The people were happy to comply with my wishes and overall the job was done to my satisfaction. There was a small tear in my couch but they apologized and compensated me for it’s repair. I highly recommend Jason’s Moving.

I contacted Jason’s moving company, and spoke to Paul LeSage on Nov. 11th about getting his company to move a hot tub. They assured me that they had done lots of hot tub moves. I explained the job in great detail to him, over the phone. We discussed payment, which was a 3 hour minimum at $165./hr plus tax, which came to $559. And agreed to a deposit of $200.Paul’s son Jason forwarded over the contract. I noticed the addresses were wrong. I asked him to change them. He said it would be done and wouldn’t be a problem. Two days before the move I had to contact Jason to find out when they would be arriving. He told me that he wouldn’t be there and his crew was more than capable of moving the hot tub. I asked Jason if he could let me know 15 mins before his crew showed up so that I could meet them at the house. At this time I asked Jason once again to correct the addresses on the contract. He assured me that the correct addresses would be on the work order sheet.On the morning of Nov. 25 @ 8:15 I received a phone call from Matt Dwyer, the crew lead. He told me they would arrive in about 20 mins. He asked me what the address was because the one on the work order sheet did not exist. I told him the correct address and I would meet him there. Jason never change the address. Matt and his crew of 2 guys showed up at the property around 8:30 in a rented moving truck. Without any equipment they attempted to pick up the hot tub and carry it to the truck. They were able to move it 1 foot before putting it down and claiming there was no way they could move it. After Matt spoke with Jason on the phone he came back and told me there was no way they could move it today. That they would have to reschedule and the move should be no charge because of the inconvenience. But he couldn’t guarantee that would happen . I asked Matt why Jason didn’t request to talk with me, didn’t offer to come to the job site to straighten this all out, didn’t try to come up with any other solutions. They just wanted to get out of there ASAP. The total amount of time that they were there was 20 mins. I waited for a phone call from Jason . After not receiving a phone call from either Jason or Paul, for 2 hours I once again had to reach out to them to get some answers. I had to leave a message. 30 mins later they finally called me back. Not to discuss the situation, not to come up with solutions. He called to put the blame on me. Jason said that I misled him, that the hot tub had to be moved by a crane, and water was still in the tub. That it was unsafe and he was terminating the job. I tried to explain to him if he was going to move a 700 pound hot tub with no dollies, straps, proper equipment he would need more than 3 guys. I told him that he would need 6 guys. He told me the truck can only carry 3 guys. (You got to be joking )I tried to continue with my side of the story and he hung up on me. I can verify the hot tub was drained. It had less then a half inch left that the pump could not suck up . Less than 2 litre that I could have soaked up with a bath towel in 1 min . It was brought in 5 years ago by 2 professionals with a dolly. It was by no means an unreasonable move or one that needed to be done with a crane. Bottom line is they showed up unprepared for the job I hired them for. The homeowners sold the house and I needed it gone that day. I have paid an electrician $500 to put in the proper GFI set up. I have dug up my yard and put in a proper pad for the hot tub (so much work ). Now My back is forced against the wall and have to sell it for a lose to get it out of there before the homeowners move.All of this because I hired a “professional” moving company that supposedly have moved LOTS of hot tubs.On their website Jason claims he is on all job sites because it’s his name on the company. That he shows up to do all estimates. We have never met Jason or Paul. They have never been to either property to assess the job. Please do the proper research we failed to do .I’m embarrassed to have dealt with this family run business . Disgusting ????

The crew who arrived precisely at 9:30 were personable, polite and efficient. They worked hard on a sultry, sweaty day and spent their time and effort to carefully wrap and secure every piece of our furniture, to the specifications of our contract. When we saw these three fellows drive off with most of our worldly possessions, we had no worries. The rest of our move - out of storage into a new build- has yet to happen. Look for more when we're all done. One suggestion - Jason needs to get Magnetic signage to slap onto the UHaul truck he uses so that he gets some advertising for his business. So many people stopped to ask who was moving us and commented on the care they were taking with our stuff, and we didn't even have business cards for him.

To preface this, I've been through my share of posting(s) with the CAF - this was my first move post release on my own cost. I can say without exaggeration the service with Jason's Moving was superior to any BGRS tasked movers/large chains. Jason's Moving employees handled everything with extreme care, left zero scuffs/damage in the origin/destination homes, and worked extremely fast. Specifically in my case I moved during a heatwave (sorry) and I was shocked at how **few** breaks they took. I would use them again for any future moves. The price was extremely fair, the truck and equipment they used were in great condition, they took their time to document the process, made a plan, and conducted it smoothly. The movers in my case were **Chase, Matt, and Bruce**. Super friendly, hard working, and accommodatable to any of our fringe needs/furniture.

I was pleased they were available on short notice. Jason was very pleasant to deal with. It cost me about $1100 to move three pieces of furniture from Campbellford to Winchester. I would have expected they use floor mats to protect the floors as pushing the heavy armoire on the shiny hardwood floors took my breath away for a moment. I also wouldn’t have thought hitting the banister necessary as many large pieces of furniture have been vacated from the attic and bedrooms in this 1885 home by the previous owners and no damage was done. So for the price I would have liked a perfect job. However Jason overcame the problem with a small compensation.

They did a professional walk thru with me to see the possessions that were being moved. Everything was handled, packaged and packed as if it were their own things. They were cheerful, humorous and so very kind to us. They even helped my wheelchair bound sister down the steps. The move into the new accommodations was excellent as well. We chose Jason’s Moving based on good reviews but we had a bad experience. The owner dispatched his crew at wrong time without any notice/explanation, refused to correct overcharged bill, and ignored the damages done to our furniture. Actual bill was 40% higher than quote. And we had to pay for the repairs ourselves. His crew were friendly and courteous though. - - - - - - Thank you for the response from the owner. Let's clarify a few things. First of all I won't call broken piano leg and chipped corners of new TV stand minor damages, not to mention the piano has special meaning to our family. His crew showed up an hour early at 7:30 am without any notice . They arrived when our kids were still sleeping and we were busy disassembling large furniture to get ready for moving. We were charged for that hour when his crew were waiting for us to get ready. I am very accurate about the 40% increase of our final bill than the quote or estimate. The increase was due to 2 extra hours plus the hourly rate difference which was extra $30 per hour. He confirmed in the response that my invoice was for 13 hours. Then why was I charged for 14 hours and why he refused to refund the overcharged one hour? As for the extra truck, he had to send 2 small trucks that day because the big truck we agreed upon was not available for some reason. I don't usually feel compelled to write reviews but I'd like to share my experience this time.

The two moving guys were wonderful but I (quietly) worried since one of them was only wearing a gator (useless) and the other kept adjusting his (proceedural/blue) mask while coughing. We have immunocomp'd family (plus a family member that died of covid) so have a real reason to worry about these things. They were great guys, did a wonderful job BUT in the middle of a pandemic your company could be stellar instead of below-average in terms of protecting your clients: maybe tell your crews to wear N95s when they meet clients. Would use again...when this whole covid nightmare is over.

My husband and I chose this company because of fairly good reviews.The moving crew were good but someone needs to know how to pack a truck properly because of this some lawns chairs and small table had to be left behind.When the crew arrived the truck was overheating so a mechanic was called which delayed us 1 hour.The final price of our move was $200 over max quote.After putting together our furniture the next day we noticed scratches on a couple of pieces and 4 gouges and I mean gouges on my dining room table.My husband sent the owner a friendly email stating the price overcharge and the damage but it is now 4 days later and no reply so because of him we will not use their company again or give a referral.

I am new to the area and requested a few quotes from different companies to move my partner and I from a 1 bedroom apt to our new single family home. Jason was the only one that actually called me, and came out and looked at what we needed moved, was very thorough, professional and lovely to deal with. It was also the best price. The other companies only emailed back with very high quotes not even knowing about everything we had, etc. On moving day, the 3 movers were so quick and efficient. While the movers were friendly and courteous, some damage was done and in my opinion it was because they didn't have the knowledge + techniques of how to move larger items. It seemed as though they were not professional movers but rather some helpers that were just dropped off. There were several times throughout the day when we were made to feel as though it was an inconvenience to move items to other floors such as bedroom furniture upstairs. It took them substantially longer with their 4 people to unload then it did with the 3 movers we used to load in at our original home. All in all it was not an awful experience but very hard to give a perfect review. Pricing was fair and overall everything turned out okay. Thank you.
