Troy picked up an urgent phone call I placed to his business on a day when another moving company I had booked my move with just did not show up, without warning. He promptly sent Andy and Ivan to move our things out of a basement unit and into a 14th-floor apartment, which they did very efficiently with no damage and zero issue. Best move I've had yet! This crew showed up early, ready to work, and with all of the tools they needed. They were very polite and communicated with us very well. All of our belonging were handled with care and not a thing was damaged during the move. The pricing was great and they were very efficient. We had to move in the middle of the pandemic, the same weekend many of the students move out. I called less than a week in advance, and yet, they fit me into their schedule! They showed up on time with a big team to help with efficiency; all were friendly. Upon arriving at the new house, there were some size issues getting my ridiculously large couch into the house. But the staff worked with me to safely get everything inside. I told them theat day that they saved my marriage...and I wasn't lying. I would definitely reccomend this team for your move.

Claims of being the cheapest movers in the city are no longer valid apparently, but the claims remain as false advertising. Compared to the competition you get less while paying for more. Contacted via phone and email for quotes, someone who I believe was the owner was very abrupt and rude, even accusatory. I accurately told him what I had to move, was just told I'd get a "truck" for a certain price, I had to look up their Kijiji ad to find out it wasn't a regular sized one like in their pictures, somewhere in between that and a cargo van. I would have been ok with paying them for more time and doing two trips instead of one since my new place was close, but he got angry and all of a sudden it wasn't an option and I would just have to pay for a more expensive truck instead, when I'm pretty sure without too much luck I would have been able to get two trips in without going over the 2-hour limit and paying extra

Left stranded on our closing date by Ants the movers (do not use them ever!) Troy at Kingston Pro Movers seriously hooked us up. Thankfully we were able to have one additional day in our home but with less than 24 hours notice he showed up with four guys in a 27 foot truck. The cost was amazing to boot. In 4 hours we have our 3 storey, 4 bedroom home emptied and moved and unloaded! Quick and efficient which is always a concern for hourly payments. I highly recommend using Kingston Pro Movers for your next move will be disappointed. Thank you so much you seriously saved us. I will do my best to recommend you!

They were accommodating when I needed to rearrange the moving dates, and they worked extra hard on a very hot day to get some large pieces of furniture around some very awkward corners! I was on the 4th floor of my building (with no elevator), still they were incredibly fast. Even though it was absolutely exhausting and a lot of work, they barely took a break. They finished the job within the promised time with no damage to my belongings. Overall, I had an amazing experience and will recommend a hundred percent.

We have moved 7 or 8 times but this one was the best moving experience ever. Strongly recommend Kingston Pro Movers for your next move ????. Things went as smoothly as Troy (owner) had promised. All team members worked were efficiently and effectively to complete our move in minimum time possible. We were given 4 to 6 hours estimated time for our 3 bedroom house and the whole move was completed in 4 hours. Excellent workmanship by all. Very happy and satisfied with the overall experience.

Tldr; mostly competent movers, horrible communication and organization, 2.5 hours late, would never use again or recommend, caused lots of unnecessary stress for our moving day. We were excited and happy when we picked Kingston PRO Movers on a recommendation of a friend. Troy was quick to answer our request and was available for the date needed, 4 persons on short notice, we were pleased. We originally booked for 8:30, but then when finding out the elevator was only available at 8 or 10, I called back and Troy said they'd rather start at 8 in case they had another customer booked later in the day. I'm not a morning person, but no problem, 8 it is. The day of our move comes, and at 8:00, no movers. We called Troy, no answer, called numerous times between 8 am and 10 am and no answers. Got to the point that I actually was calling other movers because I had no clue if they were coming and actually booked someone for the next day. Finally at 10 got a hold of Troy and he said he had us booked at 10:30 and that the guys would arrive at that time, and that he didn't get my calls because he had been out drinking last night and had slept in. No mention of reimbursement for their mistake or anything. So finally we got moving. 2 of the movers were complaining/hitching about the company the whole time they were moving out stuff whatever, not a big deal to me, but gives you a feel for the company. Everything in the truck, 2 guys get in the truck, the other 2 in another vehicle and us in our car saying, see you at the house. We arrive at the house, shortly after the other 2 in the separate vehicle arrive at the house, but no truck. Waiting, waiting, no truck. The 2 guys don't know where the truck is, so they call them. They had to go get gas. Again, I get it, stuff happens, but if you'd communicated it to me it wouldn't be such a big issue. So finally, truck arrives, Troy calls to say that he understands they had to go get gas and that shouldn't come out of the time I'm paying them, so to reimburse me for that AND for them being 2.5 hours late he would knock a half hour off our final price. I reiterated the stress he had caused by being 2 hours late and he said the half hour was all he could do. Ok. While unpacking guys left garbage on our lawn and the neighbours, the foreman did pick it up before they left though. In perusing our belongings after, overall good, nothing broken, some things with small dings, but overall mostly competent movers, although no runners to protect the floors (and it was raining, luckily we had some of our own we were able to throw down, but did not cover whole house.) Would not recommend, so much extra stress causes by their inability to communicate effectively.

Kingston Pro Movers let us customize our package by giving us their advice, but ultimately letting us choose the number of team members and additional services. They quoted us on a price over the phone and were true to that price. They checked in to make sure they were taking everything we needed them to take. They did a final walk through with us to make sure our belongings were in the right place to make unpacking easier. The team was very friendly, kind, and professional. They worked quickly and did not stall despite being paid hourly. We would absolutely hire Kingston Pro Movers again for our next move.
