the agent then proceeded to hang up on me. It's unfortunate that the customer service at PODS is so terrible. Customers have the right to ask question to understand the price behind a particular service. That's just basic customer experience 101. For that alone, I would not recommend. You can do better

Horrible horrible to navigate their booking process! Customer care phone process is absolutely painful and be prepared to stay on hold for between 15 -30 minutes to talk to someone in the US When you finally get to talk to someone be ready for 20 minutes of pain staking questions Then get get ready to be surveyed. I literally had to take a nap after dealing with these guys Absolutely draining!! The thought of calling them makes me cringe I’d rather be held down and kicked in the oysters than have to deal with this Brutal!!

The worst online booking system ever, and the call centre was a joke. I was on hold for an hour, and gave up, hoping, PRAYING, a container would arrive the next day. The local delivery driver saved the situation, thanks Todd! Unfortunately the nightmare didn't end there. They have continued to bill my credit card every week since the move.

I've always wondered about PODS, but never needed them until recently. I was moving from a house with a large double garage to a house with a small single garage. We packed the garage into the POD and had it moved to the new house. We took our time setting up and organizing the garage so everything would fit and be easy to find. I had initially filled out a request for a quote online and was provided a cost. The information I provided did not change between requesting the quote and confirming the order, however the cost almost doubled once I was sent the order confirmation immediately after providing my credit card information. When I called the corporate customer account number, I was asked to answer security questions which at no point did I ever set up. I was also asked for my 4 digit PIN number which I also never defined and was set to '1234' which is ridiculous. The customer service rep I spoke to insisted that I had set the security questions and PIN number and refused to believe that I hadn't. I will never attempt to do business with PODS again.

[My Mother's Pod and not mine. Don't use this company unless you want to be scammed] Came to pick up the pod early in the morning Thursday 2 December 2021. Pod wasn't unloaded yet but was by the afternoon. Company refused to come back until Monday. Saw that there was snow and the driver just drove by without any attempt to contact the occupant. It took 2 minutes to clear since it was soft slush. Now they refuse to come back until Thursday again. Laziest incompetent business I've ever seen. People should be ashamed to even work there. Personally since it's my lease and they don't have an agreement with me I want to call the cops and have them fined for trespassing because the Pod is blocking my car in. Won't do that yet —due to my mother asking me not to— but if it's not gone Thursday I'm calling the city for Trespassing. After that I'm taking my grinder, boltcutters, and crowbar to the Pod and taking it apart. ***Then even their laziest driver will be able to pick it up and take it away.*** In my opinion this company scammed my senior mother and took advantage of her to steal money from her. If it isn't gone by Thursday and they don't refund her the month there will be consequences.

Pods and specifically the Baton Rouge location went above and beyond for me. I cannot day enough nice things. From the ladies in the office (Nancy and Teresa), to the driver (Ryan) dropping off to my house, then picking up from my house and another driver delivering to my new house and picking up from there. They were all nice, helpful and professional. I even had good encounters with the assistance from the 800 number which in my experience is rare. Easy process, great customer service and great experience. I moved 2hr45mins away. Between Scugog and Niagara in Ontario. No storage use , my pod went from one house to the other. Everything went on schedule. I recommend this service. Traditional movers quoted double the price, albeit they do help you move the stuff. With pod you move you or you hire help, enlist friends and go at your own pace...spring for the padlock too. Cheers!

Horrible customer service! I was transferred back into the customer service holding queue while I was talking. The second representative refused to transfer me to a supervisor and continued talking over me as I continued to say "May I speak to a supervisor or manager, please." The rep continued to talk over me stating she needed to help me...when I didn't stop requesting a manager she placed me on hold. The customer service supervisor I was finally connected with completely contradicted the terms of my contract I confirmed with representatives on two separate occasions. Don't let PODS steal from you. Go elsewhere!

I have used PODS for a number of years in my work with Shakespeare in the Ruins. We run performances during the month of June, and being presented in a Provincial Park, we need a secure space to store all of the equipment, set pieces and props for the shows. Dealing with the team at PODS has always proven to be positive experience. They have been prompt responding to inquiries, and have helped me to navigate the corporate website to find the information I need. When the units arrive on-site, I confirm the placement of the PODS, and the driver takes care of the rest. They always arrive clean and in good condition.

This is a company that has no right to deal with the public and should be shut down. They did not pick it up on moving day, so I had to unload it and move all the pre packed stuff on a farm trailer. Furthermore my bank called them to dispute the charges. Get this…. they had agreed to refund my money while on the phone with my bank. Not only did they not... they then added another payment on my credit card for picking up the pod I never used!!!!!

Pods would not deliver the container to my house. Had I known that fact I would’ve used a different company. I had to rent a Uhaul van to complete the job the Pods couldn’t! Some of the associates were not helpful causing delay I final delivery. Next time I’ll use Uhaul. For the price I’ve paid I’m very disappointed.

The experience to get a POD moved two blocks and then moved off my property has been a nightmare. I wish that I could say really nice things about my experience, because I love the concept. Here's a chronicle of what happened. 1/2015 - Load POD AND have it moved to a place behind my business for storage. Have paid $184/month between January and November to have the ability to store my stuff behind my office while my house was on the market. That's over $1800 for ten months. 11/3 - Called to have a move scheduled for my POD going two blocks. I was planning to have an estate sale on 11/7. Asked for 11/4 early arrival since my movers were scheduled for 11/5 at 10 am. Agent said he could not guarantee early arrival, however he would call the local provider and call me back within one hour. He never called back. 11/5- No move happened. I called at the end of the day when I realized the move didn't happen. The person who answered my call said that she 'understands' that I had wanted the POD moved, however there was no room available on the schedule and the best she could do was Saturday, which was not going to work for an estate sale. I asked for a supervisor. She transferred me to another agent who was not a supervisor and didn't tell him any information, I explained my situation again. I asked for a supervisor. He transferred me to one. 11/5 - Supervisor talked to the local center and guaranteed arrival and move on 11/6 between 8 and 10 am. She informed me that someone would have to review the call and let me know if I was liable for the 'rush' fee, I would have to pay it. If I was not, the call center would have to pay it, I knew that I was not liable, however being on the hook for the 'rush' fee just in case they didn't agree was a bit offputting. I then had to reschedule my movers to come later in the day. They were scheduled at 8:00 am, but they went to another job instead, which means they would arrive around 11. 11/6 - Call Resolution Team agent called to let me know he had reviewed the call and that the fault for not having had the POD moved was the agent, not mine and he would not charge me the 'rush' fee to have it moved Friday morning early. He apologized for the inconvenience and said that he would call back on Monday 11/9. Meanwhile the driver called early in the morning saying that the earliest they would arrive would be between 11-11:30, not by 10 which was guaranteed to me the evening before by the supervisor. 11/6 10:30 - Driver shows up not at the guaranteed time between 8 and 10, but 10:30. Movers show up at 1 because they had to reschedule their move time when the driver told me he would not be there until 11:00 or 11:30 at the earliest. 11/9 - CRT agent had not called back by 1:30, so I call back to the call center to schedule the final removal and speak to the CRT Agent. The agent that answered reads the notes and give me a name and number of someone to field my call. I call that number and the person says, No, not sure why they gave you this number. You need to talk to someone in the CRT. I call back to the call center and a different agent asks me to hold on while she emails the CRT agent to see if he will take my call. While we're scheduling the move, she gets a response from the CRT agent that he will take my call. He says that he will take care of the 'rush' fee and the move, however anything beyond that would require documentation. For example, my invoice from my movers that they charged me. Bottom line, they did not charge me for the reschedule. Over the last week, I have spoken to 6 people representing PODS. Three reps, one supervisor, one person in the local PODs center, one person in the Call Resolution Team. I have spent over two hours trying to ensure that the POD was moved in time for an estate sale. I called 48 hours before the requested move and it did not happen. My estate sale did not happen. My movers had to adjust their schedule three times to accommodate PODS.

I liked that you can edit your pick up time and date through your own account. Also the emails and texts reminding that that pod will be coming. Lastly, it was nice to actually hear a real persons voice when the driver of the pod has arrived to let us know he is there. Timing was very accurate and did not take long at all to drop off and pick up the pod. The pod, was very clean, very easy to use and not too heavy to lift up and down the door. The customer service rep who helped me the first time was very knowledgeable, patient, and very friendly. Went over and beyond especially when I asked about the permits for the street, as she said she would take care of it for us, also when I called the second time just to confirm that all my changes I made on my profile actually changed the lady was very respectful, patient and upbeat. Top notch service on all ends, definitely told about 12 people at work to get a pod instead of a uhaul.

Great option for when you have to stage your home for sale. Service was good, drivers were A1, and having the pod was incredibly convenient. My only "negative" is don't be surprised - it's pricey. Not that it's not worth it, but it's pricey.

We have been totally impressed by PODS. They were always on time, they delivered great value, and every person at PODS that we connected with through our move was sensational. The best advice we got was to hire someone to pack the PODS, and we used the company they recommended. We moved an entire house of stuff across Canada, so not a small endeavor to say the least. There is no way we could have packed the PODS the way the pros did it and this saved us an entire POD. Having access to the PODS while in storage has been amazing. We are building a new home so are not ready to move everything to our final destination. The people at the storage center in Dartmouth are so incredibly helpful. The entire experience has been great. If I had to do it again, I would not hesitate to use PODS.

Put this company at the bottom of your moving list. They got the job done so there's that, but there were problems all along the way and the support staff, while amiable enough, are not equipped to solve any problems that the company itself creates. Upon delivery of the PODs at the beginning, the driver delivered both in my driveway blocking off my car even though there were instructions to put one of the PODs in the street in front of the house. I was without transportation for the week that the PODs were there. There was no resolution. I called and reported it and no one did anything. It was just my problem to deal with. The day the Pods were to get to their destination, the delivery driver informs me that he wouldn't be able to deliver both Pods because the driveway wasn't big enough and they're not allowed to leave a Pod in the street in this neighborhood. I asked that he just switch the Pods out since he was delivering them separately anyway because we could have the first Pod emptied by the time he got back. Apparently, this, too, was impossible. We had the second Pod delivered about a week later, after our friends that were there to help us move in had already gone back to another state. So we had to pay for movers to get the second Pod emptied. I called the customer service number and was told that they'd put in a complaint and a request for a partial refund. I never heard back about it at all. Save yourself the hassle and go with any other company.

WARNING STAY AWAY FROM PODS!! I am a senior citizen with a very bad experience with this company and I am writing this to warn people about dealing with the PODS Moving and Storage company. They have extremely poor customer relations, flawed software and borderline illegal billing practices. There are other competitors out there and I encourage people to avoid PODS and find an alternative. There are many other horror stories listed on BBB.org. Read them and stay away. They have a 1/5 star rating at BBB. That speaks volumes. For a company that claims to be international, their systems and practices are very flawed and customer relations is poor at best. I received several quotes from this company which seemed ok to me but the devil is in the fine print as they say. After accepting a quote from them they delivered two PODS to my home in NC. I loaded them and had them picked up a few days later. Their policy is that if you are moving from the US to Canada you must precede the PODS into the country so I rushed to get into Canada as quickly as possible. I was driving so it took a few days. At this point I have not heard anything from PODS other than to give them the Customs paperwork. Once I was in Canada and under Covid quarantine they decided then that there was a problem with the quote and it was going to cost roughly $6000 extra!!! Unbelievable. They had me over a barrel because literally my entire household was in their hands and there was NOTHING I could do about it. After finally receiving the PODS and removing my belongings I arranged for pickup. Then, a few weeks later I start seeing charges appear on my cc from PODS. Some were debits and some were credits. I didn't authorize any of these but I found out later that they were charging me for a month's rent on two PODS that were sitting in their own lot. Amazing. Looking at my cc it looks like a child was in charge of the billing because it made no sense and invoices changed almost daily in my account. They seemed to be billing me and crediting me random amounts which they NEVER communicated to me. It's just not right to take liberties with someone's cc, especially senior citizens living on pension incomes. There are better companies out there that can do a much better job. I would caution anyone against using PODS.

When we moved in the spring, we rented a #PODS to store our belongings. The delivery of the POD, the packing, and the pickup went well. Since then, it has been a nightmare. I tried to make the monthly payment on July 22. I had to change the payment method and kept getting an error message. I contacted PODS through the chat and was told I had to call in and speak with someone. When I called, it was a 30+-minute wait, and I was given the option to have them call me back by holding my place in line. I choose this option. When they called, I answered, but no one responded, and they hung up on me. I then sent an email and was told that something was wrong with my card or that the bank was at fault. After contacting my bank, it was determined that there was nothing wrong with the card or their system. After exchanging emails for a week, customer service admitted there was a problem in their online system, and customers could not add new payment methods. So the problem was with them and not what they initially blamed. The last correspondence received from customer service was on August 8, asking me for a time for them to call and get the new payment method. I responded with a specific time. It has been about a week. I never received a call from them, nor have I heard anything from them. After dealing with this for over three weeks, I called them and was on hold for over 45 minutes. I explained my situation to the person and was told I had to talk to billing and was placed on hold again. After being on hold for over an hour, I talked to someone who told me she could not process my payment. She had tried three other customers and all failed. She could not even process a credit to the account. I did manage to get the POD scheduled for delivery. It was amazing that after the POD was scheduled for delivery, they were suddenly able to process a payment. Everything about this company is horrible, not user-friendly, and has no customer service. Use them at your own risk. You have been warned! You are free to do as you please. However, I am warning you that the customer service and ability to contact them are horrible. After my first positive use of their services I utilized their services again for storage and moving. I was renting a POD for a period of about 3 years and a year before I finished with their services I had my POD moved from one City to another. I was advised both when I started using their services and at the time I was arranging the moving that my month to month rental would remain the same but I would be responsible for the costs associated with the moving of the pod (perfectly reasonable and reasonably priced). However when they moved the POD, besides the transportation costs they increased my month to month rental by $68CAD. When brought up and discussed they did a review and determined that yes they made a mistake and would reimburse me the overages I had paid. This took 4 months of constant calling for them to reach this. In late Oct 2020 they paid a reimbursement up to Sept 2020. During this time I had another payment taken for Oct at the wrong billing price and when talking to them (this took another month and a half) they stated that they would not adjust the billing but rather every 6 months until the end of my contract, they would revisit this and reimburse the over-payments. In March 2021 (the 6th month payment) I reached out for the purposes of settling out this. I heard nothing for 6 weeks and after several messages I finally received a response saying they were working on it. April 29 my pod was emptied and they had still not resolved this. Mid May 2021 I received a message in which they indicated that they calculated a reimbursement from Nov to April missing the over payment in October. I pointed this out and have not heard from them regarding this for 2 weeks now. We are in June of 2021 and I have still not heard anything nor have they resolved this. They take multiple months to resolve issues and do not respond to you even to let you know they are working on anything even after multiple messages. This is a real shame as my first use of their services from 2013-2016 was a very positive experience and now there is an extreme lack of customer service. They also are no longer competitive to local like service providers for the same if not bigger containers.

After going into my account they made on their site, I finally found a link to what the bill would be and it was double. The containers are safe and practical for storage. The system used to bring and pick up the containers is very interesting and safe BUT NEGATIVE POINTS : 1) the material, specially plastic containers and wrapped items (with cello) in the containers came back with soot. 2) They continue to charge on my credit card (double charge) the last payment but corrected the situation when I have called them SO MAKE SURE YOU VERIFY ALL PAYMENTS CHARGED TO YOUR ACCOUNT 3) THEY HAVE DAMAGED our front entrance pavement (asphalt) when they pick up the last container and despite the numerous phone calls, pictures sent, PODS’s inspector who came to verify and demand letter no action was intended. We are waiting since more than 2 months.

My PODS experience has been quite positive so far. The booking agent on the phone was knowledgeable and easy to deal with. The scheduled delivery time was accurate and the driver (Lana) was pleasant and also very easy to deal with. Pickup was punctual and hassle free. I’ve had this POD for over three years and I’m ready to have it picked up and it’s only a week into the billing cycle. I was told by one agent if I schedule a pickup before the middle of the billing cycle my bill would be prorated, but then another agent told me I had to pay for the whole month regardless. So I paid for the whole month but was then told I had to pay an additional $75.00 for the pickup or they won’t pick it up. They need to come get this POD out of my yard!

Initial delivery, following the delivery and pickup schedule, re-delivery are excellent. The drivers are friendly. PODs really helped my moving with low cost compare to other services. The reason why I did not give 5 stars is, their invoice system need improvement. There should be a reminder or prior notice, before taking the money from the card (while container is at their place) with explanation. Also, PODs charged me $500+ mistakenly and then credited the amount after realizing. However, I had to wait 14 days to get the credited refund to my credit card and I had to call them twice to get the money back.

Nothing can actually be dealt with directly at the office...everything is facilitated through Florida including the admitted archaic accounting programming that is used. The POD was picked up and dropped off on time with lots of follow-up and notifications of pending arrival. The drivers were super nice guys and went out of their way not to damage any trees/grass/etc while maneuvering the pod. Overall a fantastic experience with the only issue being that there was a leak in the pod by one of the support beams which caused one couch to suck up a lot of water (from rain falls during the month the pod sat in the laneway). I could have helped avoid the problem myself if I had plastic on everything of value. After reporting it though, the driver assured me the pod would be taken out of service until it was properly water-proofed again. Bottom line: I would use PODS again in a heart beat for my moving needs.

Customer service claims there’s nothing they can do to help, will be charging me hundreds of dollars more and making me wait an extra month to get my belongings. Unless you are a big corporation they don’t care, stay far away from PODS. Also be prepared to wait for hours on the phone to reach customer service, I think four hours was my longest wait time, only to be told they can’t do anything for you. You’re better off having a big bonfire with all of your belongings than shipping with PODS, cheaper and more enjoyable.

What a nightmare! I had my first POD experience in 2019- it was a good experience overall. We were not pressured with any deadlines so all was smooth sailing. I decided to use them again instead of renting a storage unit. What a terrible decision that was. Delivery to my home went great. When I found out my closing date I scheduled to have it moved. In the request I let them know what time my movers would be there since you cannot select your service window time. This was completely disregarded. Service window wasn't given to me until the evening before closing day. Of course I ended up being the first pick up for that window and refused pickup. I called back to have it rescheduled and they said it would be 3 days. Mind you I was closing on my house that day- after that I no longer have possession of the property. Technically speaking, the new owners did not have to let them on the property. After about an hour of back and forth they finally agreed to pick up the next morning. A month and a half later I needed it delivered to my apartment. My apartment would only allow me to have it on the property for 24hrs. I tentatively had my movers scheduled for 1pm and made serval phone calls to POD letting them know the situation and that I needed to have the accommodated. They put in notes but would not contact the local facility to let them know directly. I call back the day before and they tell me it looks like my time will be set between 8-12. The evening before I get the text they moved it to 12:45-3:45. Again, I call letting them know the situation the agents solution was to schedule the movers for the next day. Great- what's my window for pick up since I cannot exceed the 24 hrs. "Oh we won't be able to tell you that". So I reschedule my movers for 3:30. At 2:30 I called PODs for an update- there was none and again they refused to reach out to the local facility. At 3:25 I get a phone call from the driver stating he was just leaving to deliver and he would be at least an hour and 10 minutes. My POD was delivered over an hour late. I again had to put my movers on hold. My movers did not respond immediately so that this point I did not know if I would even have movers lined up anymore. I call customer service back and the agent files a claim of loss. She says someone would be reaching out- spoiler alert, it never happened. She puts in a request for the POD to be the last pick up of the next day just incase I had to reschedule movers for the next day. That evening I get a text- ESTIMATED TIME 9:30-12:30! REALLY?? They were there at 10am to pick it up. Best advice I can give, if you are even possibly working with a tight schedule- don't do it! Save yourself some cost and drama and just rent a storage unit. Speaking of cost, they've gone up $20 for delivery fee and $70 on POD rental cost from October 2019 to July 2021. Difficult to work with and certainly not worth the cost!

What was supposed to be an exciting time for them and their children has now turned into a living nightmare. Ryan, Devon and Cliff were a dream team for getting all our stuff safely and efficiently moved. Ryan fit it all into their largest truck like a Tetris champ! We did need an additional run from Edmonton and Beaumont for our lawn furniture, but were only charged for the drive to our location and back from our new location, not for the extra trip. Extremely reasonably priced for sure! I was impressed with my initial conversation with Brad (and with all other conversations) finding them to be honest, sincere, professional, and friendly. They looked after our belongings like they were their own. Professional crew that have chosen this as their career, and it shows! It was great to hear the crew comment, "No problem", when I had to change where I thought a box needed to be! I do not and will not recommend PODs to anyone. The company charges before work is done and may or may not deliver on that service in a timely manner. Their communication to the customer about any issues that may arise is lack thereof. However, they will charge your credit card for payments. Really terrible experience with this company. We moved cross country from Ontario. Our pod was supposed to be delivered a week ago and was not. It was initially delayed because of weather then rescheduled four times without informing us, and still no pod. Customer service is terrible, a call center in Florida with minimal interest in helping. No one returns phone calls and the people working there are rude. At this point they have The pod and have no date when they will deliver it, the lady I spoke to said ‘maybe this week, maybe next, not really sure.. ´. It’s basically everything we own and they are holding it hostage. Don’t use this company, if you have a pod in your driveway empty it and go with another moving company. Seriously.

Well let's start with the quote for 5300.00 that has so far escalated to 7000.00. To not being able to reschedule a drop because my pod was " in triage". Due to a technical glitch on thier end. To verifying every step of the way that delivering to my new location would be "no problem" to then being charged 300.00 for the out of service area drop. To the day of drop, calling to find out a time, only to be told pod was over weight and not deliverable. To hiring movers a uhaul and 80.00 gas to have 1200 pounds taken off the pod, so it could be delivered. To random charges of 70.32 to .03 cents being charged to my credit card AFTER the pod was picked up. To calling EVERY week for 3 weeks to recieve a refund, only to be told EVERY time 3-5 days for a response. Would I recommend this company to my worst enemy??? Not even then.

We were renovating a house and needed short term storage for furnishings and personal belongings. Clean and safe storage was a major concern and timing for delivery and pick up was critical. Pleased to say the POD arrived spotless clean and we endured a couple heavy rainfall during its use and everything remained clean and dry. Pods will attempt to get an extra month from you. No matter when you cancel service they won't pick up until they can bill for the next month. Customer service are experts at the run around, and passing you around. I was told they would refund the last month, then that it was under review and the last time they would email the local office to get an answer. You can't speak to the local office and they have final say whether you receive a refund for an overcharged month. Stay clear of this company. They are out to get all the money they can from you

Pods were great for our cross state move with 3 months interval between selling our house and renting one in a new state. The delivery drivers were professional and friendly. They all genuinely seemed to like their jobs and were careful with tree branches. My kids loved to watch the podzilla machine. One note- we moved in a busy time and even though I called 3 weeks early to schedule final Pod delivery, the delivery guys were all booked up. We luckily had some friends loan us nuggets for the kids to sleep on for the 4 days we were without furniture. It all worked out and the Pods were in good condition.

so i had this PODS dropped off at front of my house, parking on street this morning. peace office showed up asking for permit an hour later. and they checked PODS company, the company does not have a off-loading permit to legally off load the PODS.................... nor i was informed to obtain a street use permit if i need to have it there for few days, until the drive pulled off. customer service line wait time is 50 mins, and i'm still waiting for a response.

PODS does not need to charge as much as they do. They take forever to do anything. Just know before you use their service, they will take a week for every request and you will be paying for that week. I phoned three times to speak about the charges and every time they promised to call me back but never actually did. Luckily I was smart enough to remove all contents before the rollover date and cancelled my credit card so they wouldn't have an opportunity to take a double payment again. They still have a automated recording calling me alerting me my card was declined. Terrible overall experience.

Would not recommend this company for local removals and I advise to never use them for storage of your goods. Very unprofessional and if you need to go to your storage unit you have to call someone in Florida to set up an appointment here in Winnipeg to get some contract business to open your storage unit! This company is terrible, they told us pod was 19 feet long, the longest they carry is 15. They dropped off pod with no lock then asked us to come pick it up instead of them dropping it off. For directions to their facility we were told to drive down Blair and will see a bunch of pods. All the pause or behind a massive building and there are no signs for the company out front. It's impossible to see the pods or the companies even in the building. Not recommend for anyone looking for a convenient move.

Completely unimpressed. At no point in the booking process was it made clear that our now delivered and full container could not be picked up within 15 (!!) days of drop off. For a company that touts convenience and encourages use of the web booking frankly ridiculous to not state that p/u could be that far out. This from the site is incredibly vague "As dates are subject to availability, we recommend scheduling your container deliveries, pick-ups, and moves as soon as possible -- at least 7 days in advance." Telephone rep said she could do nothing and even said the local affiliate "isn't picking up the phone".

I wish I could give 0 stars. PODS cancelled my storage delivery 12 hours before move out, stating that my driveway was not wide enough based on an Google maps view. However, I ensured it was the 12’ wide at time of booking. The customer rep was beyond rude and showed 0 remorse or care to help me. Leaving me with next to no time to scramble and find a storage unit and truck. I have sent two emails to their customer service and have yet to receive a response. Our POD experience was terrific! Arrived on time, parked easily in driveway. We were afforded the opportunity to fill and pack our pod at our leisure. No need to move our pod as it was used while our floors were being resanded. We put some furniture (light items) bedroom sets etc in basement. Used the pod for heavy appliances which would have proved a chore to haul downstairs. Once floors were dried we had the ease of unloading furniture and appliances on our time frame of several days not A day.

The forklift went thru the POD and it tipped over. At least 5000 dollars damage. Came to pick up contents in Calgary and the POD was ready and accessible as promised even though the office was closed. I used a POD to stage my house when it was for sale, and moved the POD to my new new house when it was full. I could've left it in my driveway and saved myself the extra charge, but didn't want it there for viewings. I was surprised however when I was charged for the final pickup as i thought the initial quote included delivery, rental for one month, and pick up of the empty container. It did not, though picking up the empty at the end of the rental is inevitable, so I had a surprise $90 charge. All in all, it cost me about $550, which while convenient, i could've rented a uhaul truck and moved out the stuff myself (since we loaded and unloaded the POD ourselves anyway). Good idea, but read the quote.

Very satisfied with the service recieved from PODS during our move to Quebec from Ontario. The container was clean and in good shape (door, latches and tie-downs). Delivery and pick-up, at every stage, was exactly as promised. Our goods and chattels arrived intact, except for one upholstered chair with fabric damage. - our fault since we did the packing. The actual transportation time between the two provinces was completely acceptable. There were no unpleasant confrontations with unscrupulous moving companies and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to pack and unpack our belongings at a pace which suited us. No plans to move again - ever, but PODS made what is often a nightmare experience into a fairly pleasurable one. We actually felt we were in control of our own belongings.

There is nothing easier or more economical than the PODS system of moving. We have used PODS twice for our business moves, involving very large, heavy and awkward equipment, but it goes amazingly well with this process. What is really special though is the service. Although it is a large, international company, the Calgary branch employees go far out of their way to be accommodating and efficient and really seem to care. We highly recommend them.

They are not 8'. If you were depending on that 8' you would be screwed. Also they delivered it right in the center of my driveway when specifically twice I indicated on the left of the driveway(I cant think of any scenario where someone would want the pod dead center of the driveway). Trying to purchase a truck they have for sale online, contacting Wayne on his number in the ad but when I was able to get ahold of him he was upset that I called him. I told him I wanted to buy the truck so why would you be frustrated so he told me I have a higher offer so I said I’d pay more and if you get anymore offers I can beat them. He said my offer was fine and he’d have to go through corporate about it. Received a text from him telling me that I most likely have the truck sold a corporate will take care of it so do not contact me anymore. Ok so who do I contact then. Called the only number I can find anywhere and they were also very unhelpful and that they could not give out any info on who I could talk to. This company should have unprofessional people like Wayne managing this. Hopefully someone could respond to this review with someone I could contact. Thanks for wasting my time Wayne.

We bought a house and had to wait to move in. We were going to use a full service mover but have problems with movers storing our items so I decided to use PODS instead. The PODS worked out great for storing and then having them shipped to our residence in another state. The PODS were delivered and picked up on the dates we requested and all employees that we came into contact with were helpful and professional. We packed the PODS ourselves and when we unloaded them everything was fine ( I used about a hundred tie downs ) . You can hire someone to pack and unload your POD if you choose to do so. After it was all said and done it was definitely less expensive than a full service mover would have charged us for the move. So between using the PODS and storage for two months it really saved us quite a bit. I was very pleased with the PODS people and would highly recommend them.

We had a POD for a month for storage and it was a perfect 5-star situation. I completed a survey but when it got to 99% it gave me an error message and I didn't want that excellent rating to be lost. PODS does not care about the customers it serves. They only care whether they get all of your money whether you still have the pod or not. They do not prorate and will keep a whole month of the rent even when the pod is picked up the day your month starts. Delivery and pickup fees are high. I dealt with someone called Kevin from PODS; he advanced the delivery date by one week due to THEIR own problems. I didn't need the previous extra week. 2 days before due date I called the cell of Kevin and someone tells me: "he does not work here anymore, call customer service". The only thing that stopped me from giving a 5-star was that I needed a delivery time of 3-6 P.M at my new condo because of my assigned elevator time and NO ONE told me they (including drivers) finished at 2 P.M. This caused a panic among my movers (family); luckily, the people who used the elevator before us finished early enough for us to use some of their time allotment. Now that I know about this time constraint, I would definitely use PODS again.

My Husband and I booked JP's Moving Services. Brad the owner of the company, was very excellent to deal with. His customer service was just amazing. The guys came into our 2bed/2bath condo and packed everything up properly and trust me we have a lot of fragile items (nothing was broken). The move went with out any issues. The guys showed up on time and moved all of our stuff without any damage being caused. Which was awesome. The price was excellent and was just as Brad had quoted us. We highly recommend Brad and his team to anyone that is moving and just wants a good experience and low stress. I would definitely hire JP's Moving when I move again.

Slightly over priced for storage. Do not use them to move more than across town. They lie when quoting moving costs, obviously just to get business.

I used PODS for the first time and it exceeded my expectations. The service I received was wonderful. It is easy to manage your POD online from move to final pick-up. They arrived when they were scheduled to arrive. Nothing was broken. They have a great video online of how to pack the POD. I would definitely use their services again.

Very expensive. Got an actual mover to BC for almost half the price. Wasn’t able to get anyone to respond to my phone calls in regards to my cancellation. Crossing my fingers that a Pod doesn’t show up at my doorstep in 3 days. Unprofessional.

Please stay away from PODS. Especially in case of cross border moves. Their quotes are super confusing and you will be left with huge credit card bill, even after your move is complete and the empty PODS are picked up. The customer care is virtually unavailable with wait times at minimum of 90 mins. And once you are on their hook, they will somehow delay the move so that they can charge you 2 months rent. Check their Twitter feed, you will see the pattern. Please use Uhaul and move it yourself.

The two containers arrived when promised and pick up was as scheduled. Our two containers arrived at the Halifax warehouse with no damage. First pod was unloaded and everything was in perfect condition. Unfortunately the second pod was dropped will moving around the warehouse and caused damage to the pod and our belongings. We took out full insurance and we are in the process of dealing with the Insurance provider and I hope that process is positive.
