Np with reservation, all went fast and smooth. Only issue was forced to buy $20 tow wire adapter on the spot or couldn't rent it. Buy 1 online for $3 first or bring 1 from princess auto less than $10. 7 to 4 pin is what you want.

Great service, fees explained and time spent trying to get a better price. Date for box delivery is a week away assuming that end goes well happy to give 5 stars. UPDATE: Delivery on time from the Milton location. Problem solving, pleasant and extremely competent. The woman who dropped off was all that and more. I had big doubts about the hand off from one office to another. Email updates, texts, more than one phone call when they missed me the first time. One of the very few things that went well during my whole move. Thank-you - if for no other reason than doing what you said you would do. Quite a feat these days it seems.

I would have liked to have given them 5 stars. Colin was great on the phone and was thorough and conscientious when pricing the job and figuring out what was needed. However the moving guys showed up 1 hr late which in itself wouldn't have affected the rating much, but they took off the door to my 2 yr old freezer when moving it out of the house and never put it back on when we arrived at the new house.....probably because they lost all the door parts. Its been a month now since the move we are having difficulty getting parts (uhaul did try and order parts however they were the wrong ones, we also ordered direct from Whirlpool but they are specialty parts). My freezer has been rendered useless as a result $800 to replace, we had to cancel a meat order and lost our deposit which uhaul never offered to come good for, I can't even do a proper grocery shop without the use of a freezer.......but Uhaul just says we understand, certainly they don't understand the inconvenience and the cost to us. The movers also broke a floor lamp which Uhaul did pay for. We are very upset over the freezer, this should never happen, the guys swear up and down they put the parts in a blue bin which obviously they didn't, they should have taped the parts to the inside of the freezer, but they didn't even have tape with them to do. Uhaul should come good for the cost of my freezer and the meat order deposit we lost at this point. I hope this is not the norm but as it did happen I cannot recommend them as movers!!!!!! As per your answer below I did say you ordered the parts the problem is they were the wrong parts and 1 month later I still have no useable freezer and I've lost my deposit which you didn't cover for my meat order, you have not covered my losses as a result of your movers ineptness which is at this point 1 month later completely unacceptable.......

I work for a professional moving company, during our busy seasons, we typically need to rent/lease multiple trucks. In the handful of times I've used U-Haul Parker Street, this has been my experience. I was rented a truck that was missing turning signals. A truck that has the brake stuck. Multiple trucks that have had check engine lights on. Nearly died 2 times while operating their vehicles. Once the brake was stuck and wouldn't go down. The second time (the reason I've said enough is enough) was just a few days ago, I was driving on DRY CLEAN ROADS, and touching the brakes nearly fishtailed me and my crew into a semi. The first response I received from the owner of this location, was him being extremely unprofessional and telling me that he will no longer rent to the company I work for. I found this to be an extremely poor attitude coming from one of our local businesses. If you value your belongings and life, don't use this location. Just a few of the amazing features you can expect from this location: Dirty cabs in trucks Cigarette butts in the box of the truck Missing turn signals Napkins and food stuffed in vents Cracked windsheilds Faulty equipment Poor maintenance Highbeams that reach 4 feet Torn bars on cabs Employees who don't care A horde of cats in the office Poor business attitude Now if the owner would like to respond to this in a more professional manner to try and resolve any of these issues, instead of telling me he won't rent to dozens of people, because of my opinion, I would welcome that.

Warning - Don't use their movers. Very unreliable and disrespectful of your belongings. Not a good experience for my move. (It's been a month and a half since my move, still waiting for a call.) Finally received invoice after a phone rant and was overcharged, movers were late, careless with my furniture and moved some of my items in their personal vehicle which insurance isn't covered by UHaul. Movers were very unprofessional, undependable, and dishonest. Customer service doesn't seem to be in U Haul's vocabulary.

The two young men were quick, pleasant, and efficient. Only one concern: neither of them were wearing masks. When they entered the house and I was wearing my mask, the older one asked if I wanted them to wear masks. I said I'd appreciate it if they did. The older fellow put his mask on and then asked me if I had an extra for his younger helper. I didn't. The clients shouldn't be expected to provide masks for the movers, nor should we need to be asked if we would like the movers to wear them. Covid19 is not over yet and I doubt either of the two young men have been vaccinated.

We needed to rent a trailer so we played the rental roulette. We won big, they provided: friendly and considerate attention, knowledgeable staff, well maintained and designed equipment and gave me a strong sense that my business matters. This was not provided by one employee, I was well treated by everyone I contacted there. What a gem, no more roulette for me. I know where I will go if I ever need to rent again.

U box/car dolly rental. The u box was perfect same size as shown on website love how convenient it is, hoping it arrives close to the expected date no doubt it will. Car dolly was not available when I was expected to pick it on account of my car needed a wide dolly but they quickly had a full tow trailer upgrade for me at no extra cost about 300kms into my long journey at my over night stop realized the trailer was to big for my truck for my comfort possibly inexperience called uhaul 477 number the operators shut my down saying there was no car dolly's anywhere near me. On a chance I called belleville parker's uhaul and they called me back within minutes and a car dolly I wanted was right by me. Bravo parker uhaul team you guys are fantastic. Thank you for everything

Parker Street Rental not only provides a useful service in exactly the way it claims it will, but also is run by the most helpful, cheerful, friendly, efficient people (Leslie, Mark & Colin) you can imagine. Mark went out of his way (literally -- we live 40 minutes from Belleville) to fix a problem with the latch on the U-Box; Leslie saves stuff for me that would otherwise go into the garbage but that she knows I can use. Packing for a move is awful, but dealing with Parker Street Rental is making it much much less awful. Thank you all!

I just want to start off by expressing how grateful I am to have Parker Street U-Haul rated number one in Belleville or surrounding area as most friendly helpful customer service around! these guys are unbelievable, amazing kind hearted people, no matter what if you listened to the times they wanted the truck back for. They will be kindly enough to help you with the next truck on, I got 4 or 5 trucks pretty much almost back to back because i made sure i was back at that time even if i still needed the truck. Its the trust you give them that you get back. I was actually surprised how much faith, trust they gave me. To be and kind and patient on both ends it's just a blessing. They trusted me and for that i thank them very kindly for being the best!

Unusually a good experience at U-Haul. Leslie was at reception along with Ginger (jumped right besides me asking to be cuddled), Thelma, Louise and Chewy. Leslie was very informative and prompt and I drove out with spick and span 17' truck within 10 minutes. Unbelievably Leslie answered the phone and politely told caller that she has to call back as she is helping a customer. Top rated service and good people, hope they keep it this way :-)

Good movers, but they were 45 minutes late, even though we had confirmed the arrival time with them in advance. The movers told us it wasn't due to traffic -- they just left too late. This added stress to our move because we had booked the elevator at our new place for a particular time. We also feel misled regarding the charges. When we booked the move, we asked how much our total would be all-in, including taxes and fees, and they told us less than $600. They ended up charging us $975, without providing a detailed invoice explaining the charges. We understand that there's a margin of error with quotes, but that's a significant difference! When we called and spoke with them about it, they sent us an invoice, but did nothing to rectify the situation. We have no recourse because, while we asked them to send us a written copy of the quote, they didn't send a proper and complete quote; they just sent the equipment rental contract. It's possible there was a miscommunication, but at any rate, we feel they should be clearer and more transparent about their pricing and quotes. If you decide to move with them, be sure you get written documentation of their COMPLETE quote so that you can keep them accountable.

Uhaul phone customer service is absolutely garbage . However this local uhaul rental is the best place you can go for your rental needs. Don't even call uhaul direct because they are useless. Trust me, these guys go above and beyond for their customers at this location. I wish I just went here to begin with they are amazing. Thank you for saving our moving day!

I brought my newly purchased 2010 Grand Caravan into location as trailer wiring on Van was not working correctly as nothing workiing on trailer when turning on running lights. Previously had very mechanically inclined brother look at and could not figure out but only knowing it had a possible ground short but could not fix, said best to bring to someone who deals with trailers on a daily basis and as local Belleville mechanic shop wanted $100 just to look at. Booked appt and visited Parker St. , Mark and employee diagnosed, confirmed ground faul and other, said would research for correct wiring for this van. Once researched provided, said would take an hour to fix, appt set for a few days later. ( Labour; half of what garage said would cost to just look at) Brought in waited with, fixed in an hour. I would highly recommend Parker Street Rental & Storage for all Trailer Needs, Thanks Mark , Also great friendly Staff as well.

We used the online service to pick up our truck. The truck was ready for us at the front of the building. Even though we were using the online pick up, a lovely woman who worked there came out to make sure we knew how to use the online service and stayed until we were ready to leave. We had arrived after their closing time, but she was still there until she knew we were set to leave. She even marked a crack in the windshield for us to make sure that it was known that we were not responsible for the crack - it was already there before we left. Very helpful!!

These people should honestly be ashamed of themselves. I am truly not sure how people can be so rude. They made a massive mistake in price quoting me to ship my deceased fathers belongings. Mistakes happen and I was very understanding and patient and kind. However, on close to ten occasions I was told they would call me back, and they never would/did. When I very respectfully let them know this was disappointing during such a difficult time, the owner was extremely rude and unapologetic. In fact, he got mad at me and told me he didn't need o be lectured. I don't think any amount of lecturing could turn him into a decent human being.

Havent even got to rent from them yet. Call. Asked if they had some bigger trucks as all these places around here seem to only have the tiny trucks. I was told they'd call around and let me know. Now its after 5, place is closed, havent heard anything, and still needing a large u haul truck for tomorrow. Hung around town waiting. I live a half hour drive from here, have a hungry 8 year old step son with me, and could have been home making supper for him had I known I wasnt actually going to receive a call back to let me know or not. I could have just went home instead. Not that impressed. Last time I rented a u haul, was like 20 years ago. Called. Walked in and signed everything, and left with a truck the very next day. Knew exactly what was going on! Today, google u haul in the area, and get a bunch of businesses that only rent the tiny trucks,or get someone who raises your Hope's in getting some assistance, only to be left sittingwaiting until after closing hours. Thanks U Haul, from myself and a hungry 8 year old asking why we didnt just go home and make supper instead. Muchly appreciated! NOT!

Way to costly. From belleville to kingston gas was almost 60.00. Also the engines heat way to quickly. Burns the feet to the point you have to put them up on the dashboard.
