PUPS has been absolutely amazing every step along the way. From the first call, everyone has been so courteous and helpful. This process has made our move so easy. I highly recommend them to anyone who is moving, or staging a house or who needs extra storage at home. If you have to access your PUP, they will arrange that so that you can go to their storage site and get what you need out of your container. They are so accommodating.

I have used this company's storage containers twice. They offer a cheaper monthly rental rate than PODS, and every employee I dealt with, either during phone calls or with the delivery man (Jason I think was his name) provided excellent customer service. I will definitely go back to this company and I highly recommend them!

I was very impressed with Pups, from asking to a quote through to the final pick up. The information was clear and detailed on the quote, with all costs explained. The communication I had over the phone was friendly and full of information (I often even had the same woman who was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. I think her name was Jenn). When I made an error and thought the wrong container had come, I called the number but it was closed on the weekend... However by the time I realized my mistake, they had called me to help me, even in off hours. The container was delivered on time on expected date, and I received calls before and updates by text the day of. I was very impressed with the service we received and it all worked out really well.

I was very happy with my service from PUPS Ottawa. Everything from the friendly customer service staff to the actual pickup and delivery of my PUP. Loved getting the automatic notification on my phone when the PUP was within a certain distance. The drivers for both drop off and pickup were both very friendly and arrived when expected. Will definitely use the service again, although I NEVER want to move again lol, moving sucks!

It's very inconvenient not to be given a more definite time for drop off of the filled PUP to the new location to unload. I was given a 10 hour window to wait to for the container before we could unload, ridiculous

I see the 1 star review, and typically don't write reviews but thought I would chime in. We used PUPS for our move within Ottawa and they have been nothing but efficient and professional. It was easy to sign up, quick to schedule drop off/pick up, and no hidden costs. The person on the phone even uses StreetView (I think?) to discuss where to place the container with you! I'm not sure if their prices are competitive, as I didn't really look around a lot, but it does seem a little expensive. They are doing a lot of work between multiple pickup/dropoffs and storage of the container, so fair enough! I would definitely recommend. It would have been incredibly more difficult and time consuming (and back breaking) if we had used a storage locker for cleaning out our house to get ready for staging it for sale. Well worth it!

I used PUPs when we moved from our old house and our new house was yet to be finished being built. Our old house was in a location that was not serviced by the PODs company, but it was serviced by PUPs (35mins outside of Ottawa). I filled out the form online to get a quote, someone from the PUPs team called me to verify what I was looking for. Our PUPs container was dropped off at our old house, and we had pre-scheduled when they were going to come pick it up. Drop off and pick up were super easy and no issue. Our new home was delayed (due to COVID) so we ended up renting/leaving our stuff in storage longer than we expected. I emailed PUPs to let them know, they assured me that it was no problem and just to contact then when we were ready to have the PUPs container dropped off. I emailed PUPs on Sunday (before Family Day), on Tuesday morning I received an email back saying that my container would be dropped off the next day (Wednesday). I was impressed with the turn around time, given I emailed on a weekend and a long weekend at that! When we opened our container, everything was perfectly fine (even though my husband didn't secure our TV in hopes it would break and he could get a new one). The PUPs Team has been great, they're easy to deal with and very prompt! I would 100% recommend if you're moving from one place to another, and your new place is not ready yet. Having the ability to pack up our container and have it put in storage until needed was perfect! Thanks again!

I was not informed at booking that retrieval of my pods might be a challenge and not immediate upon request. An advance date had to be booked and in December, that was a month later than needed. Gaining access to my storage unit was a bit of a challenge locating it, as it was in an obscure area, difficult to find unless you knew where to go. Bottom line, I would still use Pods but would ask more questions going into it. Overall it is a positive experience.

We had 6 containers stored for over 2 years with PUPS and when it was time for us to retrieve them it would take over 20 minutes on the phone to actually schedule a delivery for every container. In addition, we had a simple request, to have the container delivered inside our new work site. The drive was able to get inside and deliver the first container with no issues but he was then directed to not put them outside and only leave them outside. When we called to get a reason for the change, we were met by an unprofessional responses by Client Service Manager and even after offering to take on any liability issues, PUPS was unwilling to assist us in this request with no valid reason. We will never use this company again and will never recommend the company to anyone.

The PUPS container I rented leaked and ruined some personal property. As I had purchased 'Peace of Mind Insurance' I contacted PUPS for remuneration, providing them with numerous photos. After days of waiting for a reply from their Assets Manager, he advised that I did not qualify for the insurance. Some weak attempts at justifying this were made by him, I was billed insurance premiums every four weeks for almost a year by this company. I have retained a lawyer to recover my costs and terminated my rental of the PUPS container. I do not recommend this service. I found them to be lacking in integrity and underhanded.
