A myriad of things to avoid this company for your moving needs: -Movers arrived after/later than me even after saying they had arrived. -They managed to lock themselves out of their truck (left the keys in the truck) which caused a 50 minute delay in the move. -They used our furniture to stand on because they needed to see into the van to lockpick the key out. Very disrespectful. -The movers did not speak or communicate effectively in English and thus did not understand that they could use our dolly/moving cart. -Movers scratched shelving, the legs of furniture and also dropped my BBQ damaging it. -Did not wear gloves or take gloves offered by us -My mattress was moved but also dragged on the ground rendering it dirty even though it was in a mattress protector bag which ripped because of the dragging. On top of that, the movers bled onto the mattress itself somehow. (All while refusing our help to find bandages or instructions on how to safely move our items so that it wouldn't cause injury) - Used the sink to wash wounds and also left blood in the sink. -Items that are meant to be moved by two people were constantly precariously moved by one person in a manner that didn't reflect any respect to the property. -Slow to start, also taking items one at a time (not efficiently using the dolly/s) - the one guy was also CONSTANTLY on his phone. -If we had not been watching them, I'm sure they would have taken 4 times as long. Basically had to do most of the work in moving items and making sure nothing was damaged. -The movers also ran out of wrapping for my furniture after only a few pieces which was disappointing, and lead to many things scratched or dented. Update: Trying to get in contact with the company is impossible since they are not responding to emails or calls.

They don’t run searching things; they came prepared bringing extra material if required. The best was the coordination they maintained. Phoned early in the week to schedule late week move, I asked for a quote, and was told fuel/travel is $130 since it was 1hr drive, and $65/hr. Was also told over the phone I could use any method of payment for no extra charge, I specifically asked (this will be important later). The day before the move I get a TEXT that their truck broke down and they need to reschedule for the following day, would arrive at 1:30pm. I get a call at 1:30pm the next day that they are stuck in highway closures and will be there at 3:15pm. I was shocked but....ok. They did not show up until 4pm. I was quite upset, but the move happens and we're on the way to our destination. They stopped at Timmies for 20 mins on the way there (we were driving behind). When we arrived they unloaded, a few boxes looked a little topply but good enough. They piled boxes high on the TV stand and I asked them not to . So after they're done we're going through the charges and they are trying to make me pay $50 for using my Visa, I explained that's absolutely nothing that I was told on the phone, and I just kept getting the run around. And was told if I pay cash, it would be cheaper, which I would have done if I knew there were extra charges hence why I asked on the phone prior to booking. Then we argued about length of time. I couldn't believe that they were 2.5hrs late, tried to overcharge me, then kept arguing with me over it. Will never EVER book again. Stay far away!

I have hired movers in the past and I can honestly say my experience with Movers4you was awful. 1- they were 1.5 hours late making the day prolonged 2- they didn't bring a big enough truck so not ALL of my belongings were moved. I had to then move the remainder of stuff on my own ( defeats purpose of hiring movers) 3- one hour into the move. The movers ordered a pizza sat on the floor and took a 30min break. when they had a long commute during the move to eat . 4 - they had to take apart patio furniture to make it fit. they stripped the screws in doing so making assembly very difficult. 5 - they leaned my furniture against the truck causing a few scratches. I would highly recommend staying away from this company if you can avoid doing so. Just an honest review of the poor service i received.

Good value for the amount paid (~$400 for 2 movers and a truck, 1 br from hamilton to toronto). They were punctual too. Only 1 small part of our furniture broke in the move, which isn’t the biggest issue. I didn’t mind/didn’t ask for compensation. We (the movers and I) forgot 1 carpet in the moving truck. It took about 3 months to get it back delivered. (I understand that due to covid they aren’t working many new jobs, but it was a bit unprofessional) The movers may have scratched the walls of the stairwell while bringing the couch up, but I don't mind. (Kudos to them for getting it up 6 floors, but also lucky that they didn't get caught/weren't held accountable for repairs) I originally rated 2 stars, until they returned the carpet, and I have since updated it to 4 stars.

If you want more stress this is the company for you. The night prior to our move Sam called and said truck broke down and they won't come til afternoon. Then at 3:30pm they came and one said he had a bad back and couldn't move piano or anything. A replacement came for him and that man had an incredibly helpful ATTITUDE and great work ethic. Too bad the overseer was so .... uncaring, unorganized ... I could go on. Spare yourself... look elsewhere. These are movers4you if you want cheap and unreliable.

Worst professionalism. They cancelled the moving confirmation just one hour before the scheduled moving time. Can you imagine receiving a call just one hour before the moving time saying, "Sir, we have to cancel the order."?!? If they are in this business they must have all sort of backup ready for fulfilling the commitment. The car broke down CANNOT be any acceptable excuse. On top of that they did not even offer or care to recommend someone else for the job. If you are planning to take a day off from your job for the moving and you have only limited service elevator schedule for the day in both of your new and current building, then STAY AWAY from them. They offered to come the next day but that was not at all a solution for us. We prepared ourselves for this moving for almost like a month to make this as smooth as possible, but thanks to them, we had one of the worst days of our life.

I went against my better judgement and went ahead and booked with this company even after reading several negative reviews. BIG MISTAKE. It was the worst moving experience I have ever had. I called 2 days prior to confirm and let them know I had to be out of my apartment early in the morning and only had the elevator booked at my new place until noon. They assured me they would be on time at 9 as I had booked. On the day of the move I received a phone call 10 minutes before they were supposed to show up with a lie that their "truck broke down" (read the other reviews they have used this excuse WAY too many times) and they would be at least an hour late. They showed up 2 HOURS LATER. My landlord ended up charging me an additional $50 as I was supposed to be out earlier. While waiting we ended up moving most of my stuff onto the street to have my place cleared out. The movers did load the truck up quickly (as most of my stuff had already been moved outside) and they arrive at my new place at 11:50, in which I only had the elevator booked for another 10 minutes. Luckily we were able to share with the person who had it booked that afternoon. Once the furniture was moved in, I was really upset to see they had scratched my new dresser in several places. I called and talked to the owner who eventually gave me $50 off the move to pay to my landlord, but I still don't think what I paid was worth it. Please DO NOT book this company, unless you want your furniture ruined and the movers to arrive hours late.

Movers were great, their personality was awesome and they were laughing with us the whole time. The truck broke down the night before and apparently they left all their moving blanks AND DOLLY in that car. They took a lot of time loading boxes one by one. Where the dolly would have taken 5-6 in one shot. They also had a DISCOUNT rental truck which made some bad first impressions off the bat. We thought this ‘company’ was a few college kids trying to get some side money. Only one item was damaged (unfortuatlry it was the $500 TV Stand) where they said “you’re moving, something is bound to be damaged”. With this all being said, they moved a 2-storey town house into a one-storey basement apartment in the four hours that we requested. Their price was also better than the four other quotes that I got (by almost half). Overall, great experience and I would recommend them to a friend.

When called, I was told by the owner that I will be getting a mini van and ended up with a truck that did not get into the under ground parking. This caused so much delays and I ended up paying for unwanted overnight storage in the truck. The movers were polite though.

Booked as a last minute mover with an astronomical price ($280 for 2 hours). The movers came, looked at the half empty truck the 2 flights of stairs to bring them and told us they were going to grab a coffee and return to help us move to only have them tell the dispatcher they want to refuse the service. The dispatcher said they will come back at an additional $50 because there are stairs (again, 2 flights) so we canceled them. Left us high and dry at the end of the day and were unable to book a new mover due to the late time.

STAY AWAY!!! Awful from start to finish. Delays, damage and poor moving skills. We are in touch with a lawyer and planning to take the owner "Sam" to small claims court for the damage to our house and products. We will be reporting this company to the better business bureau for investigation and reporting them to Canada Revenue Agency of Canada. This guy is just so stressful and is bad for your mental health.

Unreliable. First, they were supposed to come at 4pm on Thursday for a Toronto pick up. At 2pm I get a call that their truck broke down. They will now come at 8pm. I then get a call from a second person stating that they will come at 4:30 on route from Kitchener. Next, I get a call from the original guy who is oblivious to the second person's commitments. We are now slated for 8:30pm. Another call informs me that they will not be able to do the job today afterall. How about tomorrow (Friday) at 2:30pm? OK, I say. At around 1pm on Friday, and now skeptical about their promises, I call the company to confirm the 2:30pm pick up. They have no record of the move. Instead, they are under the impression that it is Saturday evening, even though that time was never agreed to. At that point, I went with another company that arrived on time 30 minutes after my first phone call.

Don't trust the fake reviews. Owner was extremely unprofessional, lacks any manners whatsoever. Movers were good character but were visibly inexperienced. They didn't bring any gloves. I found a great deal on Kijiji , for an executive cardenza and hutch. The only issue was its solid wood and very heavy. With this company The name Highway Robbery is well and alive. They charge by the hour and dont even have dolly's to load boxes rather they take a box at a time and that is in between personal phone calls. Their quotes mean nothing. I even fed the 3 guys and later found they had thrown part of the food all over the driveway. They did not take my deposit into account. Damaged a lot of my furniture as they did not have blankets to cover properly. If you are thinking of this company RUN.

So..I just moved in, had a sofa delivered from a company I won't name here, and was told upon arrival that the free delivery didn't mean they brought it inside! I was in a pickle to say the least. I called them and made the arrangement for my moving a month ahead of my moving, I kept following up with them to make sure they come on time on day of my moving, I got emails from them that they made me assure they are coming on time. On the day of my moving, I received a phone call 2 hours prior to my moving time that they can not come at the time we made the arrangement and they will come 5 hours after the appointment time which made me very frustrated and they put me in position that I was getting crazy what to do now?? I booked elevator from my apartment at the moving time and booked the elevator to my new apartment after moving is done and now after a month of booking ahead and kept following up they just simply called me and put me in a horrible situation . Very disappointed, unreliable, unprofessional and very dishonest.

If I could give Zero I would.I booked well in advance for a small apartment move for my disabled daughter.I specifically stated I would be out of country and needed to ensure they got started at 10 am as the elevator was booked .They assured me it was good ,and they understand... Well. They did not even show up.After numerous attempts to contact they gave me a lie about a truck breaking down ,when the guys did show 6 hours late they explained they were double booked! They arrive with no blankets or dollies ,but go to U Haul to get some.They we're unsuccessful so just left the apartment and never even moved them!!! I arranged a hasty move from Vegas , otherwise my daughter would be sleeping in a hotel or worse THE worst experience ever. .stay away!

I highly recommend Movers4You for their excellent service. The movers are friendly and listen to all your needs. The movers in the process got some minor scratches on one of my dresser because of a tight space in my apartment, which i feel can happen sometimes in the process of moving but i was impressed by how the manager was able to provide me with the solution through the insurance and also gave me discount to cover the cost. I would not hesitate to use Movers4you again.

We scheduled with Sam (owner) three weeks in advance. The night before our move I received a call and was told one of their workers had been injured and they wouldn’t be available until 1:30pm, not 10 am... okay that’s understandable. The day of the move I received a text from Sam asking if they could reschedule for 2 days later. I didn’t reply. Thirty minutes later I receive a call from Sam, saying there was a mistake we were still on for 1:30pm (the message was apparently for someone else). At 12:30pm (an before the move) Sam calls me to say they are having issues with their truck, and they’ll have to reschedule for 2 days later. Long story short we didn’t reschedule, and do not recommend Movers 4 you. We luckily found another moving company within an hour, who are within the same budget and reliable.

For one week, I was looking for a good moving company to help me in transporting 1 king-size bed. All the companies that I got to talk to were either not responsive or were charging super expensive fees for moving just one bed in a not-so-far distance. I tried Googleing and searching for more companies, till finally, I found Movers4you Inc. They are very responsive and accommodating. I booked it last minute and they still accommodated the job. They listen to your worries and assure you that everything will be intact. I somehow had full faith in them since the starting and they did an excellent job. This company will damage your stuff and the owner will say this happens during all moves, "its not a big deal". It wouldn't happen if they had skilled workers and proper tools and equipment, and it is a big deal when my property gets damaged. Sam the owner claims to have an office with a department that deals with issues but that is a lie. The two movers confirmed that he has no fulltime staff and calls around for temp workers or students. When he cant find workers, the owner will make an excuse of the truck broke down or my driver is injured. They will delay your move and damage your house and stuff. Do not use this company. The owner cant be trusted.

I recently moved and used Movers4You. Very disappointing experience. They arrived 1.5 hours late with many excuses. After a full day of loading their truck it wouldn't start and we had to wait around while they tried to figure out how to boost it (using my vehicle). They were not gentle at all and didn't wrap delicate items although they were asked many times to be gentle or wrap certain things. At the end, they simply told me to take all delicate items with me. In addition, after the unload they were very eager to get out of the house which seemed a bit odd. I later realized it was because they had severely damaged my dining table (to the point of not being able to repair it). They didn't tell me this, I found out after they were gone when I went to move the table. They offered me $50 and then came up to $65 which didn't even come close to the value of the table. I would not recommend at all unless you have a very small move and not many valuable items.
