We were given a quote and false information. Over charged for driving to us and home. which wasn't discussed or mentioned when setting up the move. They were extremely fast and decent with the move the only problem was they Lied and then argued when confronted even had the nerve to disrespect us when we called them out on their pricing. Probably good for short hauls but not for the long runs.

We needed a piano removed from the basement of my mother inlaw's home. We were unsure if the piano could be successfully manoeuvred up the newer stairway. We were also on a very tight time schedule. My communications up front with them was ongoing in an attempt to determine the best protocol for my move. They were always very respectable and responsive to any questions and they communicated with me throughout the packing, the move, and the unpacking. They were all super friendly and helped me to lower my anxiety over the process. They were happy to share advice and move things twice if you changed you mind about where things should go. I would recommend Cory and his crew without hesitation. I’ve already planned on having them back in a couple months once we unpacked and determined what doesn’t really fit into our new home for a dump or charity haul depending on items remaining. They do moving but also junk removal so it’s nice knowing who to call for either or both. Give Cory a call. He’s give you a good price (call other first, and tell him you did). He’ll work with you. I needed a HUGE MOVE IN UNDER 48 hours and they accommodated me.

The poor guys made 15,000 trips up and down a dreadful flight of stairs and didn't complain once (Sorry, again. Lol) The move went off without any casualties to our stuff, they had several blankets ready for glass and also to not track dirt into our new home. We used EMS Movers to do a long distance move for us, from Warkworth to Sudbury in May 2021. They came out and estimated how long it would take to load/unload all our possessions (which was a lot)! The whole process from our initial contact right through to the unloading at the other end taking 2 days (as there was a 6 hour drive each way) was seamless. The guys worked really hard and got everything done in the time they had allotted, with no overage charges. We’d just like to thank the team for making this part of our move, stress free! The owner, Cory (I believe his name was) and his brother were very rude about my belongings and how I had more boxes than they expected...they spent 20 minutes trying to lecture me on how I didn’t tell them I had the boxes that I had! They ended up charging me double what they quoted me huge jump from $350 to $600. They told me this after they arrived so there certainly was no time to find another mover or I would have. The one positive thing I can say is they had two other guys helping them and they were awesome! Pleasant, joking around and of it wasn’t for them it would have been the WORST miserable move I have ever done! So thanks to them I believe their names are Mario and Cory ... well done guys! the owner is lucky to have you both hope they paid you all the extra money I had to pay!

Both my partner and I used Greg and his team over the last few days in two moves, one local within Peterborough, and another from my storage unit near Stouffville to Peterborough. What a great crew! They worked hard, were pleasant and friendly (and interesting!!), took great care with our stuff, and made both moves virtually stress free. They showed up when they said they would, had all the right materials and equipment, took the amount of time they estimated, and allowed for our preferred payment method. Nothing but positive comments from all of us involved! By the way, the price was fantastic! Compared to what I was quoted by another company that I used back in June, we got the same care, competence and service for less than half the price!

I gave all my details to a person on the phone who gave me a quote. When the movers arrived they spent a lot of time on the phone discussing price and then they gave me a price of $100 more than the price I was given. The truck was really dirty and messy. My stuff was really carelessly packed inside - my fragile TV box was teetering on top of a much smaller box, and a few boxes fell over. The guys were friendly, that was the positive thing. For that price I would have expected much better service though.

I’d give these guys 6 stars if I could. Originally booked thru another local service that ditched and bailed after 30 minutes unloading my 16 foot trailer because they were upset that they didn’t bring their own dolly or that I had two story flight walk up. I was left stranded with furniture on the road beside my apartment and my emotions were at the very least challenged. What a time to be treated with such disgrace during a pandemic! I called EMS for an emergency relief move even though they had a booking later that day they agreed to come help me out and in 15 minutes there was four angels that came out of that truck and had my pod unloaded in under two hours. Their price was right, their service was excellent and I’m glad the other dingdong‘s didn’t work out. Thank you to Cory and staff! EMS moved us in May from our house to new apt in Pbo ~10min away. They took care with more expensive/sentimental items and great with smaller things we didn’t get packed. From first call to day of move they helped make at least one part of a highly stressful situation for my husb and I easier. We’ve used the well known competition (shall go unnamed) and EMS’s owner prob too professional to say but I will... these guys are better. Period. All staff on day were polite, helpful and went above and beyond if needed. Other tenants in bldg have used competition (you know) and from our window could hear swearing, LOTS of talking and music and maybe smell of cigarette (not allowed on grounds.) We’re far from prudes BTW just didn’t sound professional. PS I was one with big bucket of stuffed bear! ???? Thx! ????

Staff put up with a very hot day and an equally inconvenient access to the condo being moved into, responding cheerfully and keeping moving . Always helpful and responsive to anything I asked for. These guys are absolute GEMS!! They have provided moving services for me on two separate occasions. Both moves were efficient & really smooth. They are professional, friendly and respectful. They work non stop and my move went very quickly. The price I was quoted was what I paid, and I found very reasonable in comparison to other quotes. Timing of the move during a pandemic was a concern for me given my on-going health issues and related treatments, however the team was respectful of the request to wear masks as a precaution, which was probably uncomfortable but there was no complaints. The guys work really hard, non stop and very quick! The team is friendly and happy to ensure all of your belongings are placed where you want and things are put together. I found everyone to be really calm which helps minimize the stress of moving.. and I actually enjoyed having them in to move as they made it a fun experience. Everyone was really upbeat and in good spirits throughout the move - no grouchy movers here LOL. My furniture was all wrapped and carefully packed. The team was punctual and the move was completed ahead of schedule. Can’t say enough good things about Cory, Greg and their team. I usually don't post reviews online, but absolutely had to post this after the amazing job that EMS did on our move last week. The whole crew was super friendly and worked extremely hard the entire day while taking the utmost care in moving some really large, heavy & awkward items through some tight spaces. I was super impressed with these guys and really have to take my hat off to them. In addition to the great work, we got quotes from several other moving companies in town and EMS was by far the most reasonable. Cheers guys and thank you again!!!

Gord, Mario, and Corey from EMS moved my stuff from a 2nd-floor 1-bdrm apartment (and down some narrow stairs) and into a 5x10 ft storage unit. Although their first assessment was that the stuff would be a tight fit, they got it all in the unit with plenty of room to spare (maybe didn't need to sell my sofa after all - oh well!). They were not only very efficient - it took them exactly 2 hours from when they showed up to me putting the lock on the storage unit - but also courteous and friendly. I would definitely hire them again.
